People are more friendly and helpful there than some other locations
They have a large selection of many home protect materials. The customer service is usually helpful and the return process has been easy as well.
Clean store, never too busy, stock is usually good. Good employees are there but knowledge seems limited. Sent to wrong place for Granite Counter tops first, then person there didnt know the sale they had didnt apply to the one we selected. Was frustrating. So shopping with a local installer we found. However normally this not a huge issue. Just make sure you use the website to tell you the isle. Dont rely on employees to know stuff. Though they are very friendly.
Wife has been on my *ss to replace several window screens. Finally decided she was right. Couldnt find the little wheeled tool to push the rubber cord in and asked for help. Staff found the tool ( called a mouse, who knew?) on the top shelf and got a box down with the lift. Got 9 screens done this weekend at a fraction of the cost of paying someone. Im happy, but more importantly, the little hen is happy!
Wanted to give a shout out to Lisa, and assistant manager working this evening 7/7/21. Their customer service was wonderful they definitely went above and beyond. Made up for their co-worker working the customer service desk who doesn’t know much about customer service. Thanks ladies!!
I was in recently to check on if they received the shipment for an outside light. It did not come in they said it would be another 4 days and they should receive some that is what it said when they checked. They recommended that I do will call so I did but the price came up wrong so after waiting for 30 minutes for a manager to come help. I said forget I will just call to see if the to shipment came in. This is one of the may reasons I prefer Lowes over home depot horrible customer service.

Every time I go into this store I have an awesome experience. Today I spent almost 5 hours in there, I was talking with this employee she worked in the lawn and garden department. She was so very helpful and very knowledgeable about what kind of seed and fertilizer I should put on my lawn. It was very helpful! And always always got to get some Milwaukee stuff!!!!! I highly recommend this store!!!!

THE MOST crowded place on earth. The staff is helpful enough. They are trying very hard but could use some help. If you need something to do a project, this is the closest place for me. So what are you gonna do. 3 1/2 stars
Im very pleased with Mary in Customer Service. On 4/11/21 Mary resolved an issue I had with the purchase of a patio set. She handled the situation with poise, professionalism, computer expertise, and compassion, I was completely satisfied with the outcome. The Home Depot is very lucky to have Mary as an employee. Had a hard time finding solar in-ground lights, none were near the outdoor section. No one is spaced 6 ft apart unless you make the effort yourself. There are people walking around with no mask on and not being held accountable for it. Guess what, you actually CAN hold a phone conversation with your mask ON!
The lines for all the Cash registers were 20 yards long, with at least a half hour wait if not longer! I dropped the 5 items I had in my hands and left. My time is precious to me to!

I went into home Depot to purchase some lights for my microwave the young lady that helped me gave me the wrong strength and it cracked my glass underneath the microwave that covered the lights I called next day the manager Chase Wright and he explained to me that he was going to order me a new glass I also was told to come into the store and he gave me a set of lights to replace the ones that were the wrong ones and an extra one he ordered the light covers for me so today March 10th I went to the store because I received a call from James another manager there to pick up my light covers not only had this young gentleman replaced my light covers but they gave me two extra sets of lights you want to talk about customer service they could teach a whole lot of people a whole lot of stuff... Thank you!! To the team at the Thornton Colo Home Depot we will be lifetime customers and we appreciate you....

Bait and switch tactics used- advertised and in stock 72 wide metal shelf for $200, when I arrived though the price was $350 and the rude and entirely unhelpful staff were not willing to help track down the original shelf or give me any kind of price break

Poor service experience. Had to ask three people for a check out before I found someone in a group of employees ignoring me by the check out area. They also decided to help the friend they were talking to before me. Employee I previously asked for help refused and didnt even point me in the right direction. Will be avoiding this branch.

The best part of shopping at home depot is that you could open their app and search for stuff you wanted to buy and they list the aisle and bay numbers, so you dont have to spend alot of time in the store. You could go and and come out pretty quickly.
Went to this store to pick up some fittings, online listed packages of 5 with 6 in stock. Could not find on shelf, could not find an employee to help check the top stock cages, one guy was too busy and said if it shows 6, we are probably out. I asked him to radio some help, he said he was too busy as I informed him 6 packages of 5 is 30, they come in 30 in an unopened box.Left and ordered it off AMAZON.Home Depot sucks.
Lazy unhelpful people refuse to take my phone order for store pickup. Making excuses why they wont help me. I said I would call the other store that helped me before then and she was happy to just get me off phone; likely so she could go back to doing nothing.
Great shopping center. Clean and well stocked, lots of selection on a wide variety of items. The staff are generally very nice and helpful (more so than other Home Depot locations weve visited).
We are regulars at this location, staff has always been helpful and friendly. Erin, the manager, went above and beyond the other day to accommodate and honor us on a mispriced merchandise. We really appreciate Erin and the team for helping out (and following covid guidelines for making us feel safe)!
Usually, I really love Home Depot. My husband and I came here to pick up two tool boxes my husband bought online. The employees came out very quickly to the online pick up spot. The employees brought out 1 toolbox in a box completely packaged, they then brought out the 2nd one not packaged while it was snowing outside wheeled it over and tried to load it up. The toolbox was soaked. Its made of metal and wood. They told us it wasnt a display but Im confused how it wasnt when it was assembled. My husband asked if they had another toolbox packaged and the employees said they did, but it was in the overhead and would take too long to get down. Im fine taking a display if its discounted but not at full price with covid going around. We decided to head back to the store and return the soaking wet toolbox and get one packaged. Wierd experience.

Asked 3 different answers and none were found in the locations that I was given, Went back to the desk and instead of checking in stock they were confused about were to look and nobody went to check the status of the items so we left, Ill give Ace a try instead.

My family just had a horrible experience at the Home Depot in Thornton on Hwy 7. We just spent 8k on new appliances. Opened the microwave and found out it was broken. My wife contacted Home Depot who scheduled a service tech to come out. Service tech came out and immediately said it needed to be returned. Has not been mounted or used. Next day my wife takes it back to exchange. The assistant manager Oscar refused to return it saying it was longer then 48 hours. Was absolutely disrespectful to my wife. The reason we didn’t return it in 48 hours is Home Depot asked us to have a tech look at it first. So it was 4 days since we purchased it.To make it worse Oscar made my wife and 5 year old carry it out of the store alone without even trying to help her.Horrible customer service. I have spent 10’s of thousands of dollars at this particular store and they want to lose business over a $300 microwave?I am beyond disappointed in Home Depot. I will be going to speak to the actual manager tomorrow. They need to do right by their customers.

I will not be returning to this Home Depot location. This would be a 1-star review if not for the friendly young man in Lumber and the friendly young lady at the Pro checkout. I was purchasing lumber by the foot, and most of my pieces were cut crooked. When I brought this to the attention of the older man in Lumber, he said, “That’s just the way it is. This saw has a draw on it. It’s designed to cut wood in half just so you can fit it in your car. It’s not meant for projects.” If all I cared about was fitting it in my car, why not just snap it in half? Why would I purchase a 3-foot board with a crooked edge just to go trim it down at home and waste wood? I’ve never had an issue with accurate cuts at the Home Depot until now (I usually go to the Broomfield location). I ended up returning the product because the crooked edges didn’t fit properly for what I was working on.
Of all the area Home Depots that I visit this one has the employees I would definitely rate as the most chill. I dont know if thats the management style or the clientele they have to deal with but its always a pleasure to shop there. This is not a mecca for contractors like the South Thornton location tends to be. Therefore its not normally crowded or difficult to get around the store. Note to self: buy some Loctite Red...
Came to this store to price match Lowes and everyone for an item they had marked at $95 and Lowes had the same exact item to a T for $61 and the manager mark told us he couldnt price match that because it wasnt the Lowes closest to this store. Oh and it took him at least 30 minutes to research to find the item at $84 at the store closest to them.
Well today was the first time in long time that I was satisfied with my visit to home depot. usually its very hard to find someone willing to help you find things in the store but today I took a long shot and asked a gentleman by the name of Steve Doxsey a few questions about a fireplace make over Im trying to do.He was more then knowledgeable Drew me some great pictures to help me explain what I was trying to do and offered me his card incase I ever needed more help with questions.
Had help in lumber. However when I went to check out all lNes were busy except the Pro chsckout. So I went there. The young lady said she only helps Pro members. She was not busy and it felt like I received a blow off

Not the greatest when it comes to special orders. Something that was supposed to take less than a week took over a month to arrive because it got lost in the store the first time it came in. After I tracked the package and saw that it had arrived in the store about 10 days prior, I called and asked why they hadnt called me. They had no idea what was going on and after a second phone call a couple days later they got it reordered and it finally arrived. When I went to pick it up, no one came out to the curbside pickup so I had to walk inside and pick up the package. Then after I left, I got a phone call from them saying they had found the original package and apparently had no clue that I had just in the store 10 minutes prior!

Paid to have our floors measured recently and then tried to order a box of the flooring so we could lay out a larger area to make sure we would be happy with our choice. Doing this turned out to be a nightmare! We were sent to 3 different stores that said they had cases, and when we got there we were told they didnt. One store told us it was a discontinued item and that we would not be able to order it. Another told us we could only order it online, which was not possible either. The last store when I asked to speak to a manager who might be able to help me, just passed me off to another sales associate who flat out told me he has no idea what to do! The Manager/Supervisor just continued to wrap a pallet.I spent over half an hour on the phone with their online support and they gave me the run around as well. I was told I had to speak to the woman who originally helped us in scheduling the measurement, and that she would be the only one that could help us figure this out. The first issue here is we never spoke to a woman! The second issue is, there is only 1 person in that store or company that can help us?Basically, what I have learned from this experience is this company has no idea what they are doing. My advice is if you are looking to have a large project like having floors redone, this is not the company you want to choose. My wife and I have been going to Home Depot almost every weekend spending tons of money remodeling our first house and they have lost all my business moving forward. Poor management and customer support are the root causes for this. You would think a company of this size would would be able to do better. What a shame!
Only had curbside pickup, but the guys that brought my order out were quick, friendly, and had safety in mind while loading my SUV. Their outdoor selection of plants and flowers was pretty expansive too, looked great. The only thing I didnt like, and it has nothing to do with the store itself, its that patrons in the garden area werent mindful of social distancing. But all of the staff I saw around the outside of the store, all were wearing their masks. Thanks Home Depot! Loved the stuff I ordered too..was nicer than I expected for the lower cost.

The manager (or at least service supervisor?) deserves 4-5 stars as well as a customer service rep, and this incredibly patient woman working near outdoor. And Im 100% willing to overlook wrong/poor directions to an item and not necessarily always having solid product knowledge (maybe we shouldnt anymore but... Im patient and okay with them not knowing 100% of an evershifting logistics plan). For example, the rep in Appliances should probably know whether or not the HDX brand refrigerator filters have the same, or merely similar, contents as the name brand; but its okay!With receipts on file... I began with returning a fair bit ($190) as I was matching grout colors for a customer and brought options... and had already spent it in my head before I walked through the entrance. Of course, I spaced that I had some things in those bags I wanted to keep. I also didnt want to track down my receipt, or the physical item in the store, for a warranty exchange. So I kept those items in the upper portion of the cart and continued shopping and intentionally keeping everything completely and entirely separate.The two reps at self checkout (didnt see a manned register) both somehow managed to circle repeatedly on fussing about this singular plastic bag and a loose, clearly... very very used, tool. This bag was maybe holding $40 in items. Their overall tone, repeated questions, paired with grabbing my items and setting them on some other desk... didnt sit well with me. I had actually told them seven times in total.. that I had walked in with it... can confirm with the rep, cams, etc... Or instead of pressuring me while I ring myself out (even asked if they wanted to scan a chunk of items while I go swap an item as I grabbed the one next to the one I wanted 😉) they could wait a moment and Ill have them pull it all up.Thankfully theyd peacocked enough that they asked for, what I presume was, the manager. Not even truly in passing (he was ushering them away from me while I was talking) I was able to express my frustrations of being hounded about my low value property while spending over $400 with a calm response of I got you. Truly appreciated this 🤗. Now, even after that issue disappears... There was a younger rep floating around the self checkout and I made it a point to ensure he check the bag so everyone could be happy. As I really only wanted to complete my transaction and I dont mind showing w/e to prove its mine, principle being not to harass me in the middle of my transaction.Now, I get this is apparently a tactic used by some nefarious folks... but to treat someone like theyre doing something wrong first and a customer second is unacceptable. Props to the manager and such though!

Good as far as Home Depots go, but no one out front enforcing mask policies and theres at least one employee that doesnt respect the six foot boundary and will get right up next to you almost in your face without any pardon me or any pleasantries. Great selection and prices on tool rentals.

The store is operating close to normal. There is a line but its moving pretty quick. Stock seems to be a little low but all things considered it wasnt a bad shopping experience.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of someone for over a week to install a garage door opener. I paid for the installation, Home Depot said someone would contact me, and still nothing. I even called a rep who said someone would contact me that day to set up a time and still haven’t heard anything. Now, I can’t even get through to talk with anyone. I realize the situation we’re in, but communicate with me what’s going on.
The store was busy, so there was a short wait to get in. After that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone working had a mask on and practiced safe distancing. Store stock was down but I found everything I needed.
Wasnt very busy tonight. I was able to get what I was looking for and checkout in under 15 min.

I get that costumer service is not No 1 priority. But I asked Josh if he could just help me out with something very simple as getting some one over to get ladder and get something off the middle shelf. And he just walks off with out saying a word. When he walked back past me again I asked if he found someone and he looked at me and basically said get off my back my shift is over and then proceeded to go over and buy a bag of cheetos. When I asked why he was so mad he said what do you want me to do we cant find anyone. Just say that at first and dont argue with costumers. So after waiting 25 min I ended risking my self and climbed up the shelves to retrieve it myself. Which is a 50 pound box, You should be glad I didnt fall and now have a law suit on your hands.

The paint department is a disaster. The lady was very rude and could see that she didnt want to help me. I asked for some paint and was told that they didnt have it any longer. I told her that was funny because the longmont store had just called and was told that they had it in Thornton. So she said they didnt have it huh. Then why did I leave the store with 5 gals. of the paint I wanted.... Then she called and a guy come up to the paint counter asked how I was doing. I told him fine. I got the paint, told the gal that I was sorry she was having a bad day, and that I hoped she had a better day. He then told me to quit being rude to his employees and to leave the store immediately. Im assuming that this guy named Mark was some sort of manager but he really never introduced himself. I would really like for everyone to know that he is a very unprofessional manager, (if he is really a Manager) with no respect towards the customer that pays his wage. He needs to learn some better skills, because he is a real jerk.He also may take a look at his employees because the Gal working there lacks customer service skills as well. Dont show much for Home depot. Not that it matters at all, but I will never patronize that store again and I surely will let my family and friends know about my experience with Home Depot in Thornton on Highway 7. Lowes is looking better all the time
Had a issue with a text account. They charged my customer 2times. And now been waiting for 25 minutes for them to figure out how to fix it. I understand it was a accident but im just frustrated waiting for so long to correct the problem. So far 4 employees and still cant fix it
Super disappointed in Home Depot today. My family and I went to pick out a grill for Fathers Day. We were there with another customer each of us needing a different grill the young man closed the isle, got the other customer his grill from the top shelf with the lift and then walked over to us and said sorry I have to do something else right now. He didnt offer to come back, call someone else or anything. My husband pointed to the grill we wanted which was right in front of him and he just apologized and walked away. The older lady at the door was very sweet and apologized as she had tried to help us but needed help. Weve always preferred Home Depot over Lowes due to customer service, but apparently thats changing.
Purchased carpet and install package from this Home Depot.The only sub vendor they use in CO is HOM Solution who was inconsistent. They missed the 5 day guarantee installation date and no-showed my appointment - they wouldnt even call the deployment tech back which is their own company!Once it finally got installed, it did look great, so I do want to mention that. However, it was over 20 days late and my tenants at this property were upset, rightfully so.My problem with this Home Depot is that I asked for a partial refund and had to call them back nearly 10 times to get it!!! They were nice up front and said Id get a discount but it had to be after the install (when I had no leverage b/c I had paid in full). Then after the install they kept passing the buck back to their Services team, then back to the Store Managers. The paint I got didnt quite match somehow even with the right info. It ended up lightat so I had to repaint the whole thing. Make sure you add an extra gallon to the amount you think you need so it is all done at the same time. Better to have a bit too much paint then run out in the middle of a project.
