🗣I had an early afternoon appt. (Eye exam) recently at lens crafters inside Towson center mall, and that day in haste I inadvertently drove from downtown Baltimore to whitemarsh mall instead, so as I rerouted myself from whitemarsh towards Towson I went from being early to being 20 minutes late, I called L.C. while driving back towards Towson I explained my error and that I would be late, the young lady who answered (Stacey) was very polite while sadly apologizing to me, because it would be a 20 minute late arrival she could not see me but was quick In wanting to reschedule me for a new appt. I thanked her, but for now Ill check my schedule and will recall back later, (which I happily did) and because I was almost at Towson mall I stopped by L.C. just to apologize in person for my lateness and to thank her Stacey for being sympathetic and understanding and in also showing concern for me while again being apologic even though it was my fault, and this lens crafters for the few minutes I was there was clean and well stocked with various eye glass ware to choose from, and what really was nice about Meeting Stacey was that she looked and acted like one of my beautiful caring cousins from Puerto Rico, I do not know if she was a proud white young lady or a proud Latina, but despite what tv and the negative media constantly keep showing the reality is that know Matter what race or nationality we each are, all groups in America are full of proud people who do not get enough respect for caring including the police...*Remember the worst virus in America is Ignorance and tv/media is good at spewing this in the form of hate, violence and fear, but just like Stacey who showed pride in caring, it is a testament to the fact that, its cool to care because in America, WE ALL MATTER!.So Gracias to Stacey, lens crafters and the majority of WE the American people...*Finally, if we are ask to cover our nose & mouth (FOR NOW) fine, BUT, NEVER EVER COVER YOUR EYES & EARS to whats going on all around us...*To all of us, Stay strong, proud and safe...Gerald

I hadnt purchased glasses in many years struggling along without. I found the sales team member very patient, capable and pleasant. Thanks for taking care of me. It was a little more money than I want to pay, hence the long procrastination in even going, but everything costs too much for poor people these days. They calculated the cost of different options a few different ways and provided me with the best possible value. so all in all it was as positive and helpful an experience one could envision. Enlightening, you might say.

I came in looking for new glasses for my prescription and was very pleased with the service I received. This is my second visit at this location and BLYTHE was very helpful both times. She was the only one that acknowledged a customer walked in the door and greeted the customer in a professional manner.Although I didn’t find the right style/fit for me this time, I got all the information that I needed from Blythe in order to make the best decision in choosing the right frames that will fit me.Finding the right frames can be a bit tedious and time-consuming, so I appreciate the patience and excellent customer service!

The prescription service is pretty good. Dr.Yee is quite responsible for her patients. But the glass technician is quite poor. I brought a frame that I bought from Gentle Monster LA store to fill the lens. I could buy my optical lens from gentle monster the time I bought the frame. The reason I did not this is because GM does not take vision insurance. Today I took my subscription and the GM frame to the LensCrafter Towson store to order optical lens. The lens technician said she cannot do the frame for me since she was not able to take the original blue ray lens off from my new GM frame. That is ridiculous coz either GM and Costco can easily take the original lens off and fill in the prescribed lens. I remember two years ago, I brought a Burberry frame which I brought from New York to LensCrafter Towson, that time the same technician said she cannot do this frame because she was able to take the original lens off. I do not know if that is a sales strategy or the technician is just poorly skilled . But the truth is every time I took a frame bought somewhere else to the store, the technician refused to fill in the prescribed lens.

My visit today at the Towson Town Center, Lens Crafters location was fairly quick and and pleasant. With the exception of the person before me who was late for their appointment, which then made my appointment run later. My appointment was for 12:20 and was not done until around 1:20. The front staff and doctor very friendly and pleasant. I would definitely come back to this location or recommend!

I came in to readjust the fit of my glasses, and Danny was very helpful. He offered fast and friendly service.I sincerely appreciate his help and will look for him for my future eye care needs.

I was needing new eyeglasses for the school year since my last ones broke and I had moved to Towson. Lenscrafters fit in my appointment within less than a week and their customer service is amazing! Connie and Danny helped me with the entire process and they are truly amazing employees ! Connie was so kind and positive and brought so much light into the establishment! I will definitely not be picking up eyeglass prescriptions anywhere else from now on but here!

My experience was great from beginning to end. The person who checked me in and did the eye check for glaucoma was excellent. The optometrist who performed the exam was thorough, pleasant, professional, and competent. The person who helped me pick out frames, Taylor, had the patience of a saint. I was indecisive and took forever, but they kept a good attitude and I really appreciated that. Kudos to the staff at this location (Towsontown Center)

My experience with LensCrafters Towson was extremely positive, from the check-in process all the way to the purchasing process. Dr. Prasain was kind and very knowledgeable and the sales person, Celina, was also extremely kind, patient and absolutely a joy to work with.

Darrien and Danny at the Towson location are consistently incredibly helpful and cheerful, making it an overall great experience.

Never really had a remarkable experience at the eye doctor, before Saturday.Darrien really stood out and went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I made the best decisions based on our insurance coverage, and they really helped break everything down for us and made it super simple. We tried on a bunch of frames and got nice help during that process, but when we wanted to sit down to purchase a pair the three associates on the floor were free to help us, but they told us to sit at a desk and wait for another associate to return. The customers who arrived after us got immediate attention and we sat waiting for an associate who was never told we were waiting for her. We got fed up and left. Now we are buying online.

I went on Saturday the 14th Nov, 2020. The Towson team is amazing! I had scheduled my apt. but when I got there I found out that they no longer accept my specific insurance however the staff helped me figure out which discounts and benefits I could still get!I originally wanted to keep my frames and just get lenses (Around $330) but the staff there mentioned that I could go cheaper by going a different route. My frames are part of their great value set so they had those frames in stock and with their help we figured out that it was cheaper to get the new frames and lenses with the discounts/benefits than just the lenses! My original total for just lenses went from $330 to $270 for a new pair of glasses! I really owe them big for helping me out so much and working with me to find the best solution for us both!Even though my insurance isn’t accepted there anymore I still plan on going to LensCrafters as the staff, service and environment is amazing! Thank you Towson staff!

I really like Dr Seyboth. He’s patient and friendly and takes the time to answer questions. Really nice guy. For the eyeglasses section, I’ve never had any problems there. Staff has been nice but the glasses are way overpriced in my opinion. Maybe that’s because you can get them quickly.

Update: This was back in March. They did up extending my prescription temporarily after some trouble.I was told (by the people at the eye Dr’s office) that I should come in sick rather than have they Dr extend my contact prescription. I’m not willing to risk my health. My prescription is expired but it hasn’t changed in 10 years. All I want to do is be able to order enough contacts to get me through until things calm down. Glasses make me dizzy and give me a headache. The world is on lockdown for a reason. That said the Dr. is a nice guy.

After being sold a pair of I’ll fitting glasses, I was sent home with minor adjustments and told to try them for a week and come. After 3 more visits, I was told, by the tech, the glasses were obviously too big for me but I couldn’t get a refund for the difference because too much time had passed. I was refunded after asking for the district manager’s number.

You need more frames that are affordable and fairly nice looking. your cheap frames are pretty ugly. something in the middle wood would be nice

Im a fat slob and layed on my glasses and broke them right before New Years. They were open the next day after New Years . I dropped them off and went back the next day and they were fixed. No charge. Thats their policy I was told. It is refreshing to find quality customer service today, especially at a mall.

The optometrist here is great. But when it comes time to pick out glasses or just stopping by to have glasses adjusted, sometimes its like pulling teeth. Cant say how many times Ive just left because of the wait.Sometimes it seems like there is not enough staff working the floor or something. Went recently it was a much better experience, thinking because it was in the morning.Edit:My last couple of more recent visits here have been much better than before in my earlier review. The first visit I went for simple adjustment, was in and out. And my most recent visit, my newest pair of glasses I purchased in early spring and one of the decorative embellishments fell off without my knowledge. Was bummed because they are practically new. I was a little hesitant about taking them back cause I thought I would have to buy a brand new pair of frames all though I have the protection plan. But it wasnt the case. The nice salesperson was able to swap out my lenses with brand new frames without extra cost. Was really pleased and seems they have improved the customer experience.

There was no communication about my glasses that I still have not received. This has been a very Frustrating experience. I have been to Lens Crafters several times but this was the worst.

The customer service was amazing and I glad that I stopped by and found what needed. I had visited Visionworks and their customer service was very unprofessional and I walked out. The minute I walked in lens crafters I felt like a valued customer.

Bought Glasses on the 12th sales associate told me Id have them in 7 days called store 7 days later and was told Id have to wait another 11 days disgusted... I made it clear I didnt wanna wait the initial 7 days why say in about an hour if u have to wait 18 days? Also I bought a pair of Versace Glasses from this location that faded horribly and had cracks in the lenses where the tech screwed into them

I scheduled for contact fit in June 17 and was told 152 covers the entire fit process including unlimited follow-ups. They gave me some contacts to try and asked me to follow up without any deadlines. I tried to call and schedule for follow up today, and they said it is too long ago and I have to start over a new process and pay another 152. She said it is their policy that if it is too long the process has to restart. I was not informed at all about the policy, and she could not answer clearly how they define long time when I asked for more details . Had I been told the policy ahead, I would have followed-up much sooner.

My experience - very efficient staff. I was greeted upon entering store. I had appt for eye exam and was seen on time. Staff and Dr professional and knowledgeable. Afterwards I was assisted as needed picking out glasses but never pressured. Michele very helpful.

This location is terrible. I came here 2 years ago to purchase glasses and the employees were so slow. I waited for 45 min before I was seen by someone and was there for over 2 hours just to purchase glasses. I returned today because I had a loose screw in my glasses and I was told to have a seat at the table. After that no one seemed to care. The employees were running around helping customers who wanted to purchase glasses, which I understand, but I too am a customer and just because Im not buying anything today does not mean that I wont return another day to purchase glasses. After 20 min I asked who I was waiting for and thats when they asked me what I needed. I will not be returning to this place to get my glasses next time!

They are the best I mean I literally went it there two hours before they closed and they accepted me and also did my eye exam and I got my glasses all within a hour!! The staff was really friendly!! The eye doctor was a doll. They are the best compared to white marsh the staff there are really nasty people. Thank you lens crafters in Towson you are the best!!!!

I tried to replace my lenses on my current frames which I had purchased at LensCrafters. I first tried to get a quote from a sales associate there on how much it would cost to replace my lenses given my insurance carrier - the woman helping me insisted that this was not worth looking in to, and that I should just order the new lenses and receive the bill at a later time. After insisting that I would like to have the price quote she requested to take a look at my frames. She took them to the back, came back approximately 30 seconds later and said that my frames were too old and weak to have the lenses replaced. She informed me that instead I would have to purchase new frames from LensCrafters. My frames are in great condition - I found another location that will replace my lenses at a fraction of the cost. I will never shop LensCrafters again.

Service staff was very rude and talked down to us since we were walk-ins. Over priced for a contact lens fitting. I do not recommend this location.

I walked in today in search for just a pair of glasses already had an exam done and my script. Although they seemed pretty busy as I was looking at different women frames not once did anyone acknowledge my presence after being in the office for a good 5mins so I walked out and decided I would not be going back.

Last visit to Lenscrafters was not one of my best. In the past, Ive received pretty great service including informed curation on frame choice, and personal connection with service staff. Because I have felt looked after at Lenscrafters in the past, Ive continued to return. This visit, however, my service rep changed tone of purchase once she knew my birthday, which is already in their system (and should not really be relevant info). As I am younger than I look, my service rep became condescending and far too instructional after knowing my age. I left feeling like an uninformed consumer, and that I was helpless and vulnerable against purchasing add-ons, some of which I truly did not want but purchased as result of strange and forced service interaction. Service staff should be your personal advocate and this visit just didnt fit the brief of what I look for in great retail.

NEVER SPEND CASH in a Lenscrafters!!!!! No cash refunds. Corporate will mail you a check! SERIOUSLY!???? Had I been told that at the time of purchase, I would have put the entire purchase on my card! The prescription was wrong and the glasses didnt fit. Poor customer service from beginning to end. No communication, just a lot of waiting.

I was the only customer in the store, and not one of the 2 salesmen offered to help.
