Don’t buy a car here! They pitch you on new brakes and tires, but they use garbage parts that don’t last. Also if you do buy a car, don’t buy the warranty! I had a part replaced under warranty. It lasted 6000 miles and then broke again. They took no responsibility and told me I was out of luck. Will definitely never purchase another car here.

They have quite a nice selection and I know they have a great reputation for service and standing behind their products. The salespeople are low pressure and helpful. The prices are basically fixed so theres not much wiggle room there. The one thing I noticed when I started comparative shopping around town is that for some reason the prices at Auto Lenders right now or just quite higher than many dealerships who are selling comparable pre-owned vehicles. I mean by a significant margin not just a little. So I did find a few cars I was interested in but I think I could do a lot better elsewhere so well see how that plays out.

Clinton was kind and caring. He made the experience a little bit better to manage with his sunny disposition and his encouraging words. Even when there was a hiccup he took it in stride and worked to get me into a car for a reasonable price. He was knowledgeable and professional.

My family has purchased four cars from Auto Lenders, Toms River since 2010. The salesman Eric has always been a pleasure to work with. We have been happy with each purchase so far and will likely go back to them in the future. Our most recent purchase was a Jeep Cherokee in November 2019.In the beginning of August, during Tropical Storm Isaias, the Jeep was in the Auto Lenders parking lot for maintenance work when two trees had fell on it. They had a tree company come to remove the tree, but we could not go after Auto Lenders insurance because it was an act of nature. The sales people, along with the service department were very remorseful.We asked Auto Lenders if they would take some responsibility and cover our $1,000.00 insurance deductible, and they ended up agreeing to pay half. They also offered a discount on a future vehicle purchase. This was a very nice gesture and we are grateful to them. The corporate office did an excellent job with handling the situation.

Test drove the car within 5 minutes of our arrival and about 2 hours later we drove it off the lot. Our salesman Joel was great to work with. The rep I initially talked to was great untill I got Clinton as my salesman. Told him i could put 2000 down and work around a 250 monthly payment. Pretty much shot me down said i need a cosigner even though the other rep said we could work something out. Told him i probably couldnt get one and the one i could get had crappier credit then me, so he just ends all communication never gets back. I text saying I found a cosigner and he finally responds. Over promised and underdelivered should be the slogan here. I had a problem immediately as I drove my car off the lot and couldn’t reach the sales “professional.” The situation was rectified but it took speaking to management to receive a resolution. When purchasing I was told my credit would only be ran once yet after checking my credit report later I saw it was ran 3 times. I also negotiated free oil changes throughout the life of my car through the dealership being that was something I previously receiving at another dealership before making the switch and now their is no record of it.... I like my car but I’ll never make a purchase here again, very unprofessional typical sleazy sales approach, I’m dissatisfied.

Very disappointed. The car we had a scheduled appointment to test drive had a dead battery and not enough gas to test drive. Since they knew we were coming, you would think that they wouldve prepared for are arrival. The car was filthy and did not represent what Auto Lenders is supposed to stand for. The guy helping us was really nice so I gave the second star.

Their financing department is more expensive than going to loan sharks. Theyre charging my daughter 22.33%. interest and gave her a 72-month loan. The value of this car on Kelley blue book is $14,000 and her total pay back will be over $32,000. They took complete advantage of a naive young girl. theres a law against this and if you let them get away with it they will. They are absolute thieves. I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy. they filed everything electronic so it goes through the bank immediately and you have no recourse. I suggest you run away from this place as fast as you can. Ive contacted the better business bureau and I strongly suggest you read this review before ever dealing with this company. They are the epitome of used car salesman

Absolute joke bought a vehicle a 11 months ago and tires are already bad dry rotting at 20000 miles, when i bought the car was at 2,000 miles so I assumed the tires were brand new, guess not and their generals usually warrantees till 70k and apparently not with auto lenders, also if you bought multiple cars from them they show no appreciation to keeping their business running, they just want to sell you a car, and you ask them to look into another car to buy a 2nd one, they just ignore you, give you no info, and when you call them back they just ignore you again, this is why my family stop coming here and its why my last vehicle will be my last one with them aswell.

I will NEVER set foot in this auto lenders ever again. Just dropped off and picked up my car for an oil change and felt extremely uncomfortable that the gentleman in the service department was wearing NO MASK. When I questioned him about it, his response was disrespect and unprofessional. There is a big sign on the door saying face masks must be worn inside. Why is he not following the rules? He is putting all of his customers at risk. So disgusted with this place of business.
