Always a pleasant experience. A thorough exam, growing up with glasses and contacts, I know what to look for. Quality exam as well as up to date equipment for the health exam as well as the vision. Trust my family with him more than the fast in and out experience with many of the large multi physician offices. Dr. Christman is terrific and his office crew are competent, and pleasant to work with as well. We are lucky to have him.
All three stars are for the doctor, he was kind, patient, and incredibly patient in helping me find contacts that were a perfect fit for even though it took a few visits. However one of his staff is just downright unpleasant, rude and seems bothered to be there working. This person made me take my contacts in and out so many times during my fitting my eyes are were sore, and spent at least 30 mins more than I needed on the appointment, even when I said I was in a rush at that point because they were behind anyway, I spent 2 hours there. On a separate occasion I tried to reach out to the doctor regarding some symptoms that concerned me to see if there were any potential causes that would warrant a visit, the staff member didn’t bother taking a note or even actually hearing me out, they’re immediate response was to tell me they don’t take medical insurance, give me a rate, and ask when I’d like to make an appointment. As if the doctor doesn’t have the medical knowledge to know the difference between healthy and normal and potentially unwell. People that value money over helping others are one of the biggest problems with our healthcare system, and I can’t in good conscience support that. I have all the respect in the world for the doctor and wish him all the best, but I will be finding a new office for my next exam.
I found the staff to be very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Christman was excellent. He explained everything as he went along. He was very thorough.
Doctor Michael Christman is excellent but his staff not so much. I forgot my old pair of glasses there while being examinated and the lady insisted that nothing was left there (they were in lunch break). I insisted it was in the exam room and that I needed them to drive. She finally open the door and found it but never apologize for it . Not to mention they forgot to give me the prescription after I checked out. I called back and requested to be scanned it. They refused to do it .
I found the office staff to be friendly and efficient. Dr. Christman was professional and answered all my questions. Excellent experience overall - without the usual wait times.
They had the cheapest price for eye exam, but decided to get my contacts somewhere else. I called to request they to fax my prescription, but all doctors were out to lunch at 3:00 PM!
