I have been taking my vehicles to Koons Collision ever since living in the DC area (12 years). Each time, they have exceeded my high standards in performing the repair work. Additionally, the Customer Service is top-notch in that Amanda makes sure you are kept up-to-date and gives advice where needed. The Price of the repair was ideal and they honored the quoted price. I would recommend this place, regardless if you don’t own a Toyota. As a matter of fact, I own a VW and was treated with respect by everyone working.Note: if you need a rental, you will receive a discounted price on the vehicle for having your vehicle repaired at their body shop. The rental price beats other car rentals in the area. The customer Service given is also outstanding.
Worst body shop! During the time, I dealt with the manager Mo. My vehicle was towed to this body shop to get repaired after an accident of no fault of mine. Not only did they do a sloppy job on the paint not matching the same color of my car but as I was about to drive out of their shop I noticed my vehicle was making a strange sound on one of the tires. Opened my door to check and one of the ties was flat! They found a leak and plugged it instead of giving me a brand new tire as they ran over a nail! Mo said this is the best we can do with the paint and plugging my tire. Then my perfectly beautiful tinted windows had air bubbles in the back rear view window as if someone took a blade and poked holes in it. Crooked and shady body shop! They took advantage of me because I’m a female!
I bought a pre-owned vehicle from Toyota Koons at Tysons Corner. I noticed that the left front fender is not fully attached to the car body, visible body shop incomplete job defect. I brought this to the Sales Reps and his managers attention. I had to tell them I wasnt taking home car home with this obvious deficiency. I saw the car after repair hour later. If you read reviews, youd guessed it right: sloppy job. I accepted it. A few days later: I found the fender in its original state.Another visit to the Koons Toyota at TC. Managers response: we did the best that we could. You be the judge about their customer service and quality standards.
The service is super bad!The women Amanda is super mean and really not friendly. It takes three month and my car still haven‘t fixed yet. Amanda never tell you whole process at single time. If she dosen‘t want to help customer,I don’t know why she‘s still there. If this kind of people work there, and the manager still doing nothing about it,I think the store only have 2 stars is make sense. I came there four times, each time I was super angry about Amanda. Bad experience ever in repair store. Will never come back!!
I wish I can give -10 stars, my car has been there over a month, every time they told me its ready I examine it and always found some damages. Please stay away from this body shop. I had horrible experience so far. I am still waiting my car to get it restore, so far there is no timeline.
Two months ago, this happened and weve had no oil issue since. We had an oil pressure issue and were told wed need new bearings on all of the engine, if we ever wanted the car to run again. The estimate $5,000+ (parts/labor). We took our chances and drove it home. With a little research on the internet, we found GMCs oil pressure can be effected by the mesh filter ($5.00). My husband fixed it with a part from Autozone. We still had to pay the insane diagnostic fee for them to tell us it was oil pressure, which we had already read with our code reader in our own garage. They didnt even pressure test the system. The oil light immediately went off and its been fine. I cant imagine if we had trusted them and actually paid thousands of dollars for the bearings.
Service is pricey but good. Comes with a guarantee which is quite nice
Stay away from this body shop. They are unethical crooks with no understanding of customer service from top down. My son who is 19 took his 2016 camaro to get an estimate to replace the broken side view mirror. They quoted him the total price of $450 and told him that it would take two days; however, it took them 10 days because my son forgot to drop off the key and they failed to request it. We were in a hurry and completely forgot, a mistake anyone could make but according to the manager, my son is an idiot. On the third day we called to check on the status and they realized they didnt have the key. Wow! Arent they perfect. They called my son but he didnt answer because he was at work and because he thought it was a telemarketers calling. They called his work the day before and left a message for my son. When we picked up the car, they jacked up the another $100 claiming that the mirror had to be replaced. Without prior authorization and notification, they did the work. This seems to be the common practice at this body shop - read other reviews. When I confronted the manager, he called my son an idiot for forgetting to leave the key when they also forgot to ask for the key themself - some customer service bashing the customer and name calling. What manager, representing Koons body shop does that? I told him that his estimator should be competent enough to give a proper estimate and he said its normal not to know. Can you believe during my argument when I told him I could have taken elsewhere for much cheaper estimate and work, he said it was because it is an after market product when my sons car is only two months old. I called three other body shops afterwards and they each asked if the mirror was broken too as thats a separate charge. Funny how that works. When I explained that if they had given me the right estimate to begin with, I would have never agreed to do the work and would have taken it elsewhere, sort of bait and switch. I felt that they are taking advantage of my young son who has zero experience with this sort of thing. The no follow-up customer service nor contrition on his part for failing to get a prior authorization was astounding. I recommend L and M auto body in Springfield. Their estimate by the way was $335 not $550. I have used them many times before and their service is superior. Thought the dealer would be better but obviously dealing with ethical crooks who wont even own up to their mistakes as long as their pockets are full. What a shame!!!!
Fast and good job
Fixed issues from another body shop, but left trash in paint and did not clean the car as expected
Sloppy
