Jud and Don were great to work with. This shop was recommended to us by Discount Tire on Killearn Center Blvd (also a great shop). We let Don know we had just bought the vehicle and needed to get some things looked at. They preformed a “travel inspection” and looked over everything for us. They were honest about services that had already been preformed and we truly feel like they only did what was necessary to get the car running in tip top shape so as not to rip us off. They even fit us in when they didn’t have any appointments available because they knew we’d be going out of town and wanted to make sure the car would run safely for us on our trip. It was our first time in but it won’t be our last and we’d trust any of our vehicles to them. Great communication, on time services and thorough inspection and it’s no wonder they have so many other great reviews! Thanks guys!

This place is great. I recently switched from the mechanic I used for a decade and after my second visit I felt a part of the family. They have coupons online most of the time to help save some money. The staff told me exactly what was wrong and what was worth fixing and what could wait. They definitely are in the business of building long term relationships instead of ripping people off. I highly recommend them!

This was my first time at Auto Xperts, and I was overall very pleased with my service on my Honda Civic. You do have to make an appointment, which Im not used to doing with just getting an oil change, BUT I would have to say that it was worth having to wait a little longer. Everyone was courteous and professional and seemed knowledgeable, and it was cheaper than Take 5 by a lot. I got a full synthetic oil change for $60 while I have always chosen to get semi-synthetic at Take 5 (~$65) because the full was prohibitively expensive.

The guys are the best. Ive been coming to them for years. they are very honest, personable, fast with quality work. I would never go any where else!. just try them once and youll never go anywhere else

Took my truck in for a big power steering leak. Other shops were hesitant to work on it and diagnose it. (No idea why). Auto Xperts took it in on a Monday, replaced a broken hose, drive belt, steering rack, and flushed the transmission and it was done by Wednesday morning. To me, that is pretty dang quick. Yeah, it wasnt a cheap fix, but I wasnt expecting it to be. The truck is a daily driver so it needs to be reliable and they made sure it is. If my truck needs repairs in the future, Ill have it back there in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!

Went in to have my car checked up before I left town for a long trip. Had all four tires replaced and a few other minor fixes. Decent service. Unfortunately, within 50 miles one of the tires was unfit to drive and the spare needed to be put on. I had to buy another new tire from put of town and bring my car back later to get a replacement tire. I got the tire replaced and made it about 300 miles on it before the replaced tire went flat and is destroyed. I had to buy a second new tire out of town to get my car moving again. Unfortunately I have had to spend an extra $300+ on tires after having all 4 replaced. No issues with the two tires I bought out of town and no issues in the wheel well, leaving me to believe there was an issue with the two tires from Auto Xperts. I am no longer in Tallahassee and they have said they cant help because of that.

When you are searching for a service industry especially automotive it can be aggravating trying to get good honest service at an affordable price. We were fortunate enough to trust these people with our cars( both cars had A/C problems a year apart) and to their credit they identified the problem quickly and honestly and delivered our vehicles back ASAP fixed the first time. Honest, dependable and affordable is how I would describe these guys. Thank you. Before you take your car to a dealership for repair bring it here first.

Went in for seized Water pump replacement as pulleys sheared bolts and oil leak issue. Initially, they stated the Valve Cover gasket and also a couple seals behind timing belt and cover needed to be replaced. Once they were in, they discovered the timing belt and seals were fine and did not need to be replaced. Their honesty saved me a few hundred dollars. I will be back! Thanks for your service!

I will not be back. First I was never given any pricing for anything. Second I was over charged for labor. If I was only charged for a 1/6 of an hour, which is all it took for the swap that I could have done if I was told they were going to charge me that much, was $42, There is no way labor costs 240/hr. And when confronted about it was told oh we were going to charge you for a 1/4 of an hour but only charged you for the 1/6 and that labor is over 100/hr. Someone obviously doesnt know how to do math and was pulling a fast one. That is ok, am disputing it with my credit card company. If someone calls you need to be upfront about costs, especially when you are charging $70 just to diagnose it but do nothing but read the code.

I took my vehicle for inspection of a problem noise I was having to see if they could diagnose it. They were right on spot with the diagnosis and their repair costs were reasonable, and after getting several estimates, I decided to let them do the repair because #1 they came recommended by a family member and #2 their cost for repair was reasonable saving me around $200.

They took me with short notice and had my vehicle done in a very short time and diddnt charge a lot to do a total wheel alignment. I am quite happy with how Auto Xperts did

This was my first experience at Auto Xperts. They diagnosed and prevented a much more costly repair. Their price was in the middle of the range of pricing for the same repair online . They were able to take care of the repairs the same day, which I really appreciated. They were personable and professional. They provided transportation home and back to pick my car up, which was a huge plus for me. I recommend and will use them again.

I have a drivers side window that wont roll up but I had it up thank God when I took it in to have something else fixed. Unfortunately somebody rolled down the window and now I cant get it back up. And when I tried to I reimbursed my lower back and now the rain can get inside until I can get it fixed. I know they didnt know the issue with the window. And service has been great otherwise. Just frustrating.

I took my car there for a pre-purchase inspection because there was a leak in the car and airbag light one for sure to check out whats exactly wrong and approx how much would it cost me to get it fixed. I took an appointment and went there and for sure they were running behind and instead of taking an hour they called me 3.5 hrs after they finished. and the report saying that the car has a major leak and airbag light is on which I already knew that but no further evaluation or at least to let me know where is the leak coming from. I paid approx $55 to technically get nothing out of this and when I was picking up the car the owner/mechanic of course didnt have time to speak to me and let the secretary to speak to me and she promised I am going to get a call back from him before they close for the day and of course never did. Anyways I am not satisfied at all and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone and not planning to get service there anymore.

It’s not every day you meet someone who is generally interested in educating the customer. These people understand that educated customers are GOOD customers. After they fixed the car, I received a 15-20 lesson on the issues with my car, how to avoid them, and what to look/listen for when it’s acting up. I greatly appreciated the curtesy of these folks and definitely recommend anyone in Tallahassee to check them out.

They have always been kind with great service. They may not always be the cheapest but they are competitive in their pricing and have always gone out of their way to help me. I often see the owner at this location (nice to know he keeps in touch with the every day work). He is friendly and approachable. I love the manager, Booth who always greets me with a smile! And as a woman, Ive never felt that they talk down to me. Ive brought in a series of cars needing extensive service (I bought them used with this in mind) and they are great of helping determine priorities and giving an estimate to slowly bring them back to full service. Ive also referred family and coworkers to them for service. Thank you for the wonderful service! (PS. If you use them, you also get promotional postcards with discounts on future service mailed to your home. I love these and have saved a good bit on services by using them.)

I came here for my cars Allignament to be fixed, and I was extremely happy with the job that was done. They took their time with my car making sure it was done correctly. It took them sometime to finish, they test drove my car twice to ensure the job was done correctly. They were rather cheaper than I expected, by a few hundred dollars. I personally appreciated the fact they did not try to sell me anything else, and explained the issues my car was having, and future issues to look out for. I definitely recommend coming here for car maintenance.

Superb service, excellently and quickly done, and at a surprisingly low price — about half the dealer labor rate. My issue was the replacement of a failed electronic/display-screen unit. I probably got a little lucky with the super-quick turnaround. All that said, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the customer and technical service. Kudos to Booth and John, and to “BT”, who did the actual work.

I was not happy with the experience I had here. I have never heard of an auto shop who charges to run diagnostics and then keeps that charge once you agree to get the work done there. Upon pick up I was told that I couldnt have a receipt until AFTER I paid. I refused and then was finally shown the bill and was being charged twice for parts. Id like to think this was an honest mistake, but I felt like I was being ripped off. Will not be going back or sending anyone this way. Ill also mention that my car was not fixed and I had to trade it in less than a week later as it wasnt drive able over 15 miles in one trip.

Had our first experience there when our truck broke down in Tallahassee last week. We are new to Florida and we were actually 30 miles from our town, so after reading reviews for the shops in the area we settled on Auto Xperts. They were great, we were able to go have lunch and stay in town a few hours so they could fix it that day, saving us money on having to get a rental car. The guys in the shop that we dealt with (John & Booth) are very very knowledgeable and very nice, we felt the price was fair, especially considering we were 1st time customers and just showed up, we were lucky they had time to fit us in! Definetly recommend them. Our other truck is currently on its way there now for repair and we are thankful to have found a good shop! Although its a 30 mile drive from home, its well worth it when u get good service! Thanks guys!

Great experience! My BMW actually broke down on CCNE right outside their shop and someone helped me push the car out of traffic and into the lot. Mr. Booth knew exactly what was wrong with it, and said they could get the parts and get it fixed the next day, which is exactly what they did. Plus they gave me a ride home. Will definitely be taking my car to Auto Xperts for future needs.

Extremely disappointed. Spent about $1200 to have the rack and power steering pump replaced in my Pontiac because of leaking. Got it back and the power steering reservoir cap was completely loose (virtually no seal). Still more leaking. Another shop now informs me that the replaced rack is leaking out of both sides and the pump whines like a scalded dog. Never going back...

The service was quick and Brandon’s Knowledge gave me confidence to say, “This will be my car repair shop “.

Told them my car was having serious problems. I had them look at it and they told me there was nothing wrong and even implied to my father that I was either making the issues up or over exaggerating not 2 hours after leaving my car broke down completly. Each time I have ever come here they are rude and disrespectful as the look at me as a silly young girl. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for service. Especially if you are a young woman.

I brought my car in for engine running hot. They fixed it but in the process they broke my my fuel pressure sensor, which makes the car undrivable. They refused to pay for a rental, and my car is stuck there for 3 more days until the part comes in. I hope they don’t make me pay for the fuel pressure sensor.
