Amazing experience at the Green Bean Coffeehouse. Super friendly staff, great menu, and delicious food. My partner and I each got a breakfast burrito. I’m lactose intolerant and vegetarian, they were able to accommodate all my requests perfectly. Will for sure come again and highly recommend. The coffee was yummy too!

I ordered a caramel macchiato and blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The coffee was so good and not too sweet. I think price for bagel and cream cheese was a little over priced because I can but a package of bagels(4-5) for the same price. It was a small restaurant with good decorations and cute patio to sit outside.

Great cafe with delicious coffee, smoothies, and food. We stopped for breakfast. Service was friendly and fast, there were plenty of options for breakfast, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We had breakfast sandwiches and burritos. All were made fresh, served hot, and delicious! I recommend Green Bean and will be back.

Loved this spot! Great latte and a welcome respite from the burger focus on the area. Veggie hummus sandwich was lovely. Animal protein also available. Hard to see, though. I looked right at it and drove past, but we found it after doing a uturn. Highly recommend!!

This place is awesome. Very charming, modern, cozy - pretty ideal for a coffee house. Excellent coffee and other beverages. The food was fantastic - my wife had the breakfast sandwich and I had the keto bowl. We will make a special trip to enjoy this spot anytime we visit the Hills in the future.

First time trying Green Bean. Thought my Smokehouse sandwich tasted good and was hot. Brewed coffee was decent. Not sure what kind of beans they use. Environment was also nice. All in all, it was a good choice for Spearfish and I would go back again.

The Green Bean is amazing!! I am a big coffee shop person from Minneapolis and this is my favorite place Ive ever been too. I tried everyones drinks and they were all incredible, the food was good, the atmosphere was so cozy and beautiful, we sat outside it felt like we were in out own mini forest. I wish I could go everyday, I think about the Green Bean often.

We love the Green Bean Coffeehouse! Great service, good coffee, good smoothies; and we found out this visit they have good food too. I ordered a breakfast burrito that was delicious! I love the atmosphere there!

I really do like Green Bean. Drinks are good, food is good. But on a very consistent basis (7 of the 8 recent visits), when ordering a simple black coffee, the drink is lukewarm at best, nearly cold. The only time its been a decent temperature is first thing in the morning. I get them regularly as its one of our favorite coffee places, but Im apprehensive to go now as my significant other loves their black coffee but has been disappointed by the consistently cold temp.

It is okay. The staff is great. It used to be THE BEST coffee in town. But over the last few years the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. This sad excuse for a BLT (with precooked, frozen, very thin bacon😖) and a large Chai was over $15.

While in Spearfish, the Green Bean Coffeehouse gave me a cozy place to land, friendly staff, strong WiFi, a wildly fresh bagel with house-made cream cheese, and a coffee to make my former-barista-heart happy.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love this place. Ive lived here for 7 years and it has been my go to coffee shop. But after today, I dont think Ill be spending my money there anymore. Our coffee and food is consistently wrong, and today was the icing on the cake. My fiance ordered us togo food and when I got there to pick it up my coffee was wrong. I told the lady working that it was wrong, and she proceeded to tell me that what they made was what was ordered and wouldnt help me out to get what I wanted. Our food was also wrong, again.. Weve had over 15 orders wrong (this is not an exaggeration), and we keep giving them opportunities to change our minds. After so many times of being disappointed, we will be choosing to go elsewhere for our coffee. We are disappointed all the same, because this used to be our favorite spot to go.

Very cool hangout. Excellent place to study. Warm inviting atmosphere. I had the daily med roast and it was hot and bold. Bathroom was clean. A true coffee house. I’ll be back. Thanks.

For someone who isn’t a fan of coffee, they have a chai tea that is to die for! My friends say the coffee is delicious, and there are a lot of different flavors you can add. The atmosphere is just like home, and the cheesecake is oh so nice! They also have a drive thru!

Hands down the best coffee place. It beats Starbucks by a mile. You can call and order ahead of time before you actually go to get something. I highly recommend the Big Train which is a cold drink and can come in vanilla, mocha, and coffee.. I think one more flavor but I cant remember it. They have a drive though.

Fun, quirky coffee place on the main drag in Spearfish. The place is in an old house with plenty of Spots to get her with friends or chill and do some reading. The staff is super friendly. I had a seasonal eggnog latte. Very good! It is also while here that I discovered that Llamas are now trendy. Plenty of llama references throughout the place which is quite fun.

Im not a big fan of coffee shops. Im one of those people inclined to believe that coffee shops are tourist and hipster traps, designed to take your money for convenience and atmosphere for lunch meat and overpriced coffee. But the Green Bean is legitimately tasty and reasonably priced. I never feel like they skimped on portions and theres almost always a nice place to sit and contemplate or catch up on emails. Staff is always friendly and they have plenty of fair trade and ethical options, not including local art inside. Local treasure 💖

Our family discovered the Green Bean when we were in town this summer on vacation. We liked it so much we ended up going back multiple times. It is an upscale cafe with a decidedly local feel to it. the coffee and snack selections are excellent and the staff are very, very friendly. They even remembered us from our first visit and struck up a conversation with us! The cafe is very family variety with a pretty decent sized seating area in side (maybe 8 or so tables). It is on the main stretch in Spearfish, just off the hwy, but it is in a remodeled home so it isnt obviously a cafe when you drive by. The shops sign is outside on the corner of their property, but it is slightly hidden from the road. If you dont know where it is or what youre looking for, you would easily miss it. There isnt any parking lot, so you will have to locate street-side parking when you visit. They do have a drive through, but it is clearly a very popular place and every time we went there was easily a line of 6 to 8 cars in the driveway. If youre in Spearfish looking for a good cup of coffee and excellent service, then this is the place to go!

This is a fun trendy place. The food is great and they had a wide variety of drinks, hot and cold! It is busy, but the service is quick and they are all very friendly. We definitely will visit again.

From their delicious roasts, to their scrumptious sandwiches everything the Green Bean has to offer is wonderful. The drive through is great if youre on the go, but its got a fantastic atmosphere to work on school work, read a book, or chat with a friend if you have the time to stop inside. Their prices are all reasonable, especially since any of their drinks will be cheaper and tastier than any Starbucks latte. My personal favorite coffee shop in town.

My friends and I tried this place and we loved it! It is a cute coffeeshop that is great to hang out at. Make sure to check out the upstairs rooms as well.The drinks we had were good. The Italico sandwich is yummy.

Soup and sandwich combo was great. Had the Italiani with a cup of super-thick and rich potato and leek soup. Coffee had to be re-heated since it was made earlier in the day.

Absolutely the best coffee shop in the area, the servers are like family. Theyre usually very busy, but usually ask how your doing or whats going on in your day or life. When they graduate you really miss them, but another great young person takes their place. Good gathering spot to connect with others.

One the road for transcontinental drive. Went for carryout because I had been sick the night before after eating in local Chinese place. This restaurant had wonderfully restorative veggie dishes that were light and tasty. This is the kind of road food I dream about. Healthy and tasty. Nice helpful folks, comfortable decor.

Asked a local friend where to get the best cup of coffee in Spearfish and they recommended the Green Bean. I had a delicious iced Americano on a hot summer day after hiking in Spearfish Canyon. The drive through was a bit slow (like the sign promised) but as you can see, they came out to take my order while people in front of me were waiting for theirs! Will definitely stop in to the place the next time were in town.
