Best Publix in town. If you participate in $5 sushi roll Wednesday like we do, this is the place to pick it up. Rolls are immaculate and a good variety. Some other locations in town really cheap out on Wednesdays for sure just to keep the shelf stocked for the uptick in sales. Recently renovated!

Very nice newly remodeled store and very nice and helpful employees. Just remember that in FL, on items marked Buy One, Get One you have to buy two to get the discount. In GA and AL you can buy the one item for half price.

Any Pubix that I go into, I am completely satisfied. The staff is also nice and courteous. My situation if having to go there was due to the fact that the Publix I used and the person who waited on me talked over me, did not listen to me and was disrespectful. I spend a lot of money at the Ocala Pubix and because he didnt listen, I ended up having to drive to another Publix pharmacy to get my medicine. I have never been dissatisfied at the Ocala Pubix but I was this time. I have a lot of medical problems and I require special attention and I often have questions for the pharmacist. The regular pharmacist was not there and I actually ended up in the hospital the very next day. Right now, the Ocala Pubix needs to take a breathe and listen and be respectful and responsible for the patient standing on front of them.... I understand they are very busy but me ended up in the hospital all day Saturday night could have been avoided if they had checked to see if that medication reacted with something that I was already taking. Regardless, Publix is the very best and one bad experience at the Ocala Pubix will not deter me from going there or recommending Pubix. Josh has to realize that he cannot talk over the person who he has in front of him. I am slow, I am disabled and I get confused. The pharmacist, the other staff at the Capital circle NW, were awesome and figured out what the problem was and took very good care of me. I am so appreciative of the care and the attention they gave me. The Ocala Pubix is going to have to remember that when dealing with me, I am special customer and need the proper respect. I hope the Ocala Pubix addresses this issue. Love Publix

Everything youve come to expect from each Publix -- bright, clean interior and a well attended parking lot. Baskets WORK, rolling effortlessly! Items are plentiful, easily found, and attractively displayed. Produce and meat are FRESH. The bakery and deli are prizes, with new things to discover during each visit, run by friendly, attentive staff. Overall? An absolute PLEASURE to shop at this Publix, where people CARE about customers, their business, and the image conveyed to the shopping public. Its a 5-star....but only because there isnt 6, 7, of 10 stars.

We have been needing a new Publix in the Lake Jackson area for years. This store is very clean, the atmosphere for shopping is outstanding. Now they can offer more products to give you a better choice. Thanks Publix its about time, BJ Smith.

We love this Publix and the service. However, today we didnt have a good experience from the Deli Department. Comment from my husband:Today, July 01 around 10;30 am, we went to get some prosciutto and gouda cheese. The person in the deli/meat department was not too pleasant and it seems that didnt like her job. Aside from that, I requested thin cut of cheese and very thin cut of the prosciutto. Needless to say, the whole pound I bought was not even thin cut so the prosciutto was chewy and hard. I have bought from this same store before and never had issues in the deli. I suggest Publix supervise better the people that really want to work in that department. 4 starts because this Publix is great.

Lots to offer now that the building is redone, but parking was grossly under-estimated. I hope when they finish the nearby strip mall that will change. If you go here on a weekend expect to search for a spot or park by the curb. I sometimes avoid going here because of this.

The new Publix Market is nice, perhaps even a bit too upgraded for the area it sits in but of course we know this means gentrification is afoot. But when the lady making the sandwiches (subs) is a gerk then why would I bother to shop for anything else. She was so smug and so rude, as if I had offended her by even stepping up to order. I dont think that people realize that I can walk away at ANY moment and I have with me the power of 50,000 people who read my reviews. I simply walked away in the middle of her making my sandwich 🥪. You can eat it darling, because I dont have to. You will not be getting my money TODAY. 👋 Buh bye Karen!

Publix is consistently a clean, well stocked and organized store. Their parking lot is consistently a death trap. This one particularly has a problem with people literally parking and leaving their vehicles IN the road way.

Getting very disappointed in Publix. Yes shopping here is a pleasure but when you point out the fruit flies to the produce clerk and he respond with It a produce department not good. And the bakery items are just under-par and normally always on the line of stale. Not happy at all. But its Publix. I think its getting to large to manage quality like they are famous for. Publix tighten up please.

Although they are having some product availability problem, the folks there are doing their best. The store is clean and everyone is helpful.

1. The phone number listed on Google is incorrect and I have requested a change to no avail. A customer recommendation at the bottom of the page has the correct number. Unbelievable.2. The pharmacy staff left off 2 of my 3 regular prescriptions when I went to pick them up so I had to drive another 40 miles back to Publix due to there mistake. No offer for my trouble was made-not even when I asked.3. The deli staff answers the phone after 10 rings and is rude when the phone is finally answered. I was told it would be at least 30 minutes if I called in a sub even if my husband was there shopping (because he doesnt know what my family likes on their sandwiches) because all phone orders go behind in-line and online orders-thats the rule. The deli staff was not interested when I tried to explain my situation-she said no one was actually in line at that point but they could be.I have shopped at Publix for 25 years; I worked there in high school and college so I know what is expected of employees. Get some deli staff that will actually help the customers and make right when you mess something up! I am loyal (almost to a fault) but this past week Publix has failed me twice.

Good store but they lost two stars because they dont give the cashiers a chair or stool. Those long shifts are brutal and they stand in the same small area.

They tore down the old one and put in a new and bigger one. I liked the old one better. Cant find anything in the new one. But thats my problem- it is clean and well stocked and its setting up the plaza to be busy again.

To be fair, some construction is still going on and it makes parking a nightmare. I dont really like the way the 1st isle jets out between Grocery and produce. if you come from produce to grocery in the front of the store, you feel like youre trying to walk straight out the door you are in front of the registers and everything. I dont like that part. Will have to get used to wear to find everything at the new store but it is beautiful.

I stop by for some Ocean Spray Grape juice after not being able to get any from Walmart. There was one bottle on the bottom shelf. Couldnt find anyone to assist me by checking to see if any was in the stock room. A associate from the Sea food department by the name of Philliea hopefully I got his name correct. He was more than considerable to leave his department go the stock room to check. I appreciate your service. Please give him a sincerely thank you

Delis great, pharmacys great, customer services great, self-check out available. Itd be perfect if they had more parking spaces available.

It a lovely, large brand new store. Great bakery, excellent fried chicken nicely arranged! Much improved over the old smaller grocery it replaced!

Beautiful store and excellent staff but someone really failed when planning out the parking while construction has been going on.Failing to police the parking to stop people from parking on the exterior loop creates even more issues.

Parking is a little tight but hopefully that will get better when the construction is done. Staff and store is amazing.

Ordered 2 subs online from being away from home all day with our 3 kiddos for an easy dinner.... we live timed 3 minutes away. They said done in 7 so my husband waited 10 to leave. Got there and waited 10 minutes to find out they werent not only made but that they were out of things for his... no biggie again we know things happen. The lady who then made them apparently just slapped our subs together so much so that we opened them and they were already soaked and soggy. Paid for 2 full subs to enjoy not even half? People choose publix over subway for quality and we definitely didnt receive that. Disappointed in what our neighborhood has been waiting on as the new and improved Publix

Whether its the bakery, deli, seafood dept, or the butcher, always very fresh n served w a genuine smile. Theyre very knowledgeable about ne-thing n their department.

Bigger and cleaner comes to mind about this piblix. The only issue I have is that the b1g1 are not at the front like the other stores and the parking aint good either.

No parking because they fenced off the old parking lot so had to park around back with a couple dozen others. Then you try to use self check out and the screens wont react because you push to hard which makes you press harder. Then the scanner stops working because you removed bags from the bagging area because theres no more room which then makes you hunt down help. Its been open for weeks and they still havent gotten it figured out.I recommend you go to any other Publix than this one. We are moving our scripts to another location it will be quicker and less annoying. Even with the extra 20 minutes drive.

Beautiful new Publix with friendly staff. Its not one of those super publix with tons of specialty islands but it has the usual islands in the deli area. The selection is good but in places a little abbreviated in others. For example I couldnt find white cake mix but they had everything else I needed for making a easy version of chantilly cake including the mascarpone cheese. Shopping there was definitely a positive experience and I will be back.

The service at this store is just wonderful! Both the staff and the managers are to be congratulated. Although this is my favorite Publix, before Covid-19 the shopping was generally done by someone else in the family - either my husband or my parents. However, because all of them fall in to the vulnerable category, I have been doing all the shopping every Sunday since March. Since this is November, thats a lot of Sundays (35+ at this point). Its also a lot of different staff, dozens of different people who have waited on me at the deli, bakery, produce, and checkout lines, and without fail, EVERY Sunday for months on end, I have left the store feeling glad that I shop at Publix generally and that I shop at Oak Valley in particular. Thank you, all of you, for making these trying months easier! You guys are the best.

Just sat in line for a sub for 30 mins. Went in for sushi and there was only two kinds left, three meals of it, neither that I liked. Went over to get a sub and the line was long, but I waited. Got cut in line by a cashier who I guess was on break. Deli clerk said they were out of the kind of meat I like. Goes to cut it. Person who was behind me in line orders the same thing from the person who was also making subs and they pulled it right out of their fridge. Ten minutes later I finally got out of the door. I counted eight people who stood within 3 feet of me while I was there. I kept my distance as best as I could, even moving slightly out of line towards the end while I was waiting on the meat to be cut (several of them without masks).I am high risk and can not bring anything back to my also high risk partner. Do better guys.

If you dont make an income of more than 50 g a year your not getting much from this store. A piece of meat that is big enough to feed a family is 40 bucks. So to feed your family each night it will cost 50 bucks to make it yourself. Well if you have a family of 4 or more. I most likely will not shop here in the future.

This is a brand new Publix store. The core of the usual Publi is there so you can find what youre looking for. But several departments are expanded to add to variety of choice. I like the way they expanded the produce section. There are some decent choices for beer and wine. I dont eat meat but the sea food section looked good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the bogos. Nice job.

Deli still terrible. Wish Lucky’s Market never closed. No cold craft beer at this Publix. Only Publix I’ve ever seen this. Seriously? You can’t stock a single six pack of cold craft beer inside the grocery portion? Yet you stock trash like Anheuser-Busch products, Coors products, and miller products – who all sold out and are currently owned by giant, foreign conglomerates, like InBev. HAHA. Seems spiteful since they used to stock lots of LOCAL, cold craft beer at the older smaller version of this store. They now force craft beer drinkers to make a 2nd stop/errand inside the Publix liquor store if you want cold craft beer. Glad they rebuilt this store. Nice and new but still not managed like other Publix locations. Deli has some issues with quality control-sloppy cuts and bagging. Parking lot is a nightmare. Still an awfully managed Publix. They clearly stock this store on the red neck demographic-lacks a lot of items other Publix locations stock. Still the “Havana” Publix!

We love our new Publix, but were all getting tired of inadequate parking. They have a large chunk of parking fenced off for employees, while customer parking has a dozen cars circling, waiting for a space to open up. Then you have at least one thoughtless driver who just sits in a lane, blocking all traffic, waiting for someone to leave. Some of my neighbors said they arent going to shop there until there is sufficient parking. Im starting to agree with them.
