Best bar in the area, hands down. The bartender, Sadie, is AMAZING. We come in and just tell her to surprise us with cocktails. We have not been disappointed yet, in fact, we’re always stunned with how great they are. It’s never been super busy when we’ve been there which is nice. Food is great too! Not a bad thing to say. This is our favorite weekend spot.

Find Sadie. When she gets an idea of your flavor profile she can take care of you the rest of the night and you dont even have to tell her what to make. This place probably has some of the best cocktails Ive had in Houston. Sometimes the music is a little questionable, but just order the bacon-wrapped dates and youll forget everything. Those are exceptional 😘Im only updating this because my brother and I went and tried to get service but after 20 minutes all we got were plastic cups of water. Everyone else had glasses,(yes there were clean glasses)! Our server did not even acknowledge us out of the 3 groups in the outdoor seating area :c after 15-20 we left and went to Sabbatical Spirits which is amazing! Blew out minds. Great spot to try and make home :) cant wait to go there again!

Service was good considering they only had 1 waiter Ben. Food was HORRIBLE! Ive heard such good things about this place and I really would have rathered wait in line at the Loose Caboose. We had artichoke and spinach dip for an appetizer which came after we waited a total of 1:07 minutes for our food. Yes, they were busy but I saw our food sitting in the window for 20 minutes before Ben was even able to go get it and I even had to ask him to check on our order. Understandable again because poor Ben was all alone . HAIR was in my artichoke did! After all of that needless to say I cannot ever reccomend this place

Great menu choices. Great drink choices. Great service and staff. I had the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich and it was delicious Next time Im in Old Town Spring I will definitely come back here for lunch.

As an avid cigar smoker Im always looking for new places to sit, drink, and smoke and Prohibition delivers. With an eclectic range of cocktails as well as bar bites and a nice food menu. They boast a selection of local whiskies and have a well stocked bar. If you enjoy a cigar you can purchase them there, albeit from a limited selection, or bring your own. The cigar area is quiet with a TV, Bluetooth speaker, and poker chips and cards.

They have so many options for drinks! I got the Smokey Pina and if you like a good mezcal drink you will enjoy. They have a cigar lounge upstairs and a deck to step out on if you want to be outside. I cant wait to come back and try the bloody mary flight.The brussel sprouts with Sriracha aioli is good.

This place is great. They have really good food and great drinks. More of a cocktail bar than anything. Theyre old fashioned is probably the best and ask for them to smoke it.

Cant wait for our next visit! My wife and I had a great experience here after walking around Old Town Spring. We had a couple cocktails that were all very tasty, the pizza and sweet potato fries were also delicious. Bartenders did a good job checking in on us even though the place was busy at the time.

Honestly, the waitress was great (unfortunately dont recall her name) but the bartender and woman who closed us out were absolutely horrible. We let her know that we ordered a round of shots, minutes before last call, and she gave us a terrible attitude. Bartender gave us an attitude as well (just as bad as the woman who closed us out) and poured the worst drinks imaginable. Worst shots imaginable even though we ordered the best. Cant emphasize enough that the waitress was fantastic, the service just sprialed after her. Thank you to the waitress, but wish we had the better experience after.

Cocktails are amazing!! Hailie was our server and she was absolutely awesome. She was a great host and always said hi to new customers walking through the door and directed them where to sit and that someone would be right with them all while providing great service to others tables. Just excellent!!

It was nice to receive the response from Owner/Management. Having a Strong community is having a strong team. One Lady with dark hair cutting ice was extremely nice as she worked on her side work. Ive always spoke highly of Prohibition and will continue, but I read the reviews so hopefully things get better.

I went with a friend last night for their steak night. Drinks were slow, but I let that slide. When our meals came, I commented on the steak I received. It didnt look like any cut Ive ever seen. The waitress assured me that I got the proper ounces. I may have, but it was scrap. It was overcooked and I couldnt cut it. The cook knew they were cooking scrap and the waitress knew it was inedible when she saw I didnt eat it. She said I should have told them. She never asked after serving. My dogs liked it, but they will eat worms. It was so disappointing. It was my first and last time to go there.

My wife and I enjoyed this place. I recommend the old fashioned and the devilled eggs.

Well...first time going here after being told how great it was. Not impressed at all. Food was terrible, service was atrocious, and they had a very small selection of cigars. The ONLY reason theyre getting even a 2 star is that the whisky flight was amazing. Otherwise it sucked. Will not be going back .

Freaking love this place, but also dont want to promote it too much because I prefer less crowded places and dont want everyone finding my favorite place to hang out. Their drinks are creative and amazing. Go often enough and you can learn the secret drink menu. The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. Just make sure to tip well and treat them right and youll definitely find yourself there often. Also, theres a cigar lounge upstairs if youre into that sort of thing... personally, for me, thats a sometimes thing, but the lounge is set up very nicely.Belinda is very knowledgeable about different liquors and is an amazing mixologist. Ben is also completely awesome and will make you feel right at home. Show them a lil love, let them learn your tastes and then just give them free reign to make drinks for you. You wont regret it.

Very nice local bar at the old Town of spring, top floor cigar lounge, bottom is an old country style bar, the atmosphere is very nice. I think they do specialize on whiskey they had big selection of whiskey and they do make good food as well.

Would not go here to get sideways. The appeal is definitely top shelf cocktails starting at 10 bucks. The food is good but I wish the menu featured more options. Staff is great and the cigar lounge is pretty swanky. Also whoever was in charge of the music the last few times Ive been there has been solid.

Maybe it was the time, but I went there for the first time, stood at the door wondering donintske a seat or wait to be seated, after getting the attention of a waitress I asked do I find my own seat, she said find a clean take it, so I sat down waited almost 15 mins while waiters passed me by like I had the plague. So I left.

Fun atmosphere, good drinks!

Was greeted by bartender, told to sit anywhere. And so we did. Another party sat themselves after us...they were greeted before us. No biggy. But after 10 minutes of not being greeted or acknowledged we were done. First time we have felt uncomfortable and unwanted. Wont return.

Cozy bar/restaurant. Staff was friendly. Drinks was great. The food was terrible. I ordered nachos. The chips had been overcooked. The beef was burned and very dry. The cheese tasted like the canned cheese you get at a carnival. The fries tasted burned. I am definitely not going back.

Love this place! Ever since we visited, we havent stopped going. Our main guy is Jameson. Hands down best waiter ever. Very professional and knowledgeable about anything on their menu. Definately recommend him! You cant go wrong with anything you order. Food is delicious, their drinks are amazing and the selection of beer is great.

Came in late afternoon, pretty mellow. I imagine theyre much busier in the evening. My drink was delicious and my friend got something with a bit more theatrics involved. Fun to watch talented bartenders to their thing. Didnt try the food, no vegan options but I never fault an establishment for that.

Great bar! Awesome mixologists! Excellent apps and entrees! The burgers are on par, the fried pickles are just right, and the mini tacos hit the spot! Great mules and other drinks! Cool, hip location. Parking is a challenge, but thats part of the charm of this destination location.

I always enjoy a beer or other beverage of choice at Prohibition. Try the Old Fashioned as everyone I saw there was ordering them. This is because it is professionally prepared by bartender Jameson. He doesnt just mix a drink, he crafts your beverage of choice...fantastic every time. Lastly, Prohibitions Buffalo wings are the best around. Ive sampled a few wings in my day, trust me, they are the real deal. Give Prohibition a try, great beverages, food and friendly staff make for an enjoyable break in your routine. 👍

Its an awesome place if your into these kinds of places. Not my style but for those patrons not prone to my level of anxiety seemed to be greatly enjoying themselves.

Really the slowest most inattentive wait staff. Dirty glasses. Friends get service others dont. Waited 10 minutes for a shot of whiskey at a whiskey bar. Waitress didnt know the difference in Scotch and Bourbon. Strange place where it helps to know people with a good selection of bourbon.

My husband and I just spent a lovely couple of hours at Prohibition in Old Town Spring. Our waiter was Jamison, and he was great! Gave good advice on old fashioned cocktails, pizza and fried bread pudding, all of which we enjoyed immensely! It was a nice, laid back atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon and we can’t wait to go back!

Went here for our first trip to Texas, and I must say it was super awesome! Drinks were strong, music was great, and the front porch was great for enjoying the nice Texas weather. Totally enjoyed our experience there! Our bartender was also super awesome and had great recommendations since my husband and I are adventurous when it comes to drinks!

From initial order to subsequent, expect extended wait times.And the barrel whiskey is always out. “I’m sorry we are out” is almost their greeting.Jameson is our favorite and he is always eager to help make everything right. Ive been missing out! This cozy restaurant/craft cocktail bar is a true gem of a place. My husband and I went here for Thursday Steak Night and were super-impressed! The waiter was perfectly friendly and helpful. He recommended a tasty, unique twist on an Old Fashioned to drink. It was smoky and delcious! We started the meal with the soft pretzel with cheese; it was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle with just the right amount of salt. For the main course, our steaks were perfectly cooked and the sides were real show-stealers! I highly recommend the brussel sprouts; I could have made a meal of those alone!We cat wait to go back and sample some more items on the menu. We highly recommend Prohibition Texas 👍

One of the best little bars ever and definitely conveniently located in Old Town Spring. They even carry BlackHouse Cigars in their humidor.

Very good. Great smoked old fashioneds..good service. Except they took away our food to go box and then didnt box it. LOL they threw away about a dozen chicken wings and our bacon wrapped dates to go...the server was to nice to get upset with. Im gonna be missing my lunch tomorrow, though!
