This is my first time visiting this location, it clean, well organized staff is friendly and very helpful. I was able to find everything I needed. What a continual joyful experience to shop at all Earths Fare I have visited this far. Satisfied customer who would shop all here all the time. 👍🏾👍🏾

Tons of healthy food options. One of the better meat counters in the Nexton area. Some stuff is a little pricey but thats pretty standard with organic produce and whatnot.

My wife and I shopped at Earth Fare for the 1st time. We started eating healthy, and came to the deli. A young lady name Casey approached us, such amazing customer service. She everything that was in display in her department. We will definitely come back and shopping here because of her exceptional service, clean and healthy food. Thank you Casey. I would definitely keep her around. Shes a great asset.

It was a new introduction to a whole new world of sustainable foods. I found plenty of new and unique items that I have not come across elsewhere. The grocers will stock their shelves according to what its community eats or cooks. Today, I found that to be true. I picked up a few caved aged cheeses and cooking oils. I had their pizza at their deli and it was delicious! GREAT crust, aside and whole body cheese. The entire acquaintance was eye opening and shopping was a pleasure here.

We just went here 10/26/21 around 4pm and there was a guy and girl behind where you get smoothies/pizza. We were all standing waiting to order smoothies and they were just laughing & talking. I finally interrupted and asked for help to order and they said one more minute. Then proceeded to stand around and not help up. No lines or anything. Weirdest thing ever.

The Earth Fare in Summerville is always a great shopping experience. I like the feel of the store with natural light coming in and the overall positive vibes inside. Everything is clean and well organized to help you find exactly what you need. They have a great selection of many healthy items that you can choose from. Their meat, deli, and cafe section really stand out here. I like that they also have an area to sit and eat or do some work or have a business meeting if you need to do so. This is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries and food in the Summerville area and I always leave happy and with a full cart of healthy food and a smile.

Great selection of organic foods. Grass fed beef is amazing. Prices are hit or miss. I expect to pay more for some specialty and organic items, but if you do all of your shopping here it will cost an extra 15% or more. I like it better than Whole Foods and the prices are better than Whole Paycheck

Great selection of healthy, vegan, gluten free, low FODMAP, and eco-friendly food. Great place to shop if you have dietary restrictions, allergies, etc. and/or if you care about the planet!

Less help in the aisle than before. Pizza portion closes 1hr earlier Than advertised and they keep old pizza under the lamp. Other than that there’s nothing here that u can’t get at Whole Foods

I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask, so I cant! I walked in and all through the store. I spent 20 min shopping and even asked 2 employees for assistance which they gave freely while speaking to me less than 3 apart and never once mentioned needing a mask then to deny my purchase at checkout....this is crazy!! Their store has had me inside down every isle, so you better think twice before shopping there as I could have infected the whole store with Coodies!!! Stop the insanity!! N95 masks warning label states it doesnt protect you from viruses!!! Better call Ghostbusters to clean my Coodies!! Ive been a loyal customer of E.F., but now theyve lost my business for life.....bye bye Earth Fare.....what a shame!

We used to shop here frequently so we were thrilled when they partnered with Instacart for curbside pickup during these COVID times. However, their Instacart process/service/pick-up is a MESS. There’s no designated parking area for pick-up, it takes a good 10-15 minutes for someone to bring out groceries (even when the store is empty) and at times I’ve gotten home to realize they’ve given me someone else’s order. We’ve stopped trying and now just drive to Mt. P to do curbside at Whole Foods. It’s much less hassle. Such a shame - we live locally in Summerville and really do want to support EF.

Natural foods without the typical sugar added, processed, or artificially flavored products normally found in markets. A slightly higher price for drastically better quality food. They are able to process payments with Samsung pay.

The Whole Foods Market-wannabes. I saw another review that did not favor their fruit and vegetable department - theyre awful, cant manage this at all; they sold me moldy berries. I wont go back. Said they were going out of business, and re-opened in 3 months - retailer with no integrity. I found them rude and overpriced. Their bakery/pastries looked decent. One shoppers opinion.

Great lettuce and micro greens, good pizza deal on Fridays, good ground beef and chicken deal on Tuesdays

This is a good store. Im trying to be health conscious and I like this place theyre the only ones that carried my apples, milk, rice, and other groceries.Please dont close this one again.😅

My husband and I just moved here from Virginia, so this is my first time shopping at this store. I was very excited to find a health foods store that cares about where its products come from and the environmental impact that those products had.I personally dont care whether or not my food is organic, so the prices are a bit high for me, but because I dont live in the Midwest anymore where i pretty much knew where my food came from it does make me FEEL better about my choices in fruits, veggies, and meat/dairy.I will definitely have to adjust to the products available, and probably shop at a few different stores, but I do like this store overall.Really, my biggest frustration was that I have to pay $2 in an already expensive store for the glass bottles that milk comes in (not sure if this applies to other things I would usually buy, but only the future can tell). While I will get the money back if I bring the bottles in for recycling, I think it is a terrible way to entice people to buy glass vice plastic(especially because I had their milk brand delivered to my house in VA without the extra cost...). If I didnt care so much about trying to reduce my familys plastic use, I would have swapped them out.But, glass (unless it is a specific type like Pyrex) can be recycled indefinitely while plastic cannot...so I chose the glass. What Im saying is that this is a terrible incentive program to encourage people to make more environmentally conscious decisions. Maybe if the store didnt charge you extra for the glass and gave you points on their reward system that would be better?Unless I find another option (milk in glass is surprisingly hard to find) I will continue to shop here for specific products, but I wish they had a better recycling incentive.

A little pricey, but the selection of healthy and vegan foods is good. I shop here when I cant get my favorite products online or when I do not want to wait for delivery. I love that they have bulk bins for grains, beans, nuts, etc. The store is always clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful.

A great, smaller alternative to whole foods and other overpriced health food stores. They have great salad bar, hot food buffet, fresh sushi, and bakery selections. Employees are very friendly and helpful. You can also make your own organic peanut butter. Worth checking out.

Love the chicken curry salad at the deli. Staff could be a bit more urgent, but overall friendly.Clean and bright. Healthy and tasty, but very much like Whole Paycheck, I mean Whole Foods.

I love love love this grocery store. I love the fresh hot food its like Whole Foods on steroids but cheaper. Everything was great the checkout was great the food selection excellent the meats, were very very reasonably priced and excellent cuts. I will be shopping here all the time.

My absolute favorite store to go to when I need to go to a grocery store. They have quality items and a large selection of very healthy and very unique food choices. They have a very good pizza bar there as well. Its more on the New York style, which is not my favorite, but they make them fresh everyday and they use quality ingredients so it is very good.

Really cool grocery store with a lot of variety and quality items. The prices are pretty high though. A few supplements and all natural soaps here are $2-$10 cheaper on Amazon. I enjoy the olive and salad bar. Would recommend to those looking for organic and all natural options.

I have never had a issue with the staff I have had interaction with. With that said I feel since being a customer since day one the store has open I found it has gone down hill. Prices are up but products are not as fresh as they could be. I hope there is some change in some way to make it better.

Love the store! it has everything to help you be healthy and live a healthier life. I only wish that they had bulletproofs products... like Whole Food. as well as carrying good quality of meat and chicken like Whole Food to choose from.

I absolutely love how clean and organized everything is in this store every time that I go. Every thing always looks absolutely great. Theres no need to pick around the products to find the good ones. The staff and are always smiling and are very friendly and helpful. They really make shopping there a pleasure.

Prices, prices, prices. While I understand the economics of gluten free/vegetarian/vegan shopping, even their more commonplace items were 150 - 200% of prices at local groceries. The variety of dietetic foods is great, but not worth the extra cost on everything else.

Best place to get healthy groceries in SC (at least that Ive found so far). Watch the sales here and You can get some exceptional deals on high quality meat, fruit, veggies, and so much more. The employees here rock as well.

Normally Earth Fare in Summerville is my go to store. I truly love their products and many of their employees are just outstanding. I realize Thanksgiving is 9 days away but I have spent 50 minutes on hold trying to order a turkey. It shouldnt be that difficult to get someone to answer or have a recording to explain how backed up things are. I called Harris Teeter and my order was taken in approximately three minutes. I just dont get it and am pretty disapointed.

I was in the spice isle for the second time, a little confused about what I was looking for (cooking indian food for the first time). Jon was so helpful! He took the time to tell me all about indian spices, showed me the entire selection of other indian sauces (which I purchased 2 of) and also discussed side options. He was the best, thank you Jon!

I am so disappointed with the experience my sister had today. My niece was starting not to feel well and I referred them to this store to get some lemon, ginger, and echinacea juice for cold and flu. And one of their associates or security followed them all over the store! NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL! I don’t care if you have on a uniform from another grocery store or if you look like a bum! No one should be treated in that way! AND THEN TO TOP IT OFF, they want to believe that they were the only African Americans in the store shopping at the time....really guys!? I’m disappointed! I will no longer be shopping at this location! People go through great lengths for customer service so if I have to go with what I know I will start shopping at the one on James Island again! I dont do health food stores, but my wife does. She dragged me here and I ended up enjoying walking around. They have some good stuff, and the prices arent that much higher than a regular grocery store. The staff was also nice, and helpful.

I like the store for certain items. We all know that if we shop here we’re going to expect higher prices so that point is Null and void. I like the variety that there is in the wellness department, however the newest lady (older lady )that is working there right now is completely incompetent and unfriendly. sheCan’t even answer the simplest questions. Please bring back the girl with the long brown wavy hair, I forget her name but she is extremely helpful and nice. (Amy might be her name)

If you are looking for health food or have dietary issues this is the place to shop. They do not carry many other non healthy products. The real reason I went here was to purchase CBD oil...of which they had a couple of brands to choose from. The girl who was working that evening was very knowledgeable on the products... their strengths and how to use them.

One of the largest Earth Fares I have been to, with a wide selection of healthy foods! The goat cheese gouda was amazing and they had a wide variety of bulk grains as well as seafood and red meats. Their salad bar was quite extensive and the staff were all polite and good natured.

Ive shopped at Earth Fare for years in West Ashley. Im thrilled to have the Summerville store. Its small, convenient, well stocked and the employees are pleasant as well as helpful. I spend less money and less time shopping for the foods I love and enjoy.

Loving the selections of healthy foods they offer here! Lots of choices on just about everything! They even have fresh produce thats natural! A little pricey on some things. Reasonable pricing on most! Its a must see even for just a walk thru!

Its nice that Summerville has a good organic store. My only complaint is the Fresh Food Bar. Most of the food is great except for the pizza and meats. Pizzas that they had were burnt and the chicken as well and it was extremely dry. Vegetables were outstanding though.

Pretty expensive. Could probably get alot of this stuff online for cheaper, but it is nice to be able to run in somewhere local. Very bright, clean store with friendly, helpful staff. They currently are not able to process payments with the insert type chip credit/debit cards, so I hope your card reads well when you slide it, because they also dont have any plastic bags at checkout.

Many organic, real food options, clean, public restroom, deli counter but PRICEY. Super crowded parking lot and beware the numbskulls racing through the lot as a shortcut between Main St. and the Berlin Myers. Bulk selections of candies and grains and homemade soaps are my fave. Vast selection of Kombuchas, Wednesdays $5 sushi and daily soup and salad specials are a great lunch alternative to fast food.

Love the items sold here, the staff is mostly pleasant but not always knowledgable. The employees in individual departments have been great but cashiers are not very warm and the stock employees are slightly rude. Store is clean, stock is fantastic, a bit high priced but that is typical for a health store. They do have good sales. Its a nice place to shop.

Employees are kind and pleasant when you checkout or when you need help. Good selection of coffee and teas as well as a nice hot bar. Ample parking always.

I love earth fare, such a variety of choices and there are alot of samples to try things before you buy them. Its on the little expensive side but if you coupon you pay the same as you would anywhere. Its super clean and just a nice place to shop.

I like this store.Ive shopped here several times during my trips to the area, and never once have I been disappointed. Ive always been able to get just what I want, at prices Im willing to pay, and the staff have always been pleasant and attentive (in fact, when I needed help finding something during my last visit, the gentleman tending the meat department led me all the way to the front of the store, and with a smile). Another plus: the mens room has always been clean and cared-for, along with the rest of the facility. Ive never had any problems at this Earth Fare, and, once Im back in the area, Ill gladly return for some more healthy goodies.My sincere thanks goes out to all the good folks of this store. I am grateful for your service, and do not take it for granted -- how privileged I am, to partake in such a fine business!

Excellent choices of Organic and Natural food. They are the ONLY grocer in Columbia, South Carolina with true, organic, unadulterated Heavy Cream. If youre eating a Ketogenic diet you should use this in your Coffee. Nothing but pure cream.

I love this store! It is on the small side, but still has a good selection.Finding someone to help you can sometimes be a problem though. Maybe I have bad luck with it, I dont know. It seems that no matter who I ask to help me they dont work in the section I need (and the one they happen to be in at the time).The meat case guys are awesome though. They patiently wait for me to make up my mind, weigh several steaks until I find the size I want, and they will even wrap my purchases separately.I love their sales, especially on meat. They carry local coffee which is a plus, and are one of a handful of stores on this side of the river where I can find smoked mozzarella.

I wish I had an Earth Fare closer to my home. The meat & seafood selection are excellent. Sale prices helps make healthy eating affordable.

I was back in Summerville visiting family and was told this was the place to go to meet my food requirements. Very impressed with the selection and options. I am gluten free and was able to find an excellent selection of the options that I typically get at home in Hawaii. Prices were a bit high but worth it to get my needs.

Juice bar is a great option. The customer service at the juice bar is horrendous. I understand that exceptions occur, but this has been my experience consistently for close to a month. They should revisit customer service and take a cue from another reviewer- visit chick fil a. Or at least recruit your employees from them.

The store is clean, but I wasnt impressed with the fresh produce or the ready to eat fruit. The people were very nice.

I like the concept but I rather drive to Trader Joes and Whole Foods. I called to ask of they carried a specific product, to which I was told that they dont. I arrived at the store to.find exactly what I needed. I mean dont say that you dont carry a product if your too lazy to go and look for it. On another occasion I bought several products for my toddler and got home to see that they were dated from September of 2016. Im not impressed.

Went to the Meat market on Saturday the 12th of May 2018. I patiently waited on the staff to finish with a customer and when I was addressed the attendant asked me whats up? To this I responded may I have four of these? To which the attendant responded, what are these? I said oh Im sorry I thought you could see what I was pointing at. He pats his hand on the counter and says. You see this? Its called a counter and I cant see through it. I find this level of customer service unacceptable. I said ya know what just keep them. I then returned everything else I had picked up and went elsewhere to spend my money. I hope this young mans behavior is not representative of the stores future in regards to customer service. I tried to find a manager to speak with about the issue but the store seems to be understaffed in that area. Bottom line expect to be treated rudely when at the meat counter by their immature young male staff. Not all of them mind you just this one. But one bad apple......

Im sure earth fare is a nice place but their little hot bar is..well..not very tasty &over the top expensive..I know their food is organic & I dont mind paying a bit more for good food but they need to learn how to prepare it. People were very nice but having to take food to front cashiers then back to the back to eat it..well..I just wasnt very happy

I appreciate a grocery store which makes a conerted effort to carry only good healthy food and the customers health is more important than the bottom line. Also, I appreciate the wide assortment of organic foods, the ability to purchase in bulk, being able to sit down to a healthy meal, to acquire samples prior to purchase of some items, and to purchase meat as I did in years gone by, from a butcher who knows his product and cuts to the customers specifications.

OVERPRICED! I can literally buy the same stuff from Harris Teeter for almost half the price! These people are crooks. If they truly wanted you to be healthy, they wouldnt try and rip you off in the process. Wake up, Charleston.

The products at this Earth Fare at times dont appear to be as fresh or organic. When bringing the meats home take them out of the wrapping paper immediately.The Homestead lemonade is delicious.

Love, love, love the ready-made food and food bar. The store may be small but they pack so much goodness into it.

Awesome place to get organic, natural and healthy foods, vitamins, cosmetics, and beverages, etc. They have prepared cold & hot foods, soups & salad, pizza & burgers, etc. They have a variety of pastries, nuts, beans, I can go on & on, you have to visit, they also allow you to sample some of the items, you cant go wrong here, visit SOON.

We used to go to Earth Fare in Asheville NC and were so glad when one opened in Summerville. It can be pricey but its worth it. The meat and vegetables selections are fantastic and always fresh. The hot bar is great to.

For one everything is overpriced here and not worth it. I ordered red rice and it tasted old and the next day I had a stomach virus. My boyfriend got a red velvet cupcake from their bakery, which was STALE. If you go here don’t buy anything from their deli or bakery.
