Rick and his team always take great care of us and our vehicles. If they cant do the work, they recommend who can. They dont fake it, they have NEVER asked to do a wallet flush procedure on any of my vehicles. Unlike the dealer who tries every time. I highly recommend working with Rick and his team.

Would give 10 stars if I could! Great customer service! I am from GA and was stuck in Tallahassee because my car was not driving properly. I went to several auto shops and all of them said they couldn’t do anything for me and that I would have to wait a few days even after I explained I was not from the area and just needed to get back home. That’s when I found tire choice. Michael Gardner was very kind and understanding! He genuinely cared and made sure to get my car back into a drivable state. My daughter was almost half way to Gulf Shores Alabama traveling from the Tampa Bay Area of Florida last week when a trucker flashed his lights and blew his horn at her pointing to the tires on her car. As a recent graduate, this was her first solo long distance driving trip. She called me with that concerned voice that only a parent could detect and I directed her to the next major exit. She said there was a small vibration coming from one of the front tires, but couldnt tell which one. I looked up tire companies in her area, just north of Tallahassee, FL. I found Tire Choice Auto Service Centers and call them. Mike Gardner picked up the phone and I explained my situation. I also explained that this is very special cargo to me and I needed him to be my eyes once she got there. (Moms & Dads reading this get me right now). He said he totally understood and that he would inspect the tires right away as they were closing in 20 minutes. He also said that he would be sure to make her feel safe and comfortable. I thanked him and I told him to call me immediately with the diagnosis. Turned out to be tread separation on the passenger side front tire. He made the recommendation and did his best to sharpen the pencil on the price as this was a very unexpected expense. They installed the new and removed the old quickly and professionally. Within no time, she was back on the road. Its one thing to do good work and provide professional customer service, its another thing to go Above & Beyond a job description to empathize with a concerned father and reassure a frazzled teen. Thats huge in my book and thats also why Im throwing a big recommendation to visit Mike Gardner at Tire Choice Auto Service Centers in north Tallahassee Florida.

Friendly, honest staff and prompt service! Came in last weekend for a few different services— oil change, new tires, and a diagnostic for my check engine light (turned out to be transmission issues that need to be fixed by the dealership since my car is still under warranty). They didn’t have the tires my car needed in stock, but they ordered them for me and they came in a few days later. Rick provided excellent communication and set up an appointment for me to come back to have them put on. I was in and out today in 45 minutes, which I appreciate as a busy working mom! Prices were very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back— thank you!

Personally, I would not recommend this repair shop. For little things like an oil change maybe but in regard to repairs, no. I went in for an oil change and explained to one of the technicians that I tend to hear a noise when I break so Id like for them to look at my brakes and tell me if I need to change them. Nonetheless he agreed that I had to change them so I decided to have them do the brakes. After the service was done and I drove off and I realized that the noise was WORSE than before I had it serviced by Tire Choice. I called the next day and notified the individual in the shop that recommended the service and he stated that the noise has to do with an axial issue but it is safe to drive, dont worry about it. With this information, I took the car over to somewhere else and have them check it out. After the other place checked it out they stated that the job was not fully done correctly and thats why the noise got worse and that the parts they used were not the best quality for my car. After getting the brakes done at the other place I no longer hear any noice. Moral of the story, I would not recommend this place for brake repair or anything. maybe something simple. Basically wasted $400+ at Tire Choice just to have it redone a month later at Toyota Legacy.

Ive been a customer at Tire Choice/Goodyear since 2004. Theyve always given me great service. Ive had three cars they have serviced for me plus my familys cars when they are in town and they were always great and friendly. I always get straight up advice on my car and they let me decide how I want to handle it. No sugarcoating or BS to sell me something. If they think a repair could be under a manufacturers warranty, they will tell you so you can decide if you want to go to the dealer or pay them to fix it. I really appreciate that. As long as Im in Tallahassee, they will always service my cars and have my business.

I had an absolute wonderful experience at The Tire Choice. Scott and Rick provided me with excellent customer service. I came in thinking I was going to have to replace 2 tires on my car, but left with a simple patch job instead. They could have sold me the tires I THOUGHT I needed, but instead, they sold me on a cheaper and more viable option best suited for my needs. It’s so great to know that there are honest and kind members of our community who have your best interest at heart. I highly recommend this business and will definitely be back in the future!

Love this place. I bring both of my cars here for routine oil changes and any additional maintenance that they need. Tire Choice does price matching so even if I find a cheaper estimate for a repair elsewhere, I still bring my car here every time because their service is always phenomenal. Yesterday I brought my car in for an oil change and they informed me that my front brakes needed to be replaced so I had them do that as well. After I left they felt spongy so I brought it back and they solved the issue by replacing the brake pads again and gave me new rotors free of charge. I dont know of another place in town that would do that. Definitely would recommend this place.

Today I visited TC on NE capital circle, Talla. and was greeted quickly by the manager Rick S. He was very professional from giving me a quote to waiting until work was completed. He actually went outside to talk to his master mechanic so there wouldnt be any surprises. They started the Job at 4pm and completed by 445. Best news was that he reduced the invoice because it took less time without me even asking. Two other dealers stated it would take 1.5 hours. I will continue to take my cars for tires and repairs to TC as long as Rick is the manager.Mark Carr CPA

I was able to leave my car there over night and they were able to look at it first thing in the morning. They responded quickly and were super helpful and extremely accommodating. Rick was fantastic! He took a situation that was initially frustrating and completely turned it around. We had dealt with an employee (former employee) that was less than helpful and did not provide the type of service we expected. Rick got in touch with us and made it right. I have been to this shop a few times. The first few times were very inexpensive trips involving tire balancing and other small things. I was impressed at how they described what they did and explained the reasons that I was having mechanical issues in the first place. Most recent total brake replacement was almost $1600. This included all pads, all rotors, and all calipers. Less expensive than the local dealer and they used better parts which is much needed for our Super Duty series truck pulling a 10,500 pound trailer. The brake flush was also included in the service which is crucial and something many shops dont emphasize nearly enough. I have come to trust this shop over the past year and am impressed with how thorough they are with repairs. Their labor rates are more than fair and they insist on using premium parts so they can confidently warranty the work. Really nice to tap the brake pedal now and not feel a severe vibration along with the anxiety of the being launched out of the seat if I have to brake hard at highway speeds. By the way, I did not have an appointment that day but they worked me in and I was back on the road that same day. Highly recommend McGee Tire/Tire Choice.

I entered this store as a 1st time customer but left feeling like a customer for life. The store manager(Rick) went over and beyond the call of duty with my Hummer H2. They treat and talk to you like family and even shared their lunch (Pizza) with customers. The store manager talks to you with experience and professionalism even the staff looked happy. I really like the Tire Choice Team they really took a personal interest in my truck and explained to me everything that was going to need to be done... and what problems I might have with something that I hadnt even noticed like the blower motor and the gaskets seals that were in terrible shape and causing leaks. Nobodys done that for me before they have the best mechanic Ive ever seen.I was hesitant to use this service but they provided first class experience! Ive gone to The Tire Choice & Total Car Care from before it was The Tire Choice & Total Car Care. Back in the day it was McGee Tire; I was forlorn when they went corporate. Ive seen that happen before, the original namesake sells to a corporate entity and invariably dictums from some corporate overlord driven by algorithmic profit boosting schemes kill the desire to maintain a favorable reputation in town. This store has not let that happen. Theyre still proper in their service and do fine work. Theyll hook you up, go see them.

After acquiring a flat tire from my drive from Pensacola to Tampa and being 400 miles from home, two failed attempts to repair said tire at other name brand shops, these guys saved my day!!! They knew I was 400 miles from home, had to stay overnight just to get off the road and was completely out of options. They had me in and out within 20 minutes and didnt want to charge me, not saying thats the norm but they knew what I had just went through and how stressed I was. As a woman traveling by herself (Im using my husbands account) this meant so much to me! I cannot thank you guys enough and I wish I knew all your names but only Rob is coming to mind.

They took care of my needs in a timely and professional manner. They took the time to talk me through all my work so I understood what was going on and what I was paying for. They had me on the road in a reasonable time frame and for a reasonable cost. So far I am happy working with them and look forward to working with them again.

My 06 Ford Focus had the check engine light come on, brought it here to have it looked at. My map sensor had to be replaced, which took a few hours, but they let me know up front how much it would cost and how long I would have to wait. The part arrived quickly, everyone was friendly, and they even stayed open a few minutes late when I called to say I would be late to pick up my car. Even with a last minute oil change added in they were still under the original quote. Awesome! Will definitely be back.

Took this place a whole 24 hours just to do a simple oil change. Kept my vehicle overnight even though I dropped it off 2pm previous day. I will never bring my vehicle back here ever. Poor customer satisfaction

Their oil change prices are UNREMARKABLE and customer service is EXCELLENT! They never try to up-charge or provide services you do not need which means a lot considering I am a female and most Auto Service Centers will try to get over on you.

I had an Emergency about 3:30am, my tire went flat. I had to call Uber for another Emergency in Tampa FL. I left my car at tire choice. When I arrived in Tampa Fla, I was able to call them & tell them what happened. They fixed my tire & had it ready when I arrived on Monday morning. Thanks to them. They helped me out.

I brought in my F-16 Fighting Falcon for an intermittent issue with the afterburner ignition. Rick told me they dont usually deal with weapons grade aircraft but he was nice enough to get me with a tech who took a look at it for me and ended up getting my bird patched up at a great price.

I felt so cheated at this place today.$122 diagnosis for a bad radiator, more than a hour wait and the store was very slow on a Saturday morning. Here is the kicker, the $122 is in addition to the repair cost.To replace a 2007 car radiator, they told me it costs more than $1300. I had no concept of how much it should cost, but I know I couldnt afford it. so I called another repair shop, they quoted $400. And I paid $400 plus tax.I am done with this shop. I wouldnt even come for an oil change. I dont trust them anymore. I felt so cheated today.

I have been to multiple shops around town, to get my tires looked at and have been giving the wrong info and spent money on things that I didnt need. As a final shot at trying to fix the problem I googled these guys. Not only did they find the problem, they took time to explain. I am now a regular customer. They are reasonable and friendly.

My wife brought her vehicle in last week for a oil change while I was out of town. I am very thankful to the guys in the store they thoroughly explained the condition of her vehicle to her, and were able to address a problem with her brakes before it became a safety issue. After receiving terrible service at another auto service center in town, I contact Scott at McGees and he was beyond helpful!! There was a screw in one of my tires and another auto service center told me it wasnt repairable and that I would need a new tire. Went to McGees for a second opinion and they assured me it was repairable and did the repair in less than 30 minutes, not to mention for FREE! I had such a wonderful experience here, I will definitely be returning for any tire/maintenance needs!!

We were traveling from Orlando to Oklahoma when we got a piece of road debris in our tire. We called several tire shops and all the others were closed or didnt carry our size tire. P235-50-R18 pretty common size. We called The Tire Choice (McGee Tire) and Scott Holloway and his crew were very friendly, helpful, and quick to get us back on the road. If youre traveling through Tallahassee and need auto service or a tire this is the place ro go.

Shop very well equipped with wide variety of tools, vehicles usually come in and leave repaired and in very reliable shape within the same day, Travis stayed late and worked with me and was extremely insightful and helpful.

Recently had a caliper go bad on a brake job they performed 12 months ago. They said they would warranty it out however I still had to pay $215 for labor. This bill was generated as a result of a faulty part and I felt it was unjust. I have been going there for years since they were McGee Tires and have been disappointed since the transition to TireChoice...I will be finding a new local place to continue my business with. Sorry guys, youre just out to make money for corporate now. Youve lost my trust that you will do the right thing in the future and therefore my dollars will go elsewhere.
