Mind you I called about 30 minutes until close on a Friday with pricing questions on a car that hasnt even been seen yet. John was patient with me, tried to answer ANY questions I had, was very upfront and honest which I HIGHLY respect and was a perfect blend of both professional and personable. Never have I experienced being so comfortable with entrusting the safety of my family to a repair shop. Knowing that the work being done on my vehicle is going to be top notch without having to haggle or being sold a service or part I dont need.Even if you dont have the capital to fully cover your repairs their staff will walk you through applying to a service that can help pay so you can keep your vehicle on the road. The 90 days same as cash is a wallet saver if you budget properly.I will continue to bring all my vehicles and eventually my kids vehicles here.

The guys here are so nice and so fair. They were along to my stepdad who is elderly and to me. Theyll not try to get money from you and even tell you if its worth getting fixed or not. And their work is great and quick. Theyll also let you make an appointment if youre schedules require. Ill definitely continue to use them.

Husband came in with an issue with his brake lights and turn signals not working, gets it back, that stuff works and now the lock and unlock doesn’t work, when it was working when we were there and I was a witness of him talking to the guy with the guy, they aren’t taking responsibility! Worst experience ever!

Not to be associated with the one on Southfield, This one is on Fort Street in Southgate. Awesome staff, great work great prices. They are most definitely stuck with this new customer!!!! They even have a 3rd party company that can finance repairs. I will be back for all my car needs.

You will never find a repair shop that will come close to the amazing work from all the wonderfully skilled mechanics at Riverside auto. My wife and I have had our van looked at and fix buy them on a few different occasions. The staff is friendly, respectable, and very skilled and quite knowledgeable of what is exactly wrong with your vehicle. I will always, no matter what mode of transportation I have, go to them for any and all repairs needed. Dont waste valuable time looking around for the best deal when its right here.

Came in to get a exhaust estimate, when I arrived the owner had attitude and had smart remarks to make. As he got in my car which happens to be low, they didn’t take the right precautions by placing wood on the ramp so my car could go up without scraping. Fast forward, as the owner is taking my car down ....still no wood, he rips my bumper of and his little associate there stood and watched it happened. Then when confronted about damage made to my car his words were “ I can’t fix that” . The guys there are unprofessional and act as if they know everything . Don’t bring your expensive car here, they will just break it and tell you, “ I can’t fix it”

The mechanics were great! Very informative. Took my auto in to be repaired and they kept me informed. However, when I went to pay for this repair, and used a credit card, I was told that if I did not pay with cash, I would be charged a 4% added charge for using a credit card. Unfortunately I could not give 5 stars because this. If you are looking for a repair shop, they are not the only ones in the area, as that will be the last time I take my business there! If the company they use to charge your credit card cost them that amount in fees, you have to wonder about their own credit worthiness!! Goodbye Riverside Auto !!

Had to get my car fixed. The are amazing! Not only were they honest and friendly but they took care of my car everything fixed within 2.5 hrs. By far the best experience in an auto repair shop by far. I will be going back for further repairs and recommending this to friends and family.

These guys rock! I needed a new engine in my Cadillac. Turns out I also needed a new fuel pump and they took care of both for me. These fellas were also very speedy getting my baby back to me. The customer service is through the roof in this shop (111%)! They are willing to come to your house to look at your vehicle (when it doesnt start due to your anti theft device). They even gave me a ride to work. These are some great people to deal with and they want evert customer satisfied! I will definitely be back to this shop again.

Took my 2000 firebird to riverside auto for a safety inspection. The following day I got the call with a LONG list of things that needed to be fixed. I was given my quote for ALL repairs and decided to call another shop that was near to see what they would quote me. The quote was 2000 dollars different!!! Riverside auto takes GREAT care of their customers! The prices CAN NOT be beat! If you are looking for honest mechanics and great work this is the place you want to go to! These guys replaced my muffler for a fair price. The work was excellent and they saved me some money. Clean atmosphere to wait in unlike most of these smaller garages. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a muffler.

I took my daughters car in last week and they were able to fix very quickly, in spite of our busy schedule. In fact the manager Sam went out of his way to help me, her father who uses an electric scooter, easily access their building.

Alright work but charge is 1.5 to twice the price of competitors. For your brake and exhaust need Wear Master is the place to be.

I had a rear tire shock break this past Friday evening. Not only were they one of the only places open on the weekend, but they ordered the parts I needed & fixed my car in less than an hour for an extremely decent price. It drives like a dream now.

Went to Riverside Auto because I needed new mufflers. I have a 2009 Impala which has dual mufflers. Unfortunately I didnt have the money to get both replaced. So in a compromise, they capped 1 exhaust pipe and installed 1 new muffler. Now my car is quite again. Thank you Riverside Auto

Thought I needed a whole new motor and couldnt afford to fix anything that was wrong with it! Brought my car here and I didnt need a motor but they took care of me with no problem! New heads, coil pack, plugs and wires.. Runs like new Havent had a problem with my car since I will definitely be going back!!!

These people are crooks said one thing and did another placeed the blame on the young mechanic. he told me he would replaced my power steering hoses and pump and they didnt made a mess of all my power steering hoses and my power steering cooler . Five hundred dollars down the drain went somewhere else was told it was a mess good luck if you go here .

I want to say a BIG thank you to Dan. Dan helped me so much with a fule pump repair with such short notice and on a Saturday. He stayed over after they closed to get it done for me. I couldnt ask for better service, quality, and just plain out compassion!!!

I had my truck at 3 different shops and it was gonna be over a thousand dollars to fix it and they would have it for 3 days. I went to riverside auto in southgate. They had my truck done next morning and it was only $750. The staff thier is extremely polite and gave me a ride home and picked me up when truck was finished. I would recommend them to anyone that needs thier car repaired.

The left front wheel is a bit tight, although I know it can be solved! Your technicians, violent running-in is a little scary!Fortunately, there is a new engine oil change.
