Breath of fresh air following a disrespectful interaction with the Volvo Dealer Service Department.After a rant by Cameron Clifton at the Volvo Service department, we came to Vol-Car Inc. My husband was promptly greeted by a smiling face and the mechanic correctly guessed what we came for while walking out to take a look at our vehicle. He confirmed what was suspected and offered the most cost effective option in fixing the problem, even though it was by him. Outstanding customer service.

Our family bought a Volvo 240 in 1992 and thanks to the good people at Vol Car it is still on the road today. The Volvo got my two kids through high school safely and now performs as our second car for me and my wife. Chuck at Vol Car has maintained the car for the last 22 years. Over that period I have never been disappointed in the service I have received at Vol Car. They have always been very dependable and fair in their pricing for their services. Family owned business that puts a pretty face in the front to sell you doom and gloom about the repairs your car supposedly needs. However, when I sought a second opinion from another mechanic, it turned out that the urgently needed repairs were not needed at all.

Great people and great service. They have helped me with a few Volvos and done a great job. They get it done on time and I really appreciate how they fix what it needs and not sell a bunch of unnecessary services. They have worked on other brands of vehicles for me as well with the same great results. Highly recommend.

Ive had a couple of Volvos over the years up to February 2019, and always brought them to Vol-Car. Originally because one of my daughters is friends with a girl whose family owns the business.Im glad that brought us together because Vol-Car is fantastic. Tallahassee is, oddly, a town with more Volvo repair shops than you would expect for its size. These folks are without a doubt the best, and weve tried them all.They are very friendly and prices are very fair. They are good at explaining what they do and in diagnosing problems. Repairs and maintenance are done quickly and Ive never had to go back because work was done improperly. They really know their stuff!In 2019 I got rid of my most recent Volvo and bought a BMW. I asked if they work on BMWs - which I was pretty sure they did - and they said they do. Ive taken the BMW in twice, once for an oil change and once for a brake job. The work was done by Rodney who knows BMWs inside and out. He did a great job as usual.No matter the type of car, theres no place I would trust more than Vol-Car to work on my cars. I recommend them very, very highly!
