I stopped in for the first time yesterday to take a work call while traveling through the area. I didnt get anything to eat, but the cold brew was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly. I ended up purchasing a bottle of wine, a shirt, and a sticker as well! I hope to be able to return to this spot sometime soon. Wonderful ambience (reminds me of a Seattle area coffee shop, but without the tweakers). Their wet cappuccino is amazing and their biscuit breakfast sandwich is made fresh and its mouthwateringly delicious.Its right off the highway but didnt feel like it. Right outside the back windows is a beautiful view of nature.

Absolutely loved it here. We came for my birthday and had delicious salads, pourover coffees and cakes. Staff were very friendly and helpful and my kids were made to feel welcome, even though there were no other kids there. Nice mix of people. The outside seating was beautiful, such a nice location. Enjoyed their wine selection too! Wish they’d done their cheese board and/or their egg dishes at lunchtime too bc as a vegetarian my options were a bit limited (and I love cheese and eggs!) but I understand it’s common for lunch places to do this. Highly recommend this place and hope to return!

Outstanding cappuccino. I would definitely go out of my way again to grab coffee here!

The coffee here is really good, nice atmosphere with yummy salads as well. Unfortunately a lot of the other food is not good for reasons that are easily solved… when I received my açaí bowl the açaí mixture was basically water rather than a thick mixture. The grilled cheese was barely grilled, and when we received a bagel it wasn’t even toasted, just a plain cold bagel. The food has potential to be good with some simple fixes so it was pretty disappointing. Maybe it was just an off day. As I mentioned the coffee is really good.

Cold brew coffee was acidic and tasted like cooled down hot coffee. Key Lime cakes were excellent though.

The service was great, but the coffee was way over-priced and fairly undrinkable. Even the house coffee was acrid. We had three different kinds of drinks and could each only handle a few sips before tossing them out. Just really unpleasant flavors. The building is aesthetically pleasing, but was not designed with crowds in mind. Theres no sound absorption so even with a few people in the shop, it gets really loud and is not a good place for conversation.

I love the comfortable and inviting atmosphere. And the staff are just so friendly. It makes you want to stay and eat and drink lattes with friends. The food is absolutely delicious as well. I would highly recommend Creekside Bean and Vine.

1st time here, I had oatmeal with berries on top, brown sugar and milk. It is recommend..House coffee is good, Spearfish creek just outside. Snowing this morning. Expensive, but a cool place.

We came for breakfast twice in 4 days! Thats saying something, since Spearfish has so many amazing places to eat. We ordered the breakfast board and were delighted by the mini pancakes, bacon and fruits as well as whipped cream and syrup for dipping. The avocado toast was yummy, especially with the addition of bacon filled from my daughters board! Good food, friendly service and a pretty view, who could ask for more... oh and they are dog friendly too!!

Very cute little coffee/ wine bar I ordered cold tea It tasted like dishwater she said nobody orders much cold tea in the winter. I dont think I would order it in the summer either. 🤮Maybe next time I will stick with wine you cant go wrong with that.

Its a sweet place. I went later at night and the food isnt really filling at that time. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They tried to accommodate my vegetarian diet, but I was just ravenous and couldnt seem to fill up on finger food.

Love this coffee shop. Will definitely be my new go to. Have several specialty drinks that I’ve never seen before, all of which were great. The atmosphere is very sophisticated, can’t wait to sit by the fireplace come winter. The owner is great and incredibly welcoming. Don’t miss out, the new best coffee in town.

I met a client at Creekside Bean &Vine this morning. The service was great. The quiche and fruit was tasty and the ambience cant be beat. I definately will be back.

My sister and I enjoyed ourselves having a lunch here for the first time today. Its such a nice fancy place, with an aroma that makes you feel sophisticated. Dishes served in such a way that makes you feel like your on top chef lol. We ordered salads and coffee and sat outside on a lovely porch area outside. Reasonable prices and the food was good, would come again someday

I highly recommend Creekside Bean and Vine. The owners and staff are all so sweet and welcoming. The ambiance is beautiful inside as well as outside--you cant beat being right on the creek, listening to the water running through and watching wildlife in the fields. We love going with our family!

As a millennial mother I was excited to learn about a new place to bring the kiddo and family as well as a place to bring visitors to show them what makes Spearfish such a great place. Im not really a fan of this place, I think that we as a community should take a long hard look at ourselves. I feel like this place is a big step back for the community of Spearfish. I thought I would be greeted by a fresh trendy place but instead my husband and I realized that this place is just a couple of wealthy folks in town who have no clear experience in the service industry. Sure, you can buy nice equipment, hire the best people you can find, etc. but at the end of the day a cafe is only as good as its owner(s). The prices are too high for quality that is subpar for the cost. A cafe/wine bar, at least to me, is a place that you go to feel comfortable as well as a place you should be proud to spend your money. Every time I drive past this place I get a little sad. This part of the creek used to be so beautiful and now its just a monument to a couple of old trust funds. The cappuccino I ordered came with scalded milk (yuck!) and my sons hot chocolate wasnt mixed properly resulting in a sludgy sugary bottom that set him into a long complaint fit. I guess I was hoping that underneath the nepotism the people here would still end up delivering a high end experience. Im sure the coffee they buy is whatever they were told is the best without developing a palette for it themselves. Judging by a few other reviews and some conversations around town I think that this is simply the best we can expect. I hope they enjoy the view they bought and privatized for themselves, I guess it goes to prove that money cant buy life experience.

Beautiful location on the creek! Amazing menu selections with very unique options you wouldnt expect to find in Spearfish. Acai bowl was delicious and possibly better than the one I had when I was in Hawaii! Such a great addition to Spearfish

Pretty views, pretty mediocre coffee. We tried both a drip coffee and an espresso drink and neither one was very good... I love cortados but couldn’t finish the one I was served.I’d come back to drink a glass of wine on the beautiful back deck, though.

The Bean & Vine is such a wonderful addition to Spearfish. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful location, and with such a diverse menu from coffee to wine to pastries to charcuterie boards, I’m finding it really hard not to spend ALL my time here. I’m also very excited about the fact it’s open until 10, which will make late night coffee needs during finals season so much more convenient. It’s an absolutely gorgeous building and inside is so beautifully decorated that I can feel fancy while sipping my coffee or wine without actually spending the money. The coffee is outstanding and the wine selection is hard to beat, plus the food they serve is absolutely unmatched in Spearfish. With all that combined with the affordable pricing, it’s basically a little slice of heaven for a college student like myself. They have such a great variety of seating for independent studying, big tables for groups, or cozy chairs and sofas for a casual hangout.I am literally here every single day, I can not recommend this place enough!

We had heard this was a nice place with a relaxing atmosphere, however we were overwhelmed with obnoxious, loud rock band and yelling and screaming bar crowd. Wont be back.

This is a great place for a cafe/winery. The owners are wonderful people, and the view is quite stunning, with both the creek and Crow Peak.
