I chose them based on good reviews. But I was wrong. Bad customer experience. Cant fix the AC problem last summer (already spent $750). Brought there twice to fix the AC, another story... AC broke early this summer. So not lasting even a summer. This time they rejected to service my car on a previously agreed price. Told me they would lose money if I dont add 50 bucks on a 1k repair. Very rude. Not trustworthy at all.

Highly recommend Hon-man for your Honda/Acura repair. I had another shop put after market motor mounts on my Honda Accord and it caused a bad vibration inside the car that didn’t feel right. I took it to a dealership for a second opinion and they said all mount were bad but to repair it correctly they wanted way too much. I took it back to the shop that put the aftermarket mounts on and they said the mounts were fine and the problem was my transmission not mounts. After researching I found Hon-man and am grateful I did. They fix my car quickly and stated only 2 mounts were the problem. They even replaced the batteries in my Key fobs. I got my car back today and no more vibration! Thanks Tait and David for your extensive knowledge of Honda’s and the importance of using Honda parts for some repairs. My accord is riding smooth again !!!

Ive been using Hon-Man for my 04 CRV for about 6 yrs. They do quality work, are easy to communicate with about issues, reliable, and honest. They will not recommend work unless it is needed, and they are clear and transparent with pricing. When you do work with them, they will have suggested maintenance/repairs, but they will indicate how urgent it might be and what the cost would be, so you can plan/prioritize. I had never had a better experience with auto mechanics. If you have a Honda or Acura, bring it here.

I didnt want to make a review until I put some miles on her and let me tell you my accord has never run better!Like many transplants in AZ, I needed a good mechanic. Being a woman it can be sometimes intimidating going to a mechanic and not knowing the type of service youll get. But David was fair and honest! He told me the proper diagnosis of my car answered any question that I had and worked with me.I would also like to add, that it was really short notice on my part so they were VERY accommodating on when my car would be fixed. Having gone to BIG O for years and trusting them with my engine, which Ive serviced religiously over the last few years.... I had my car die while on the road. I called Hon Man because Big O refused to work on it despite the error code of misfire which is quite common. The problem went way deeper than just a misfire and Tait and his team took the time to dig and dig until they found the cause of the problem. He was professional in the delivery that my car had been the victim of human error and shoddy parts, etc. He pinpointed exactly the issue and the cost to fix my car is not nearly what I thought it would be. He is professional, HONEST, and reasonably priced and takes the time to explain exactly what the issues are, without talking down to me because Im not a car-dude. I will be giving these guys my business for the rest of my Honda-car driving. CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH.

I took my 2005 Honda Accord in for an oil change and a overall inspection after I had moved here from Alaska. Watching the manager work as I sat in the waiting room was so fun. Its like watching an maestro lead a well-tuned orchestra. He was thorough, polite, informed and informative. When my car was done, he talked to me directly about its status. Its probably the first time I didnt feel intimidated talking to mechanic. He didnt push me (or other patrons he spoke to) to do a lot of work, but rather talked about the wear on various parts and how they would watch them to be sure we got the longest life out of them in safe way. He even noticed I needed a battery in my key and replaced it. My son and daughter-in-law take their Hondas to Hon-Man. Ive wondered before if there isnt a closer place to get an oil change, but after my experience with Hon-man, Im sure driving a little bit extra to have high Hon-Man get to know and work on your car is completely worth it.

Amazing place. Service is on point and honest. We are considering a new vehicle soon and I seriously wanna stay within the Honda or Acura family so we can stay here. They have a clean place that makes it easy to wait for your vehicle. Its even kid friendly and I have had to wait here with my little on a few occasions.

These guys are great, super honest and knowledgeable. I brought my 94 integra in for a diagnostic, ultimately there was a lot of work needed on my existing engine along with other issues but I was able to get a breakdown of what it was going to take to get me running at a minimum with the best parts available and not autozone junk. I would send my mother or sister here for a issue with their Honda’s without a second thought. Tait took really good care of me and never tried to sell me on getting this car fixed, a experience you really can’t take for granted .

Been using Hon-man for the past 8 years, and have referred others there. They are honest, professional and reasonably priced. I sent my pastor there with his Odyssey for a second opinion. Another shop had diagnosed his problem as needind a complete brake job for about $1000. Hon-man did a free check-in and fixed the problem for no cost. His brakes were good; there was some gravel up in the disc brake pads that they removed, and sent him on his way. Honesty counts!

Outstanding service, honest pricing and great recommendations on part choices. No extra work was needed from original quote and car is working great. Hon-man knew the exact problem of my Honda Pilot when we looked at it in the parking lot. He was able to get the part and fix the alternator that day. Okay wow. I used to be an honored customer at Firestone, until they gave me an absurd price telling me that my power steering pump was failing and that I needed a brand new one for $531. First of all, the way my bank account is set up.... I was then suggested to take my car here, so I called the same day and had asked about my power steering pump. He informed me so much about what could be the issue and that its common for Honda CR-Vs to reseal the power steering pump and NOT to replace the whole thing. He gave me a better price, and walked me through the steps on what he had to do so I understood where the problem was at. I asked if he could work on it same-day and guess what? They did! Once he diagnosed the problem he told me that his assumptions were right! Almost $200 saved and I didnt even need my power steering pump replaced. Very trustworthy and informing - Im definitely coming here if I have anymore issues with my Honda!!

The BEST, professional Honda repair shop in Arizona! I drove from Flagstaff to get my timing belt replaced and my valves adjusted on my Civic. They offered the best pricing to do the job, and beat Flagstaff shop prices by half the cost! The staff even suggested great places for me to eat and some fun recreation to do in the area while my car was getting its repairs. I ended up riding my bike all around Scottsdale and Tempe, which was a blast, and then picked up my car in the afternoon. The work done was solid!

Tait, David, and crew do great work -- from the analysis, to estimating and -- most importantly -- doing great work. They use Factory parts (vs aftermarket junk). My 2010 Crosstour with 132k miles is running like new. And, as advertised, their prices are better than competitive. HIGHLY recommended.

After experiencing the dishonesty of both the dealerships and other mechanics it was a huge relief to find Hon-Man. Had a major head gasket issue on my Acura and the dealer’s quote was outrageous. Ive owned several Hondas and have had them serviced at different shops throughout the country as Ive moved about; I truly have to say that HON-MAN surpasses them all. Love Hon-man, they make maintenance on my car a hassle free process. I set up oil changes/checkup online and wait around an hour in the shop on free wifi and everything is all good! They keep me posted of any out of the ordinary fixes they see in the future so I can see them coming and budget for them, and theyve never hit me with unexpected costs. Ive lost a proprietary bolt to fasten down my battery before and when they noticed, they looked up the part ($93) and recommended I go buy a hose clamp for $3 instead to hold it down. Great, honest shop and Im sad to think Ill have to search hard a comparable shop if I ever move or dont own a Honda.

I have enjoyed the quality service and workmanship of Hon-man for several years now, but this past summer (2017) they went far above and beyond what I ever imagined possible. I wont go into all the details, but I want to paint an accurate picture.I had my vehicle checked out before a road trip to see the total solar eclipse. Everything went great and we were within 5 hours of home when something went very wrong. We left a voicemail for Hon-man, got towed to a shop in the nearest town, and found a place to stay the night.Tate at Hon-man did some checking, and he found something in his paperwork for my recent service that didnt look right. He talked to the shop where my vehicle was, and based on what the vehicle presented and what the records showed, Tate decided that one of his techs had made a mistake that caused the problem I experienced some 1600 miles later.Heres the thing: Tate took care of it. He took care of it to a degree that is almost ridiculous because hes a good man and thats what good men do.Hon-man only services Honda and Acura vehicles. I like those anyway, but my experiences with Hon-man mean that I will go out of my way to continue to own such a vehicle just to keep using this shop.If you own a Honda or Acura and want to be taken care of, go to Hon-man.

Ive been here for about 10 minutes and have received great service from David. Within minutes my power steering issue was being looked at. He checked for leaks under the hood. When that wasnt enough, he put my car on a lift and looked into the problem some more. Dont know what the damage is yet, but I appreciate good service with a kind heart any day!

I had a fairly urgent issue with my 05 honda odyssey and the very nice staff took great care of the problem in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend this hard to find shop. The courtesy and customer service exhibited is even more difficult to find than their location.

I have been using Tate for years to keep my Hondas in top condition. Twice he has talked me out of expensive repairs, when my wallet was open and dripping money, because the sound I described was actually normal Honda stuff, or he knew the problem could be safely ignored for a few more months. I feel like we are in a partnership with my cars; he knows them as well as I do. Best mechanic I have ever dealt with.
