I just purchased a 2014 Mini Cooper S Countryman from Carvana and it is amazing! The online shopping experience was very friendly and intuitive. The approval process was quick and efficient. There was a bit of an issue with the employment verification, but that was sorted out and the final approval and purchase went very quick. I got the terms and monthly payment that I was looking for and Carvana even delivered the vehicle ahead of schedule, which was great for me! My father has purchased 2 Mini Cooper Countryman’s from Carvana and has been very pleased with them. I’m glad to join the family and will recommend them to anyone and everyone that is looking to purchase a vehicle. Definitely check out Carvana! I can’t recommend them enough! My experience with Carvana started off great - it was really easy to get in touch with Customer Service and they were really patient with my questions and the delivery of the car was smooth. The SUV was a decent price, is a 2015 with low mileage so we figured it would last our family at least a few years. Wrong. Then the problems started happening. They provide a 7 day buy back guarantee as well as a 100 day warranty, however on the 8th day, we started having major problems with the car and realized we were sold a lemon. The RPM went all over the place when driving and the A/C stopped working. We took it in to get fixed and it was covered, however a couple of weeks later, same issues. Took it in again, fixed because there were additional issues causing the A/C to have a costly leak. Very shortly after the 100 day warranty was up, as I was unloading groceries from the trunk while holding my baby, the door made a loud noise and nearly fell on our heads. Now the back door doesn’t work AND the rpm is still going crazy. This is the only car our family has - we have 3 small children, just got this car at the end of June and can’t afford to keep getting it fixed AND paying for pricey rentals on top of that. It’s so frustrating and now we feel like we can’t even go anywhere because our children aren’t safe in this practically new car. I wish I had the option to sell it back or trade it in for the price of my loan but of course, my inquiries haven’t been returned. Save your time and money and go to a reputable dealership.

I purchased a car from Carvana on 6/1/21. Now, almost 5 months later, I do not have my title and plates. Under Texas state law, a dealership has 30 calendar days from the sale date to send the title paperwork to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Or 45 days if the dealership financed the car purchase. I paid cash.On one of my recent calls, the customer advocate said Carvana does not have the title to the car. She explained the previous lienholder (VW) would not release the title because the seller did not sign something. The carfax they gave me at delivery and subsequent report I bought do not show a lien on the car.Today I called, and the advocate said that I needed to sign some papers. The papers they claimed I needed to sign were signed and over-nighted back to them almost 3 weeks ago. The advocate seemed surprised that this particular stalling technique had already been used. They will also blame it on your state and covid. You will even start to blame yourself. Carvana does not believe in holding itself accountable.I would like to think they are handling this problem, but there is a national problem with Carvana not delivering car titles. Do an online search first before you buy from them. Its a gamble, if it all works out...then consider yourself lucky. Im four days away from having a car that I can no longer legally drive.I have made complaints with the Texas Attorney General and the DMV. Because I didnt know there would ever possibly be a problem, I did not withdraw my consent for arbitration, so I cannot legally sue or join any class action suit. By the way, when you effortlessly e-sign your paperwork, one of the forms you will sign says there could be delays in processing and titling, and you acknowledge this and will be responsible for tickets if your temporary plates expire. Oh, and after they drop off that car, they will never call you to ask is everything ok? They got your money, and they are done with you.When you put out a complaint or review about them, they will respond back publicly that they are sorry to hear about that and they will have an advocate look into it. Yet, strangely, they never try to resolve the problem.It has been a non-stop headache dealing with Carvana over the last three months. So, to sum it all up...No...I would not recommend Carvana.

I have contacted Carvana several time, and have not been contacted back. I was held at Gunpoint by PHX PD as the plates on my car do not match the car. Ive called in several times to get this resolved and each time I am either hung up on or left on hold for over an hour. There has been issue after issue with the vehicle purchase. If you are in the market for a car, Please look up all reviews before making a selection, as it could cost you thousands like it did me in the mater of a few weeks. I have submitted a complaint with voice recording to the BBB, so they to can see they type of customer service that was provided.

Such an easy and smooth experience. I was able to find a car that fit into my budget that was big enough for my whole family. I was also able to see all of the issues right there from the site. My drop off experience was amazing! The delivery guy was super knowledgeable and made sure that we loved the car before he left. Within the 7 day test period we discovered a piece a trim that had come loose that was not seen before. Carvana happily is going to get that repaired. They even offered to bring me a different vehicle to test if that one was not working for us. I am so happy with my experience, I do not think I will ever shop a dealership lot again. Thank you Carvana!!!

While I didnt visit the location due to Covid-19 restrictions, the entire process was straightforward and hassle free. I called once and spoke to Esmeralda and she assured me everything was in order and the next call I would be receiving was from the company telling me the car was on its way! Maria, who dropped my car off was awesome! She took the time to put the bow on for me before I was able to take it for a spin around the block. I love my new car and have recommended Carvana to my friends and coworkers whenever they are in the market to buy a car!

A little backstory:I was pre-approved for a loan of $15,000. A 2009 MINI Cooper was delivered and I handed over the check. Date of delivery of vehicle 8/14/2021.Original sales price $11,590. I added the Carvana Care Warranty $2,150, plus added taxes and fees totaling $14, 816.49. Credit union stated the value & price is more than 125% of what they will cover. So I followed the steps to cancel the warranty which would decrease the $2,150. Meaning I should only have to pay the sales tax, fees & registration ($1,100) and I was willing to swipe my card to take care of what the credit union wouldn’t cover. Now, August 24th the credit union issued a verification for the check totaling $11,590. I have proof of the warranty being canceled YET Carvana declared that I do a down payment of $3,336.49 which is more than taxes and fees that I agreed I’d pay for… they were still demanding that I pay them this amount.Why would I pay for something (the warranty coverage) I no longer have and be bamboozled out of my money?Overall, The car was great. I originally purchased this car for my daughter for her 18th Birthday and she loved it. However, the experience with Carvana was not so great. There was an issue with my financial institution not willing to pay over 125% of the value of the vehicle, and the car was priced higher along with and added warranty. After canceling the warranty, Carvana insisted that I pay for the warranty (meaning me having to pay them for something that I no longer had). I called daily in hopes to get them to understand that they would have to refund me the funds they requested that I should pay. I asked to speak with someone in upper management to resolve this, there was lack of communication, and one of the gentlemen that finally understood me and finally responded stated that the contract & treasury department still wanted me to pay for something that I was not obligated to pay for. He understood, but the higher ups were still insisting that I paid more than what is the sales price, taxes & fees. Overall, this process has been disappointing and a dreadful experience for me and my daughter. Still today 9/17/21, they have failed to resolve this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING CARVANA TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE! The customer service is not the greatest, and they are NOT understanding at all!!!! I have been on the phone several times, got hung up on, never received returned calls back after being told they will “call” you. I refuse to keep going back and forth with these people and not getting anywhere! Since I’ve gotten no response or follow through, I have canceled the check from the credit union and waiting for them to schedule a pick up time to get their vehicle. I will do business elsewhere! Thank you Carvana for wasting my time & energy AS WELL AS ruining my gift to my daughter for her 18th Birthday!I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH CARVANA!

What a super cool experience! I went with my stepdaughter to the vending machine to get her new car after making her purchase online. Superior experience compared to any dealership I have ever been to. It only took like 5 minutes! She signed a few papers, dropped her coin in the slot, and out came her car. The employee who assisted us was very thorough and friendly. Carvana was the easiest and most low stress car purchasing experience I have ever witnessed!

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because the customer service was adequate, plus google won’t let me leave 0. It would be a drastic understatement to say my experience attempting to buy a car through Carvana was poor. Not only was the car I was going to purchase delayed over 10 days the night before my scheduled delivery, two separate times, I then received the title for the car, which I cancelled, never paid for, nor received. Then when I sent back the title, about a month later, I receive an email from Carvana asking me to send the title back, which was sent a month ago. The incompetency is frightening. Do yourself a favor and go straight to the dealer.

I would need 10-15 pages to explain the lies and stress Carvana put me through. To sum things up it took legal action from my end to get a response from them and my vehicle back. How they treated my family until we stood up for ourselves with legal representation was disgusting. Due to my personal experience I would strongly suggest that you and anyone you care about refrain from using Carvana. I’m not saying this to be disrespectful but I would truly give Carvana 0 stars if it was possible, the worst consumer experience of my life.

The transaction started off great. I was very pleased with the delivery process, and really like the car. I started to have serious problems with the car (it was in the shop for 6 days) and found it very difficult to deal with Carvana customer service. There were several calls and text conversations that all ended with someone will get back to me and I never heard a thing. It was very frustrating to have to pursue them to get answers, not to mention the amount of time wasted trying to get a hold of anyone. For me this was a clear example of where a brick-and-mortar dealership has a huge advantage.

I had been looking for a car for while and then I started surfing on the Carvana website. It was simply amazing. I had narrowed my selection in about 15 minutes and was ready to proceed.The next hour was spent on their website filling out forms and uploading documents. And literally that was it. I ordered the car and had to wait 7 days. Additionally, I was able to trade in my car in the same transaction.Here is how I see it. I did not have leave my house, I did not have to haggle with a salesperson, I did not have to negotiate the sales (fantastic) price of my trade in vehicle. My car would be delivered and trade-in picked up. All I did you use the web. Like ordering take out.The car was delivered on time with zero issues.I would highly recommend the Carvana buying experience.

Now that our permanent plates have arrived, I feel I can leave an honest review of my car buying experience with carvana. To put it simply, I couldnt believe I bought a car so easily until the delivery driver pulled up with my honest to goodness dream car on the back of the hauler. Our underwriting team was friendly and worked with our credit union to quickly get financing sorted, and although it was cutting it real close (temp tags expiring in a few days), registration went through without any problems.I will absolutely look at Carvana first when Im in the market again.

Bait and switch on finance interest rate. I was offered 3.59% for 24 months to finance $6922. My pay off amount on my trade in changed from $3300 to actual amount of $3400. Carvana changed my interest rate to 7.0% because of the difference. I knew there would be some reason buying a car from Carvana was a bad idea. They are no different than a dealership!

The worst company to deal with. Purchased a car through them in May. This vehicle is a fully electric, zero emissions car. A week or so after purchase I am contacted telling me I need to run the car through AZ emissions. I let them know I have never been asked to run a new car purchase through emissions, as that is usually completed by the dealer, and that the vehicle is a zero emission vehicle. After dealing with their text help group I was informed again I need to take the car to emissions. Well with the holiday weekend it took me a couple weeks to get the car to emissions. Then I received an email from Carvana threatening legal action as I am in violation of my contract because I had not taken car to emissions. Even though I knew better I took the car to emissions. Guess what the emission people basically laughed in my face as they said it was like taking a golf cart in for emissions. THERE IS NO EMISSIONS TESTING ON ZERO EMISSION VEHICLE in AZ. Spent two hours in testing line only to be told what I already knew. Way to go Carvana! Thats the way to lose repeat business and word of mouth advertising. Please go to a dealer. If you truly want to buy a car online there are several dealers who offer this in the valley as well.

Purchased Dodge Challenger. Waited 2 weeks for delivery - which was OK but on the day of delivery, received a text that the delivery was delayed 2 more weeks. Took the day off of work, adjusted my insurance, organized the down payment, prepped my trade in. The irony is that I received a text yesterday telling me to be ready and today I find out my car hasnt even left Indiana yet (I am on AZ).

I got the car on Carvana specifically to avoid being convinced to spend more money than I had. It was an amazing experience!! The woman even specifically said she wasnt going to bother me unless I had a question. Drove off the lot in 30 minutes, everything signed and ready to go. No hidden fees or gimmicks. Everything was clear and explained, no surprises. And the car EXCEEDED my level of expectation for a used car. 100% on board with buying my cars here, probably for life, cannot recommend it enough.

My only other suggestion is to improve wait times for CSR as they are quite long for new potential customers.The positives for me where the competitive APR, the ease of shopping online, the friendliness of the entire Carvana team, the 7-day trial!Thank you Carvana for the wonderful 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500!For higher review, I would suggest to improve CSR times and ensure underwriting includes all necessary documents initially on the portal to alleviate delivery failures in the future! Additionally, I would be happy to change to a higher rating for a small explanation as to why my delivery was delayed, and a small gift/ accessory for my truck!

My experience was nothing like they advertise on TV. Horrible experience! And I was a cash buyer. I was trying to buy my dream car a C7 Corvette. After starting the buying process spent many hours on the phone and finally got to select a delivery date that was given to me by Carvana. One day before my delivery date we were given 2 1/2 hours to go to the bank, get a cashiers check and download pictures on their website. Ended up having lots of problems doing this and spent a lot of time on the phone & finally got it done- “I thought” then learned had to scramble and get an insurance card for the car that I have not even purchased yet or even seen, so that I could show it to them at the time of purchase/pick up.The next day an hour before my delivery time I got a phone call saying the keys were locked in my car. I’m in the car business and know it’s not possible for that to happen, but went ahead and scheduled a delivery for the next day. The next day, 2 hours before my delivery time, I get a text saying the car would not pass smog and would not be ready for my delivery (this happened for the next three days). I had a trip planned and ended up postponing it for 3 days, I called and talked to a customer advocate named Mo, she promised me over and over she would call good or bad and let me know if the car would be ready for pick up on the next day, she never called and did not answer/return my calls. I have not even purchased the car yet and already the customer service was horrible! They were all just telling me what I wanted to hear and nobody following through. I would never do business with this place. I prefer a car dealership over this mess!

I began the purchase of a car from Carvana in March of this year. From the moment that I decided to make the purchase and contacted them it has been an unmitigated train wreck of an experience.Because I had used a specific e-mail address during my search for a vehicle, it became impossible to correspond with Carvana from a different e-mail address because it wasnt in their system and their system apparently will not allow you to change the address.Contacting them by phone is a grueling experience, you better have lots of time on your hands. Their personnel ( once you finally get someone on the phone ) are friendly but seem to be consistently perplexed by the simplest of questions. Be prepared to be frequently put on hold while the disappear, only to return much later with one more non answer.The submittal of documents is a cumbersome procedure that would try the patience of Mother Theresa.The delivery of the vehicle took considerably longer than they advertise as the vehicle was somewhere else in the country and had to be transported to Phoenix. Upon arrival they were at least able to point out some of the new imperfections that were not in the original inspection report.I paid for the vehicle in cash, I was informed that I must submit an image of the check electronically. My office is within 10 miles of their office but I could not just drop off a check. Apparently paying for the vehicle in full is not what they are used to, this has resulted in a months long attempt to obtain a title for the vehicle.Initially I was told that the registration and title would be forwarded to me by mail. Two months and a number of phone calls later, I finally got my plate and registration. Mind you this was after the first temporary had expired and the second temporary was registered in Tennessee although I live in Arizona. I still do not have a title for the vehicle.Months ago I was told that there was a clerical error and the title would be sent within 5 to 7 days, that didnt happen. Then I was told there was a Cross out in the paperwork and that they would rectify it immediately and forward the title, that didnt happen either. Last week I was told that they were looking in to it and I would be contacted once they had the mystery solved, nobody called with an answer.Today, after in excess of an hour on the phone, the vast majority of it on hold, I was informed that I would need to apply for a title through DMV.Do these people have a clue ???? If in fact this is the correct information ( and I have my doubts ) why did it take months to arrive at this point. Surely I am not the first client to pay cash for a car from this incompetent organization.To express my displeasure, I asked to speak with a supervisor, after an extensive time on hold, I was told that there were many people ahead of me to speak with the supervisor and maybe it would be best if they could call me back in the morning because there was no assurance that Id be reached before they closed. I dont think that the people ahead of me were waiting to congratulate them on their efficiency.I would encourage anyone who wants a car, to go elsewhere, no run elsewhere, as this company could not make the experience any more painful .If it were possible to leave no stars, I would have.

Absolutely the WORST experience ever! Carvana came we signed the paperwork, and we were suppose to get payment for the amount they were offering above our payoff of the loan on the vehicle. We picked the option of using our debit card to receive the funds because they told us that was the quickest way to receive the money instantly upon signing the documents. The man was nice that signed the paperwork with us and explained that worst case scenario we would receive the payment within the hour. An hour later no money was received in our bank account. I called Carvana to see what the problem was and the man told me he would call the local Carvana location, and call me back. I called my credit union to see if they saw an issue as to why the transaction had not been received. The credit union stated that the transaction exceeded the amount that could be processed in or out on our debit card daily, so they increased the daily limit. During my call to my credit union I received a voicemail message stating that since the transaction didnt go through Carvana had issued an overnight check for the amount. I called Carvana explaining to them to put the transaction through again so we could receive the funds instantly. They informed me that the check had already been issued so they cant resubmit the funds on the debit card. The guy that left the voice mail said we would have the check overnight by Monday, but while talking to them over the phone they are telling us Tuesday or Wednesday. We asked to speak to a supervisor, and they said they are so busy that it might take two hours before someone will call us back. We go out to check on the car, and they have already took the car. If we had not called them we would have never found out that there had been a problem with the transaction. We have our only car gone, and have no money for the down payment to buy another car. We are stranded at home for 3-5 days without transportation or the money promised we would receive during the transaction. This is causing us so much stress, we dont know how we are going to get to work on Monday. Can you imagine Arizona the middle of the hot summer without any transportation. Having to wait out in the heat for public transportation. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE BY A COMPANY AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES!!

While I hadnt actually planned on trading in my car, I was curious what the offer would be. Carvana made a whopping $200 offer for a trade in on my 3 year old Altima. Needless to say, I did not accept, and theyve lost what was otherwise a guaranteed sale. For a company that bills itself as being the better alternative to a car dealership, they missed the mark by taking the same games a car dealership plays and then taking those games to the next level.

When we arrived to pick up the car, we were informed that the notification had been sent erroneously. Now theyre telling my partner that their vehicle wont be ready for another ten days.

I began my search for a 2nd car at the beginning of May this year. Locally, most of the salesmen and women are yahoos, jokers, unreliable, and dont follow up. So I began looking into Carvana and the other online company. Carvana is full strength, and the other one seems like Carvana Light. I finally decided on a car using Carvana. Their search features, photos, close-ups, and other detailed information was very good and thorough. In the car buying process, I mustve spoken to 15-20 different customer care advocates. During my purchase process, there were some hiccups, delays, and glitches. My delivery window of 5-15 business days from the day the sale was approved/green-lighted was missed. But about half-way through the whole process, I had Sally Davis begin to help me. She is very attentive to my concerns and her follow-up is top shelf A+. I stopped using other advocates and either asked for her over the phone or communicated w/ her via email. She did step up and go beyond the call of duty in my opinion; so their efforts, accommodations, and final resolution for my delivery was very fair and acceptable. So these additional measures negated the problems/delays. If Carvana upper-management folks are reading this, you have a Star in Sally Davis; give her a handsome raise! Thats all folks... ~Johnny

Worst experience of my life. Hired as a temp, second day the office moved was told I was doing a great job only to receive an email later that evening stating that I failed and was asked never to return. No explanation.This left me feeling like they dont care about their employees and will do whatever it takes to screw over their employees.To make this situation worst one of the recruiter asking if I would like to work for a company that just wrongfully fired me.I dont trust companies that lie to their employees, if you cant be honest with your employees how can I trust you with my personal information.

Just ridiculousness NEVER again! I purchased a 2016 nissan murano cash and scheduled it to be delivered 9/18. Approx 4 hrs before it was supposed to be delivered they text saying its delayed and a rep would call to reschedule delivery. Rep calls but as soon as i confirm i am the customer the call is disconnected and rep doesnt call back. I get an email 2 minutes later saying its rescheduled for 9/23 @5p. I was already in the portal and knew this wasnt the soonest time window so i logged back in and selected the earliest time window which as 9/22@9:30am. Fast fwd to 9/22 9:30a comes and goes and nothing! By noon still nothing so i call and the rep reaches out to the location where the vehicle is. They advise that the previous delivery guy did not leave the key and they are trying to locate him and get it back. They state they would call me the next morning and schedule delivery. Next morning nothing! So i call and this time they say they still cant locate the driver with the key! Wth! You cant locate an employee? How does this happen? Now they say they may have to order a new key and no estimate on delivery! This level of service on such a large purchase is totally unacceptable. Absolutely no compensation for my time wasted, frustration or inconvenience of the non delivery of my vehicle, just oh well smh how are they even in business? This is madness. They completely miss the customer service mark with their lack of communication and low priority to resolve issues. Ill be canceling my order now that i see they are not even trying to resolve it quickly nor make up for their mishaps. What a waste!

Carava’s preferred lender is Bridgecrest. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. We have had our car for a year and half, and dread anytime we need to do anything with the loan (update payment, etc). Read their reviews and you will know I am not alone in that statement. The experience we had purchasing a car with Carvana was amazing, but extremely disappointed they would associate with such an awful company.

Mid June I find the exact car I want on the Carvana site after searching everywhere else first. I jump through the hoops and sign everything, expecting to pick the car up that following Monday. On Sunday they tell me it’s delayed because a window seal is cracked and they are replacing it. Over the next two weeks, they use more excuses, waiting until right before the appointment to cancel. Today they did it again, so I canceled everything and went to a local dealership. It’s a great idea, but flaky people working there. Inspections should be done before listing a car, not right before the pickup appointment.

On the verge of CANCELLING MY ORDER!!! I Live in Arizona and still im having an Absolutely horrible experience SO FAR... I have been waiting now for 2 weeks to receive my vehicle. It was set to be delivered on Thursday 6/17/21. Because I work full time, I had to use a personal day to take time off to receive the vehicle.Thats when I just so happened to log into my app and see a notice saying my car was delayed and that a new appointment would have to be made. What if I never logged onto the app!? I would have been waiting on my only day off for a car that would never show.Now Ive spent countless hours on the phone trying to figure out where the vehicle is, and when it would actually be delivered only to be told random days by different representatives.Finally I get put on with a manager, who just informs me the same, and says, well we can schedule it for Saturday, but the only time left is 4:30pm. So here I am, a frustrated customer, being forced to wait until the evening hours on a weekend day, to POSSIBLY receive my car, but Im willing to bet that that day too, will come and go with no vehicle.Excuses all blamed on transport of vehicle.....

Overall pleased with the purchasing experience and the vehicle. Something that needs to be improved on is the communication. I was told multiple times that local and state sales tax were all included in the price and the plates would be mailed to me. Then in my welcome packet it said otherwise. I live in a self registration state. Then received an email after completion that I should receive my plates in the mail along with my registration. I guess we will see in the next 10-20 days. Just make sure when you speak with someone to get a straight answer. I still can’t and it would have been a deciding factor on my purchase. Now I could most likely incur sales tax and registration fees that I was told were included in the purchase price. The accuracy of communication is not consistent. The floor mats were also missing and the driver called someone that said I should receive them in the next 7 days (from Dec. 30) and here we are on Jan 12 and after speaking with someone finally, they said I would get them 4-6 weeks from the end of the 7 day test drive. This was my first experience buying a car online. Was very hesitant at first, as Ive never purchased a car sight unseen. However, once I researched Carvana, viewed ALOT of YouTube vids and reviews, I decided to go for it. This turned out to be the fastest, easiest, stress-free car purchase of my life. The safety net to all of this is that you get a 7-Day Test Drive, during which time you get to decide whether or not you want to keep the car. Theres NO dealer that will let you take a car off their lot to your home for a 7 day test drive. Instead, you have a salesman in the car with you for a 15 minute test drive. Carvana makes this part totally stress-free and no questions asked if you decide to return the car. Beyond that, the ordering part was sooo easy and theres ZERO pressure to add anything to the purchase. You pay only TT&L.I interacted with several Carvana employees over the course of a few days as I called in to ask questions or provide them info. EVERY employee was extremely respectful, courteous and pleasant. They all made sure that I was both comfortable and happy during the entire purchase process. Im extremely happy with the price. I bought a 2019 Lexus ES350 F Sport with only 5029 miles on the clock. Upon delivery it had only one pinhead sized chip on the front bumper which was barely noticeable. This was clearly pointed out in the display pictures on their website. I appreciate Carvanas transparency in doing this. On delivery day, the employee who did a walk around with me of the car was an awesome young man. He spotted a tiny pinhead sized chip on the windshield. I told him it was no big deal as I understand Im buying a used car. He said no, lets take a pic of the chip and submit a request for correction. Now THATs customer service. I left with the car, extremely happy with its condition and appearance after a 30 minute drive and detailed check. Sure enough, 4 hours after I arrived home, I received a text from Carvana to inform me that had scheduled an appt for me at Safelite to have the windshield replaced. WOW!! I was floored by such prompt action. My windshield was replaced with an OEM Lexus windshield and safety system recalibrated.How could one not be impressed with Carvanas customer service after this? Ill definitely return to Carvana in the future and recommend them to friends and family. This is the new wave of the future. Its a crime that traditional dealers insist on operating in such an antiquated, high-stress, high pressure environment.If youre on the fence about buying a car online, do what i did. I have to say that although my wife and I were skeptical about the whole buying a vehicle online, really sight unseen (in real life) we were very pleased with the whole experience. The website was easy to navigate as we searched for our next new to us vehicle. The choices were UNBELIEVABLE and the available vehicles appeared to be of good quality. Once we found one we liked the financing process was just as easy. As a matter of fact, if we would not have already had a planned trip out of state scheduled we would have been able to have our vehicle in our driveway in 3 days...delivered! We opted to push the delivery to the day after we returned home and that process was just as smooth (notice a theme here?). Our delivery advocate was so professional and courteous, she definitely deserves a kudos (huge shoutout to you LaQuisha from the Norfolk hub!). The vehicle arrived clean and full of gas. It was missing floor mats, but LaQuisha had already made a note after her inspection of the vehicle and is having new floor mats shipped to us. I wish I could give it no stars. I wasted over 2 weeks and 6 phone calls to find out they wanted me to take it 68 miles to drop off. Some of the problems I encountered. I was trying to sell a car out of state; a friend took pics with their phone. They dont accept screen shots on my phone. I have the friend send the originals. They still said they were screen shots or cropped photos (not true). It kept saying hang tight 1-2 days. A week would go by. I never got an email or phone call there was a problem just they needed more information. Then the pic of the odometer expired which sounds crazy to me. Finally after Im approved after 2 weeks they want me to drive 68 miles for a drop off. I would first ask where drop offs are, give yourself 2 weeks and you need to take pics with your phone and not crop. I was going to trade my car in but after this experience I would never use them!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a 2016 Audi A5 from them. The car had 25k miles when I bought it, I only put 15k miles on it and the car had a catastrophic engine failure with only 40k miles on it. They said their hands are tied and there’s nothing they can do and then proceeded to toss the contract in my face. This place claims to not be like those other used car dealers but when it comes down to actually helping their customers in need they turn their backs.

Reserved and purchased a car on august 6th, was supposed to get it on the 9th but not even 5 minutes before my delivery I got a text saying the clutch went out. Now it was pushed back another week or two for parts and such, furious I am at the time I had to accept it and telling me that a 25$ a day “explicit” is supposed to do anything about that? Then I checked online and was all locked in for today being delivered, which was displayed online and email. Then I get a call saying it’s just being repaired and still has to go through emissions too. It’s going to be 18 days for a clutch and whatnot. So I’d say not to go through here since they don’t have the cars “150 point readiness” actually ready. It’s just too much of a hassle and they tell you that you can just look at other cars but why would I do that when I picked out the one I want??? Just one thing after another, I’m only sticking to this car because I’ve been waiting long enough for it and just fed up. The car may look good but 9/10 the car probably has something wrong with it or not ready at all.

Vehicle was supposed to be delivered tomorrow got several texts confirming delivery. Then at 2 pm I get one saying its delayed by 5 days. The only reason I had to take a star off was the website has some issues. They added a few features my vehicle didn’t have. I bought a 2010 Audi A5. It is in superb condition. It took some time to find the one I wanted, but then the process was mostly seamless. The one snafu was when they started to cancel my order because the insurance verification hadnt been completed. On the page that said Documentation, they never asked for insurance documentation and the Delivery page only said to have it ready for the driver. It might sound like a big deal, but I was able to handle it quickly and easily with a phone call. My driver, Cory, was thorough in explaining the process. The car is a dream, and the process -- compared to the dealership game -- is a thousand times more pleasant and enjoyable. You spend more time imagining yourself in your dream car than haggling with the manager about undercoating. I will definitely recommend this to others.

I have used both the selling and buying features of Carvana and was pleased with both. Everyone I worked with during each process was extremely professional and intent on serving me, their customer. During the buying process, I did not have to deal with anyone selling me a car. I did my research, read reviews on the vehicles I wanted, and chose the one I wanted. My experience here was absolutely horrible. I’d give it 0 stars if I could. Two weeks ago, I put in my information for a car through them. It was a great deal, and it was set to be delivered on the 7th. I did all the paperwork and my credit was pulled as the normal process is done. I was approved for the car about 4 hours after that and it seemed pretty perfect and easily. That was until the day before my delivery. I got two texts and emails 31 hours before delivery. The first set of texts and emails stated my car would be delivered. The second set said that there was a delay. I texted back saying I needed this car before the 15th due to travel plans which is why I had it delivered earlier but heard nothing back. With conflicting information and no answer, I called them and the representative Jessica stated that the people didn’t put why my car was delayed in the notes and that it’s mandatory they do so she needs to call. Mind you this is a Tuesday morning so I have to go to work (which is a doctors office). Jessica told me she will have to make multiple calls and then would call me back but due to my clinic having so many patients I asked her to email me an update and she agreed. About an hour later, a representative by the name of Samantha answers my earlier text asking if I needed help. I told her I talked to Jessica and then asked if they had an update for me. After 5 hours of them figuring out what went wrong they then decide to tell me that not only was I not getting a car, they sold it to someone else. AFTER they approved me and did a hard pull on my credit. They never bothered to check on if the car was actually in stock and ready to go until 30 hours prior to delivery. Due to them wasting my time, messing up my credit, and the short notice in which I had to contact them FIRST I asked if I could potentially get a discount on the next vehicle and they said all they could give me was $250 dollars off. I went to a dealership the next day and found a cheaper and better car and will NEVER do business with them as 250 is laughable in comparison to what went wrong. I also never got a follow up email from Jessica.

I just recently purchased my second car from Carvana and it didn’t go so smoothly. Where it went wrong is with the trade-in. Less than two years ago I bought the first car from them and all went extremely well—or so I thought. I paid cash for the car and received the registration and didn’t think any more about it. Turns out that even though I paid cash Carvana had put a lien on my registration and title. So when they delivered the new car and were supposed to pick up the trade in they wouldn’t take it because I couldn’t produce the title. (They shouldn’t have approved the purchase without me sending them a picture of the title.)In order for me to keep the new car they had to rework the deal (in the street for over an hour) so that I ended up financing the entire purchase price which doubled the monthly payment. They said (then) that as soon as I got a copy of the title for the trade-in from my state that they would purchase it at the agreed upon trade in value and then I could refinance the loan—with someone else. (They don’t do refinancing.)When I went to my state to get the title they said that there was a lien on it that I needed to have them release it before they could send me the title. I called Carvana to have the lien released and two weeks later I’ve heard nothing—after calling multiple times to get an update. I’m waiting for a callback now and we’ll see what they say this time.The moral of this story is... be very careful with the registration part of your purchase to avoid the headache that I’m dealing with.On the positive side, the cars themselves have been good quality, beautiful cars with low miles that look new for being five years old.

Other than a delivery delay (one week), the entire process went exactly as advertised. It was truly painless and stress free. I absolutely loved the way I was treated right out the gate. As a single mom I haven’t had a car since 2013 due to medical issues...I was afraid i couldn’t do this on my own without a co-signer. Boy was I wrong. Carvana explained my down payment and when I was worried I wouldn’t be “approved” and I wouldn’t get the car I wanted. The underwriter said let’s not think negative we will make this work. And we did! I got what I wanted and when I picked it up...the car was clean. I love Carvana and will never go to a dealership again! I initially didnt plan to buy a car online and was only looking at their website to get an idea of prices on a Buick Encore. I actually found one that was perfect and at a price I could afford so I saved it as a favorite. A week later I got an email that the price had dropped but I deleted it, thinking I would only buy a car in person so I could kick the tires, so to speak. Another week later, I got an email that the price had dropped again. I decided to talk with my husband about it and we decided together to go for it.I got online to purchase this perfect car and I spent less than 30 minutes filling out the information and signing the forms and was approved. The next day I spoke with an advocate to go over everything and confirm my delivery date. I purchased the car on a Wednesday and it was delivered Saturday on time (actually a bit early!) Our advocate, Oscar, was an absolute gem and went over everything with us. He also wore a mask (as did we) and maintained Covid precautions which we very much appreciated. We checked out the car, drove it, and fell in love with it. The only issue we had was kind of a funny one. Our neighbor noticed that the paper tag said 01/16/2020 on it! I texted Oscar about it and he immediately texted me back, apologized, and got a new tag with 2021 on it sent to me via FedEx overnight. He also sent me a pdf of the tag in case I should get pulled over. I got the new one Tuesday morning so that was not a big deal. How many of us write the past year by mistake in January? I sure do!Every aspect of buying this car was fantastic. The advocates we spoke with on the phone, by text, and in person were all super friendly and knowledgeable. We knew exactly what was happening every step of the way. This was about as easy as ordering groceries online and I have recommended Carvana to everyone I know. Great experience, the delivery was on time, and well communicated. The information collection was tight but worked well. The quote for my old vehicle was acceptable and the new vehicle was near perfect.Near perfect, because the CD player does not work. Electronics are on the list that are not covered under warranty and I tried contacting Carvana to confirm if I could do a warranty claim, and I was also inside my 7 day return window, but the help bot kept messing things up, trying to give me roadside assistance for a busted CD player. The bot told me I would be contacted by a human, but never was 24 hours later.Next day (at this point nearing 30 hours since my initial contact attempt to contact Carvana), I kept calling into the hold queue and chatting with the chat bot, and I did eventually get a human. As always, they are super friendly and professional. They extended my 7 day window to take the car to a dealer to get the CD fixed by warranty or if the warranty claim is denied, I should call Carvana and they would do a waiver.I decided that given the CD Player is the only thing I have found wrong with the car, I will just replace the radio to avoid a trip to the dealer and avoid the Carvana assistance bot. Hopefully I do not regret this...I know Carvana is growing fantastically right now which is great, but the delays for being contacted have a stressful impact. When it takes 36 hours to follow up for something that is broken, a 7 day return window makes little difference.

I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Loved the overall experience. Great inventors with reasonable pricing. Did not have to deal with price negotiation. Much better experience compared to my last purchase from a dealer.Pictures on the app and website honestly show even the smallest of scratches and chips. Very useful to view carfax report right in the app. Seven day evaluation period is a bonus.

I want to thank Carvana for this experience. My days started off horrible. I had to find a car fast. Went online found a car and minutes later i was contacted by Ryan. He did everything in his power to get me through the process. I needed one thing and couldnt get it so i had to change my pick up day. So i finally got what i needed the next day. Ryan personally called with the exciting news congratulating me on being approved. Ryan thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication! My husband and i went to get the car on Tuesday and met Daniel. Daniel was great as well. The process signing papers literally took 5 mins. He gave us our coin to watch our car come down from the tower. Daniel made it fast and so exciting. Thank you both so much for this experience. We will be back. Merry Christmas to you both!!

Overall experience was 4.5.Easy process to shop for my vehicle. There were some issues on the car descriptions I noticed (says it has a sun/moonroof but pics don’t show a roof anything). I like the ability to enter the criteria and search based upon that criteria. The interest rate I received from Carvana was insanely high for me (turns out they couldn’t get a credit score for me 🤷🏽‍♀️). I went to my bank and got a much better rate. Carvana was a little delayed getting the purchase order to my loan officer so it was a scramble to get everything in to get the delivery situated. I wanted to try the vending machine, but not having a vehicle at all, I couldn’t get to the location. The delivery process was quite simple. The driver arrived on time. The car was pretty clean and generally looked as anticipated. I’m happy to have my car and would easily recommend Carvana to someone looking to purchase. 👍🏽

So far the experience was positive and I kept the 2017 GMC Yukon SLE I purchased. Since all Advocates (what Carvana calls their employees) are working from home, it took several calls before they ascertained how to work with my credit union. Delivery was on time 09/17/2020, the Advocates were all responsive and helpful. Hate to say it, but it was more pleasant than my typical car dealership experience.

Carvana has changed my shopping experience for good! This is the easiest way to purchase a new to you vehicle. After shopping for a specific vehicle for over a month and even a specific color, I found the ideal vehicle. Try that with a local dealer! The whole experience was unbelievable and convenient. Customer service was very friendly and personable. Once I found my car the process was very simple. I actually did all the paperwork on line using my phone and was approved with a reasonable interest rate for finance within minutes. No sitting at a dealership for hours! No giving in to the salespeople due to the ploy of exhausting you to the point that you give in to anything they want to charge! Highly recommend Carvana. Also, if you are reluctant to buy based on pictures, number 1: the pictures don’t do it justice. Number 2: once the car was delivered, there was no pressure to rush to judgment, I looked the car over on the delivery truck . Once it was off the truck, I was able to take it for the test drive. Everything they claim with the add was true. Will do this again! Thank you Carvana!

7 days before my 2nd temp expires. This company should be sued for this. Has nothing to do with covid. excuse of the world. It would have been better to just let the car buyer go to the MVD themselves to get the car registered. Now they send me emails saying theyll tell me how to keep driving if my 2nd temp expires. to bad. This was a great process up until this point.Review update:You have to love the response from the company. Must be the same robot you chat with. any idiot can tell this is a fabricated chain response.I have 5 days left on now my 3rd temp registration. I have took the necessary steps to get my own registration and will be seeking reimbursement for the fees carvana took to do the job. It will take me 2 days to do a job they couldnt get done in 80+. Interaction face to face with people who pick up and drop off vehicles were great. Hit or miss with customer service. The concept is great; process has some needed improvement.1-Shipping dates for me changed dramatically from time of purchase to delivery. During conversation with customer service I was informed that they lost my car that I purchased. Took a total of 3 weeks to receive my vehicle after multiple delays. You will pay for shipping so it may be better to utilize one of the vending machines.2-Be cautious of expecting the vehicle to be clean or properly serviced with their inspection. Upon receipt the spray or cleaner left water marks inside and outside of the vehicle; it was apparent that it was a rushed job on cleaning as we found lipstick and bottle caps in our car and it was very dirty inside and out. Had to spend a lot of time cleaning the vehicle. The advertised method of cleaning the vehicle did not reflect the true condition the car was received. Manage expectations.3-The 7 day return is a positive however, good luck scheduling a service appointment to check the vehicle out with the unpredictable delivery and availability of mechanic/service shop.4-Once I was able to have the vehicle thoroughly inspected the shop noted that the engine oil was very dirty and discolored and most likely had not been changed in a very long and careless amount of time. The air filter was very dirty and needed to be replaced. The throttle body was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The transmission had also not been serviced and created a vibration while shifting gears; reason we brought it in; so they had to flush and add new fluid.5-The warranty is actually very good. No issues with them thus far and the dealership that serviced the vehicle had very positive feedback.6-Expect to send a few hundred dollars on maintenance upon arrival. Depending on your expectations this may be something to consider into budget.7-I cannot find the feedback link on their website and waiting on contact to resolve the above mentioned issues.8-I asked to have the vehicle registered in a different state and received the wrong state plates which is going to take a lot of time and money to have it registered properly.Lastly, this business in my opinion is better than carmax and has a lot of potential. Just needs someone to take a look at the processes and clean it up so there is less headache once the vehicle is received. Selling the vehicle was simple and easy. If I hear back from the company I will update on their response and solutions.
