A++ service and prices. Marcus was one of the most professional people that Ive work with at any tire store. I highly recommend this location. I needed tires for my truck and my wifes car. They delivered, not only did they get me what I was looking for they got me the best price out of four out tire place in town. They also got me in and out. Highly recommended them. Marcus will take excellent care of you.

I had a messed up rear rotor. This Pep Boys was able to fix it for a low price compared to other places in town. But, they said it would be done by Thursday afternoon and they finished Friday.

Had a flat tire and was taken in right away. The service was very fast and the employee who serviced us was very kind and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will definitely go back for any other car needs!

Absolutely do not take any vehicle here! Had them change lower a arms and ball joints. After they were done looked under the car still had the old ball joints! Had to fight with them and call corporate to get the ball joints changed. Now a few months later the ball joints are falling apart and theyre telling me $450 to fix it again! Also telling me the parts have lifetime warranty but their labor doesnt. Had over $1,400 in work done originally! Never use them for anything other than checking your tire pressure and that will definitely be done wrong too!

I graduated from Florida State this summer and through out my time in Tallahassee Pep Boys has been my go to car repair shop. I am an out-of-state student who shopped around multiple car repairs in the area when I first moved. None of which compare to the kind hearted and helpful nature of the members on this staff. They have taken care of me countless times over the years from fixing other shops mistakes to complementary services as a thank you for being a loyal customer. The best part is their services are quick. I usually get my car back between 45 mins to 2 hours. Thank you Pep Boys!!

Funny how God works. I ended up going to this pep boys because the one I was going to go to was closed at 6:00 and this one was open at 7:00 and I just wanted to drop my truck off. I dropped my truck off Tuesday night, they got everything done by mid Thursday a problem with my engine the problem with my alternator a problem with my battery, and my truck drives like a dream now. I went in having been completely irresponsible about my tires/brakes for the past couple of years.They replaced all of my rotors/pads/tires (Cooper) for $1190 including labor, and my 2002 V6 drives like a dang dream. There was another customer present seemingly trying to micro-manage the team lead, so team lead was not having a great day. All that being said, he dug for better deals on parts and gave me a Lyft back home so I can work, and back to Pep Boys so I could pay and pick up my car (I am basically around the corner).

The guys here helped me out to no end. They recommended me the right tires, got me a great price, and were extremely friendly about it.

It took 4.5 hours to get 4 tires changed. The cashier (T) lied to me over and over again and kept changing his answers instead of telling the truth, then threatened to make my prices higher because I was complaining (I was trying to understand why he didnt give me a 10% discount for a calendar I only bought because he said it would give me that discount). He seemed nice at first but was dishonest and entirely disrespectful. I dont like to deal with this kind of stuff, but I was in tears. Entirely unprofessional. This was my second time using Pep boys. The first time was awful as well. I will never use this company again. EVER.

I ordered some tires online for my car and set up an appointment to. have them installed. When my husband arrived he was told that our tires werent in stock. The person who helped him, whose name escapes me, was incredibly rude and offered little to no explanation.When my husband returned and told me what happened, I called the store. I know sometimes there are different sizes possible and wanted to see if there was something else that might fit the car. I talked to the same person my husband dd. He talked over me, was dismissive, and was rude. When I told him I wanted to cancel my order he told me he wasnt able to do that, only a manager could. When I asked when the manager would be back, he told me he was on vacation for two weeks.We called another company. Their sales guy was lovely. Weve purchased several things from Pep Boys in the past and wont give them our business again.

I have waited from 10 to 2pm and the only things needed to be done where oil change and a belt change they said the belt was no in stock in store so they send someone to get it and I have waited for 3 hours and he ahs not return with the belt to be put in the car. Not worth the time to come. This place was better before not anymore.

Work was pricey but my vehicle is fixed properly with a warranty on parts. Its worth it imo.

I took my car this morning because I wanted PepBoys to check on the battery. It turned out that in addition to the battery, my rear brakes needed work. I got great service from the Manager, Travis Harris. He made sure that everything was well taken care of within competitive prices and offered a ride to and from my house to pick up the car. Very satisfied with Travis and the service and I will return!

Go to any other tire shop or the pep boys up the road. Took my car in for 2 tires and an alignment, 6pm at night(we planned to just drop it off), the man there assures us itll only be 30-40 mins. We go get food, come back at 7, not done so we wait a little while longer. Were already there so we decide to just wait til its done. They finally bring the car around at 830, the mechanic says they still dont have it right, can we come back tomorrow. So we just leave the car with them overnight so they can work on it in the morning and we can get it after work. I call at 330 the following day to see if its done, they say theyre just now getting it on the lift. We end up finally getting the car after 5pm. Horrible service, 0/10. Go else where

Cant leave out Clint the District Manager, if you have any issue contact him, hell rectify any issue you may come across. These guys are awesome they do take care of their clients.. My turn signal went out being close by to Pep Boys I stopped in but they did not have the part it was a Factory part place did not look like before the virus had all kinds of stuff for automobiles you can walk in and pick up most anyting completely empty looks like they were either trying to move or trying to get back open wasnt convenient for me this time

Pep Boys were AMAZING. I had to bring my car in today after Roadside Assistance came to my rescue. He got my car started and then onto Pep Boys I went. They did such a great job on my car. Paid for a poor service and only paid to get my keys back. Brought in car for fuel and a vacuum line issue related to my brakes. Told them most likely the LPFP in the tank and was having issues with my brakes told me 100 for the diagnosis. Waited two days patiently to be told they didnt look at my vacuum issue which is engine related. When asking about a refund the manager was rude as he told me the work was done even though it wasn’t. The icing on the cake is when he told me they did their research on my car and that they would have to drop my tank to replace the pump after they removed my backseat to not find it there and proceeded to partially reinstall in. My pump is in the trunk behind the seat. A real mechanic would’ve confirmed the location which I did with google in less than 5 min. Refused to refund for poor service

Willis is an amazing representative. He was able to locate the correct light bulb (even though I provided the wrong year for the car) and install it in a matter of minutes. He also took the time to check and make sure the new bulb worked successfully. He is a pleasure to work with. I will consider making Pepboys my new service shop. Great Job whoever hired him!

I have CarShield and they were being a pain but Marcus went over and beyond in getting in contact with them. Had great service .

These guys were amazing for me! I got an oil change and they rotated my tires for free. They were nice enough to even clean my windshield and apply a water repellent solution on my front windshield. Absolutely stellar service! Would highly recommend them to anybody.

This location gives all the Pep Boys a bad name. They quoted me for a service one price and then they very next day, doubled the price ($1051) for the service. Thats the same price as the DEALER which Pep Boys are not! They not only attempted to over charge me, they broke my tail light while pushing my car into their garage and never mentioned it to me when I came to get my car towed to a much more inexpensive shop. The only way it was noticed was because the tow guy saw it before it was loaded it onto his flatbed. I then got an explanation as to how it occurred and how they were planning to secretly replace it along with the service that I WAS going to get from them. They basically were going to let my car get towed away from their shop without ever mentioning they broke my tail light, all so that they could play dumb after-the-fact and pretend it came in that way knowing d**n well it didnt. I would highly suggest going to the dealer if you are going to need anything other than an oil change from these people...and even the oil change prices you can get done at the dealer for the same price. Either that or be better off finding another shop that wont try to hustle you out of your money or break your s**t and not say anything. Then they had the nerve to want to price match once I told them I was coming to get my car and take it elsewhere. Some d**n nerve. Too late, youve lost a long-time customer with this nonsense and Ill be sure to spread the word!

Great service! We got stranded in Tallahassee with my wife and daughter when our car died late on a Sunday afternoon. Long story short, it wasnt a quick and easy fix, but Earl (service manager) and Jim (mechanic) were outstanding in letting me know what was going on and giving me options. They got it fixed and got us back on the road safely. Great guys and outstanding service! Will definitely use these guys again if needed when I am back in Tallahassee.

This is by far the best automobile service shop I have ever dealt with. They will take care of all of your automobile needs and have anything and everything you could think of. She has the best customer service of anyone I have ever encountered at ANY business I have ever been to. Pep boys, in general, is by far the best auto parts and auto service store currently available. This store is conveniently located off Apalachee parkway and easy to get to. The have a vast selection of auto parts as well the ability to perform routine maintenance or major repairs to all vehicles alike. The staff is the only downside to this store. Some of them are helpful but the rest of them act as if you are bothering them.

I SEARCHED THE WEB AND FOUND THAT PEP BOYS HAD THE BEST PRICE ON THE PART WE THOUGHT we needed. It worked out that we did not in fact need that part, so we took it back to the store, not only were we greeted and served with a smile when we purchased the part, we were treated with the same respect when we returned it! A pleasant surprise we were so pleased that we went ahead and purchased the items we needed for our next project from pep boys thanks parkway store!!!

I took my car in for a simple oil change while my car was in good running condition. found out I needed a little work done. I had the work done plus the oil change spending 1800 dollars. 2 days later my car wont even start and they want me to pay 2000 more dollars to fix something they couldve fixed the first time. 5 day before Christmas.

I love this Pep Boys location. Every time I visit this location to get my car serviced they are always so helpful. They always go above and beyond to make sure you receive the best customer service experience. I highly recommend this location!

Really great place and people. I was looking for 3 different radio items and everyone was looking for them for me and while talking to me and helping they also was talking and entertaining my 4 kids so that I was able to hear them talk. Thank you so much. Best help I have ever had.

Long story short, I arrived at this Pepboys location shortly after opening at around 7:30am, was given a timeframe of a 2 hour service for work that should not have been that difficult to complete, and did not receive my vehicle until after 3:00pm. Thats a 7 hour service with no logical explanation on why it took so long, and why I wasnt contacted during that time for any updates. The one-star was given for the discount they gave me, although it definitely doesnt make up for the serious lack of customer service.I went in for a maintenance check and to have my windshield fluid filled. I was the second person in the shop and I had showed up just after they opened around 7:30am. They showed me some of the parts that needed replacing which included a serpentine belt, alternator belt, axle shaft, cv axle, and tires. I initially declined the tires and anything related to them because I would rather have gone to my tire place to get them done, but was told they were having a sale for buy 3 get 1 free and since they stated it wouldnt take any more time to have them replaced with everything else, I figured why not since Im already here. I was told this would take about 2 hours.I went home to wait for the service to be done and made the mistake of not calling after 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours and so on. I finally called after theyd had my vehicle for 5 hours and was told that it would be another 45 minutes! There was NO explanation offered on why it wasnt done, why it would take longer, and zero apology. Well, the service did not take another 45 minutes, it took another 2 hours because I had called at 1:00pm and they didnt contact me again until almost 3:00pm.I arrived at the shop and, like a normal human being who appreciates customer service, kindly asked them why the service that was estimated to be 2 hours had turned into a 6-7 hour ordeal. The man at the register had no reasonable explanation besides Well, we did get busy after you left, so other than that, I dont really know. Granted, this person was not the same employee who originally gave me the timeframe earlier that day, but he was one of the few workers that had been there in the morning before I left so I thought maybe he would have an idea of what could have possibly created such a huge delay. Not so much.I basically told him it was a good thing I didnt have much planned that day (Saturday), but as a business, if you tell someone youre going to get a job done within a set amount of time, you should get it done within that amount of time. I would assume thats common sense. So, I left not a very satisfied customer and to top it all off, my front passenger side floor was somehow dirtied with leaves and muck which doesnt make sense because nobody had been in that seat since I had it detailed a week before and my drivers side was just as I had left it - clean. Safe to say I wont be coming back to this location.

Too busy to service my car with an appointment. With a 3 pm appointment, I was asked to leave my car overnight for a task that takes less than five minutes! Gave me a quote of $44 just to diagnose my check engine light. The location at 2984 Apalachee got me in the SAME DAY and diagnosed my engine light issues FREE OF CHARGE. Do yourself a favor and drive down the road to the 2984 location. Much better customer service and honesty!

Great honest service - my fiance and I have been using this Pep Boys since we started living in Tallahassee. They have never pushed unnecessary parts or services on us, and have always been very polite and helpful.The lady up front is very kind, and when I was replacing my tail lights in the parking lot, an employee who seemed to be going off on his lunch break came out to help me install them. Theyve also suggested a diagnostic and part replacement that ended up saving me a lot of money when I thought my alternator died.

The staff here are always very friendly, and its not an unpleasant environment to wait in. However, after being quoted outrageous prices for repairs (around $1000 for a serpentine belt, an oil pan gasket, and a couple filters), when I had only gone in for a cheap oil change, I decided to get a second opinion, and hopefully a cheaper price.I took my car to a local mechanic and was told that my engine was in pristine condition. My belt looked like new, there was nothing wrong with my oil pan, and my filters were relatively clean though theyd be a couple dollars to replace if I felt like it.I would really love to keep coming to Pep Boys for the cheap basic maintenance, but I cant understand why in the world you think your customers are stupid enough to fall for the phony salesman BS. There will always be more honest, more qualified, higher integrity businesses for me to give my money to. Chalk it up to the universe giving me an unpleasant reminder to shop local.

Had an issue with the alignment on my tires. Went to several locations until i stopped at pep boys. They got me in immediately and took great care of us. I bought my lifetime alignment with them now knowing that i will be taken care off.

Can you leave 0 stars? The guy running the service garage got an attitude with me when I came in. Then I complained and they apologized. So against my better judgement I left my truck to be serviced at 4 o clock. They said 1 to 1 and a half hours and it would be done. I came back at 6:30 and it still wasn’t done. They said they had 4 cars ahead of me and 1 mechanic who was on break. I needed my oil changed today bc I took off early to do so. They could have at least been honest about the time and I would have went somewhere else. Thanks Pep Boys for wasting my valuable time. I appreciate that. 👍🏻

Yesterday afternoon our Jeep broke down on the side of the Interstate on our way back from Orlando to Pensacola. Luckily Clint was able to help us out with parts and Carlton was a sweetheart and stayed over just so he could get us back on the road. That man was supposed to leave work at 5:00, but he stayed there so he could help our family out! That is true customer service. Today we received a phone call from these precious people making sure that we made it home okay and that are vehicle is running fine! This is a top-notch place and deserves more than five stars!

They have had my car for a week. I have received no phone calls nor notification. When I call they hang up on me every time. They put me on hold for ten minutes so I called from another phone and they answered that one. I was informed when I brought my vehicle in that they would work on it right away. After my fifth call I was told that they would work on it today. My car isnt even out of the shop and Im giving them this review. I will tow it somewhere else likely today.

They are very expensive. I had to go there for getting my car fixed and they quoted around 1200$ (after discount). Mine was used car and I decided to check with another car repairer. Surprisingly, the other repairer charged me only 700$.

Customer service was incredible. However, they had a sign Now Hiring. So did. They told me it could only be on line. So, again I did. Needless to say I am not the proper person for the job. So someone else got the exact same job I was applying for. Meanwhile I still remain unemployed.

I was stranded and needed a tire. I was told by another store to go to this one because they had my size there. I still had to make it to Jacksonville . They came out with a tire and told me they would be able to get it on for me . I sat there for around two + hours before they came out and said that they didnt have my size...I said you came out with it ..She informed me that it wasnt the right size. I wasted all that time. I was so mad. I found help with a 24 hour road side tire service who had the size I needed and it ended up being so much cheaper and they were very nice kind and helpful .

I brought my car in for AC issues and they said I had a leak and a broken compressor. I brought my car to Tire Kingdom for a second opinion and they realized my compressor was unplugged and found no leaks. What was originally a 2000 dollar bill became a 200 dollar bill. They also broke one of the plastic door lockers on my car.

Best tire prices in town. User friendly website to book appointment and pay for tires online. Use online quote sample to compare the in store fees. They tried to charge $25/tire for blanching when it was $10/tire online.

Very satisfied. Came in for an oil change and diagnostic on engine. Shun the mechanic came to me and explained what he had done and that the engine and transmission checked out fine. I just bought this truck used with over 300000 miles on it and was concerned there was a problem I didnt see. Not only is my mind more at ease now. I feel better about going on a long road trip. Sure it took a little bit. But you cant expect quality work to be done quickly.

My husband and I were travelling with our 2 year old son from Houston to Orlando and had a problem with our vehicle. We stopped at this Pep Boy location and were extremely satisfied with the service provided to us. In particular the service provided by Michael, Clint, and Rick. These 3 gentlemen, along with the lead mechanic (not sure of his name), provided exceptional service and even stayed well past closing time to make sure we were able to continue on with our trip as planned. Once the vehicle was fixed, Rick, who knew we were out of towners and just passing through, offered to lead us to the interstate to make sure we would have no problems finding our way. The employees at this Pep Boys go way above and beyond their call of duty and my family and I will forever be grateful to them for helping us out in our time of need!!! Recently I brought my car into pep boys for a tire alignment. During the course of service, they brought it to my attention that one of my front tires was a different size than the other three, causing the car to pull (the reason I was in for the alignment, in the first place). They let me know that I could bring the car back after fixing the tire issue (with the original tire shop where the problem originated) and have the car realigned under warranty (3 months), free of charge. After addressing the TIRE issue some 3 months later (Im a procrastinator -- but in my defense, the holidays were in the mix here!), I realized that I was 14 days outside of my alignment warranty. I went to pep boys anyway, hoping they may be able to help me and, sure enough, the manager on duty (Mr. Harden) was kind enough to honor the expired warranty on the spot. No questions asked. I will certainly be returning to this particular pep boys for future service needs as they are quite helpful and willing to go above and beyond for their customers. I always had great service when getting an oil change. I called to ask a question and the man that answered the phone was extremely rude. He would not allow me to finish my sentence. You do not know what a person need until you hear them out. They lost my business.

The service team here goes above and beyond! Kyrsten! is awesome, she called in early in the morning on her day off to get me a tire early the next morning bc I had to be somewhere in the afternoon. Never experienced service like that at a tire store. They just made me a permanent tire customer!

We ran in for a quick rear wiper blade and I was able to find it. The store looked really clean for an auto parts store. I think Ill have to visit here again for my car parts needs.

This place is probably safe enough for oil changes/new batteries but anything else is usually not worth it from my experience, you cant trust them on the diagnosis or price quotes. If you must go, always get a second opinion. Honestly I would recommend Jowers instead.

In December 2015 I took my vehicle to get an oil change here ONLY because I received a gift card for their services. My oil change took three hours because no one could get the oil cap back on. In turn, they did not charge me for the oil change and gave me a free oil change for my next visit (which is nice, Ill give them that). Sometime in 2016 I took my car back to them for another oil change. Despite it taking way too long considering I had an appointment scheduled in advance, it seemingly went fine. Fast forward to 2017 and I take my car to a different mechanic not affiliated with Pep Boys. They cannot get the oil cap OFF because it has been incorrectly threaded and forced back on. No one can unscrew it, and no man there can get it off. To get it off would mean they need to break it off and that could cost $400 since the oil pan would subsequently be damaged in the process. All I can surmise is that after the three hours of trying to get the oil cap on, Pep Boys employees forced the cap back on and did not notify me. This also lead me to believe that the last time I took my car in for an oil change they didnt even attempt to remove the oil cap since no one can get it off now and Pep Boys was the last place to see my vehicle the last several times I took it anywhere.

They were closed and I happened to pull up to the shop as the guys Clint and Earl (I think that was his name), were walking to their cars. My radiator hose blew so basically I was stranded until a towing truck came. They both were nice enough to offer to help me and fixed the problem until I was able to bring it in when they were opened again the next day to get a new hose. Thanks for the help! Others would have looked at me and no offered to help at all.

Had a broken hose on a Sunday while on a road trip. This Pep Boys got us in and out and did not try to sell us stuff we did not need.Great service.Great people.Nice work too.Thank you.

The first time, I came here I had a very bad experience, but since there are some new people here like Israel,the store manger. He did a awesome job of,getting me in and listening,,to my problems that I had. Thanks for a job well,done Israel..

Horrible service, and a scam. They claim to tell your what is wrong with your vehicle for 79.99 which Ill admit, seems a little crazy to be able to gauruntee that you can diagnose any problem in a vehicle for that low of a price. But they shouldnt advertise and agree to something they will not go through with, they ended up keeping my vehicle hostage, demanding I pay 900 dollars after replacing a bunch of parts that were already brand new. And charging me for labor for something that they later admitted they didnt actually do, but they insisted they spent way more hours diagnosing the problem in the first place then they charged me, but the diagnosis was supposed to be 79.99! SCAMMERS DO NOT GO HERE! Oh and to top it all off, although the technician and one of the managers were extremely nice and helpful, the one that I had to deal with the most, would be eating and talking to me with his mouth full of food. And he got called out about lying to me multiple times by his own employees right in front of the two of us, I to this day never recieved an apology.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always been pleased. But, this evening I noticed a leak in my tire that dropped my PSI enough to warrant concern. Called them 15 minutes before closing and asked if they could plug it. They said yes, I brought my Jeep in right before closing and they plugged the leak. To top it off they put it on the house.

They are overpriced. I got an estimate for a $181 battery, ended up that cheap battery wont work, I would have to get a $250 one (I dont think this is their fault, its probably Nissans fault)I went across the street to OReilly auto and get a battery installed for a total of less than $140.One guy on the sale floor was helpful and pleasant, but everyone else are just ... I dont know... not helpful, seriously, not even eye contact...

The appointment they gave me was at the same time they leave for the day. Why dont these people know their own business hours? And all of them were irritated and unpleasant. I understand being ready to leave after a long day, but Id hope theyd realize theyre not the only people that work long hours.

BE CAREFUL!! My 19 yr old daughter goes to FSU and has twice brought her car to Pep Boys and twice they have tried to overcharge her for a brake job. Both times I questioned the price and both times they were able to reduce the price. She will not be going there again.

I purchased tires there a few months ago and had very good service so I decided to go there for an oil change. I paid 67 bucks for a high millage oil change, tire rotation and complimentary vehicle inspection. Next day on my way home from work I notice the tire light is on. I go back and explain the situation. I asked the mechanic if tire pressure wasnt part of a rotation, he told me it some times gets over looked. Bull. When I complained to the manager she said she would talk to Jason about it.BAD DOG JASON!!!!! You just lost pep boys a customer.
