I’ve been looking around for an affordable unit since moving here. Self storage plus is the best deal I’ve found in the northern Virginia area and the front office staff are a joy to work with. A welcome change from the status quo I have dealt with at other self storage businesses.Highly recommend.

Great storage facility! Very clean, well kept and customer service was top notch. I reserved my unit online and within 30 minutes Reco called me to find out how he could help. I was too busy to travel to the facility so he he guided me through the leasing process over the phone and emailed me all of the required documents and I signed my lease with DocuSign. He was knowledgeable very professional throughout the process and I felt safe leaving my possessions in their care. I would definitely recommend this facility if you are in need of short or long term storage.

Fast and attentive customer service. Place has a small parking lot, but is plenty big enough to unload your belongings. Inside has spacious hallways and high ceilings.

The operation is very clean and run in a professional manner. The units have state of the art control systems in reference to enterance and exit as well as security cameras that cover all areas of the storage facility. Great curb appeal from the street and the parking lot

I didn’t have a caregiver today and had to bring my two children with special needs there with me. I had to go back and forth between filling up the paperwork and supervising my children. Cari and her manager, Sarah, were fabulous. They are so friendly, kind, helpful, honest and emphatic people. The facility is so clean. The price is reasonable. I will definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Had to find an air conditioned storage for my one bed apartment but everything I found was expensive and small. This place was the best option as I also got a unit with a big door so I could place my mattress on top after all my boxes were placed.Staff are very friendly and helpful. Place is clean all the time. Will use again if I need them.

Storage facility good. Staff is excellent. Managemeny is ridiculously inconsiderate even during this critical pandemic time. They raised the rent about 250% in exact two years. I would be careful renting space here. I am considering getting out to rent some other storage facility.

Elevator is out of service almost half the time I come to my unit. Nice new place, under a year old but cant seem to fix an elevator. At least this time they put a sign up. Last time they didnt and it happened to open after I pushed the button. A maintenance guy yelled to me while I was on it that it was out of service. Good thing my pregnant wife wasnt on with me and nothing happened.

Self Storage Plus was there for me when I needed it. Their pricing is not the cheapest, but is very reasonable for the area. They had same-day availability, and Sarah was so hospitable and straightforward with me. The location is really conveniently right off of I-395. The free carts for use was a cherry on top!

Was moving offices and, at the last minute, had to make the call to transfer one whole office worth of furniture plus 6 file cabinets to storage. Called ahead to make a reservation and when I walked in, with the movers in tow, the reservation was in the system, and I was brought to a gleaming storage unit, temp controlled, bright, giant elevator, automatic double doors to help the movers get into the space. The location is so much easier than I thought. Right off of 395 and easy access from our main office in DC. Large parking lot. Our two moving trucks drove right in with plenty of space to spare all around them. Normally I like to throw stuff out instead of store it, but in this case, we needed more time to go through all of the files and keep what is essential. After our experience at the Springfield location, I understand why people do this. The unit solved a huge problem for us. People were really personable and professional, and now I can take it one month at a time until we decide where all of these items will go long term. Thank you to the staff! You were a great help!

We rented a storage unit here for over a year. It was easily accessible, clean, well-lit,, and always felt safe and secure, even at night. We had an elevator-access storage unit, but they provided large wheeled carts and platforms for transport from the unit to the car. would 100% recommend!

I would give self storage plus 10 starts if it were an option. The day I was planning to move out of my storage unit, I waited at the facility 5 hours for movers that kept saying they were coming and never showed up. Reco Williams could not have been more kind and helpful to me during this process. He even helped me reach out to movers that were able to come help me the same day. Self storage plus (specifically Reco) made a very stressful day, 1000 times easier. I would never store myself anyplace else again.

My reservation was set so easily and the check in process was a breeze, thanks to Cristian. He’s extremely knowledgeable, explains everything in perfect detail and truly a gem to the facility. He knew I was in a hurry, and did what he could to accommodate me and it worked out perfectly. The storage space itself is extremely clean and well kept. I feel at peace, knowing my belongings will be safe here.

The place is super modern and very clean with plenty of security features & cameras, the units are climate-controlled, REALLY nice, theres an indoor bathroom (which is rare), and the staff is thorough, friendly, helpful, and even entertaining 😁 I highly recommend this place if you need storage, but you better hurry before all the units are gone!!

I wish i had came to self storage first then going to public storage after having bad customer service over there not even couple weeks there . I decided to switch to self storage .... Christian & Sarah were amazing, very friendly and helpful in getting me situated at last min storage place. Never had a problem with them . They explain everything throughly. I highly recommend it . I didnt get the chance to get the other Ladys name during my move out check, she was also nice and friendly made everything easy for me to close out the acct . Like i said great staff highly recommend !

45% rent increase over 18months. THEY INCREASE YOUR RENT EVERY 6 MTHS......UPDATE: this time by 25%. We went from $147 to 214 not including insurance in approx 18 months. That is 45% increase overall. The promo price lasted 3 months. Do not be fooled by anything they say. Customer service is garbage. You get the standard response at the front desk —- they don’t have any control. Call main customer service… someone has to get back to you—- which they don’t. Look elsewhere. The facilities are not worth a premium price.

There was a slight delay when I came in to fill out paperwork, as it looks like I came on a busy day and there was only one employee working at the time but either way my questions were all answered and I was able to get what I needed! I canceled my contract and moved to Self Storage Plus. Christian, the manager on location, was very knowledgeable and set me up in a very short time as I needed. The facility is immaculate and convenient. I am very please so far.

The manager, Sarah, is also a pleasure to deal with as a customer, and it’s clear that she very much cares about the customer’s satisfaction. Update: visited this location today. Very nice. Very helpful. Apparently part of the problem upon trying to contact them initially was a phone problem. We are renting a unit for a few months and if all goes well will rent a larger unit soon. Very clean since its new. Its a secure building with great access hours. Prices are comparable, more reasonable during the current promotion. Im hoping other renters will do their part and store only clean approved items. This location can be as nice as we make it. So come on. Rent a unit and lets help get this location off to a great start.
