This review is for renting a truck, not about their storage—- Had to change my rental truck reservation last minute and the customer service rep a) answered the phone before they even officially opened b) made all the changes on the phone c) followed up with me after to keep me updated. It was quite the “ideal” 😏experience.Funny how customer service like this which should be standard is now such a rarity.

Horrible place. Cant seem to keep it together. Customer service : hands down the worst Ive ever experiencedWas locked in gate. Then I called WPD TO be let out was stuck for 2 hours. Was robbed and spoke about in a very SLANDEROUS manner. They are not a secure facility. People are saying drugs out of their outside units. Ive tried several times to speak with owner. Ive lawyered up . Definitely wouldnt recommend this for the roaches let alone a human. Terri is the best thing for them! Just like Chris. Not the owner either.

I have to say that when I was referred by the Lacys and Texas Star Mattress.. Callie Bright . I was treated with respect and dignity. Jaimie was very kind and understanding. Ive been in and out of hospital due to COVID-19. And sadly my mom took a. Turn for the worst and passed. I was assured by Jaime that I could catch up on my payments being that life happens. Well thats not the case. I was railroadedand and slandered/defimation of character by a lady Terrie thats supposedly the GM. Ive never met this lady nor do I want to. Theres been numerous security breachs and a. Rodant issue and theft. Ive reached out to speak and pay but as of yet. NO RESPONSE. I AM BEING MADE TO MOVE UNDER UNCLEAR CIRCUMSTANCES. . I GIVE ONE STAR FOR ALL THE INCONVENIENCES IVE ENCOUNTERED. SMH. GET IT TOGETHER PPL.

Ideal self storage is a one-stop shop for storing anything. Comparable pricing. Employees are friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping me from five stars is the difficulty I had opening and closing the container unit I rented. I had to call for help to close it. They said it was because the units were new and not broken in yet. When moving there’s always a hiccup with something!

I keep moving around but Im from waco so I maintain longterm storage there. I have used NUMEROUS facilities, now Im just sad I didnt start with Ideal. The staff are always helpful and courteous, and so nice. I feel very safe with my priceless sentimental items kept in these facilities.

Wow! I had such a great experience talking with Janette at the New Road location today! Even though she didn’t have the larger unit available, she was super helpful and knowledgeable! What a breath of fresh air!! Add to that my experience talking with Jaime at the Industrial location! What a keeper she is as well! She is amazing, and has such a great spirit! It’s obvious these ladies enjoy their jobs! I actually enjoyed spending my money today! Kudos!!

Jaime always went over and above in customer service. She kept the place very clean, mopped regularly and always working hard. She always strived to help her customers, many moving, and other stressful situations and I never saw a rude or selfish attitude. She always went over backwards to try to help people out in their difficult situations. Bathrooms are always clean and well stocked.The place is temperature controlled. I highly recommend this place. It’s not the same though when she’s off. I could always tell by the bathroom when she was off!

Jamie was a godsend. She helped me get into a unit that fit my budget and was certain all my stuff would fit. For your climate controlled storage needs, ideal on new rd will be your last stop. They keep it at a chilly 73 degrees whereas my last storage place (by imperial) kept it at 78 but was found to be at 84 degrees. This is not adequate to call your place climate controlled, glad to be out of there.If you need a place for your stuff, come to ideal and speak with Jamie.

Calling this place a storage facility is like calling the Taj Mahal a hovel! The facility is clean, the prices are great, the staff is legendary. It was a interesting day when I finally moved out as my boxes did not want to leave. I could hear them wailing in despair. It was like trying to get toddlers out of the toy store. But I cant blame my boxes, I understand, if I was a box I would want to live here too. 100% recommend. Thanks for all the help Jamie!

I just got out of the military moving home. Loaded everything into a U-Haul and drove to waco. Was trying to walk in and acquire a storage unit. Never made it inside the building before an older gentleman told me that I didnt belong there. This isnt U-Haul. I was never able to respond before he told me that I need to leave. Not a good first impression. I tried to talk to him but he told me to leave
