My experience at Texas State Optical was fabulous the optometrist was wonderful the staff was wonderful I felt really at home I feel really safe in the optometrist hands there was no mistreatment miscommunication or misunderstanding my experience was wonderful I give them a 10 they all need raises thank you for treating my eyes with such care an excellent professionalism

Called about any potential openings for a walk-in since we got rained out at work and they took me in within an hour of calling. Quick and very friendly. Nice selection of frames as well. My go to spot for my annual eye exams.

I went in for having frequent severe headaches and pain behind my eyes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and Dr. Addock was knowledgeable and kind. I had a very pleasant experience and would absolutely return if I needed to.

I would just like to start by saying every single employee at TSO is beyond Five Star especially Ashley and Billy Never have I been treated so Amazing and felt like I was part of the family the minute I called in to set up my appointment the only thing that made me a little sad is o only will go and see them once a year for eye exams. From the moment I walked through the door I felt like I was a person and that a number or a situation the girls did good to make sure I was taken care of quickly the doctor majora was knowledgeable about my entire situation and then when it came to picking out my glasses they have very E fishes and proficient girls working that will help you pick out what is best for you what looks good on you and what is within your Comfort zone financial if you do not have insurance. Ive just had cataract removal and I have to brag on the services Ive received from the staff at TSO and Victoria Eye Center. The organization of this staff and the care, bedside manner and knowledgeable experience of Dr. Mutschink is unmatched. I live 70 miles away and my experience is more than worth it.

Nice and friendly people but I did get charged for a test that I did not get. I felt pressured to purchase glasses from them as well.

Everyone there was prompt and pleasant. All my questions were answered in detail and they took the time to make sure I was satisfied. Thanks for a job well done.

We visited Texas State Optical today for my daughter! I did not come across one unkind person. Everyone there was amazing. They were all really good with my 9 year old. She loved the people!Why I did this is beyond me, but we went during my little boys nap time 😖😭. He was AWFUL I literally wanted to just walk out, but they never batted an eye. The lady in the room was trying to turn cartoons on for him. Another sweet lady from the glasses side came over and talked to him also.Everyone was so patient, kind, helpful and welcoming! The office and room was all extremely clean !

Most of my visit was very good. I was not kept waiting and the staff very professional and friendly. One exception was the girl who showed me the frames . I felt rushed so I chose without really looking at all the frames on the rack I was looking at.

I hadnt been to TSO in approximately 4 years and when I walked in I was impressed by the renovations. The atmosphere is more appealing and the staff were all friendly! I also liked that I was able to make an appointment in the same day that I called. I was in and out of there in approximately one hour!

Good experience overall. A huge + was that there was hardly a wait time and all safety procedures were in place and utilized.

Try following state requirements. Learn how to wear a mask properly and keep it on. I work with the public. You wont see us walking around pulling it off and on. Whats the point? If you care about the people coming into the establishment then maybe act like it? Older Dr needs to take some pointers from the younger one on his attitude. If you dont want to be there just clock out and leave.

The doctors are great and give the correct prescription. BUT the receptionists are rude and hard to deal with, when on the phone my wife and I have even been hung up on.The company is hard to deal with too. From phone lines not working, to not using email for prescriptions or questions, to not allowing a slight change on my prescription paperwork after 3 months.

The staff was nice and the exam is very precise thanks to their technology in office, but I highly recommend ordering glasses online after your exam. I paid entirely too much for my daughters glasses and the prices are absolutely unreasonable if you dont have insurance or your insurance doesnt cover much. I should have taken the prescription and ordered from an online vendor because $165 for frames that are $90 online is a rip off.

A heartfelt thank you to TSO.My glasses warranty expired from a competitor. And they gladly greeted me and were able to find me a temporary frame for $25. Saved and made my day. Thank you again.

Staff is professional and friendly. Office is well-kept. I went in for a full exam and contact fitting. I was impressed with their professionalism. I like that the tech wiped down and sanitize everything in front of me and I was in and out in 45 mins.

Loved the doctor! Most thorough eye exam I have ever had, and he took his time; explained things well; and was very polite!However, I did not purchase my glasses from there because even with my insurance, TSO is tooo expensive!! There are no frames less than $160!! So I went to Walmart & saved $55!!
