I cannot express how impressed I am with Dyno Tune. Over the last 3 years Ive gone to them for things ranging from routine oil changes to help, my car wont start. The mechanics are knowledgeable, friendly, and transparent in their procedures. Every time Ive brought my vehicle in for a non-routine issue theyve contacted me multiple times throughout the process to give detailed explanations of the problem and how much it will cost to continue diagnostics/repairs. Ive never had a bad experience!

These guys are awesome. Ive had them work on my car a few times and theyve always fixed the issue very quickly and so far none of the problems have resurfaced. They charge extremely fair prices and have never tried to up-sell me on work I didnt need. Cant recommend them enough.

Scott and Randy are hard working and high quality mechanics. As an Illinois grad student they have taken care of my car the last two years and completed a brake job, alternator replacement, and changed my tires. They have prices below the national average and are very efficient servicing vehicles. I recommend this shop to my family and friends

QUICK & they did alot for the priceThe quotes I recd elsewhere were noticeably higher for brakes/rotors, etc. Got it in next day - done same day. Randy was good and up front about pricing. Ill go again and I recommend it- Thanks guys

I had recently done mechanical work at this shop for the very first time and they had claimed to have repaired everything that needed to be done, claiming that none of the lights on my dashboard resurfaced after the repairs and that it was running smoothly. However after picking it up from the shop the same day of repairs, the lights on my dashboard for my engine and oil were still present and my car was still hesitating to turn on. Long story short, they failed to see that my oil casket was leaking, eventually my car completely failed on me just a day after getting repairs done. They shouldn’t have agreed to do the additional diagnostic work without also repairing the head casket. I don’t know how they were able to “fix,” the car and completely bypass one of the main issues.

These guys know their stuff! Absolutely fair prices, great work and they are kind to boot. I am so grateful that I found Dyno-Tune! Thank you guys for the ice cold air conditioning in my Subaru!

Very fast and reasonable with prices. Sometimes its nerve-wracking when you have car problems, especially for college students far from home and unsure of where to go. Dyno-Tune got me in and out in an afternoon while I studied at the starbucks conveniently across the street. Overall great experience!

I have been having issues with my door not closing properly and being rough to open so I just stopped by and asked him to take a look at it. Within a matter of 5 minutes he had tightened some loose bolts it was fixed any set me on my way. Will definitely be using their services next time I need anything car related.

I have 30 years of auto industry experience so it’s hard to impress me. These guys are amazing! When most big shops try to up-sell you all they can, the DynoTune team simply tries to help. Yep, you got that right, they do the right thing. Diagnose the problem and fix it the right way with no extras.As an example, a large respectable shop I know well wanted nearly $140 for a 4 wheel alignment of my car that they claimed was “out of spec”. DynoTune only charges $85 for a 4 wheel alignment. My friends at DynoTune analyzed the car and said it was not out of spec and didn’t even need an alignment. Rather, they just adjusted air pressures in the tires and swapped the sides of the front tires.There aren’t many shops around that go out of their way to save you money and do the right thing any more. Most repair shops have upper management that hounds them to make as many $$ per repair order as possible.Folks, go see Scott and his team at DynoTune in Urbana, IL. Great people!

We have been taking our cars to Scott and Randy at Dyno-Tune for probably 15 years. They provide fair estimates, and they do quality work. We have never been disappointed. They have earned our trust, and now our kids also take their cars there for service.

Scott and Randy are professional mechanocs and their rates are most genuine and best in town. They always suggest you the best and are always on time.

Weve had our vehicles in for service several times at Dyno Tune and have always been satisfied with the result. Theyre always courteous and helpful, and while theyre not the cheapest in town, I never feel like theyre doing things that dont need to be done.

Poor mechanical skills, I had my rear brakes and drums replaced . The mechanic did a horrible job, when I drove off his lot all I can hear a loud clacking sound when I hit my breaks. I return my car back to the mechanic he claimed that he would fix the issue. After receiving my car back the second time the noise continued. I took my car into another mechanic which stated my breaks and drums were not the parts that goes to my car..What a douch bag!..Please do not take your vehicle to this shop unless you want poor service.
