I have never been to a save mart before this place. The employees were decent but the self check out was awkward.

Only place to buy good fresh fish in town. Good buys today on produce in good condition. Very nice, efficient young cashier. No complaints.

Great local market. Only one that carries the awesome Oatly coffee creamer (when in stock) and Finnish Long Drink. Great produce that is usually lower priced than the other markets.

I do most of my shopping at this store. If only to pick up milk. Rosas in a glass bottle. Sooo cold, with a taste I cant explain. Fresh, wonderful...

Clean. Bright. Very nice selection of GOOD FOOD items at pretty fair prices. Great for organic and non GMO, sugar free, keto and just generally good, clean, healthy food. Plus, nearly all the staff there are nice and kind and helpful, friendly people.

The fried chicken is a lot better than Albertsons

Save Mart is my favorite supermarket in Tehachapi. Consistently friendly, helpful employees; excellent selection of products. Prices are currently through the roof, but thats the same story everywhere right now (May, 2021).

Only one line open. It was for express, 15 items or less but the customer being checked out had a heaping cart! There were two other customers besides us looking to check out. Finally a second check out was opened. Otherwise things were fine.

Save Mart is m favorite grocery store in Tehachapi. They have almost anything you could need for groceries. The quality of food in their cold deli and bakery are pretty good and my family gets most of their birthday cakes from this store. Has lighter frosting instead of sugar available. The staff is also very friendly. This place is pretty much the anti Walmart in town and checkout is a breeze. Highly recommended, but have noticed Walmart can be cheaper. It all depends on what you need and how much.

I love this place. I have shopped there at times when I am in the area and have always found what I was after, mainly organic food, especially meats.

I shop here all the time. The produce is fresh, the meat is great and the staff is friendly.

I would like to thank the Bakery making my husbands 70th birthday cake so delicious. It was chocolate with raspberry filling..so many compliments from our guest... People went back for a second piece.... Thumbs up 5 star delicious 😊.

I shop here everytime i need my meats and vegetables, their apple selection has been great every time, their berries seem to always be on sale yet be good for so long. The sea food is also out standing; clams where great they know the difference between old and new /good and bad clams so they give you o ly the good ones. Everything is in order and clean. Then to customer service is out standing always communicating and encouraging. They make such great efforts. Close to five star. I want to leave off with for a small town definitely worth it the reward system with the phone number is worth it and the coupons are great and plentiful.

After 9pm is the time to shop, get in and outta there fast. Friendly employees and always helpful. front row parking and better prices then across the street at Alb********!

Love this store. Friendly staff, lots of variety, good meats and vegetables sections. Bakery with fresh breads. Totally revamped interior last year. Large and small carts and baskets for quick trips or major food buying. Decent prices. I go alot since its not a big box store but more of a local place. In a shopping center with Sears, Rite Aid, Tea Donuts, and other small stores. More shopping options across the streets. Fast food places and good restaurants all over.

I have been shopping at Savemart my entire life, and even worked there for a short stint. This is a clean store with great service and a hometown feel. Recent renovations are great and Im enjoying expanded options.

Savemart is by far the very best grovery store we have in this town. Sorry Albertsons. Their prices are very reasonable. When you have been here a while, you learn just exactly where to go in this store, when your in a hurry and you need a certain item. They even have the registers that you can check your self out on. Most of all, its the employees. I have been going to SaveMart for close to 17 years now. One of the managers there is Victor. He is a household name in this town and very well liked. He is real. You can always see him right next to the men and women that work under him. He has his sleeves rolled up and $ometimes he workers harder then they do. If you dint know he was a manager, you would never tell by watching him work with the others staff members. Everyone from the Deli to the Meat and Produce dept. To the checkers and the baggers....they are happy, courtious people who are loyal and anxious to help their customers. I love them all.

I loved this market. Not only is it nice and clean, but there food there is amazing. You should really give this place a look around.

Its a grocery store. The prices arent amazing, and neither is the selection, but thats to be expected in a small town like Tehachapi. Its fine for small, quick trips, but I recommend buying your bulk groceries out of town at Costco or Sams Club, then picking up smaller necessities at the local grocery store, like this Save Mart.

I like shopping here because its smaller (Albertsons is feels way too big and spread out...) and always has what I need. And now it has a great new food court!! The tacos were delish!

Great variety of frozen food

On 1/8 around 4:30 PM I was purchasing meat near the deli and began to hear snickering as I walked by. I ignored it and kept looking around. Only to pull my head up to see the same two men looking at me and smirking like they had just shared some sick joke. The shorter tattooed deli man walked back out and shouted to the other Makes you sick to your stomach doesnt it? all while standing right next to me.Now look, Im no genius but Im not an idiot. Process of elimination tells me they were 100% talking about me. Im very tall for a woman so maybe my presence intimidated them seeing as they were both slightly overweight and around 57. The comment had transphobic undertones so maybe they mistakenly thought I was since they obviously equated my stature to a male. (Because only men are tall apparently)Im also one of the few black people in Tehachapi so maybe that was it. I honestly dont care at this point. I just wanted these men to know I was wide aware of their judgment of me. Whatever it was based in. Apparently you cant grocery shop without being harassed! Won’t shop here again if I can help it!

They are handling the renovations while open very well. The new flooring and displays look great, and the new lights are nice. My only complaint is Ive been shopping there for 20 years and now I have to re-learn where everything is! Haha! Consistanly good people on staff, fair prices, and quality products.

By far the best supermarket in Tehachapi. The employees are always incredibly helpful. All of them are friendly and actually enjoy working there. They also have a lot of vegan and healthy options for purchase which in Tehachapi is kind of hard to find.
