I love Dr. Nancy Ross and her team! Check in was smooth and Dr. Ross explained every step of the eye exam to me. She made me feel comfortable about my eyes. Dr. Ross also gave me ergonomic tips (desk chair height, computer height, and looking away ever so often) to help my eyes since I work on a computer all day! As long as Dr. Ross is at this location, she will have my business. I highly recommend Dr. Ross to anyone looking for any type of eye exam! A truly pleasurable experience.

Had a good experience at this location. Staff and Dr S were cool as a breeze. Note to my fellow AmeriHealth members. Most companies have cut ties with our provider..... stay mindful of good service and availability. You never know what you got till it’s gone. 😊
The service in person is great but how come when I call it keeps sending me to voicemail? The store is open.
The females in this s place are rude, particularly the female with the dreads that sits at the front door.. she is rude and unprofessional. I had an appointment and it took forever. This was my first visit and I will never come again or recommend.
As I stood in the lobby waiting for assistance for several minutes someone from the office was calling to see if I was keeping my appointment..it was downhill from there. I was rushed through my appointment and treated like an old customer or employee who knew their way around, the doctor wanted to debate about a past concussion, why I started wearing bifocals and then said I had a stigmatizm which He changed the results to completely healthy AFTER doing an exam. First and last visit!0 stars = for bedside manner0 stars = customer service
My family and I have seen Dr. Simon and his wife, Dr. Ross for a few years for our eye needs. They are always so kind, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. They have changed their staff members from the time I started going to them. I recently visited the office and their newest staff member (I think her name is Amy) conducted my pre-test exams. She was very friendly, soft-spoken, and easy to understand when explaining what to do and what each machine does. I was shocked to learn that she had just started working at the office for about a week because she was knowledgeable and worked the machines well. The reason for my one-star rating is because when it was time to check-out and the doctor told me that the other staff member was going to finalize my paperwork, I saw that she was watching a movie on her phone in front of the computer screen and had an earpiece on. She told me to take a seat, which I did for about 20 minutes while she answered her personal phone calls. I know this because I was able to hear her speak from the waiting area, and I know she wasn’t speaking to her coworker because she was assisting other patients with their exams. This was very unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate of my time. I waited 20 minutes just to get my prescription from the receptionist. And she didn’t even apologize for having me wait that long!Overall: Pre-test exam went well, actual eye exam went well, check out process DID NOT go well due to a lazy and unprofessional staff member.
Horrible staff, this doctor and his staff has no respect for patients time! They called me literally five minutes before my appointment when I was parking there and said the doctor is not in today, his wife which is also a doctor will probably come at 12 pm if I would like it!I am also a doctor and a busy person and really irritated me that they had no respect for my time. I even called them in the morning and confirmed my appointment.I paid an extra $40 for two vision tests but the doctor herself did not examine me and her assistant did it for me, and no results were reported to me!Moving to receiving my prescription, I had to call them 6 times to receive it. The rude staff kept putting me on hold and ignoring my call until I called them from another phone number and they answered! Then the way she sent my prescription was just a photo she took with her phone and emailed it to me!! After I almost had a fight with the staff!!Then I hardly found 30 minutes during my day to go and order contacts, the contacts sales person explicitly mentioned they will price match with any online store I buy contacts because”they wanna stay in business “ she even opened the website I told I normally shop for contacting and she said it’s fine! Then when I went to buy them, the other sales person who is a rude guy said they don’t do online price match and lied to my face and tried to trick me into buying contacts that were $40 more expensive per box! They didn’t do price match!I am definitely looking into reporting this doctor and his office as fraud.
Horrible customer service. Ordered contacts 14 days ago and was told they would arrive in 7-10 days. Called this morning and was told that they were backordered and I should receive them in another 15 days. Was told they dont track orders unless a customer calls and requests it. I wont go into how I had to sit and smell the customer reps lunch when I ordered them because she was eating at the counter.......
Dr. Simon is great and Ive been coming here for years. Hes honest about your eye health and does not mince words when letting you know what youre doing right and wrong regarding your eye health. Maybe some people wont like that kind of tough doctoring, but it has helped me take better care of my eyes.
Amazing experience. Highly recommend for any eye needs and yearly checkup. Dr. Ross explains everything she is doing and considers your voice throughout the exam. Her office is timely and perfect location downtown. I prefer booking online, but it was no trouble calling to make an appointment. They were able to schedule me on the same day, which was greatly appreciated!!!Note: I found this office after a terrible experience at America’s Best, where they wouldn’t give me my prescription for glasses or contacts and not even to places I ordered from like Warby Parker. The assistant for Dr. Ross wrote my prescription immediately after the exam and they have acueve trials on hand. If you want a simple and knowledgeable eye doctor, Dr. Ross is for you. Thanks!
Please note this review is for the retail store and not Dr.Simon. Dr. Simon is wonderful. However, the For Eyes staff leaves much to be desired. Michelle in particular is very rude. I order a years worth of specialty contacts every year. And, again they have botched this order. This was supposed to be mailed to my home and it was not. Getting to this store is an inconvenience with work but I took an hour of my time and an additional $30 in cab fees to go to the store today. The store closes at 5pm. I arrived at 5:02 due to the Earth parades throughout the district and called in advance to explain that I literally just needed to pick up my contacts and that the store had made a mistake with my order. Michelle responded with a lot of attitude, no compassion and was determined to give me the worst customer service possible. Of course I arrived and she refused to give me my contacts. It was if I was invisible.
Loved my multiple experiences here with both doctors (married couple). Got contacts for the first time and they were incredibly patient with me as it took me an hour to figure out how to use them!
I found the doctor extremely helpful and PATIENT. He examined my eyes in 2012 and prescribed twi perfect prescriptions. I went to my current doctor after that and the prescription was never right from. Back to For Eyes and now I have a great prescription.
Terrible terrible bed side manner from the doctor! Condescending tone! He didnt even explain the prescription he was giving to me. I never had glasses and still confused why I need them. He even said I had 20/20 vision as I have been told all of my life. I did not realize our appointment was even over until I saw a new patient walk into his office. He did not walk me out, say even two words to me, he just took someone else and left me looking dazed in confused.Finally, the additional exam where they take a picture of the back of your eye is a little pricey but they are supposed to send you pictures via . It has been three weeks and I never received my photos. The assistants were nice but I am terribly disgusted at how poorly the doctors behavior and lack of sensitivity and bed side manner to his patients.First time at a For Eyes location and it will be my last!
Dr.Ross was great. Very sweet and informative. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would reccomend to a friend.
Four eyes optical and the Drs office are separate depts ..I always get a nice pair of glasses for my self and children each time we get glasses and some one always calls me when there ready .. We have been coming to Dr Ross for 13 years and shes just awesome I know that this is a great place and any one would be pleased if they decide to come ....very nice people 🌺
Every time i go I always find the cutest glasses for my style.. They make me feel comfortable; and are very patient .. I appreciate them

I dont recommend this place.I ordered my glasses and they never call me back to pick them up. Finally after 2.5 weeks I called again and they told my 2 pairs have arrived. I came to pick them up and there was only one ready and the lens were already damage. I had to wait 2 more week to get my glasses and they never called me to inform, it was always myself checking.
