I always go in only needing one item but end up leaving with much more, especially as the holidays get nearer. Great gift ideas and great prices. I’m an evening shopper and with each visit the night employees continue to be helpful and friendly.

My pickup order: Was notified a few minutes before my selected time that my order was ready. Good news, right? I have been waiting over an hour to get my order. Meanwhile, employees are either leaving or smoking and hanging out/playing around in the parking lot. I have never had such poor quality service here for pickup. It has always been very expedient and courteous any other time. This is honestly disgraceful. Don’t offer a curbside pickup if the employees on hand can’t handle actually working at their job. As I am leaving right now, there is a man still waiting for his order who was here before I got here. This service is supposed to save customers time… Not waste over an hour of it. The items in my order were surprisingly correct...grateful for that. A substitution was made that I did not want, and I notified the person who loaded my stuff. He acted as if he had no idea how to accommodate me. Once again, this is something that I have done before with zero difficulty.

I have to say Quan was so helpful she seriously took the time to help me even though my situation was very complicated and she was very busy helping many other customers. I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate her help and her kindness this morning. This is definitely the best Walmart in town and her dedication to customer service and satisfaction is unmatched

Good selections. However, floor staff almost none existent. A majority of shopping carts are defective. Not enough registers open. The north end only recently opened up, which was a major inconvenience for far too long. I witnessed a very rude and disrespectful customer verbally assault two customer service reps aat customer service recently. Although I advised the supervisor what I witnessed from begining to end and complimented both employees, I was disappointed to learn a few days later that one of the employees was fired stemming from the incident.

Received a notification that my online order was ready for pickup, so I checked in and drove to store. Waited 45 minutes outside after checking in at arrival, then went inside to ask why my pickup order hadnt come out. The manager tells me that pickup service closed at 8pm, which is before I was notified that my order was ready...very curious. I asked for a refund and she stated there was no one in the store that could do that and Id have to come back tomorrow. So very respectful of others time.

First time shopper. I have never seen a Walmart grocery section this empty of food. Im not sure if this is normal or due to the pandemic. Otherwise, this store was clean.

Questions? Why would I ring up my own groceries? I dont get a discount doing it. If I have to play at role at Walmart, how come I cant be a manager? Every item that goes into Walmart includes labor (stocker and cashier) and profit.. Am I really paying more for it because I am the unpaid cashier now?

This is my favorite Walmart in Tallahassee. Always better stocked than the others and generally cleaner all the way around. Customer service still exists at this site too.

I only go into Walmart when absolutely necessary. I rarely encounter a clean store and employees dont seem happy to work there. The optical department has great prices but slow service. Always allow an hour there.

Never more than 2 registers open and forced to use self checkout. Not impressed

Its a HOT MESS! Items are ALWAYS out of stock. Grocery items may be expired. What is in stock is thrown on shelves without any sense of organization. Definitely the WORST Walmart Ive visited by far. Unfortunately its the one right next to my home. Take some tips from Publix and Target. They need a whole new management team.

Absolutely my all time go to place when in Tallahassee. Friendly people, the prices are pretty good.

Everyone shops at walmart and knows that its not perfect. But while it may not be a Publix it still has almost everything that you need.

Would give a 0 if this was an option, just left after spending over $700. Waited in checkout line for over 20 MINUTES!!!. Only 2 were open, the rest were self checkout. We are physically unable to use the selfcheck out registers. There were over 10 carts in each line. We were told no other checkout registers would be opened!! WE WILL NOT BE BACK!! All shoppers that were waiting said the same thing. 2 or 3 actually said they were to about to just leave their full cart and go somewhere else. We recommended Publix to them!!

Tori at customer service is rude. Instead of explaining to customers she instead storms off and tells you how she is just going to get a manager. After asking her name she walked around the customer service desk under her breath and responded with “Walmart” then she stormed around the customer service area making it very apparent to all of the other front end workers that I was bothering her saying “i don’t have time for this sh*t, I don’t understand what I’m not explaining right, I been here two years, maybe you just don’t understand”.

For at least 3 months, an opened Ben and Jerry’s peanut butter cookie dough bites bag sat on the shelf. They never restocked them in this time, and they never removed the opened bag. It kind of became a fun thing for me though, because I always looked forward to going into the store to see if it was still there. Impressive!

Was disappointed that they had already started taking away summer wear. Found some great jeans & always have great clearance sales also.

The better Walmart in town if not the best! Always clean, well stocked and short lines.

I was thoroughly disappointed. There was only 1 register that was operated by a person. I waited in line for a least 20 mins.. I think that Ill try Target next time.

This store is really my home away from home... lol... I visit almost everyday 🤦🏿‍♀️. Definitely has everything my house and household needs!

Its Walmart. Workers dont care . Rather be on the phone. Even heard a few black employees talk about how they are tired of helping honkies and working for them..

We went to customer service and the girls up there were argumentative instead of trying to be helpful and figure out what could be done with a nintendo party arcade game that was not working. Finally a manager out on the floor came and helped us. The woman at our register was nice and was trying to be helpful bhktept trying to override her until manager off floor came over.she took care of what we needed and we got the matter settled, Thank God for the floor manager and the little girl on the register at the right end by wall. I didnt catch her name or the managers. But they were great. The other 3 girls at other end of counter were horrible. Especially the big girl named Q.I know this is the worst experience I have ever had at a Walmart. Those girls sure did not learn Sam Waltons Motto.

This is the best Walmart in Tallahassee so far. Very clean organized orderly.The associates are also very helpful and go out of their way to accommodate all the customers

Its Walmart. Dont overthink it or arrive with lofty expectations. You get lower prices -- along with the things that allow the company to offer them -- gaps in stocked items, less than wonderful displays, unmotivated staff, baskets that dont roll well, and a parking lot in constant need of attention.

Oct 3 is way too early for Christmas decorations. Service is hit or miss. Some of the cashiers and stock employees go way out off their way to be helpful. Other times, it seems like an assistant manager or supervisor squashes that attitude and slows down the entire shopping experience. Overall, they have everything. And a convenient location.

The shelves are almost always half empty, or completely empty. The produce is awful. The employees stand around texting on their phones, and cant answer the simplest question, nor do they want to answer a question. The quality of this store has fallen so much recently, I dislike going there.

This Walmart location always has a great variety of items my local store doesnt have. I make it part of every trip I make to Tallahassee. The store is always clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Its Walmart. They used to be well stocked. Anymore I hate shopping at Walmart because they seldom have what Im looking for. This time it was a small clay flower pot. I didnt see it and asked the help, who seemed put out that I asked and only pointed in a general direction of where to find it, if they had any. They didnt.

Another time visiting the Walmart deli on Thomasville Road. Tried to get some meat sliced from the deli and was told this time they do not slice after 6 PM. The girls in the back with their backs turn towards me ignored me for 10 minutes and when I finally got their attention they said they do not slice after 6 PM and this is a Tuesday normal work wee at 6:40 PM on March 23, 2021. This is not the first time we’ve been turned down at this deli because of time restrictions. I talked to the manager on duty and she told me the deli was to be open and they were to be slicing up until 8 PM. Other people have had the same issues many times and there is never a resolve. Walmart could do much better than this.

The customer service was a lot better on this visit, I didnt give a 5 star rating, because as in all Walmart stores they had only a few cashiers, even though the store was packed with customers. Just saying, they NEED TO HIRE FREAKIN CASHIERS SO CUSTOMERS CAN GET OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER!!!

Walmart, off Thomasville Rd, is a nice, big store. Lots of groceries, supplies and oil changes for your car are found here. The prices are good, even better than amazon, on some things. I have gotten many oil changes here, which is real convenient, when you can shop while your waiting for your car oil change. The staff is pretty helpful but like any big box store, you can spin yourself around many times trying to figure out where your next product is located. Glad to have this super center nearby especially for their 24 hour service.

This Walmart in particular has never let me down. I bought a TV today and the associate assisted me with fitting it into my car. He had to take it out the box for me and everything and refused to accept a tip. This man was heaven sent and made sure I got what I needed and he did not complain one time. The Walmart and parking lot was clean and well kept. I will be returning here.

They were extremely helpful when I was making a return with an e-receipt and didnt really know how to work it. Im trying to be paperless but Im still new to it.

I am amazed that they had my sons diapers...you cannot order them online and I went to 2 other Walmarts.

Ordered online but they have shut down their preordered-item storage tower, so you still have to wait for someone to retrieve order from another area.

When I was there only one cashier was opened. A lot of people still prefer to have cashiers ringing up and bagging their stuff and are also confused by the self checkouts. The line was about 12 people deep and there was nobody helping.

TOO GREAT A RISK FOR DAMAGE.A trip to get a tire rotation and balanced lead to a great amount of rim damage. IF you choose to get any tire service done anywhere I highly recommend you purchase a set of lug but sockets with protective sleeves and require they use them for any removal of tires/rims. Otherwise if you have factory or aftermarket rims they will get damaged, guaranteed, just look at my photos

Online showed this location having 5 in stock, when we showed up in 5 mins, there was nothing. My belief is that they want you to come into the building and dont update their system.

Never fails something about the curbside process doesnt work but at least I was able to get my items this time and my order wasnt delayed and then cancelled.

The store is not as clean and stocked as it use to be. It seems that all Tallahassee Walmarts are dirty, unprofessional and missing needed items.

Worst Wal-Mart customer service ever! Most the employees look and act as if they have been sucking lemons all day. An actual smile or polite word from one of them would most likely break their face.

Went in on a Saturday just after noon (store at 5500 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL was pretty busy). Selected my items and proceeded to the checkout line. The store had approximately three of the large self checkout lines open (only one checkout line with an actual employee which is the tobacco sales register). Lines were totally backed up with shoppers waiting to checkout with loaded shopping carts, myself included. I noticed approximately six employees standing around Customer Service just cutting up and having a good time. One or more of these employees could of opened more self checkout lanes. Unloaded my grocery items onto the self checkout and scanned ONE item. Computer stated the system needed to shut down and reboot. Employee comes over and says the reboot takes a while and I would need to find another line. I just waited for 30 minutes to get to this checkout, only to have to reload all my groceries and wait for 30 minutes in another self checkout line which no extra lines were opened.This store has gone downhill over the years. During mid to late 2020 during COVID, Wal-Mart would have an associate at the front door demanding people wear masks or they couldnt enter. Once you entered, none of the employees, including the one at the door, would be wearing a mask. Male employees constantly walk around with their pants below their rear ends and with half smoked black and mild type cigars in their mouth. Employees barge out of aisles with shopping carts and pallet jacks and act like they own the store and if you get in their way, they give you attitude.I am done with Wal-Mart until the checkout situation changes and customer service becomes a priority. I will gladly spend more money at Publix for way better customer service and for employees who understand that when I buy their product, Im helping with paying their wages.

I was disappointed with their gardening department. Access was difficult and they did not have items I was looking for.

Love it. All my needs were met. Was able to purchase all my items even got lysol in the middle of the day.

Please fix the freezer by the chicken and ground turkey area. The other day it smelled of rotting meat when I was in the store. A few weeks ago I purchased Ground turkey 3 family size packs and all three were bad.😳

This Wal-Mart is the best one in Tallahassee. Always clean and easy to get in and out!

This one on Thomasville road was more in-stock than the one I normally shop at on Tennessee St. I have been trying to get the Great Value Club Soda 1 liter and is having to resort to online notices of which locations have it instock

A COVID nightmare. At least 1/3 of customers were not wearing masks, and some employees were not wearing masks correctly. If you have concerns about COVID, dont shop at Walmart!

This store really needs a lot of help. Its Thursday and at least 1/3rd of the grocery shelves are empty! The frozen food section still has doors that dont close properly so that items inside are defrosting (I pointed this out to management 3 weeks ago). There were only 3 cashiers open (this includes the few items isle)! If it wasnt so close to home, I would not shop there.

0 ZERO STARS -This location has the most horrific, unorganized, rudest management customer grocery pick up service. They can never locate the items the wait time in their parking lot in the hot humiliating sun is always excruciating and too long and we are talking about 30 minutes to an hour for one item folks on more than one occasion I’ve tested this theory out several times just to see if it was me or was it the store and it’s definitely the store.

This Walmart, 5500 Thomasville Rd. needs immediate management intervention. Rude employees, horrible customer service,, not enough cashiers, no one answers the phone,..... the list goes on and on.

Well we went online and purchased an item. Was told we can pick it up by 8:00 pm. We got there a little after 8:00. The item had not been pulled for pickup and the Customer service center was closed. Staff was not very helpful and escalated the situation. Everything one would expect from walmart service.

Never any help and when they do decide to help they act like ur bothering them and are almost all very rude and have very very bad attitudes

Im giving two stars only because they had two Cornish hen left that came out yummy.Other then that, seen three customers without mask and one was actually eating product in the meat section, where I was. Should have left then but I didnt want to go to another store.As we were checking out, noticed more people not wearing mask, 6 + plus people not told by one employee to put a mask on.... Ill not be shopping at this location again.

This place has really gone downhill. They have limited the checkout lines to 2 to 3 humans at the checkout. The rest have been converted to scan & go. This resulted in huge lines and just doesnt work well for people who need to buy a lot of groceries. The employee morale seems to be pretty low. Youre lucky if anyone greets you. My list of issues with this poorly run store is pretty long but thats a start.

The customer service here is much better than most Walmarts. That being says its still just a Walmart

Thomasville Road Walmart. Always soooo busy. Had to go to their electronics area. The man working was very nice and knowledgeable about what I needed. We handled the transaction in less time than it took to walk to that area of the store.

This place is a joke!!! Their were only 3 cash registers open. The other 9 million were self checkout and they were overflowing.

Shopping was nice found everything I needed. One problem when you go to cash out you have to wait a long time. Not happy when you have to go to work.

My wife wanted me to pick up some storage containers before coming home. I was greeted exceptionally well upon entering and leaving the store. Very impressed with how clean and nicely polished the concrete floors were and how orderly the shelves were. Overall experience was very good. Hope all Walmart stores are raising the bar like this.
