We went for a Sunday brunch. Food is really good and it is served all at once, so the tables on the terrace can be very tight. Homemade bread is a highlight… delicious! Shakshuka was not the best I ever had though!Service was mostly friendly, except for the guy serving the food… not friendly at all, it looked like he was doing it against his will 🤷🏻‍♂️Nice concept though!

Pizza was very crispy but quite small. The minute steak was very hot and spicy. The wine was nice. Staff was friendly. It was very hot in the restaurant. Dessert was very good. Food ok but too expensive.

Great place, the food was delicious and the atmosphere really convivial. Big shout out to the staff, they very extremely friendly, courteous and had always a smile on their face! Coming back for sure, even if we have to switch tables ;)

Very good Israeli place with a wide variety of dishes

A big disappointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We stayed in this hotel, so we had dinner here - unfortunately. We ordered four courses, all of which were completely tasteless. As if they didnt use any spices at all, which is the last you would expect in a Middle Eastern / Mediterranean style restaurant. We left most of our food and complained to the waitress, who only said she was sorry to hear that.

This place is a home away from home. I am not only in love with the food, which is delivious simple but magical veggies cooked in a way that i wouldnt normally think to prepare them.Most importantly they also serve all dishes with their heart, soul and magic and the place is beaming with energy. A huge disappointment. Don’t look for flavours, spices and bold cuisine. What you can find: total disregard for guest complaints. We watched the kitchen closely for an hour, as there was only room at the bar, we should have been suspicious. Beginner boys jumping up and down a bit frantically, scrambling here and there. Out of 4 courses, 4 were tasteless, so unfortunately we cant say we made the wrong choice. Their famous cauliflower was the worst dish and the biggest disappointment. The waitress didnt really care, even though we tried 3 times to tell her what the problem was. We had a tastier Middle Eastern breakfast at the WIRR cafe with a tenth as much mumbo jumbo. Too bad, Max Brown hotel deserves better, because its super ;)

Wait staff are friendly and know their menu well (allergens etc)This place is the perfect place for a long night with a group of friends. make sure to go with more people so you can share EVERYTHING off of the menu. Music is great and absolutely sends you straight to TelAviv, a mini holiday destination right at home ;) can’t wait to back

It was my second time at SV. Just like the first time my experience here was an absolute pleasure!Everything from begin to the end exceeded my expectations. The excellent taste of the food, surely because of the freshness as well as perfect preparation of the chef´s will make this restaurant one of my favorite in Vienna. Not to mention the courteous staff, who provided me and my date with a great service. Totally going for it again.

Most of the stars go to the amazing and very friendly staff. Also the atmosphere in the Restaurant is super relaxed. They have a very modern furnishing and the guests are mainly young people. Whoever chooses the music does a really good job. We felt very comfortable the whole evening. The way the food is served is new and creative. Many things were very tasty, but also very expensive. For the cauliflower for example you pay 13€. Hence the star deduction.

Clearly overpriced and pretentious, portions are way too small for the price. However, the place is nice and waiters are friendly. I assume these are the only reasons why seven north still has some good reviews, by tricking people and making them believe theyre in a cool place and part of a club. Dont get tricked :)

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We were lucky to get a reservation but were seated in time. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. I appreciated the attention paid to service. I cannot imagine how hard it is to come back to full service after the pandemic. Our orders were fired, paced, and served to make dining comfortable. I cannot recommend more highly!

1. Finding out about Seven North: OMG theres this trendy place in town, lets go have dinner and have a good time!2. Reserving a table for 7 persons at Seven North: Mmh 30€ cancellation fee per person? Sounds sketchy... What, you need to block 210€ on my credit card in order to reserve a table? Am I renting a car or reserving a table at a restaurant? Never seen that in my entire life but okay...3. Arriving at Seven North: the place looks nice, spacious and industrial-hispsterish style. Well the music is a little loud and we cant hear each other, are we in a club?4. Discovering the menu at Seven North: are sides included with main dishes? Lets ask the waitress. Okay so, all the dishes on the menu are actually tapas-style side dishes that we need to share. Portions are tiny but prices are not tiny. Baby zucchini, baby pizza, baby cauliflower, but grown-up prices. I calculated average prices per category: Veggie dish: 12.14€, Fish dish: 27.6, Meat dish: 36.57€. Quite pricy for starters-size dishes. The waitress tells us we need at least two dishes per person, so approx. 70€/person, not including beverages and dessert.6. Tasting food at Seven North: a lot of veggie dishes (cheaper to produce I guess). The food is fine and okay-tasty but definitely not high-end cuisine, as advertised on the menu (even for Austria). Lets be honest, its easy to turn something tasty when you add up a bunch of oil and spices.In the end, Id say the venue is nice and well decorated, but the whole thing, including food, is pretentious and the business model is based on ripping off customers, which is not very pleasant... Sorry for the bad review but we really were disappointed and didnt have a nice time at your restaurant. We were happy to get out and go for drinks at the bar next door...

I think this is the best food you can eat in Austria. Everything, but really everything tastes amazing, perfectly seasoned, delicious! But the prices are as high as possible, and the portions rather small! Beware of that, because you easily pay ~80 euros for two persons! Also the names of the dishes are complicated and often you dont know what you get.. 😁I was there two times and really enjoyed the food, but its not something you can do every other day because of the prices!

This place served so much food! If you are really hungry youll not remain disappointed. The style is amazing, its a sort of industrial style with wood and iron and it creates a nice positive mood. Super friendly staff

Had an amazing evening with a group of five for my birthday. Food, staff and the whole experience were amazing, we really enjoyed the sharing concept and ordering across the menu.Only small point to improve: we arrived at 8pm and two dishes were already sold out. While I understand that you can only have so much from every ingredient when you care about quality, it was a slight disappointment that two dishes were gone at the beginning of the second seating.Regardless, though, an amazing experience that I would 100% recommend

We had a dinner reservation at 17:15. At 19:40 we were informed that we have 5 minutes more because our table is reserved at 19:45.I found this really a shame because the food was great and I wanted to have a dessert too.Anyway, I had to leave one full glass of wine behind.I would never booked the dinner if I knew I had a limited time for it. I believe that this information should be visible for us upon making a reservation.

Best place to eat in vienna

Lots of show and style but nothing to actually back it up. Food is decent but nothing really worth mentioning. Service is annoyingly informal and cool but overwhelmed. Tables are too close whole place has the feel of a mess hall. Not even starting to get into their seating policy but it just supports the mess hall feel.Guess its one of those place people go to feel in rather than any culinary experience.

The food at this restaurant is exceptionally good, every dish was a culinary experience. The modern design in combination with the open kitchen creates a great atmosphere. The service and the team at this restaurant did a great job, so that we could fully enjoy our stay.

Great atmosphere, absolutely delicious food! This is one of my new favorite spots in Vienna. The menu has a big variety of different dishes, perfect to share and try different things all at once. The best was the road beef carpaccio, it was to die for!The service was slow and felt like the waiters were not attentive enough, it took very long for them to take away our dirty plates and to ask and bring our drinks. Either-way, I really recommend it because the food is worth it!

Grumble...I was hoping to like it! Sure, food was good, just pricing / portions are a bit out there relative to what it is. The creative naming on the menu would be acceptable to me if youre creating very unique & new dishes, I unfortunately got the impression they were sort of renaming existing dishes in a slightly misleading way to spice things up, in a way that confused us at the table what were getting. Service also seemed a bit understaffed, was quite slow near the end.

Culinary excellence. An amazing taste experience which should not be missed. Their lamb and their avocado bruschetta was indescribable.

Good food but you have to get use to the different service they offer to enjoy this place. Food is fine but it comes out however the chef prefers, not in a particular order. You might get meat first, 10min later vegetables and later meat again. Its a bit of a slow down place too, service takes time compared to other places. Food taste/quality is good and presented in a new way, eg you get a steak served on a brick. Best to get their with public transportation.

Nice atmosphere, international flair, overpriced

The food is basic and extremely over-priced. One ends up paying a minimum of 40 to 50 Euros for some bread and a few roasted vegetables. The portions are tiny and the prices are ridiculously high: in a tapas restaurant, a side dish of a single oven-roasted vegetable cannot be 15 Euros!This place pretends to be a tapas restaurant : no side dish coming with the 37 euros meat plates, because everything is to share so one has to order vegetables dishes in addition to the pricey meat portions. However, meals come uncut and uneasy to share. The caccio e peppe are literally a bowl of spaghetti? How are we supposed to “share” spaghetti ?!In addition, the music is extremely loud: it is not a club, people having dinner actually expect to talk to one another !Last, the 30 Euros cancellation fee/person is odd. Not a single restaurant in Vienna dares to do that. Do you expect your stock or sweet potato or cauliflower to turn bad?In response to Seven North feedback below:Customers would appreciate that restaurants commit to take feedback into account without indulging in this kind of behavior. I can assure you that every single dish we had was accounted for in the bill of 270 Euros of 7 still-hungry people. You must confuse us with another table or you are simply lying.Furthermore: we are not friends, I don’t owe you an open-hearted discussion. Google reviews are made to allow customers to provide a feedback afterwards, instead of engaging in a discussion like this one when they are enjoying (or trying to enjoy) an evening with family and friends. This night was not about you so no, we did no feel like losing time calling the manager.Last, please don’t fool us with your « sustainable agriculture » argument. I would be very very glad to know how much of you 13 euros cauliflower actually goes to the farmer.About the « we are not a tapas restaurant »: I can assure you that a place where everything is to share, smaller than a starter and where you own waitress recommend to order 1,5 to 2 dish per person, is a tapas restaurant ;) problem here ? Every dish is between 15 and 35 euros. A bit expensive when ordering 2/person, right ?I suggest that you just take feedbacks into account ( there are many many similar reviews that explain your 4.1 quite low rating) and stop arguing with a customer.

Honestly one of the best and fun nights I’ve had in my life. The food is amazing, menu changes daily and they only work with the best ingredients and everything is prepared in the moment. So it’s fresh and simply perfect. Love the variety of vegetables they work with. To give you an idea we had 9 starters, veggies only. On top of this the staff, who work efficient and fast without the guest noticing it, but more importantly create an atmosphere as if you are in the most fun bar in town. Loud music, cooks dancing, waiter smashing a plate in the floor as if we were on a wedding. Ow boy we broke the house down! ❤️ You Seven North, can’t wait to be back!

Awesome place, feels like little Tel Aviv. Great vibes, very tasty food and loud music. It’s a good mix of fancy restaurant, bar and dance club. Highly recommended. But be aware that it is expensive and quite chaotic (it a rather new place).

We visited at the restaurant twice. For dinner and for brunch. You should skip the last one if you want to enjoy. The place is a bit pricey.

Cool atmosphere, good food, friendly staff. One star out for the misleading price of the desserts on the menu. It says 8€ for the board of sweets, but its charged 8€ per sweet on the plate 👎

This was a real experience. The concept of sharing every dish makes it for a food lover like me really easy so I dont have to steel food from other peoples plates. Most dishes we had were very simplistic but cooked to perfection. A nice way to look at standard ingredients with a different angle. If you want to go I suggest calling because for us the online reservation didnt work properly.

The Food is too die for and the way of sharing dishes with the whole table makes the experience so much more fun!Although the music is quite loud, the playlist is so fun that you’d rather dance and sing along than have a serious conservation!Would recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a good night out!

Pretentious, pricey, very strange food, small portions for steap prices. Ordered the whole animal of artichoke bathing in butter. Literally couldnt eat it because it was undercooked or something of the like. Chewed on it for ages but impossible to be swallowed. Spent 12€ on nothing.Music is good but very loud. The staff seems stressed and nobody speaks German.The interior is nice. So perhaps would consider for a cocktail. Not coming back for food though.

Two Israeli chefs, Eyal Shani and Shahar Segal are cooking up a “wild” and succulent menu in an industrial-chic, Tel-Avivian restaurant right here in Vienna.

Targeting medium to high end segment of the market, so would not make everyone happy but really sensational in terms of food quality and taste.

Interesting menu and great atmosphere. Unfortunately the food itself was mostly underwhelming. Drinks were great though.

A perfect dinner for family and friends! The food was very creative and exquisite full of inovation with ingredients and presentation. The music was lovely too as it suited the vibes of the restaurent. Last but not least very kind and welcoming waiters shout out to Christina and the team well done!! And definitly the chef has brough the food of the middle east region to an upper level!!!! I would highly recommend this restaurent to tourists and locals living in Vienna big thumbs up !!!!!

The food was okay, but not as good as we expected from the rave reviews and rather steep prices. We had the feeling that more time was invested in trying to present the food in an unusual way than to give the food itself a different twist. The location is very designed and hip. If you are looking for some authentic israeli cuisine, Seven North is the place to be. The food is great although not cheap and I can warmly recommend the drinks. Its quite big, yet has a cosy flair to it, whith its mixed furniture and open kitchen area. You feel like in the streets of Tel Aviv with upbeat music playing in the background. I dont know how they managed the rooms acoustics but you understand people on your table perfectly well, while remaining in a private atmosphere because you cant hear what the people on surrounding tables are saying. Highly recommandable.
