Shane knows what he is doing and has great, friendly customer service. He works on all types of bikes, including kids bikes. He was able to do same day service the day I was there. He definitely should be your first choice if you are looking for bike repair in Federal Way.

I have a bit of a 3-Star story to tell.I called in on the 3rd of July to ask about a specialty tire, a unique size for smaller bikes. At first, the owner was glad and willing to help. He said he didnt have that size, but that he would talk to his tire supplier. I sent some photos of the tire, with the correct size and dimensions listed in a message.I waited for a few days and checked in with a simple Any news on that tire? and got no response. I figured he was busy, so I waited several more days. in hopes of getting a response at some point.Its been 11 days since I first contacted the owner and I still have nothing to show for my patience.Im sure he does great work, but the owner hasnt been responsive, so Ill be taking my business elsewhere.Im sure his in-store service and in-person manner are very professional, but beware if you ever try to do anything over the phone with this company.PS: Also, if you look down at all the reviews, the owner Shane Penny has given himself a 5-Star rating, so- take that as you will.

My experience with the shop was absolutely fantastic! They repaired my bike, tuned it up nicely and even cleaned it for a fantastic price. Hands down the best bike shop experience Ive ever had, I wont be going anywhere else!

I had the pleasure of having this small business handle the repair of two bikes. This small family business was not only professional but he also stands behind his work. My repair was prompt and done correctly with a promise that if I had any further troubles he would be able to take care of it. Some of the other repair shops were rude and not willing to take time to make a new customer. Thank you sir and I appreciate your little helpers hard work also.

Shane at Penny bike is the best of the best when it comes to bicycle/mtb maintenance. Ill buy parts from shops around Tacoma and theyll offer to do the job themselves but i ALWAYS bring my bike to Shane. Have been for months now. Shane is always hooking me up, giving me tips and going above and beyond to surprise me every single time i go pick the bike up. Turn around time is typically really fast. Much faster than any shop around the Tacoma area. I appreciate everything youve done for me and i hope to continue to ride with ya man!
