I have been taking our vehicles to Rays for nearly 10 years and have always been impressed with the level of service, attention to detail and quality of work they do. A few years ago I brought my wifes Camry in for a rear bumper repair. As we were doing the walk through after the car was done Jennifer from Ray’s noticed that they hadnt put the Toyota sticker on the new bumper, this is a small sticker that Toyota puts on top of the bumper that is mostly visible when the trunk lid is up. I certainly didnt notice it but she did right away. She apologized and asked if I could wait for a bit so they could put the sticker on which they did immediately. Many others would have not noticed the sticker, and probably even more would have waited to see if I noticed it. That is the level of detail you want. They also have a great relationship with Enterprise on Greensboro and Ray’s will let them know as soon as you arrive that you are there so they can drop a car off to you. Additionally, once you are done with your rental you can leave it with Ray’s, you drive away with your vehicle and Enterprise will pick it up from them later. That’s far better than getting ferried all over Tyson’s Corner with the traffic to pick up and drop off a rental car, ain’t nobody got time for that as the song says. Finally while I was dropping my Dodge off today there was a gentleman who needed to pay out of pocket for some significant front end repairs who needed to leave so he was not late for work, the Ray’s staff were actively working on getting him the best price on the parts (used and aftermarket) to keep his costs down after he left. There is absolutely NO REASON for anyone to take their vehicle anywhere else to have auto body work done!

I was here a few years back and referred several friends there for car body repairs as it was decently priced and time bound back then.Ive been there this year for a minor ding correction and mirror replacement. Got the estimate immediately but wait for actual appointment was long. The estimates were high compared to some other budget body shops despite being a returning customer. Not the experience I had previously.

My car needed some body work and went to Rays upon the recommendation of my service advisor at the dealership. I went to get an estimate and could tell right away that they knew what they were doing. Theyre not slick trying to talk too technical or get one over on you, felt like the estimate was fair for the work that needed to be done, and that they were straight shooters. Just got my car back today, and the work looked great. Only took a couple days. Was pleasantly surprised that even looking at it from different angles in the sunlight, I couldnt tell the area where they did the work compared to the rest of the cars original paint. Definitely recommend.

After getting several estimates around the area, not only was Ray’s the best deal - they did a great job, were professional and personable throughout. Highly recommended.

Had a bad a couple of bad experiences with Rays over the years. Have used them twice in the last year and I appreciate their fast and efficient approach. They dealt with the insurance company. Very painless. Quick turnaround.

Ray’s did a great job on my car, it’s impossible to tell that it was damaged. The parts they replaced are a perfect match to the rest of the car in terms of color and shine. They were prompt, helpful, and patient with all of my questions. Thank you Jennifer and Jeff!

This is such a nice company to work with! I had a difficult situation and had called a few body shops that had been recommended. I was hoping for a few moments of over the phone advice to decide whether it was even worth bringing this car in. Completely different from the other shops that I called, Jennifer spent time with me. She quickly understood what I was dealing with and gave a good suggestion to bring the car in for them to have a full look and provide an estimate. The way she went about this suggestion gave me confidence in the honesty of Rays Auto Body. In the end I did not have the work done -- car wasnt worth it. Her kindness was critical in helping me make an informed decision.

I had a terrible experience at Rays, to say the least. My SUV was rear-ended and the repairs should have been simple but Rays made them incredibly complicated and returned my vehicle twice without complete repairs.The third time I went to retrieve my vehicle, I was lucky enough to roll down my window as I left, because at that moment I heard a clicking sound. The sound was a large piece of scrap metal in my new tire. I turned around immediately. Rays mechanic had the courage to tell me to my face, that I must have gotten the piece of scrap in the 5 minutes since I left. In the end they patched my tire and rotated it to the back (which I noticed immediately) in stead of replacing it. I still have a slow leak in it, a year later.After the repair I was told by another mechanic that parts of my exhaust that they repaired werent fully fastened and that there was a leak in the exhaust. When I returned, they claimed that those issues related to the front exhaust not the rear exhaust - which even if you accepted that - that fastening was in the rear exhaust, so a lie either way.Im happy to finally write a review on this experience. I see that Rays has some great reviews on here and I can say that the office folks are very polite. However, I have such a bad taste in my mouth from my three week ordeal that I will not be returning.

Rays auto body did a solid job on my car...needed to get my cars front fender fixed and they had a great price and a very good turn around time. The work was well done, I would go back if I ever need body work again.

I bought a new sport hood, hood scoop insert, and grill for my 2012 Toyota Tacoma that I needed to get painted and installed since its way too cold out to install it my self. I took it to Rays and they painted the parts in a couple of days and installed everything for me Friday morning right before the Blizzard in less than and hour. That paint looks great, the install was great, and the customer service was great!!! Thank you guys for the great experience and any new parts will be coming to you for paint. :)

The work was done on time and as promised. The overall work quality exceeded my expectations. The office staff is helpful and responsive. Jennifer is competent and was a pleasure to communicate with during the repair process. Recommend.

The very best. Ask for Jennifer—she will work on your car on the spot almost! I pay for my own bodywork rather than risk higher rates with USAA. Accordingly I have shopped around carefully. I have been to Vienna Autobody in the past and see that the two shops get exactly the same no. of reviews and overall ratings. I give Ray’s the edge for sure. (There is also a body shop in Falls Church not far from Lee Hwy and 66. USAA recommended them too and I tried them once.) Again, pick Ray’s.

Great staff. Very prompt. Extremely good, if you have Allstate. My S2k got hit by a truck, and they repaired all of it, properly. Im a car person, so I know the ins and outs of cars. I even had it tested, so I can verify that they do very good work. Paint, collision, everything.

Bottomline -- Rays is a small family run business with great customer service, excellent repairs at reasonable prices. Ryan, Marcus and Becky in the office were most gracious and accommodating. We were running late the day we were supposed to pick up our car due to traffic and snow. We called and told them we would be arriving a few minutes after closing. Unlike some places that shutter their doors on time, Ryan and Marcus told us not to worry and they would wait for us to arrive. The car was even washed and per-positioned when we arrived. Its little touches like this that makes this place special.Simply stated, if you need your car fixed perfectly, want a pleasant experience with the staff and a reasonable price, take your car to Rays.
