Hands down the best coffee in Truckee. Its such a great spot and theyve created a wonderful sense of community. The coffee is amazing and the people there are even better. I love going and seeing my friends every morning. Best part of my morning is my first sip of coffee. And you get a little art with each cup. Thanks Ralph, Liz, Beau, Tori and everyone!!!

The folks behind the counter here are so genuinely friendly and kind, I left feeling very touched by how welcoming they were. And the coffee is delicious. I’ll definitely stop by again next time I’m in Truckee! ❤️

The coffee is amazing! We are visiting from out of town and we loved it so much that we came back twice. We have visited many, many coffee shops in the US and Europe and Pacific Coffee is definitely in our top 5!

A hidden gem! Pros: Fantastic coffee roasted on site by passionate specialty coffee folk. Reasonably priced bags of beans. Metal puzzle toys to keep you entertained. Cons: small space with three chairs inside and several more outside.

I found the coffee maker I wanted on their website. I was immediately contacted by Ralph (not sure if he is owner or team member) and told the color I wanted was out of stock but he listed the colors that were available. I selected my 2nd choice. With a sincere apology for not having my 1st choice of color, he asked what my preference for coffee was...dark or light. Long story short, I received my Moccamaster machine and am in LOVE with the color (copper) ! The bag of coffee beans Ralph sent had a hand written note expressing their gratefulness for my order and he said that he and and his team all owned the Moccamaster and loved it. My first cups were immediately brewed, hands down, the tastiest cup of coffee Ive ever had! I ran out of Pacific Crest coffee beans and bought some other brands. I quickly realized that Pacific crest beans and the Moccamaster were equally responsible for the deliciousness of my first brew. Now Im going to order their beans and look forward to doing business with this company for a long time to come. Top notch customer service with a personal touch....it doesnt get any better.

I am so glad that we stumbled upon Pacific Crest! The space is absolutely gorgeous, warm, and very welcoming. The coffee was crazy good, and I’m kicking myself for not buying some beans. The owner was so friendly and kind, I wish we lived closer! Definitely seek this place out when you’re in the area.

Stopped by after visiting the bakery next door. Ralph Backstrom is nine days into being open for business after a long road getting there. We enjoyed his coffee drinks and talking to him about coffee and the new business. Check out the redwood window counter and the woodwork on the cold case. Ralph has class, is creative, is a gentleman and loves coffee. Google his name. I would have never know he is a world class snowboarder. He is so down to earth.

Absolutely amazing. I had the black coffee on offer (really nuanced and flavorful; not some pitch black brew). My husband had the espresso in a flat white— such a clean, fruit forward espresso!!

Best coffee in Truckee. My wife and I stopped in for a latte and mocha. Both were perfectly prepared and quality of the coffee shined through. Talked about roasting with the owner for a bit as well.

The coffee at Pacific Crest will not disappoint. You will leave here with a tasty coffee and plenty of caffeine to get through the day. As a Tahoe local I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. Highly recommend! Go Pacific Crest!
