Just the right quantity of each variety in order to pack so much inventory into one place. SUP paddle? Yup. 9mm Ammo? Yup. Horseshoes game? Yup....

Poor customer service. Had to ask twice for assistance in the shoe departmentSize availability was limited and i needed a size 10When the clerk found my size in a shoe i liked it was a used shoe with rocks stuck in the treads.Definitely recommend shopping elsewhere for both customer service and availability.This location needs tremendous help and training for the entire staff to understand customer service

Went in today and looked at heavy bags. Never have used one before. Jonathon knew exactly what I needed as someone who’s starting out and recommended a great bag and set of gloves I wouldn’t not have gotten without his expertise.

Got some nice shorts there.. ok price, but no dressing room to try them on! Rediculous! And.. no public bathroom! Stupid.. Every store in town has a bathroom for public use! People have Emergency Bathroom issues !

If i could rate a minus four stars I would. Do not appreciate EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE HARASSING ME. I like my gloves that i bought. But do not appreciate them following me every step i took in the store. ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE Standing at the door when i was at check out. I PAID FOR EVERYTHING LIKE I ALWAYS DO.

Over all a great store. The staff was super kind and helpful in finding the items we were interested in. All of the equipment is a comfortable standard price. The clothing and workout attire did seem a bit on the pricy side however.Overall great experience store and staff

Yes, when the shoe has 44 clipped onto the laces, that is going to be the price I make your manager charge me. Not 55 because a computer says to. It was also the only pair of 9s left. Everyone had thier grubby hands on it, because I showed you the display price tag. If someone shows you that, you dont stand there and act like I have to pay a higher price because of your excuses like someone must have labeled it wrong. Your display is the price tag. Thank goodness the manager came along and quickly lowered the price. Its not the 5 bucks really, its the fact that I dont want a switch-a-roo screw you at the last second.

I have bad knees. Staff brought shoes to my car so I didnt need to get out after finding what I needed online. Took my cash and brought me change. Great service.

Its been a long time seen Ive been at a Big 5 Sporting Goods. I got me a pair of hiking boots. Because I got a pair about 8 years ago and they feel good on my feet.

This store has just enough of everything! A good solid community go to shop! Customer service has always been top notch, I could not be happier with how well Im treated and when Im watching, the associates treat everyone well!

Every time I have been to Big 5 the on sale flyer item always are sold out or didnt get the product with the sale ad,every time Ive gone there.

The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, and after looking at several stores, I now have my volleyball shoes!

Excellent shoe department.

They carry a lot for baseball but not much for softball. It is disappointing that they cater to the male youth but not the female youth. Lots of options for boys, not so much for girls.

I would recommend anyone Big 5 is one of the most courteous helpful yet non-discriminatory stores that I have visited. The store was organize it had a large array of items that were well priced and were good quality. I would recommend this door most definitely. The staff remember I spoke with had a wide knowledge base about the products Venice company sold. Great customer service skills and even gave me his personal opinion on his experience with a specific item I was looking at.

I had a good time here. I went in for some shoes and was greeted by an employee upon reaching the shoe section. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely wanting to help me find the best shoe. Quality of the shoes are great too. Ive had this pair for a month now and they arent even damaged or falling apart yet, unlike Wal-Mart fall apart.

Wonderful down priced items. Always something on sale. If you dont see the item you want on sale, ask for a manager to find out when it might be back on sale. If it was recently on sale, they might give that old sale price right then. Very helpful staff and a wide variety of name brand products for all seasons and sports.

Sales staff helpful. Great active shoes, dont you love it when you go into a place and you see the whole wall is full of shoes! Its like a running shoe warehouse. If you cant find the sneaker in the style you like then youre too picky.

Staff here has always been very friendly to me and if Ive ever had to do a return its never ever been a problem. Big 5 is very good like that. Whenever I need a pocket knife I always go to Big 5 first because they have a great selection of pocket knives Chinese and American at a great value

I took my son too 5 different store tonight looking for shoes, and the shoes are all manufactured the same way,, there isnt any real difference anymore, JUST THE PRICE.
