Consistently very good to excellent service. All techs are very skilled. Very clean and flexible scheduling. Lily did an exceptional job today on my gel pedi and dip manicure. She is very kind, patient and copied the picture flawlessly. Diana, the owner, is so nice as well!!

Although the quality & time invested in creating these nails were great, I booked an appointment for & asked in person for French ombré. This is what I got LOL. I’ve never seen French ombré nails look like these. Looks like an acrylic French manicure to me.

This was my first visit to cosmopolitan and it was excellent! The salon is very clean and they take covid protocols very seriously. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tee was also amazing! She did a great job on my dip manicure and was easy to talk too. I would recommend her for your next visit and recommend the salon in general. Thank you guys so much! I love my nails :)

The facility was absolutely beautiful. The nicest nail salon I have ever been in. Full of fresh air and lovely plants. My technician did an excellent job of giving me a great foot massage and manicure. The price for an hour long pedicure was extremely reasonable!. My feet look like they are bejeweled! The atmosphere was very pleasant, and I would definitely come back again! I highly recommend!

I came here to try this place out. I usually go to Syracuse Nails and Spa. Personally, I didn’t like the treatment Cosmos have towards young black women, I don’t value being rushed or treated with poor quality treatment because of my age. There are no trendy designs here and the cheap powder polish will eventually snap off in 3 days. I tried this place twice and from both experiences I received poor quality. I also don’t like the unprofessional employees asking for me to take free pictures for my Google review and to falsely lie about safe environmental practices. It is my job on Google to provide honest experiences. My nails are completely damaged and needed a month to recover, which is not normal. When it comes to cosmetics, I take great care. This is the perfect location for me. I bought a mascara that can be used for many purposes. Its a gorgeous pitch black color. It has the perfect recipe, which is neither too moist nor too dry, and it lasts a long time. Its incredible!

I see Thin every couple of weeks for dip nails. She is hilarious and fun to talk to. She always makes me feel special when I am there. Highly recommend Thin to all of my family and friends.

I LOVE this salon. The owners, Brian and Diana, are wonderful. I havent been there since before covid-19 but I am about to start going again for my manicures. I remember the last winter I went there, they gave me a loyal customer Christmas gift with some amazing lip balm/chapstick that Diana had created. Someone else on here said EmEm was not talkative but that has not been my experience at all! I love Em! She and I would always conspire over my nail designs and I loved how creative she is and would always be willing to try something new. She is fantastic to talk to. At one point she had left for school but I just found out she is back a few days a week and cant wait to see her again! This place is a great value, very friendly, just wonderful all around. I have only done manicures here--once I did get my hair cut but I personally didnt like it so since then I have just stuck to the dip powder manicures, which cant be beat!

The best dip manicure in Syracuse, period! It’s $32 and you can pay credit, cash, or Venmo. I go to Par and she always does an amaaaazing job. Their color selection is huge too. I’m very very picky about how my nails are done and I know I don’t have to worry about how they’ll turn out I go to Cosmopolitan. It’s a MUST!(This color is ANC 110)

BEWARE!!The worst manicure and pedicure. Polish all over my toes and left them looking really dried with dead skin. She did it in 1/2 hr.Powder Gel nail shapes were uneven. Told it would last 12-14 days and within 8 days, the gel was lifting off.Absolutely filthy with nail clippings all over the place, surfaces dirty. I only stayed because I was headed out of town the next day otherwise I would have left. Its not even worth to call and complain because theres so much wrong with the place, Ill never contact them again.

They need to be more friendly and be nicer with costumes

Honestly I don’t know why I haven’t posted sooner but this is my favorite Syracuse nail salon and I’ve been going here for years. I recommend it to anyone. They’re consistent, considerate, accommodating, and very quick to respond. I’ve gone to so many different people at this salon and really never been disappointed. Had dipping powder, gel, acrylics, special shapes (coffin/stiletto), and pedicures. Par did an amazing job last time ❤️

I have been getting my nails done for a few years now and this was the worst experience Ive had thus far. First off, the appointment felt rushed and as if they didnt have time for me (even though I scheduled it WEEKS in advance) and she yelled at me as well as took the sticks from my hands when I was taking too long to pick a color. The icing on the cake: one of the nails broke off within a week, when I wasnt doing anything with my hands that could possibly make them break. When I called and told them that this happened, they again wanted to squeeze me in and charge me $4 to fix it. Within three weeks, I was missing 4 nails. Dont go here!

My manicure was the worst ever. Every finger was bleeding from the filing. I sent pictures via fb message and never got a response. I had dip nails done and they are catching on everything. I wouldnt have given such an honest low rating if someone would have at least responded to my messages.

My nails are on point. The size, shape and colors are exactly as I requested. The music is relaxing. They have a wide range of colors. Tawkni did an amazing job, she is kind and let me know all the shapes and extra charges.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this salon. Prior to coming to this nail salon I went to a place that did walk ins only and it would take all day to get services. My friend recommended this nail salon to me. I made an appointment online and booked it completely wrong. When I arrived the receptionist let me know that I booked the appointment wrong HOWEVER, instead of being upset about it she showed me how to book correctly and STILL accommodated me. Every since then, I have been a faithful customer. I just love the atmosphere, the professionalism, and timeliness. Jing Jing is my nail technician and she is THE BEST!!! HIGHLY recommend this place.

Kieu is amazing. Its not easy to give a 5 year old a haircut. Somehow she was able to get my son to hold still the whole time and it looks super adorable. She has also done my hair, and wax. She is just simply the best.

I’m not sure why there are so many recent negative reviews about this salon, but my experience has been great every time I’ve went. They are a very busy salon so I recommend booking online through google and Itll makes the process much easier when you go in for your appointment. But I’ve never had a crazy long wait even if I don’t book in advance. Kashmir always gets my nails/toes exactly how I want them!! Definitely book with her if you can. Found my new favorite nail place in Syracuse!

A couple months ago I experienced horrible attitude, horrible customer service, bad quality in workmanship, and. it did not feel clean. I felt ignored and that I was bother to them. I was there for 45 minutes until they decided to pay attention to me and could not even perform the service I wanted. I did not appreciate that they spoke to me with an attitude after I had waited and been ignored, and just simply wanted to have a basic dip manicure that they perform on a daily basis. I am curious why they could not do it on me but could on everyone else and it made me feel very upset and targeted compared to other customers.

Absolutely recommend this nail shop. I’ve tried so many nail shops all over the city and this place was just right. Great customer service from every employee I came in contact with and Thanji did a perfect job on my mani and pedi!!

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and I love it so much! The people are always so nice and very helpful! Today I did something new though, I brought my 9 year old daughter who is speech delayed and has severe sensory issues and also has severe anxiety...they we’re all so amazing! They made my daughter relax and have fun and took extra steps to make her feel special! They were a great example of what it means to go the extra step and showed such compassion! It was a truly great experience and my daughter and I got to make more great memories together today because of them! If you need a amazing place to go to get your nails done, I can not recommend this business enough!☺️

I used to get acrylics and fills religiously every two weeks when living in Rochester. After moving back to Oswego I gave up.. the salons in town are awful. I came here on a whim one day because it was near my sisters house. I’ll be honest, it was a bit terrifying on the outside and I wasn’t sure I was in the right place. Upon opening the door revealed a huge beautiful salon. I’ve been here quite a few times since. I never make an appointment because I’m only ever in Syracuse for grad classes, and usually only get my nails done when they’re canceled last minute and such. They’ve always been super accommodating with me not having an appointment but I definitely suggest making one. They’re a super popular place and are always busy! Everyone is very professional... and one of my favorite aspects of this salon is the diversity and the kindness of all the techs. It’s really great. My nails are always beautiful and they have a fair selection of colors to chose from. In addition to nails, they also have a hair salon downstairs as well as body jewelry among other things for sale. Definitely recommend this place!

Thank you Kieu Tran for correcting a bad haircut I had done at supercuts where they blunt cut my curly hair and randomly hacked layers. Cosmopolitan corrected it and it came out amazing. Very clean establishment, professional, knowledgeable about different hair textures and friendly. All my future visits will be at Cosmopolitan.

I took off 4 stars because 4 of my nails fell off in less than a week. I wasn’t even doing anything - I just now was at breakfast with my family when one of the nails just fell off. They were nice and fixed two of them for free the other day but since then another two have fallen off. I have been getting acrylics for years and have never had this issue at any other place I’ve been too. I plan on going in for a refund and having the nails removed.

If you ask for Zing you will get the most beautiful and professional manicure ever. I get the ANC Dip and it lasts for weeks...luv it!

Though the place is very clean and for the most part the staff are friendly, every time I go to this salon I am charged for things that I did not ask for. Today I went to get an acrylic removal and regular paint which the sign said was $12. However when I was asked if I wanted a manicure as well, I said no, just the paint but the lady proceeded to do a manicure anyways and I ended up paying $27 total. I really wish these nail salons would stop doing that.

I absolutely loved this place. I went online and saw that it had a lot of good reviews because I wanted a new nail place. The inside is very big and spacious. They have tons of color choices. The woman who did my nails, Em, was super personable and nice. She did a great job with my nails and the woman who did my mothers nails. This is my new nail place. I look forward to going back!

I took my 4 yo granddaughter here for her 1st ever gel mani-pedi. The girl we had was newish but she gave my granddaughter the full salon spa treatment! She picked out her gold and pink glitter polish and she was so happy! Very clean spa and very friendly staff!! Would definitely recommend. Also, the prices are very fair!

First time here getting a haircut. I was looking for a new salon, and the girl who cut my hair was very friendly. I read other reviews saying there were some students still in training there, and felt like this may have been the case for me (which I was fine with). Despite the fact I did not get my hair washed (not sure whether they have a policy for the client to request it, Ive always had it washed when getting a cut without having to specifically ask) and the cut was barely 10 minutes long, I left a 25% tip and walked out with the thought of giving it another go (I especially wanted to try getting my nails done there too). However, when I got home and combed my hair, it was very uneven on both front sides, and I ended up cutting it myself (which is not good for your hair unless you have special shears). This may have been due to the fact that she didnt part my hair (or ask how I regularly part it after I took my ponytail down), and/or not washing my hair (which had product in it,and had been styled a few days prior). This is partially my fault, as I was distracted and did not think about it on the spot. Not sure if I would/should go back.Im giving a star because she was nice, and the price was alright, which is why I left a big tip.

I was there in preparation for my friends wedding and the manicurist was honest that the salon had very old (clumpy) polish. However, the manicurist did not know how to give a proper manicure and kept cutting the cuticle so short that it was painful, Additonally. her hand was very unsteady, and her lines for the french manicure were very uneven.

Just moved to this state and was very concerned about where I would find someone to care for my locs, after doing lots of research trying to find a place, I found this place and seeing one loc pic I thought Id give them a try. I called and made an appointment and I must say I wasnt disappointed, Ive had my share of bad experiences with hair salons but thank God this wasnt one, Christina did my hair and I was well pleased. I like the fact that she didnt put lots of products in my hair and after she styled it, it wasnt tight at all which is usually an issue for me, thank you Christina I was well pleased and happy with my hair and I also got compliments, I will definitely be back.

Very nice staff esp Brian, I got my gel manicure done Friday and by Sunday I noticed it was chipping off at the tips, they offered to re-do my gel at no charge few days later. Always able to get in. Easy communication and all the girls do a wonderful job esp Chin!

My nails look AMAZING!!! I used a Groupon deal I had bought, and they actually offer that deal every day!! $15 for a Shellac Manicure. All the ladies were wonderful and ChinChin did a great job on my nails. The hot towel at the end was a nice touch. I will definitely be going back.

I have only been to this salon once and I will never go back. I got a nail fungus on both of my big toes from a pedicure at this salon. My nails are totally destroyed at this point. This place is not sanitary.

They do nails (or ANC W TIP) OKAY. I say okay bc as far as the quality of their DIPPING POWDER goes it is top notch but my tips always started falling off and chipping after a week I tried a couple of times with a couple different technicians and still disappointed. They renovated recently and I was going to try again but went on their website to see they raised all their prices. I’m from NYC and the top salons where I got my tips would stay on fresh for a month And I payed $25-$30 the most so no a renovation doesn’t make the actual service any better or warrant a price spike they’re decent but not worth that much money. Just giving my honest opinion.UPDATE REVIEW IN RESPONSE TO YOUR VERY PASSIVE REPLY BRIAN:First of all, please do not get passive aggressive/snarky with me, thanking me for my honest opinion and then having the nerve to try to correct me 7 months after my review when you have replied to MANY OTHERS in the meantime is corny (what possessed you to come for me now, I do not know but allow me to correct YOU) when you can simply be honest because quite frankly, no matter what you say, I dont believe you!! And Im not going to sit here and list salons for you sir, you seem capable of using google, so go look it up, call, and ask around because there are many other private nail artists AND salons who do way better work even with regular polish that last WEEKS longer than anything I or any of my friends have gotten from your salon for a lower price and the ones who offer SIMILAR prices yes do WAY BETTER MUCH, MUCH, MUCH LONGER LASTING WORK. so YUP SORRY! Truth must sting. Also you seem to know know a lot about NYC which is funny because I have lived there all my life and went to more salons than I can ever count and been friends with many of my artists as well as ones from other salons throughout NYC and most of these ladies actually really enjoyed their workplace AND were making quite a GREAT LIVING WAGE (excuses, excuses) off yes their much lower prices and much more high quality work bc they were that good and had a lot of clients who invested in more expensive techniques, designs, etc. Trying to make yourself look better by assuming you know how salons work everywhere is also very corny. I was being honest and I gave you feedback on my experiences you could have thanked me and then kept it moving. Thanks.
