By far the best and quickest car buying experience in my adult life. Dan the owner is super kind, down to earth and none of the dealership antics you find elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE !!!Facts...I purchased a Mercedes that had transmission problems but was not told it did and I trusted the seller because he provided a CAR FACTS that did not show problems with the transmission or any problems at all with the vehicle. The second day I had the vehicle one of the air shocks went out and of course they fixed it because I still had a couple of payments to give the seller. Shortly after I paid off the vehicle not even two months of having it the engine light came on and was told to purchase a third party extended warranty never was I offered one from the seller a matter of FACT my purchase was sold as is no warranty and was not offered to return the vehicle for a refund once the seller knew it had engine problems that in fact were transmission problems that they knew it had because when I ended up taking the vehicle to a Mercedes dealership to find out why the engine light came on they had a history that the vehicle was taken in a couple of months ago right around the time I purchased it due to transmission problems and did not have it fixed. HONESTY from the seller was not the case. If I was told upfront the vehicle had problems I NEVER would have purchased it. After several attempts and ignored calls to the seller I ended up having to come out of pocket $3200 for transmission repairs that Morton Morton Company should have paid or at least offered to repair. Lesson learned just cause a seller is nice does not mean they are honest. NEVER never will I referrer ANYONE HERE.
Please save yourself from being SCAMMED! They are able to show a potential buyer a clean carfax even though the vehicle is in need of MAJOR repairs. The warranty they sell is an absolute joke, that now the Mercedes dealership is no longer accepting it. Once its known that you are contacting them due to issues within days of purchase; they will start avoiding your calls and then eventually BLOCKED you! *please note* the one star was only given so it would allow my review to be posted.
When we decided to purchase a used vehicle, we decided to purchase from a dealership rather than a private party in the hopes that the chance of getting a lemon would be significantly reduced. Unfortunately for us, that has not been the case and weve had more problems with the vehicle we purchased from here than any vehicle weve purchased EVER in our 27 years of purchasing vehicles. The vehicle had less than 121,000 miles on it and we had significant problems with it almost immediately (within 15 days and 500 miles of first purchasing). Of course the problems all fell into categories of work excluded from the warranty the dealership was so proud to include. I contacted the office shortly after purchasing, and while the vehicle was still under warranty, and they promised me someone would call me back and I never heard back from anyone again. So Ive got a vehicle with AC that does not work properly, just had to replace the main computer, and it still runs like garbage. Super disappointed and I would not purchase from them again. Only reason I gave two stars instead of less was because they were friendly when we did the actual transaction and did offer to have their mechanic look at the air RIGHT after we bought it because that was something they had agreed to fix before we agreed to purchase the vehicle, but then they didnt actually get it fixed before we purchased it. Unfortunately for us, what ever their mechanic did to fix it didnt last. To some extent we realize that this is a risk you run any time you purchase a used vehicle. At minimum people should call you back when they say they will....
I recently sold my Range Rover to Morton Motor Company and it was an awesome experience. I was going to sell it to another dealer and Morton gave me a better price and picked up the car and handed me a check. No BS and sales tactics. I also learned that they detail cars and boats.I had them detail my 2019 car and they made it look like it did when I drove off the showroom floor. I can’t wait to have them detail my boat.I rarely write reviews, but since I buy a lot of cars and after this first class experience, I felt that this review was warranted.I am going to be doing a lot of business with Morton Motor Company and so should you!CH
I dread going to car dealerships. I have always felt like I have to be on guard of being ripped off. The experience I had with Dan was anything but that! He was a straight shooter with me through the entire experience. I told him what my budget was and what I could afford in monthly payments. He worked tirelessly to make sure he could get me a deal that I was comfortable with. Not even for a second did I feel pressured into making a decision that I wasnt 100% sure that I wanted to commit to. When the deal was all said and done, there were no additional or hidden fees. Weve used this company various times to both buy and sell cars. My favorite part of their great service is that I dont have to have any one come to my house to see a car Im selling. Morton vets all prospects and no creepers or haggling for me to cope with. And I get top dollar vs trade in values from car dealerships.I also like their great resources for maintenance vs going to the dealership. Did you know some Service Departments at Dealerships are paid on commission? Thats just wrong.

I bought a Lexus convertible from this business. A few weeks into ownership found that both the side mirrors were glued on. Just found out that the bumper was also glued on. Didnt notice this at first, but have now spent 2 thousand dollars on body work which I wasnt expecting with perfect carfax etc. Original purchase price was 18k, which wasnt that much of a discount over KBB. When I contacted them about the mirrors, they claimed to not know about the defects and offered me a free car detail for my troubles, which I declined. I suppose one could assume that they did not know about these problems with the car....though I found this doubtful. I would avoid this business.
