This particular Home Depot location is not bad. When looking up item online it is actually available in-store for pickup which is a real positive. The store is typically clean. The employees are usually polite, and tend to let a customer shop at their own will. However, on the opposition there is not always clarity on some prices. The shelves are many times stocked wrong, so pay close attention. Plus, for every 2 helpful employees there is one who is quite the opposite. A few will avoid customers or spend time talking with their co-workers instead. So overall, it is an okay place where a phenomenal experience can happen on one day, and a frustrating experience the very next.

What a great team at Washington PA Home Depo!!My husband and I stopped to return an item damaged in shipment and customer service went above and beyond to take care of the issue. Each department I passed through I was offered help and a friendly greeting. This continued as we made an unexpected purchase and was even helped in the lightbulb department. Great job!! You are 5 star in customer service.

Sticker Shock! is an understate statement. Dont waste your time calling Home Depot for a quote for your kitchen. I normally love Home Depot, however when it comes to kitchens, Im not impressed. Our Kitchen is 11 1/2 feet by 12, I wanted to add some base cabinets a long a wall in my dining room. I priced them online for around $3000 including shipping. I currently have solid hickory cabinets and to reface them to white, and this was the lowest grade cabinet they sold only had a 2 year warranty, the price came in at $55,000! I was speechless. Needless to say we didnt sign a contract. Strongly suggest you get more than one quote.

I just love this location. First, the staff. Folks like Joe in customer service and John in paint make this place stand out. Everyone is kind and helpful.The entire store is immaculate and clean. Layout is efficient, well stocked, and constantly organized.I was never a Home Depot fan, but this one location has changed my opinion. I’ve spent way too much money here already.

Definitely be sure to check online for some of the items that you are looking for. I was able to find a great deal that was listed online and available in-store for pickup that I couldnt actually find in the store myself.But aside from that online deal find there is a pretty good variety of things to do almost every possible project that you can think of. And of they dont have it, they probably have the supplies to make it. So you can fill your time with projects that make the parts you need to finish another project that is also just one of the pieces that you will need to complete another project in order to finally get started with the project that you initially wanted to do.Or they will have that specific screw that you need to replace the one that you dropped and have no idea where it landed.

I usually split my service 50/50 between my local Lowes & Home Depot.

Hard finding someone to help. Selection is limited. Store is clean and well stocked. Tool selection is best thing about them.

I really have had such pleasant experiences at THIS Home Depot. Like today I had project to get done, BUT I did not know for sure what material I needed to get it done. I got the first couple of things on my shopping list, then while I walking around I see an employee - Kevin by name :-) I show him my drawing - he didnt even laugh :-)... He says right away - I know exactly what you need..follow me... And in no time I had everything I needed to get my project done - and it cost less than I expected!In the past OFTEN when I ask where something is in the store the employee I ask offers to show me exactly where it is... amazing.... the employees here must get a lot of exercise :-)

Bought a kitchen island online and the customer service personnel was wonderful. From placing the order for me to loading my truck. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The flooring instal was the worst, language barrier impossible to overcome. Look elsewhere when they ask you questions on the install like how to do it. Canceled on me 3 times and In between figured out carpet was ordered wrong size then the laminate guys came and decided they did not want to do the install - probably more so do to cuts and work vs what they were going to get paid, they made an excuse to refuse the work.Im done- days off work with unresponsive installers. Home depot did respond everytime I called and took action but that could not overcome the overall experience.They need more qualified and reliable installers. Go elsewhere where they dont sub it out.

You can never find anyone at these big box stores that know anything about the area they work in!!!! I found the unicorn. Jerry was so nice and helpful.

Needed a garage door side and top weather strip for a new garage door. Dark brown 2 seven footers and 1 nine footer. Wow almost everyone had something wrong with it. Scratchs and kinks in the hard material and small pieces, chunks in the soft rubber that makes the seal.Lucky to get enough to complete the job.

Needed to purchase a dishwasher no one on the floor wanted to help so we left and made the purchase at Lowes for less. Happy with our purchase.

Home Depot is always trying to rip you off they try to rip you off and appliances they try to rip you off on big name items like carpet and theres a bunch of crooks didnt they want to rip you off and returns theyre just thieves dont go shopping there

Today was the first time a Home Depot sales person went out of his way to be helpful in explaining the product and in guiding me to other areas of the store where I needed to fi d things. Wish I remembered his name, he recently was awarded employee of the month, and he is a vet!

There are many perennials and annuals to choose from but I did notice the racks of flowers are blocking the fire hydrant!!

Im a Lowes guy I was across the street at Harbor Freight.

This is the best home store in our area. We travel 23 miles to use this store, when we have a home store 8 miles from us. The sales associates are so helpful and go out of their way anytime weve been in there.

This location of Home Depot is quite a way from our home in Dunbar PA. But we do shop here when were in the area.We also have stopped here because we couldnt get something for a project at Home Depots that were closer to us.This Depot is always been a clean store to shop in, and next time were out in the area shopping we will definitely be stopping in to look around again.

11-22-18 : This review is geared more to the installation of our newly installed carpet then to the entire store itself. The service from start to finish was extremely smooth and George very helpful. But where I was really impressed was the carpet company that came out to install our purchase. Carlos was our installer. When he showed up he was alone and from 2 to 6:30 worked extremely hard to install carpet in two bedrooms and in the living room. He did a fantastic job and was very kind and courteous. The carpet looks great and really changes the atmosphere in the home. I would definitely recommend working with George in the Washington home Depot for all your flooring needs. There have been many questions that Ive asked him and he is very knowledgeable. If hes not sure of something he finds the answer which I appreciate.Im loving the new carpet, thanks Home Depot for giving me a great experience and NOT giving me buyers remorse.

Ordered online for pickup curbside on the way to my home to washington and they had it ready and brought it out and loaded the wood for me! I LOVE LOWES!!

Didnt have what I needed locally so we drove the half hour to the Washington PA. store..... on a Sunday. Store has signs hung everywhere to find what you need easily. Good service too. A young man cut our boards to length and checkout was a breeze.

Don and John (I believe was their names) are the kindest people in the paint department. They helped us with everything we needed and were so helpful. Thank you both for making a great impact on someones day!!!
