In every respect- best spot in town for anything vehicle related. Came in with a serious sidewall issue, problem was identified, diagnosed, and fixed in a matter of an hour. Was petrified of the bill, but was half as much as expected. Other tire shops give me a strange feeling. It was nothing but smiles and friendly words throughout from each of the staff. Service manager Todd was beyond knowledgeable and thorough, and Cody, my tech, was super hands on but gentle with my baby. Genuinely the best experience one could ask for- super transparent in every respect. 10/10. Give these boys some raises, corporate. Customer for life.

An amazing experience all around. They worked quick and efficiently. Very welcoming and were able to take my vehicle in on short notice. Will be coming back for all future oil changes and any other maintenance. I have always had good experiences with this location. They solved a persistent problem with shake that my main mechanic did not. I ordered a specific tire from their website, but they provided a superior tire at a lower cost because it was a better fit for my vehicle. They even pointed out a problematic oil leak coming from my valve covers to point out to my mechanic. Great experience all around!

I showed up at 4:35 in the rain on a Sunday with a screw in my tire and even though the shop was busy and they had cars on racks and lined up outside, Justin (the manager) made the effort to get his team to help me out so I wouldn’t have to deal with my tire going flat. Joseph got down on the ground, pulled the screw, plugged the hole and I was back in the road in 10 minutes. Great customer service! Justin was looking ahead to earning my business by treating me right on that rainy afternoon. I just moved back to Tallahassee and I have 3 vehicles and Justin just earned my exclusive business for tire service in Tallahassee.

Nothing like a flat tire on a Monday morning! I called Mavis right after they opened, and Todd went above and beyond to get me in right away, had the tire I needed in stock, and promised to have me to my next appointment on time. And he did it!!! And did it with a smile and friendly service! We’ve used this location before, and were very pleased. Excellent service at this location! Only tire place in town that stocked the 19” inch tire for Volvo XC90 t6. And they took care of my tire when it had a nail in it. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I will always take my car here for the amazing service and prices.:)

I needed to replace a tire. Pat at the Magnolia store was very helpful. He didnt have the size I needed but told me that he could have it in stock within a couple of days. He offered to send me to the Bannerman store where the tire was in stock, but it was 11 miles away. That worked for me -- Pat made the appointment for me. Very fast service for balancing 2 tires! I removed the tires at home and brought them to Mavis and the technician had me wait while he balanced both tires. He was very thorough in his explanation and showed me how the one tire was perfectly balanced already but the other one was out of balance. In and out in under 15 minutes at a VERY reasonable cost! Last week I took my vehicle into this location to have my tires rotated. After about two and a half hours my wife and I were called back into the service department by Todd the manager to show me my front brake pads were worn and the rotors were scarred. I told him I have noticed a shimmy when I braked but I thought it was due to my tires out of balance. I guess he thought he had a brake sale until I told him they did the brakes at this location less than 3 years prior, which carried a lifetime warranty. He said he couldnt replace the pads that day, as they were busy but could do the job some Thursday when they werent busy. Its been one week and no phone call from manager Todd. I guess my familys safetys is of no concern to the manager. Sending us off with brake pads that need to be replaced is dangerous. Also, after they rotated the tires, we went shopping across the street to Publix. When I got out of my vehicle I looked at all 4 tires and I could see the old weights were still on the rim and covered in black dirt. They didnt even balance the tires. I called the corporate office and they set me up to go to another location tomorrow to have the job done right. Terrible service at this location. My vehicle will need new tires soon. However, I wont be buying them at Mavis. ***UPDATE***As it turns out, this location never even rotated the tires after spending almost 3 hours there. I called the corporate office (number listed below by them) three times before I could get the district manager Larry to call back. Turns out he was in Tallahassee the entire time. I met him at another store yesterday to have my tires rotated and my brakes checked. Upon inspection, the pads didnt even need replacement. I was told by Larry, Todd is not a car guy and was relying on the tech that told him I needed a new brake job. One last item, Larry didnt seem to appreciate the fact that I spent between driving to two stores, time on the phone, and sitting at two locations took about 7 hours out of my life. Not to mention the gas going to the two locations. Honestly, this reminds of the news stories years ago when news crews would put a camera under the hood or under a car to see if the mechanic would actually do the work. This is not the way to treat a customer. Also, the response from their corporate office to contact them is laughable. I contacted them three times before I posted this review. They just added that to appear to the public that they were trying to help. One last item, even though they arent BBB members, they have an F rating with them. You only get an F rating if you have a large number of complaints.

I brought my car in because it was making a squeaking sound. I literally know nothing about cars, but Justin was incredibly nice and helped me to understand exactly what was wrong and how it needed to be repaired. The customer service was amazing. Highly recommend this shop, especially for the women who might be intimidated by bringing their car in for repairs.

Dropped my truck off at the bannerman Mavis location Saturday 6/19 for an alignment, I got a call a few hours later from Mavis telling me that both drag links and all my bearings needed to be replaced and that the parts without labor would be around $550 (Im assuming labor would end up doubling that price) I told them I would just come pick it up and to not do anything to it because I had my entire front end rebuilt in February of 2020 and I wanted to get a second opinion about their findings. Today 6/21 I took my truck to pattons alignment and told them what Mavis said and I left there paying $98 for a simple alignment, I got under the truck with them and they showed me no issues at all with any of the drag links or bearings besides pipe wrench marks on one of my drag links that looked like someone at Mavis had done in an attempt to adjust something. Now wouldnt you think if I disclosed what 1 company said that the other would jump all over it and replace those parts in a heartbeat? thats an easy sale made by the customer right there. The diagnosis and price difference is very unsettling and if I wouldnt have had my front end rebuilt last year I would probably have believed their diagnosis. From my recent experience with Mavis I cant help but feel that they are running a scam on people, very disappointing.

Awesome experience! Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Quick service -- they got me right in even though I was a walk in. My only suggestion is that it was quite warm in the waiting area -- probably due to sun coming in the large windows. I noticed there are sun shades installed (blocks sun but not vision) ... but for some reason they were not in use except on a few windows.

Went above and beyond with their help fixing my signal light. Stopped by my regular place first and they couldnt have cared less. Called Mavis and they told be to come right up. Was there less than 15 minutes! They are worth every star.

Overfilled the oil on my moms car and she drove all the way to new jersey and back not knowing any better. It was an inch over the fill line on the dip stick!My personal experience with this Mavis was also negative, albeit not enough to warrant a bad review. I took my car in for an alignment and rotation to fix a little wobble I had while driving and braking. Before performing what I requested, their mechanic calls me and tells me I needed new struts in the front (250 each) and new pads and rotors, which they didnt give me a quote for. I declined the work they recommended and when I got my car back with the work I had asked for, the issue had gone away. Brakes worked perfectly fine. 10,000 miles later the wobble is back and Im changing the rotors and pads, but I didnt need to have them done 10,000 miles ago.I tried to get more information from the guy at the front desk as to why they would recommend I get new struts as there was no fluid leaking and they seemed to be performing fine, and he basically told me that it was because my car was high mileage and they didnt know when they had last been replaced. 500$ is a lot of money for some people to be throwing at unneccessary repairs!

Took my expedition in to have some center caps replaced. The crew heard some noises as they pulled the truck in and proceeded to do an inspection that revealed two loose bolts securing the steering system to the truck. They immediately notified me and showed me the problem before they at no expense to me fixed the problem. Todd, Justin and Brandon are the utmost professionals and very possibly saved me from a catastrophic accident. I enthusiastically recommend the crew at Mavis at Bannerman for all your tire and related needs.

I was traveling solo from Florida to Virginia via Tallahassee, and when I left my Tallahassee hotel with 7 hours of driving ahead of me, a tire pressure alert warning appeared on my dash. I stopped at two other tire shops where I was ignored (and I could tell it would be a long wait) before I arrived at Mavis Tires in Bannerman. Todd immediately had me pull over to where the air machine is. He checked each tire and determined that one had lost pressure, and then he discovered a nail in it. (He also replaced all my valve stem caps!) He had a personable young technician patch my tire and I was on my way within an hour. Everyone I spoke to at this shop was so friendly. I was thrilled. I highly recommend this shop!

Out of the park. Awesome. Todd and Tommy took care of my F150 Lariat brakes at approx 107000 miles (my guess on mileage). Front passenger caliper sticking, Driver rear caliper sticking, Front and rear rotors warped, brake pads uneven. Bad sensor right rear. Brakes could have seized up at any time and caused a bad accident. Their work saved my life and possibly others on the road. Had no idea that the were in such bad shape other than a bad sensor warning ligh which wasn’t the real problem. Todd gave a great deal. He through in a new set of rear shocks, and didn’t charge me for brake flush or the tax. Result? Truck rides like brand new and gas mileage improving without the stuck caliper issues. Thanks Todd! Thanks Tommy! Mavis is my go to place from now on.
