What a great experience! From the time I walked through the door into this beautiful salon until my appointment was finished, I had a great experience. Jessica was my stylist and she did an awesome job with my hair color! I needed a color correction and she hit the nail on the head. She spoke with me at the beginning of the appointment about my hair needs and explained the process extensively. I had a partial highlight and cut with A new stylist yesterday. From the minute I walked in, I felt like the staff truly cared that I was having a relaxing experience. The complimentary wine was a nice perk to my evening. The stylist gave me the best haircut I have had in years, and I truly love the colors. She made sure she got it just right. Another assistant stepped in to do my wash and other treatments, and I really enjoyed my experience with her as well. I was blown away by how much This salon cared and genuinely liked their jobs. I had an incredible visit to Salon Norrell from the moment I walked in and was greeted by the friendly receptionist Kyla. She asked me to select two complimentary services in addition to the color and haircut I had booked. I chose the scalp and hand massage. The salon atmosphere is fun but they are serious about pampering clients. New artist in training Olivia was incredible. She talked with me about what I was looking for in color and cut and explained how she was going to achieve the look. Her mentor Christine checked in with us and assured me that I was in great hands. I was offered beverages and had a refreshing mimosa while I settled in for some much needed hair maintenance. Every square foot of the salon is stylish and designed to inspire guests to be their very best version of themselves. I relaxed in the gorgeous lounge while my hair processed then proceeded to have a spa experience with the hand/scalp massage while my hair was rinsed/shampooed in the lather lounge. Hair cut and styling followed with Olivia’s precise execution. I loved the service I received and can’t wait to visit Salon Norrell again.

Really bad first time experience with customer service. I set up an appointment and was told they need my credit card info in case I cancel, understood and gave them the info. Appt is Monday and on Monday I get a call from my doctors they can finally do my mri for a busted knee but its too close to the hair appointment so I take the mri appointment since its obviously more important and call the salon immediately to please reschedule. They let me know its $32 fee to reschedule. I express that I was never told this. I was only told a cancelation fee and for obvious reasons I took the mri appointment. Liz on the phone proceeds to repeat four times that theres a fee to reschedule. Doesnt try to understand and just keeps repeating like a robot. Absolute zero understanding or even acting like a human who might care that I have a busted knee and really need to reschedule and when I ask for some kind of leeway to reschedule without a fee since I was never told about it or agreed to any terms of use that I understood there was a reschedule fee, again just repeats the whole policy with 0 empathy. I was really looking forward to getting a haircut here with how everyone speaks highly of them and rough my injury has been on me, this haircut was going to be like therapy. And now the experience is ruined.Edit to add, owner is still avoiding the obvious unethical decision to charge for reschedule when the owner and receptionist clearly said cancelation fee. I am not canceling, Im asking to reschedule. Sad to see I was referred here.

Shannon is the absolute best! She’s an amazing blonde specialist and also knows how to make my hair look too cute. I feel bright and so blonde and have gotten so many compliments on how the color suits my skin. I was originally thinking of going more ashy but after seeing the highlights Shannon recommended we keep it bright and I’m so happy with her advice. She takes so much special care with her clients, she really takes the time needed and is such a perfectionist about her foils and her results. Would recommend for those in the carrollwood area who are looking for a good blonde stylist who uses great products (yay aveda!). Can’t wait to do extensions with her when my hair gets a little longer.

I love this salon! No chemical smell and every employee is so nice and friendly. I have been coming here a few years now and I cant see myself going anywhere else. Today I had a keratin treatment done with Anthony. He took the time to tell me how to care for my hair after the treatment including how to sleep with it. He was very friendly and informative. He made me feel comfortable and the shampoo he gave me was wonderful! He had a gentle touch, not one time during my blowout did it hurt and the result was beautiful. All the products used are natural which I love and its the reason I return to this salon besides the awesome talent.

Went in for a total transformation with Kailey and that’s what I got! I came in for a buzzed pixie from a grown out bob and think it came out pretty well. The hair cut was exactly what I wanted. The color scheme was not as pinpoint as I desired but will fix it on my own. Kailey is very sweet and perceptive and has a lot of potential as a stylist. Doing color is a long process and I believe with more time it would have come out perfect! Thank you for the experience!

I came into the Salon today to get pampered by Kailey and I am so happy I did. The services I received were head wash, cut and blow dry ( Not to mention a very nice head massage with the hair wash💆🏼‍♀️). From the initial consultation to my end hair result I had to give her service 5 starts ! She really took her time to not only get to know a little about my hair and myself personally but to really make sure my hair came out perfect and that I was happy with my visit. This was my first time visiting Salon Norrell. I was impressed with how clean it is and how courteous the staff are. Everyone is required to wear a mask and wash their hands. The restroom is spotless.The very lovely young Laura was my stylist, and she was very professional. Sadly, Ill most likely not return to or recommend Salon Norrell. The staff & stylists are very friendly and I enjoyed my experience there, however, I did not receive what I asked (or paid) for. I showed them a picture of exactly what I wanted, which was a balayage look. After I left, I was disappointed with how it looked. It was nowhere near as brunette as the picture. I am naturally brunette. I called the next day and spoke with the manager, who scheduled me to come back in 2 days later. I had a different stylist and she attempted to tone down the blonde on the top of my head, but still again very far off from the picture. My hair did not look bad, but it is not at all what I asked for. Its way lighter and there is no balayage in my hair. Im disappointed that I had to pay for a balayage and go back a 2nd time (each 3 hour appointments) for them to still not get it right.

Can I just begin by saying how amazing my experience was with Taylor!!!? Lawddd my scalp felt rejuvenated and my hair came out goddess like. I got a simple blow out, but nothing simple about it. So months ago my fiancé goes to this place to get her hair done at an esteemed establishment and was very excited about getting a treatment done that would straighten her hair. The woman she was serviced by was apparently super friendly and the service was excellent, as I should hope it would be for around 400 dollars. This was a one time gift from me to my fiancé. Where things get shady is when an appointment is made eithout the knowledge or consent of my fiancé so of course i know nothing of it either. Here we are now in September and I get a 125 dollar charge from this place not understanding what was going on. I am the only one working and live paycheck to paycheck with a 1 year old little girl . During times like these, it hurts even worse to have 125 dollars snatched, which just so happened to needed for an upcoming bill that I will now not be able to pay. My fiancé called to try and straighten things out and instead of good customer service, she was hit with the classic policy excuse for a missed appointment charge. THERE NEVER WAS A SECOND APPOINTMENT!!! So if paying top dollar to get your hair done and then get scammed later for some more money is up your alley then youre in the right place. Seriously, things like this mess with peoples lives and it takes food out of my daughters mouth. They could have just owned up to the mistake and given me my money back. Maybe in more stable times my fiancé would have even been a return customer but not anymore.Edit: Conveniently in your response you failed to address scheduling a follow up appointment that we never wanted nor asked for. The negligence of reserving a seat for 3 hours for somebody who never planned on having another appointment falls on you guys, not me. Also for the record, if you did send any reminders, they did not come to me nor my fiancé in any form. Text, call, email, nada. If your justification for thieving my family is going to be transparent policy, then maybe you should add in there that follow ups will be made without your knowledge so people are aware of that too.

Today I saw Shannon for a cut and style for my extensions. All I can say are good things. She knows her hair and what cuts will flatter you. She is also perfect and blending in extensions at any length to look seamless. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating during this weird time were living through post-pandemic. The salon and stations are spotless and they have an array of your favourite Aveda products for sale! Cannot recommend enough.

My sister gave me a gift card in September and I was only just now (Dec!) using it! From the second I called to make my appointment to the follow-up text after I left, every interaction was wonderful. Taylor is a new artist but she was professional, friendly, and super talented! She did a great job with my roots and cut/blow dry. I even decided to get a little crazy and add some curtain bangs. She asked for assistance when she needed it and seemed to be very confident and excited to be a stylist! She even sold me a product without even trying haha! Because of my experience today I can say that I will definitely be returning and I’m really excited about the new location they are opening in 2021 (which will offer manis and pedis!!). I am very picky about who I let cut my hair because i have a pixie cut and requires someone who knows how to properly cut and style short hair. I was very pleased with how Bri cut my hair and with very little input from me. She figured out what I wanted very quickly and my cut turned out great! I had an excellent time at Salon Norell. I was immediately greeted with a warm, genuine smile. My stylist, Ashley, did an excellent job listening to what I wanted and brought all of my ideas cohesively together--she brought LIFE back to my hair! I loved how the stylists seemed to work together well, while remaining attentive to their clients. My time at the salon felt like being pampered all day (I even had a mini facial that felt, and smelled, amazing)! I look forward to my next visit!
