I must compliment Adam, a service representative at the Greer store. I received stellar service from this gentleman. I walked in the store completely frustrated with a Asurion insurance situation that I could not resolve myself.Adam was attentive, and used his professional expertise to assist me in solving this frustratingCircumstances to the best of his ability. I had to setup a new phone, add a new line and switch an existing user, moving me from to old to the the new phone and the new line to my old phone. Whew! Also, the new phone was 5G so the SIM cards had to be changed.A really nice guy spent time helping me get things sorted out and then gave me detailed instructions on how to make the phone-to-phone transfer when I got home. Everything worked perfectly. I never felt rushed, only respected as a customer.This is the second time in this store, the previous time adding a power of attorney to my parents account. Yes, another one off situation. I was happy both times.
Had to get a replacement Gizmo watch. The wait was about 10 minutes. (Lets face it... everyone has been impacted by staff shortages.) The staff were friendly and very helpful! In and out under 45 minutes.

Nice friendly staff. I had to wait for awhile theyre were a little short on help but theres a lot of that stuff lately. They didnt try to push into something I didnt want.

Johnae was very helpful in getting my new phone. When I didnt understand why I was being charged, Johnae quickly contacted her manager who explained to me. Every member of the staff was efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonable.

Wish I could give NO stars!! This place only cares about getting off on time, not helping customers. Nell at the front door was NO help and just kept saying “well there is no way we can get that done before we close”. Verizon should be ashamed to have their name on this establishment. 7:00-7:30pm appointments shouldn’t be an option if you close at 8 pm!!
Absolutely pathetic cant even help my mother set up new iPhone we gifted. We will leave Florida the first week of April and Ill be sure to show the store manager what should have been done the first time I made an appointment about this issue its sad I have to travel from Florida to South Carolina to show her how to use her new iphone. Im almost positive showing your customer how to use their new device is in everyone in the buildings job description so Im not sure why she has been pushed out the door twice.

These stores Do not have I store shopping !!! Not any of them you have to make appointments. Do not waste your time driving to the store!!! The google ads are misleadingUpdate based on owners response: South Carolina has no limits on capacity or in store shopping, nor does the CDC on their business checklist. as long as social distancing is maintained and masks are used. Even concert venues are open in SC with 50% capacity...nice corporate response though. If I worked at Verizon Id look for a job. this is a trial run for getting rid of all brick and mortar store fronts!!

The young highlighted blonde associate is rude and doesnt care to help or listen to the situation. I finally had to just tell her I wanted to talk to someone else. Ive never had to ask to speak with someone else before. All I wanted was a replacement screen protector put on. As you can see in the picture the one they put on 3 days prior was not put on properly. She refused to put one on.

I just spent 2 hours on hold with Verizon Customer Service. After the first hour — first call — I was disconnected while on hold! The second call, which I was assured wouldn’t take long, caused me to hang up after 53 minutes on hold. I’m going to try this store, which I’ve had good experiences with in the past, and see if I can get some help.

What has happened to Verizon Customer service especially at a Verizon store?Here is what happened.Someone left a Apple Iphone in my car.I ask everyone that I knew had been in my car for the past 5 days.No one had lost an Iphone.The phone was very low on power and would not fully power on unless you had a charger to plug it into.I stopped by the local Verizon store at 6031 Wade Hampton Blvd, Taylors, SC 29687.Took the phone in and explained the situation. The manager there said they would not help me at all unless I bought a charger from them.So much for customer service. Is there any one whom I could reach out to, to file a complaint about poor service?You know it wasn’t like that when I worked for Verizon.
Not interested in helping me with a broke phone, instead they forced me to buy me a phone.
A Sunday afternoon visit to ditch Sprint after more than 15 years of sketchy reception. Nell at Verizon was super helpful selecting both iPhones and the level of service to meet our requirements. The store was arranged very well as we found our conversations quite private even though the in-store traffic was heavy. Now to see if the service is as good as advertised.
To find out your dad has his first month of service with Verizon, tries to take a screen shot of the payment stated when it was taken out and the guy argues and talks back, and then precedes to just walk away is so incredibly disheartening and frustrating to hear. He is in the middle of a divorce and just is doing his own plan for the first time in 34 years. Come on where is the humanity?
It was that time...needed a new phone. After the usual wait - not too bad for a Saturday morning - we were quickly and kindly cared. We changed our minds several times about which phone...and were never treated with any kind of impatience. Caring and attentive. Not what you expect from a phone company that shouldnt care. These folks do. And we appreciated it. By the way, love our new Galaxy S10s.

Got a new phone. The staff are generally pretty helpful but like anyplace that gets busy sometimes the wait can be long. So if you are going on your lunch break better schedule an appointment or plan to be there longer than maybe when they open or mid afternoon.
What excellent customer service. I am so happy we chose this store. Couldnt have been treated any better. Highly recommend...think it was Ronny who made our experience one we wont forget.

The one and only main reason that I give such a high rating for this particular store is because of a wonderful helpful knowledgeable courteous kind and knows the products and he is a (manager) the name of *JAMES*. This is the only Verizon store that I would ever consider going again and he deserves a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10 he really needs to be acknowledged and appreciated by upper management. Verizon stores and customer service has really slipped in the last several years, as Ive been a loyal customer for 10 years. But when my contract Runs Out I will be finding a new carrier
I have been using this location for a couple of years now and I always have excellent service. I usually find 1 or 2 associates that I work with on a regular basis not only because they are friendly but also because now they are familiar with my account. They are very good about greeting you when you enter and helping to make sure they answer all of your questions.
Why would they take your phone in the back room for 30 minutes and then come out and replace the plastic cover in 5 minutes in front of you? What were they doing with my phone?Good job on the cover though.
Quiet possibly the worst Verizon store I have been in. I got directions to what I asked for, while everyone else was escorted around like royalty. Stood there in the middle of the store to make my purchase for a solid 15 minutes without the slightest hint of anyone wanting to help me. I have questions and wanting to spend a good deal of money today if only I was helped.

Go on Saturday morning before 10. You can be in and out in 15 minutes. The gentleman I spoke with could not have been more helpful. Great service!EDIT: This year purchased an S20 Ultra only to find there is a design issue with the Camera. I was past the normal return window but Brad and Bree (Manager) did an amazing job.These folks know how to deal with Customers. They will be the ONLY VZW store I visit from now on. They spend an hour getting corporate approval. Mission accomplished!! Thanks all!!!
Only reason this place got 4 stars is because of the employee I only deal with, Nick, if it wasnt for him this place would get one star, he is the best salesman there. He knows his stuff and is there to help you instead of acting like the others just trying to get a sale and acting like a robot reading from a script. They have a good selection of phones, other then that this place is kinda a mad house. All the employees besides Nick act like they have no idea what they are doing. They never know their promotions or sales or how to ring them up and youll be lucky if they even set up your new account correctly. Verizon customer service has become a joke. No matter how long you been a customer with them or how often you buy new phones from them they never help you out on getting a better deal. No customer loyalty discounts at all. Theyve totally become a big money hungry corporation. A+ to Nick tho, thanks for always looking out and helping me any time I need to come into the store. You know your stuff and your good at your job, your other coworkers need to take some pointers from you.
Walked in just before close on Sunday in need of a new phone. Nick, the sales representative greeted us when we walked in. I informed him of what phone and plan I was looking for and he was quick to meet these requests. Application process was quick and simple. Nick was also very knowledgeable of the other products and asseccories in the store. He let me look at the different colors available for the model phone I wanted and even installed my screen protector for me! Great experience. If I ever need help with my phone or plan, I know where to go and who to ask.
The service is absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist with anything and extremely patient. This is one of our favorite stores. The other is over on Woodruff. I definitely recommend this one.

Was going to be a positive review but its 10-15-2019 at 3pm and no one at the store will answer. I call Verizon customer service and even they cant get anyone to answer. Im still on hold because even the manager for that location isnt answering. How hard is it to atleast answer and say please hold? Love Verizon but this location need to get it together.Update: When someone finally answered they said they were too swamped to simply look up the tracking info on my order and said you can just come in...... Seriously why did I even call? Now he has me and customer service on hold. What in the world is going on at that location?

Maybe Im just lucky, but my wife and I have gone on several occasions over the years and have had knowledgeable CSRs help us and resolve all but one issue (that being my wifes Blackberry- and that issue was with Blackberry). I even had an issue while traveling in Oklahoma and the staff there went above and beyond to resolve my issue very quickly. Sorry to hear some have had problems. I know Verizon (in general) is always looking for ways to add to the bill, but I do my research beforehand and know what to expect and what recourse I have to prevent it.

Verizon is great and has there in store service down. As far as outside the store they have the best coverage. That is unless you work at BMW... then they have almost no coverage. But that is the realy only down side to Verizon. A little pricy but the coverage is worth it for the most part. This particular store is clean and had informed staff.

Whenever I go into this store I have to wait for what seem like unnecessary amounts of time. I see employees just walking around, while I just need a question answered. Maybe multitasking at a store like this is harder than I think. But that doesnt even factor into my rating, just thought it should be mentioned if you plan on going in.The reason for my low rating is when I was finally helped the man assisting me seemed so disgruntled with me as soon as I spoke. I had a very simple objective and I tried to explain it as clearly as I could to benefit the both of us, but his response was just more huffs and puffs. As soon as we made progress on getting me what I needed he informed me there was an issue on my account preventing me from upgrading my phone. Thats fine, and understandable. So when I asked for him to explain the issue and how I can resolve it he just said look man, I cant explain it any other way! While stepping away with his arms open. So unfortunately because I wasnt completely fluent in Verizon terminology I was unable to receive help and caused a grown man to have a hissy fit. Total time with him was under 5 minutes.Wes at the woodruff road location by Whole Foods is awesome. Go see him if you need anything.

I wouldnt recommend this location since theyre understaffed and its almost impossible to ask simple questions. Ive waited over an hour twice there without speaking to anyone except the attendant that asks your name. I think they move you to the back of the list if youre not there to buy something.

Good location but just like the other corporate locations, expect a wait. That said, the staff and management are friendly and accommodating and I would definitely recommend this location.
They are more then happy to help you update to a new phone so they can keep you for another 2 years. But not so good for when you have a problem they start to try to help you but quick to push you off in another direction just to be dropped by someone else or you are sooo tired of explaining the problem you give up yourself. I have been with Verizon for more then 10 years I will be moving on to another provider as soon as I get our phones paid off and sooner if I can find a provider to pay them off for changing.

Ive been into the store several times over the years, and they have always been extremely friendly and efficient.
Customer service is really not good. The greeter not good with helping people. So eager to tell you they, don’t do before he listens to what the whole problem is first!!!! I’ve been a Verizon customer for over 25 years and just seems like every year customer service goes a little more down hill. Ok I’m though my ranting.

I was tricked into getting a plan that I spoke with a sales guy about at this store and I picked this plan for the service/offerings and the good price I was shown. Now that I have signed my name to this plan and see the first bill, I can see that I was wronged. The bill is much higher than I was shown. If you want to know who this was, just contact me, but better yet: stay away from Verizon.

After feeling very rushed at Verizons Woodruff Road location a few days earlier, we decided to visit the Wade Hampton location. Going in an hour before closing on a Friday afternoon, we were not hopeful for a positive experience. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement!The young lady at the front of the store checking customers in was friendly and even found an adapter for me to charge an old phone we were bring in. When it was our turn, we worked with Cory Atkins; we can say with no hesitation, he is the best. We were porting 3 numbers from 2 different carriers and he did not even flinch at the insanity of it all. Not only is he knowledgeable, he is personable; he took excellent care of us. If you are considering a switch, do yourself a favor and go see Cory at Verizon on Wade Hampton Blvd.
All this phone company and the insurance company (Asurion) want to do is take your money. I broke my phone. I had to pay the full retail price which was around $800 and then another $200 deductible to get a replacement.I switched to unlimited data and it is the SLOWEST my phone has ever been in all the years I have has Verizon. Sometimes I cant even get a page on the internet to load at all. Extremely unsatisfied with all the money that has been spent and the service is subpar.
