Nice place, great coffee. Beans are refreshing and of the artisan variety judging by the flavor. I like my coffee robust and with a lot of kick. This was not it but it was still very tasty and worthy of a 5 star and another visit.Well done Cafetal.

Best cortado I’ve had anywhere near the valley.All the coffee comes from the owners family coffee farm in Columbia where it’s responsibly farmed. They actually go back to help once a year.Sabastian is the son who grew up in the farm and moved here. He is very personable and calming to talk to.Thanks for the great coffee and conversation Sabastian!!!!I’ll be back whenever I’m within 10 miles... :)

It’s kind of hidden gem. I know that they own a local coffee supply place. That’s an interesting thing, so the quality is expected. The Coffee tastes fresh and it was satisfied experience. The place could be better if the student discount was applied but it’s a reasonable price though.Honestly, I wish if there was a Restroom but overall I am satisfied every time I go. The employees are amazing and they are always friendly. I have experience a wrong order and the owner apologized to me when realized that they were mistaken for me. That’s was cool. But I understand that, so no problem at all. Every time I go, I have good conversations with the people who are there. The place is very worthy and keep up the good work! 😊

This is my coffee shop in Tempe. Its close to the university, reasonably priced, and has delicious food and drinks. Cafetal Coffee also has amazing customer and recognizes customers who come in for the 1st time or the 20th time. This is a true community.

Literally the most delicious coffee in the valley. Also, the chai latte is incredible. 5 stars well earned.

I ordered coffee and received it in the mail from the shop. Being someone who needs to cream and sugar coffee, I drank this coffee black and enjoyed it. The best part of me waking up is knowing that I will have freshly brewed Cafetal Coffee in my cup!

Good coffee and excellent service. I go here fairly regularly (about 3 times a week) and have always been happy. The breakfast sandwiches are simple and delicious and a good option if you need something to eat quickly.

Jay and Stephanie greet you with a smile when you walk in and make delicious drinks and snacks with care. They even have specialty beans, white espresso and rotating bean selections. Great shop, cute and enjoyable decor. Im not a coffee drinker but my wife says this Columbian coffee is the greatest. I do love the food and enjoy the ambiance. My wife loves the arepa’s (like a breakfast sandwich with a flair).

Great place. I wish they could expand more in Tempe.Update (Oct 2021): The prices went up quite significantly since the start of the Fall 21. I am not sure what explains this huge price increase across the menu. Quality is great as before, but the steep prices are annoying.

Ive been here a few times with my wife on Saturday mornings. They have a great choice of drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The frozen mocha was very good! Staff was friendly with a welcome, laid back atmosphere.

Brilliant iced coffee. They make the ice cubes out of iced coffee. Now that is a true stroke of genius. The service here is always quick and friendly. There is a little room to sit down inside, and there a few tables outside, as well. Turn to the north to glimpse great views of A Mountain.

Stopped in today on way home from a window install needed something cold and pick me up and honestly not a fan of the same coffee stops on EVERY corner so I stopped in and Im glad I did the Carmel frozen coffee I ordered blew me away. Everything blended perfect and had the best after taste coffee thats just perfect so If any one every in the area of college ave and veterans way stop in and have a coffee.

I previously complained about the white coffee, the owner personally met me and showed me the beans they use, when I told them the coffee was too acidic he talked to his bean roaster and changed the way the beans are made! I just came back and the white coffee is delicious. It is small business owners like these that really model how businesses should be. He was concerned I was not satisfied with his product and was willing to change something in the line of production to satisfy his customers! Knowing the owner of this business really cares about his customers keeps me coming back.

We came from Houston to our nieces graduation and were looking for good coffee. An employee from another store told us about Cupz. The service and the coffee were the best! The following day we went back for more. Also, the bagels are great!

I always enjoy coming here. Its pretty crowded during the semester, but when the students are gone its a nice place to sit. The service is always friendly, and the dfinks are good. They serve my favorite muffins. They are one of the only places that have the type of muffins I like.

Great coffee, decent food and worth the trip

Cupz is a great little coffee joint nuzzled between the ASU Tempe campus and Sun Devil Stadium in a small strip of food and retail shops. Beyond their very good coffee and friendly service, I enjoy Cupz because once inside, it doesnt feel like its in a commercial building, it just feels kinda cozy, and I like that. They also dont do any of that made-up coffee language like some other green-and-white establishment does. Their black coffee doesnt taste burnt, their lattes heat the (whole) milk up to the correct temperature so it becomes naturally sweet, and they have a great selection of things to eat that arent cooked in a microwave.

Great little coffee shop. Wonderful coffee including the cold brews, sandwich was delicious and the people seem to enjoy their work. Its always fun to stop.

The bagel was nice, but the espresso drinks not so much. The latte tasted bland, and the flat white was just made wrong. Dont think well be going back for coffee.

I come here at least once a week. All of the employees are super nice. I dont think I have ever seen any of them show anything but kindess and generosity to anyone. The pastries are good. They have a selection of milks to choose from including dairy, almond and soy milk. They make really good salads for a coffee shop. Havent tried the sandwiches but the pita and hummus plate is pretty great. Best, freshest hummus I have ever had. Their tomato basil soup is fantastic. I havent had a single bad experience here. The ONE negative thing is the smoothies. not good. Everything else = awesome. Oh! And! Their scones. They have THE best scones that actually have the proper texture for a scone. They have a cranberry scone and a chocolate chip scone.... SO GOOD. Oh yes, and their coffee and teas are also very good. They have loose leaf teas and their coffee doesnt have that burnt taste that starbucks has. Good stuff.

Its not the best coffee Ive had, but it beats Starbucks by a mile. Pretty mediocre, for those who love scoping the local spots around campus, but Ill give it four stars because of the free refills on plain coffees.
