First coming into Preferred Paint and Body I had no expectations, however, now i truly see what a local gem this business is! Efficient, fair, knowledgeable, and personable service! I loved the friendly and competent attitude both Marsha and Carl had when I originally walked in! They took my car in right away and less than 30 minutes later, my car was ready and looked great! Would easily recommend Preferred to any of my friends and will definitely come back for any other auto services I may need!

I had my first fender bender ever and was devastated. Came here and immediately knew my car was going to be ok in their magic hands. My experience here was absolutely amazing. Marsha is the sweetest! She was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process of getting my car fixed. They were incredibly fast, kept me up to date on what was being worked on, notified me of when the parts arrived, and worked around my schedule. They were also cheaper than other places and provided amazing quality! Did a fantastic job and now my car is looking brand new again! If you are in the Tallahassee area, 100% go to them. Where do I begin? Well, after being struck by a reckless driver after work on a Monday in my 4 DAY OLD CAR (19 Honda Civic Sport), I was super torn up! My car suffered extensive damage and the driver airbag deployed, so I figured it would be totaled. After having a previous Honda repaired by Preferred, there was no doubt about bringing my car to Preferred. Carl (owner) took one look at the accident photos and he stated we can repair that. I didnt believe it at first, but theyre the experts so why not?My car was towed to Preferred and it was a BIG job for them all! Preferred began working on my car quickly. It took a little more than a month for the repairs to be completed.... which is less time than I expected. A lot of Preferreds time was spent on getting things squared away with my insurance company.Long story short; I received my car and you cannot even tell that it was in an accident. Marcia is super sweet and all of the staff have great customer service skills. If youre not 100% happy with a repair, they will work with you until youre happy. I highly recommend their services, especially for Hondas and Acuras. My new car had a couple of scratches on it that I needed repair. They did a beautiful job on my car Also. before I got it back, they washed it and it shines better than when I first bought it three months ago. They even detailed the wheels. They were fast, efficient, reasonably priced and I highly recommend them for any body work.

Marsha and Carl are legit rock stars! Locally owned with the finest of care, they work hard to return your car as quickly as possible. They order parts fast and Marsha is a wonderful person to talk to. Ive unfortunately made more than one trip to their shop but both times I was convinced they were the best people for the job. One of the local gems in Tallahassee!

You will not find better hands to leave your car in than those of Preferred Paint & Body!!! They really care about the work they do, and it shows in the quality of service they provide. I truly have never met more genuinely kind people in a customer service position; it is easy to see how much they care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend!

I enjoyed the professional service. My vehicle was restored to showroom condition after being rear-ended by someone driving a Cadillac sedan (I owned a Mercedes E-Class). And the work was completed as quickly as possible. If you want to have your cars body work done at a cheap price with a matching paint job, too, you may not like Preferred. But if you want an excellent repair job and a great paint job, I highly recommend Carl and his team at Preferred!! Thanks for a great job!!

Ive taken my car to them 3 times now and each time they have provided excellent quality work and friendly service. They have also gone above and beyond each time doing things like painting an area on the underside of the car while doing an unrelated repair or helping with some work that was screwed by the previous owners shop.This most recent trip was a simple one to paint a spoiler cover, but once again I was greeted warmly and the work was done quickly and turned out perfectly. They even helped me with the tricky installation.I have been to many shops in many cities over the years, but I can say without hesitation that they are the best! Great service, quality, and on-time completion are all rarities on their own in this business, and they provide all three.

Really great auto and body shop. The owners have been there for over 40 years and they are experts in their work. The circumstances could have been better but my car ended up there after some moron pulled in front of me and totaled my car. Anyway, preferred paint and body shop are friendly folks and happy to help when your world has done a 360! Thanks.

I am a firm believer in good service. Preferred Paint and Body not only met my expectations, but they far exceeded them. Marcia was very friendly; shes a very sweet lady. She worked with me and my HORRIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY the entire way through. She dealt with them in a very professional manner, and even managed to have my car repaired very, very quickly. The rear bumper had to replaced, and the car looks as if it had never been in an accident. Honestly, I could not ask for a better quality service. I would give them six stars if possible. Honestly, I would refer any friend to this place.Also, NEVER GET DIRECT GENERAL CAR INSURANCE! Also known as Direct Auto Insurance, those guys are horrrrible. They raise your rates every six months no matter what, it is impossible to get in touch with an adjuster, and the way they handle claims is downright appalling. Preferred Paint and Body, however, is 100% excellence.

I would highly recommend Preferred Paint and Body shop. They are very professional, friendly and made the whole process so simple. They went and picked up the car at the towing company after my accident so I wouldnt get storing fees, worked with the persons insurance company that hit me and fixed my car like new. They were very conceintious and made sure everything looked right and was fixed right; I couldnt be happier. They worked with me so that I could have my car to go home over the holidays. The women that runs the office and answers the phone is so sweet, helpful and caring. I was 100% satisfied.

After bad dealings with another body shop in town, we were referred to Preferred Paint and Body. Marsha was very caring and friendly and knowledgeable. Preferred did excellent body work and managed to correct the mistakes of the previous shop. We are very grateful for the way they handled the situation and guidance they gave us. I will take all my vehicles here for body work in the future!

Been going there for over 20 years. Had minimal rearend damage ( mainly to rubber bumper). Estimate $2100. They seem to have become greedy, although very nice. Car ultimately repaired for unxer $400.00.

Preferred strives for perfection and that is why my family and I have been repeat customers for the past 12 years. I have had some serious damage to vehicles... most recently little Honda sportscar hit a large stag driving on I-75 at 75-80 mph - you can imagine how crippled the vehicle was and were very lucky no passengers were hurt... after Preferred performed their magic, the car looked and drove as good as new. I second all that previous posters have said about Marsha - she gives fantastic customer service and is such a sweet lady. I trust Preferred to do the job right and highly recommend them to anyone who wants the workmanship of true professionals (which I think is everyone!).
