I had to meet with someone in Old Town Spring & havent been in the area for along time. So we happen to meet here. Not to disappoint. Donuts are made fresh & the owner was waiting on me at the time. 1pm alot of room for parking & eating. Many nostalgic tables. Not exactly close to where I live but, next time Im back in the area I will visiting.

Best Donuts in town ! The kolaches are great. The shop is one of the historical shops in Spring. The owner is just so great and generous, always giving us an extra product, like at the good old days and if he is not too busy and chat sharing some good old stories. That is the only place I buy donuts, freshly made daily! They go fast so you better come early.

Great little donut shop near Old Town Spring. One of the very few places that serve Apple Fritters that are stuffed with apple pie filling. Old fashioned service. If the owner Bill is there, make sure to tell him hi, he is indeed a treasure. Of course they are not to healthy, but they are delicious. Give them a try.

On the other hand great service strongCoffee and really cheap next to Old Town Spring, where you can source a plethora of artesian. Options. Advertising is what pulled me in a few days ago. Will not be returning as my kolache was expired, old, and stale. No joke, the ham was off color and tasted bad. The donuts were decent but gave me a stomachache afterwards. And yes I would have returned to get my money back but not everyone lives close by. Also, no staff members were wearing masks when handling food and payment..... not to be a jerk to write a bad review during a pandemic, and I know times are hard, but there are many places that have their business close by that aren’t serving old food. Hope this review helps owners get their stuff together because y’all have the marketing and advertising down right !

This donut shop has been in Spring for at least 20 to 25+ years.They offer the usual fare of plain, iced, decorated and flavored donuts along with donut holes and cinnamon twists.This shop is not artsy in anyway.However, the donuts are fresh, hot and coming out of the fryers as you wait.No fancy $4.00 coffee is to be found in this great little shop!Just good hot coffee freshly made.No hours old burnt to be served.It is a person friendly place mixing old time Spring residents, sitting at simple tables sharing life and newbies rushing to get great donuts.A simple drive through is available if you are really in a hurry.Just great donuts, juice and fresh hot coffee.... who can beat that?

They ruined this place. Donuts arent sweet. Colaches arent tasty. What happened to Shipley?

This donut shop is off the beaten track. All of the staff were very kind and courteous. We received 4 dozen glazed donuts from them for a teacher and staff breakfast. They were gone in a matter of minutes . The donuts were fresh and delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone. And a big thank you to the staff at Spring Donut Shop for everything we really appreciate it. And your donuts were a huge hit. Thanks again.

The wait is way too long and the service is most definitely lacking. I understand the food is affordable but please spend the extra money so that youre not aggravated at the end of your meal. Sometimes the money you save is not worth your aggravation!!!!!

Very nice place to stop. Friendly and welcoming! We had the cake donuts and glazed donut holes. Both, very impressive. We dont live in the area, but were glad we found this little gem.

Cashier was very friendly and donuts were delicious as usual...I took them to my Peeps at Meals On Wheels for breakfast and they love Shipley... especially when the glazed melts in your mouth when they are hot. YUMMY 😋!!!

Some of the nastiest kolaches I have EVER had. The bread was falling apart. The sausage tasted old. Like it had been reheated 9 times. This place has gone down. Wish I could post the picture of it. Wasted money I just threw them away.

1st time customer and their sausage, egg, cheese kolaches were not fresh but hopefully not more than day old, which is still too old. Same with their apple fritters. I will stick with Shipleys.

Great place very polite and caring about their customer and community, I am a EMT Fire Fighter and one day I decided to go volunteer with colleagues at a retirement home to spend the day with Senior Citizens and they donated 4 dozens to serve which brought so much joy and happiness to the citizens, they had coffee and Donuts together which gave all the opportunity to meet and get to know each other . From the outside you would think it would be amazing donuts from years of being in service. It’s not. Kolaches are awful and donuts are even worse. I won’t be going back and will tell others not to waste their money there either.

Seems like the only thing that changed was the name. Brought my daughter here over the 4th of July weekend and the donuts were fresh and delicious as always! Friendly staff too.

Ordered a jalapeño kolache and got an old stale brick.. Took one bite and had to spit it out.. Should of just threw my money out the window. An employee had to pick it up so they knew it was old and hard.

Sometimes the kolaches are not the best but the staff tries to get your order right. Hats off to them for giving great effort

I ordered 3 glazed donuts the lady told me it was $2.40, I gave her $2.45 & she gave me the donuts. I ask her for my change she told me I gave her $2. 25 I told her No I gave u 2 dollars 1quarter & 2 dimes (Lies!!) She cant count! Dont Lie on Me! Somebody came over helped her opened the register & gave me my change. I was gonna put the change in the tip bag they made & got it hanging on the drive thru window. *Why do they have a bag saying *Tips on it hanging on the window seal in the drive thru??* Never seen this before😯👎

Ill be nice. Lady at counter can not comprehend English, or speak it. Very complicated to the point of frustration, trying to order. Kolaches are a waste of time. Good thing the bread is pretty good because thats just about all you get. The sausage is the size of 2 pencils side by side and breading is about the size of your hand or bigger. I thought shipleys was bad. These make shipleys kolaches look like jumbo carnival sausage.

Went this morning and after I left I noticed that the name had changed, no biggie I still decided to try them out, bought one dozen and one donut by itself and the one I ate did taste pretty good. I had bought the dozen for a friend thats preggo in Denton, Tx, when we got to her home she opened the box only to see donuts with black looking dots on them. Not appetizing at all and needles to say she didnt even want to eat them. Full dozen donuts went to waste and in the trash just like my money.

We awakened early on Fri. morning, and wanted donuts and coffee. Our Shipleys is only 4 miles north of our home. We bought 2 kaloches, ham and cheese, and jalapeno sausage. (They were delicious.:-)Of course we had to have glazed donuts, she twisted my arm so I ordered a dozen.They were straight out of the fryer and then glazed, of course tasting fabulous and melting in my mouth.Now I must get to the YMCA and riding that bike. LOL! :-) :-) :-) :-)

Highly disappointed! Their kolaches are dry and gross! They remind me of shipleys kolaches...yuck! Also asked for a chocolate eclair and received a cake donut with chocolate icing.... this is so not worth my cheat meal for the week. I wont be going back.
