I spilled an entire cup of tea on the keyboard of my laptop and really did not expect that it was going to ever be functional again. But the guys at Computer Plus must be magicians because they fixed it!Phillip was very professional and courteous and it was a pleasure to work with him. I paid more than I was told originally, but I suspect it was because they had to do more work on my poor laptop than they expected. Anyway, it was a lot cheaper than getting a new one and I am very grateful. Also, it was ready for pickup the next day! Thank you very much a wonderful service.

Far and away the best computer repair in DC, and let me tell you why. I had my custom PC fixed here once in 2019 - they had it fixed completely in a couple days and for under $300, even though they had to buy a replacement component.I had an installation a week or so ago I was not feeling ready to do myself. Best Buy was my first try, but the service just to set an appointment was bad. I asked Computer Plus to help me out, and they did the work in just a few days, the majority of which was waiting for a part to be shipped in.The owner has been in the business for almost 30 years, so his prices are reasonable and reflect the experience of the team and the care they put in. There is also an option right on your initial ticket, to request an estimate before the staff begin work. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Imagine what they can do for your pre-built machine.

Phillip was very patient with me and went out of his way to try and accommodate me. He was also very communicative which is great when waiting for something like a laptop. Highly recommended.

Unbelievable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! they are absolutely useless and have no idea what they are doing. I called this place first thing in the morning to inform them that i had a water damaged phone that was completely dead and was interested in recovering the data off of it as it is listed as a data recovery center. I was very clear that the phone does not turn on at all. the tech i spoke with on the phone told me that he could extract the data no problem. when i asked for a price and time quote he told me $100 and a next day turn around (sounds perfect right?) so i leave work in the middle of the work day and spend 30 minutes getting to Georgetown then when i get there the manager tells me the phone will not be ready until Monday and that it will be $150. when i tell him i was told something different on the phone he didnt care. I told them i needed it by tomorrow at the latest and he said he would try his best and see what he could do. I was desperate so i agreed. I leave the place and go 30 minutes back to work and wait a few hours then i call him back at 5pm just to see what the status is and he tells me that there is nothing they can do because they have had the phone on the charger all day and it will not turn on (?) When i asked what they did to try and power the phone on he said nothing all they did was charge it. excuse me? i TOLD you it didnt power on and was dead and that was the entire point of bringing it to a TECHNICIAN. he said there was nothing he could do and that i needed to come pick up the phone. when i asked what exactly he did try to do to fix the phone he blatantly said nothing. this place is an absolute waste of time and dont even bother coming here because they clearly do not know what they are doing nor do they care who they inconvenience.

The guys @ Computer Plus are simply terrific! Second to none! Helped me significantly. Knowing I was on a very tight budget but regardless figured out an affordable option for me and a way to work with me with the budget I had. Great service and very affordable! An initial reinstall of Windows turned out to be a faulty hard drive - computer plus went to the trouble of working with my warranty to get everything taken care of. Very good communication along the way. Ill definitely go back with any computer repair in the future.

Visiting area when experienced a computer failure. Got very quick and professional service. Was promised a call that afternoon with a diagnosis and estimate. Received it and they completed the work after getting the approval and got the computer back repaired and working properly the next morning. Have my recommendation.

This gentleman saved my life. My hard drive died and not only was he able to replace the parts needed for my computer no problem, but he was also able to transfer all of my old files off the corrupted hard drive for a very fair price. I truly cant say enough good things about Phillip, who runs Computer Plus. I would give him 10 stars if I could.I originally found his shop when I was looking for someone to help me get an old computer I wanted to donate to a social agency up to speed. From the second I called to ask for procedure and prices, he was incredibly pleasant. When I explained what I needed the repair for he said he would give me a good citizen discount and loved what I was doing to help out.When I took the computer in, he was just as lovely, and even fixed my personal laptop, which was missing screws on the bottom, while I filled out some paperwork.He has been in his building for 20 years and its obvious why. His customer service is more like friend service. I dont think he has ever met a customer in his life! They are all friends to him! He ended up donating his own laptop to the social agency in place of my old computer as he said it would be better for them! What a guy!I then returned to Phillip when I stupidly spilled coffee all over my mac. I called him and he picked up right away (unlike the Apple store or any other computer shop I can think of). He told me what to do to keep the damage from getting worse and obviously saved the day because when I took it in, the liquid hadnt penetrated the back of the computer, just the keyboard so it was a much easier fix!He ordered the part immediately and my computer was back in my hands the next week day (I took it in on Friday before the Fourth of July and I had it by Tuesday afternoon!).I highly highly recommend Phillip and will always go to him for any computer issue. He is honest, charming, very knowledgable about IT, and a truly great person.

My MacBook battery all of a sudden quit working, and I needed it fixed ASAP. I saw that Computer Plus had good reviews and went there to get it fixed. My laptop was fixed within 24 hours, and I dont have to worry about buying a new computer. Great and quick service, I highly recommend!

I spilled a whole cup of tea on the inside of my new Macbook. I immediately called Phillip and he told me to bring it in right away. Right when I got there, he assured me he would try his best to preserve the computer. Within a day, he called me with good news -- all the damage was reversed. I am so glad to have found Phillip -- he made an awful situation bearable. I 100% recommend.

I brought my computer and a new battery for it in since I didnt have the tools to replace it myself. The man there gave me the tools and helped me through the whole process, cleaning the computer and basically doing it all for me. He didnt charge me anything. Honestly the nicest guy ever and extremely helpful. 10/10 reccomend.

Long service time and high price for simple repair.

Excellent, very quick professional service. I had at least 2 different (but serious and randomly continuing) glitches in my MacBook Pro laptop (ca. 4 years old) that were making me crazy. I took it in this morning and got it back about 5 hours later, all fixed and working beautifully. The charge was extremely reasonable. I will certainly go back if the laptop develops other problems down the road. Give them a shot.

I am not one of those people who cannot make head or tail of computers, still I am not a computer geek either. So at times I have my laptop repaired here. I have never had complaints. Precise work.

Dropped off hard drive for data recovery, rep said he would call in a couple days; never did. Called back a second time, claimed they would provide me a status, never returned the second call. Called a third time, and couldnt provide the status. Do not recommend, poor communication.

I was very happy with the service and speed of the repair. The price was also great considering the depth of repair that was needed.I brought in my custom desktop gaming computer to get a repair. I am decently tech savvy, but I was unable to fix the issue myself. Phillip and Jayantha worked very hard to find the problem and get my computer back up and running. The problem ended up being an overheating issue due to my liquid coolant system not functioning properly. Jayantha went above and beyond to test my machine to make sure it wouldnt over heat again.I highly recommend Computer Plus for all IT needs.

Their service is courteous and quick, but expensive, in my opinion. My 2009 Macbook Pros speakers were staticky and I took it in. I was charged $179.14 to replace a single speaker. For that price, I would happily have learned how to replace it myself. Lesson learned, but itll take some time to get rid of the buyers remorse, especially after having checked the price of speakers online. Not even close.

Useless customer support. Called and asked a simple question on if they sold a USB to serial, and the rep immediately replied she couldnt help because she just doesnt know. Did not make any effort to find out. Thanks for nothing.

Lights are on, but nobodys home. Called on 30-Jan-2019 and agreed to bring in my computer toward the end of the following business day to replace the battery. They told me theyd be open until 6:30 PM. I arrived at 5:35, rang the doorbell (like 12 times), knocked, called the phone number, stood around in the cold, left at 5:55.
