Food lion on central ave is always so clean. And you never stand in lines long. They are always so friendly.

I, like shopping at Food Lion because they are well stocked with groceries and their Supermarket is very clean and follows COVID-19 safety protocols.☺️

Very nice food market! They have a wing-bar with sweet and sour, teriyaki, BBQ and plain! I didnt know what I wanted until I saw the wings! LoL! And they were Good! They have excellent BOGOs and the prices are not too shabby 😊

Hopefully they never change this store I love the way its run the prices and sales are pretty good especially in comparison to the nearby publix that seems to one to 2dollars more pr 15% higher on almost everything. I will never step foot in publix again food lion is more fair priced.

So I called the food lion on 78 an the guy answered the phone by saying yeah then was rude an not helpful at all then I called this one on central Ave an the lady was very professional an helpful she even took the time to go look for what I was asking about I dont know her name but it was yesterday afternoon so that being said I live by the one on 78 but I will be doing all my business with the one on central

The central ave summerville is my favorite store. Nice friendly atmosphere. I can tell the employees appreciate my business. And thats important to me.

Food Lion had good sales, somethings priced too high but they always have good deals...Customer Service was very friendly and fast. No waiting in LONG lines. I was even asked if I could find everything. That was appreciated to me. The quality is very good too. Im talking about Dole bananas for example. Not NASTY One bananas like at Walmart. Im planning on shopping there. You can also earn points for free items in the store.

Found everything I needed and when I asked for help there was no hesitation to help me and I even got a smile. That was a great shopping experience. Thank you Food Lion.

What is there to say? Theyre food lion. O.G. Food and grocery shopping center thats kept us supplies for decades. My recommendation isnt needed. But if it was. Id say its good lion. Go get some gum detoxify. Makes your mouth feel crazy brand new. Especially after eating pulled pork. Whaaa

The staff and crew here have gone above and beyond throughout the pandemic. Not only are they always friendly and helpful. Having small children there was a couple times I needed some emergency items and Food loin was the only store that was even open. Very grateful and appreciative especially to the employees you guys have helped people more than you realize. Thanks I feel like Food industries in retail should hear this more often.

Was fantastic thank you to the lovely light hearted lady on register #1 an her co workers store was clean an well stocked I imagine I will be shopping more here now that Walmart has went to all self check out I dont work for them .. its appreciate it to have baggers and checkers at the front of the store greeting people when they come in not heading them out and hurds of cattle. Food Lion on Central Avenue in Summerville is a reliable and dependable grocery store that has everything that you want and expect from a Food Lion. The store is well managed and I like the deli section here the most. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating when you need their assistance. I have enjoyed shopping here over the years.

Make sure you get yoiur Food Lion tag or card that they scan at the register. The BOGO items & sale prices on meats, and so many other variety of products makes it worth your while to go there b4 going to Walmart. Its always clean, well stocked, great customer service given with smiles from the time one walks in the door. Willing to assit workers throughout the store in all the ailes, meat dept., bakery, hot food section, even when directing one to the restroom. Love going here to this one on Central Ave., and when finished I like to drive to the end of the bldg. to go thru the Lil Caesars Pizza drive thru window to get a $5. to $8. pizza fixed my way. They are so quick, you are back on the road home b4 you know it. 😁

Nice and clean store. Kind and friendly employees. Prices are a bit high for me, but if you use the sales ad and take advantage of the deals they have them it is doable.

Absolutely wonderful store, they were so well staffed that they waited in front of their registers to allow you to see who was available to help you. Finding all the items was also extremely easy and they have so many good deals it would be difficult to not want to come back. Ended up making an extremely delicious pulled pork because of my last visit.

Food Lion needs to add a senior shopping day since they are taking over the majority of Bi-lo stores.

I LOVE Food Lion! Theyve really straightened up their stores in the last few years. Summerville, S.C.s Ms. Susie is a GREAT individual, and has been running the Central Avenue store for quite some time.

Alexandra Alex had exceptional superior customer service. She was as pleasant as she could be and actually made me smile after a stressful day. I love my Food Lion!! Thank you Alex, you rock!!!

The employees were nice. The store was not real busy so it was easy to shop and I was able to get in and out with ease.

Always have good prices

Besides being out of toilet paper, wipes, eggs and chicken because of C-19 plenty of cashiers open when I checked out. Friendly. 1 rant which is not Food Lions fault. Littering the entry were used hand wipes. There is a receptacle. FL did pick them up by the time I checked out. Shame on these people that throw trash on the ground.

Looking for a particular grocery product. Called 4 times. The 1st time someone picked up the receiver and then hung it backup. The next 3 calls, they didnt even bother to pick it up. If they are that eager to not do business, I will gladly oblige them .

No matter how much money you poured into revamping it. Pay your employees better and you might get better employees. Bring in carts from the parking lot, sweep the lot, take the trash away. Hire employees that dont grunt at you when you ask a question.

I often stop on my way home from church. Produce is fresh. That section is small, but I can find what I need. Many good prices on items I often buy. The sales are in line with grocery stores. Clerks helpful and efficient.

Employees not wearing face masks or improperly wearing them. There were shoppers not wearing face masks. I hate pointing out something so obvious but it is a pandemic and masks are required by city ordinance.

Well organized and the meat is kept at the right temperature. A smile is always given.

Food Lion is conveniently located near me and I have been shopping with them for some time now. I like their store brand items as well as the brand named items. I get to save money and always buy the things I need. Plenty of parking, handicap accessible.

Not a bad place to shop, its clean and all but they dont carry most of the brands I use. Everything seems to be their brand or generic. They do have good sales most of the time. I dont go there much anymore.

This Food Lion is spacious, and easy to shop. No massive crowds like the Publix further down the street. Great quality. Super values. Get the roasted chicken from the deli and the deli sliced ham off the bone!

The Food Lion in my area is well managed I shop there often. All Workers are polite and seem to enjoy their jobs . I passup three other grocery stores to get there.
