I was over at a friend’s house, these guys were an hour late showing up, did the walk through with my friend who was smoking a cigarette when they arrived. She showed them the 20 boxes upstairs that needed taken down, the king sized bed that needed taken down, the bed downstairs, the freezer in the garage, and the 50 so boxes in the garage that needed taken to the truck. An easy job for them. They parked the truck, unloaded the dolly, walked into the house, told my friend they needed to talk to her outside, then told her that they couldn’t do the job because they couldn’t work in a smoker’s house, packed the truck up and left. Now this is a company that my friend has used twice before and it has never been a problem before, but these guys were too lazy to do their job, and the operation manager stood behind his guys. Springfield company is definitely not worth the money, I would go with someone else, they have no problems breaking a contract, so I wouldn’t trust them handling my personal belongings either.

From the original planning with the office staff to the completion of our project, Two Men and a Truck was a joy to work with. The guys were extremely careful and at the same time amazingly fast. The speed with which they accomplished our task was astonishing. They were efficient, friendly, hard working, and very concerned about doing the work exactly as we needed it done. First of all it’s impossible to get someone on the phone. The recording recommends that you use their website to fill out a questionnaire for a quote. I quickly ran into some issues and needed to speak to an actual person. After calling again the phone rang multiple times before someone picked up and hung up again. At this rate craigslist seems to be a better option. I’m sure this would be fine if you have a very simple move but if anything complicated about your situation comes into play you’ll probably have to actually go into the office in person to talk to somebody. Not practical at all.

The office staff was very helpful in the planning process for my move. The movers took great care of my items and worked hard to get the move done in a timely manner. Overall excellent and will always use Two Men and a Truck!

I used Two Men and a Truck this week, and could not be more satisfied with their service. During the entirety of the move they were polite, professional, positive, and friendly. Despite the challenging move due to the heat and the move into a 3rd floor apartment, I did not hear a single complaint from any of them. My step mother and father were moving out from mount Vernon, Friday September 18. Three employees whose names I unfortunately did not learn arrived on time. It is literally impossible for me to think of any negative aspects or areas of improvement; they were phenomenal. My step mother at to work remotely from home. Not only where they effecient, careful, and quick, but the actually took care to reduce noise, kept the front door closed in-between moves (so the cat didnt get out), and were able to load last minute additions to the truck. I have used this company once myself and had the same experience. This company and its employees treat your property like its theirs, and also pointed out existing minor damage (from wear and tear, NOT because of the move) prior to moving said items. In the future they will be my first choice. They set the bar high. I would recommend this company to any and all people who desire quality movers at reasonable prices.

I have used this company twice and both have been great experiences. The men that Ive been given for my moving team have been friendly, prompt, and hard-working. Even on the hottest day of the year and moving up multiple flights of stairs they were extremely helpful and efficient. Maddie in the office has helped me both times and been wonderful!

This was not a typical move! The initial call was handled promptly and professionally. Daniel and Cory had to load everything going up an incline. I had boxes and lots of lawn ornaments that were odd shapes. They were very respectful, polite and professional at all times.

We hired Two Men & a Truck to move our office of 25+ years to a new location. The team called before arriving, arrived on time and were ready to go. They took precautions with regard to our belongings and themselves as it was snowing when they were loading the truck. All 3 of the movers were courteous and receptive to our suggestions, questions, etc. None of our belongings were damaged in the move, they were extremely careful with our expensive office equipment and confirmed where all the furniture was to be placed. This team worked efficiently and professionally, finishing the whole move in 4 hours, well under the estimated time we thought it would take. For any future moves we will always call them first.

We were blown away with how sweet and professional our movers were! Daniel, Caleb and Dennis listened to our concerns about certain furniture pieces and moved everything..... without a single break on any of our furniture, china or glass curio cabinets. They took TWO WEEKS of me and my husband both submitting estimates and making half a dozen phone calls just for them to tell us now they cant do it. Two weeks for them to give us an answer and I still dont even have the estimate! Absolutely horrible customer service, especially because Rachel was so rude to me she almost swore over the phone! Mitch and Avery were wonderful for our office move! They were prompt, efficient, and professional. They had to make stops at two different storage facilities for us, and they were able to get only what we needed very quickly. They put everything where we asked them in the new office, and they moved some things again 2-3 times at our request cheerfully--no grumbling or eye-rolling at our indecisiveness! I have used Two Men and a Truck several times over the years, and I will certainly do so again if needed! The bill was even lower than estimated!

The two gentlemen were very professional and courteous. New place has narrow street and short driveway, so they parked by curb as to not block the street. They used their side door and got it quickly unloaded and placed for me. That evening, another family moved in across the way using a different mover who totally blocked the street, which caused some pretty irate tenants. They should have used Two Men & a Truck!!!!

I called and reserved my spot. Employee suggested I reserve two days because they were so busy at that time and I wasn’t 100% positive on my move date. Now they can’t help because she’s out on sick leave and she didn’t do her job and reserve the second date which is stil 13 days out. I’m now without movers. Not their fault because they sent me an email letter. I’m so frustrated!!!

Wife and I bought a new house and did not want to burden friends and family for the move. Plus... sometimes with friends and family ...chaos can ensue and we didn’t want anyone to get hurt moving our tv and sofas ect. That’s when we decided to call the professionals that know how to move things safely and efficiently.I researched as best I could. I have heard of horror story about shady movers ect. I landed on two men and a truck based on their reputation of quality service. THEY DELIVERED!!! Ben and Keaton were ours movers and they were amazing! I mean Moving is not fun but those two guys made the day...enjoyable?... That’s probably not the right word but what I mean to say is they were fun to talk to and Ben had a great sense of humor that made the day much more bearable. Keaton was a work horse (so was Ben) and I just have to say Ben’s ability to pack a truck would put a “Tetris” game master to shame with all the strategic placement.They were also great when it came time to tell me that I had underestimated just how many boxes I had told them (which became evident) as I looked in my garage and how the big truck slowly filled up to literally the brink. Two Men and a Truck may not be the cheapest movers but you get what you pay for (generally) and this was the case with them. Besides do you really want some amateurs moving all your life belongings???Such a great experience and money well spent!! We have really had a wonderful winter this year in Springfield. There were really only two separate weeks where we had bad weather. I enlisted the help of Two Men and a Truck to move my mom from one independent living facility in town to the new facility on East Sunshine in February. It has been lovely weather but of course a few days before our moving day we got snow and more snow and then some more snow. When I gave the office information about our furniture and what the movers would run into as far as moving mom, I explained that we were on the fourth floor of the first building and I explained that the facility always cleared the way so that the moving trucks could get right to the back door so that the movers could walk Right out the door of the building to their truck. That was what my quote was based on. However the Montclair did not have the snow plowed away from the door and the movers had to walk quite a distance in the snow to get to their truck, which added a great deal of time onto my job. Add to that, the facility only has two elevators and they required my movers to use only one of the elevators that would take them to the back door, so they would have to wait for that elevator and only that elevator, which wasted lots of time. On top of that, add to that a number of other residents were moving out on the same day so they were all waiting for the same elevator so my time was multiplied over and over again. All of this was unseen time which I could not anticipate when I talked to the office prior to hiring the movers, and it added several hundred dollars to my bill. I totally objected because I had no control over any of that. Neither did the moving company and they were very willing to compromise with me on the overcharge, which I thought was very nice and fair. The other issue of the day was that the person moving was my mother who is 95 years old and suffers from dementia. She can be very ornery and these young movers were the most compassionate, understanding, wonderful young men to have to deal with the stress of the type of day which I just explained and to deal with the added stress of having an unpleasant sometimes very rude woman give them a very hard time all day. And I was no help in that department because I was so stressed out over all of it that I too was very upset at times and they were so polite and so understanding that they deserve 150 gold stars. i’m very sure that they were physically and emotionally exhausted by the end of a very long and tiring day. This was the second time I have used this company and I would definitely continue to use this company because they went up and above for me and my mother and understood the circumstances under which we were working.

We had an unusual moving situation that involved 3 houses and an apartment. They coordinated everything and made it easy, everyone was moved in two days. They even made two stops at one location to switch out the washer and dryer. They disassembled and reassembled beds and made sure everything ended up in the correct rooms at each location. The office staff organized everything efficiently and the movers were careful with our belongings and polite. It was such a relief to have everything done quickly and easily. Thank you!

My son hired this business to move into his new home. He told the person over the phone he had things in a storage shed. That didn’t not get put on the estimate. Not thinking anything about it he hired them they showed up a little early which was great we showed them what we needed moved when he mentioned the storage shed he looked surprised the person in the office had left it off the estimate. The appliances were in the storage plus it was full of boxes and other things. Then he told my son if they loaded up everything we had the estimate would go from $400 to $1200. We decided to have them take the appliances and the beds all the big things from the house. We could haul the boxes ourselves. After loading up everything he told us it was going to be about $650.00. Which is still more that what the person in the office estimated in the beginning. Once they got to the new house they busted a hole in the deck with the refrigerator if you all would like a picture of It you I can email you one please send me an email for me to attach the pictures to. While getting the refrigerator in the put some dents and pretty big scratches in the front of it cracked some plastic guards on the front I can also send those too. The young men were nice and courteous. The apologized over and over for the misunderstanding about the Price of the quote. They didn’t look very professional. But, they were very polite.

I hired them to move my 3 bedroom home, they came at 8am which i thought was awesome then proceeded to tell me they would not move me due to dog hair and some dust is what they told me. I had asked if they could pack some things because Im disabled and cant do a lot. I was willing to pay the 150.00 an hour to have them pack 3 or 4 boxes. Im 100% offended and will never ask them for anything again

Kenny and Dante straight up made this move the easiest I have ever experienced, and that includes the time I moved to an apartment across the hallway. They emptied the second story apartment in about 2 hours, drove to location, and then unloaded everything in a little over an hour. It was so stress free. I dont think Ill ever be able to move without hiring movers ever again. Use the service these folks provide. You will not regret it.

Of all the moving companies I quoted, Two Men and a Truck were one of the most reasonably priced and I was not disappointed with the level of service I received. The team worked efficiently and meticulously to pack everything into the truck and then unload it at the new house in less time than originally quoted - and no, it did not feel as though they had rushed through the job just to get it done sooner. Large furniture was taken apart by the team, and put back together, as needed and furniture was wrapped for protection during the process. The quality and value I received was more than worth the price, which was also budget friendly. I will definitely use this company again if the need arises!

Two Men & a Truck moved our household furniture recently from Carthage, MO to Mammoth Spring, AR area and did an outstanding job. The two men were very courteous, professional, caring, careful, and very thorough. They loaded our furniture and belongings on a Friday and delivered it on Saturday. We were very happy with all that they did including weighing our load which ended up saving us money as our load weight ended up being a couple thousand pounds lighter than estimated. I purchased a large piece of furniture from an antique store and needed it transported to my home. I hired two men and a truck and was thoroughly pleased with the results. They were a little past the expected arrival time, but the job before had run long, so that is understandable. We had scheduled with a moving company we had used a year ago. They ditched us two different dates and times. Great experience. They showed up on time and loaded up the truck quickly. They were polite and professional. There was some difficulty putting the furniture in the new house because of a narrow hallway. They had to go through the long way and rearrange furniture as they went. Ours was a simple move. well except we wanted to swap out the range in our new home and replace it with my wifes flat top range from the old. It started early we are retired so that means 830AM. Christian and Mark arrived and started in padding and wrapping the range, following me to the old place, loading the other range and literally everything in the house. I was supposed to put the emergency box back in my car and leave the steam cleaner at the house. My bad.. But hey they were far to fast for me to keep up with them. Please note the rationalization and blame shifting. I had to stop at the store on the way to the new place and I found them socializing with my wife. You have to understand she is from Russia and if you enter the house you eat or you die(?) well at least offend her. I was quoted 3 hours and we were done in 2. Great bunch of people great service will recommend and use them in the future. If you find this review a bit tongue in cheek or spiced with remarks that seem a bit off. I work for a local non-profit, and I called Two Men and A Truck in a panic the day before I needed help picking up a large donation of desks from two different locations. The office was incredibly kind and set me up with a scheduled pickup and delivery for the next day in less than 15 minutes. The next day, the delivery team, Demetrius, James, and Cody were right on time and were incredibly helpful in organizing and packing up the donation. They were very professional, courteous, and worked insanely fast (I mean, SERIOUSLY CRAZY FAST!) to load all of our donations carefully. I had a bedroom set I bought in town, and due to nobody showing up to help me, I had to figure it out. I called 2 men and a truck. They were willing to come right out, but I set it up for next morning. The guys came, loaded up, and delivered as promised. They took great care of my items also, as promised.If ever I have something to move again, and Im sure I will, without a doubt Im calling 2 men and a truck, because we all know what its like to try and count on friends.On a side note:To the guys who moved my set......I ended up taking the crown molding piece off the large piece that would fit thru the door but wouldnt make the turn. This is the second move I have made with Two Men and a Truck, and the first in Springfield. I was pleased with the service I received. The two gents were professional and personable. I sold my home and they were suppose to move my contents out before closing. One of the movers claimed he found two fleas on his sock. I never saw the fleas and we went over what little carpet I have and no one found any fleas in my house. I have two cats that never go outside but I do treat for fleas in case we carry any in. They said I would have to reschedule after I flea bombed the house.Closing was next day I told them we had to get out today. Needless to say they left us in a real bind. I feel like they didnt like the sloped driveway they couldnt get their truck up and the stairs they were going to have to navigate my contents.

We have used them for two moves. The last one about 1 month ago. The moves went very well, my complaint is about the management. Our last move we lost a ladder. I called the office three times, and was told somebody would call me. Well I finally spoke to somebody in operations. He told me he would look into it and get back with me. It has been over two weeks and nothing. They seem to not be very good at calling back. This is unacceptable to me as a small business owner. I will not use them again even though the movers were very good. I dont know what happened to the ladder and that is not the big issue. Its the lack of management caring or concerned enough to call me back. I am moving my office next week and I will use another company. The girls I spoke to about my moves and left messages with were very pleasant also. It just seems to be a management issue.I am editing my review. The owner called and we had a good discussion about my experience. I believe he was sincere and concerned. And he was gracious and went out and bought a new ladder. I had the ladder within a few hours. The customer service by the owner was exactly as it should be. Thank you.

They did a good job.

Fast fast fast! These guys are fast i was expecting the move across town to take almost all day and they were done before noon! The only down side was a couple of things were broken on the other end but nothing of high value. Also both guys were super friendly and helpful with any questions. The pricing was on point and ended up being less than i was expecting. Thanks for the good service.

Kenny and Steven helped me move from Missouri to Arkansas. Couldnt have had a better duo. These guys were very punctual and had great attitudes. They made the move fun! Would highly recommend them and do business with Two Men and a Truck again.

They were fast, efficient, friendly, explained things as they went along, took great care NOT to damage anything, and we had fun throughout the whole move. Taylor at the office did a great job of making sure we had everything needed for a successful move. Alex and James R. moved furniture and appliances from fourth story apartment to the new house. They made sure to move items without damage and helped us determine what would fit where at the new place.

Excellent job on the hottest day of the year, (so far)! They arrived early, ready to work. Kenny (Stoner) and Jake were friendly, courteous, efficient, hard-working and very customer service oriented. They never took a break or slowed down, even in that terrible heat. My experience with Two Men and a Truck was awesome from start to finish. I highly recommend them.

I have used them in the past, the movers have always been excellent and done a great job. However, the last two times I have moved the office staff has been totally unresponsive. Several years ago I submitted info on the website and called the office, I was told someone would call me, no one did and I hired the competition. Recently time to move again. I submitted info on the website and a week later had not heard anything. I called the office in Springfield and again was told someone would call me. They did eventually call back, but by that time I had hired the competition again. The competition was able to get me booked in one phone call, and they had done excellent work in the past. So, if you can get them they are great. Best of luck though.

We have used Two Men and a Truck twice - once for a move from Michigan to Missouri and once locally within Springfield. They are quick, polite, professional and careful with possessions. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Spectacular service....they are professionals. I moved across country and moved in to a place and things went very wrong. I had to move out the next day, Demetrius and Cody were the movers and went above and beyond in handling things with such efficiency and care. I have worked with them two other times and am about to line them up again. They are consistent in top notch service. I cannot speak highly enough about them.
