Barbara at West Street location in Waterbury was very helpful. She fixed an error from the Orange location. She worked on the issue in the pouring rain and made sure I was taken care of. She’s great in my book. She has excellent customer service skills

Visited this establishment to obtain item for my vehicle. Customer service was good. No complaints.

Today (5/20/21) I visited AutoZone (West Main St Waterbury location) and I wanted to take a minute to recognize 2 outstanding employees that came to my rescue during my visit. After I purchased a battery for my 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT, I took on the challenge of installing it once I removed the old one. Sounds easy right? Wrong!!! The location for this particular battery is in back of the wheel well, and behindthe front fender. So in order to remove the battery, you first have to Jack the car up and remove the tire. Then you have to remove the wheel well covering and after that theres very limited space to work. Thankfully, Chris and another employee ( I didnt catch his name) provided me with some company tools (ratchet and sockets) to do the job. About 45 minutes later I finished the job. I was truly grateful that AutoZone provided me an area to do the work and the tools as well. I was about to return the tools to the front counter when I noticed a huge problem. Somehow I managed to lock my keys inside of my car and all the windows were rolled up. I was so frustrated I was almost in tears. I guess when I connected the battery terminals the doors automatically locked. I didnt have the patience for this to happen at this particular moment. My hands were greasy, I was tired and all I wanted to do was go home and relax and now Im faced with this extremely frustrating dilemma. I immediately ran to the store and asked Chris and Phoenix for some help. They saw how frantic I was and they didnt waste one minute to come outside and do their best to help me. I know that its not their job to help me get into my locked car so I am truly grateful that they took the time to help me. And I would say about 10 minutes later, after using this long metal skinny rod to to pop the door open, they got my door unlocked and I was so happy I gave Chris a big hug and thanked him from the bottom of my heart. Thanks again Chris. Its employees like you that go the extra mile and make me a customer for life!!

The worst customer service . The man who answered the phone had me on hold for 20 min . I eventually hung up because as a large store nationwide why would you have a potential customer on hold for so long . I see why they are hiring ! Thank you thank you thank you to the AMAZING gentleman that helped me with my windshield wipers today.I did not catch his name, but he has curly darker hair and he wears glasses. This company is lucky to have employees like him.He went above and beyond to help me install my windshield wipers (mine flew away today randomly during the storm) and this man did not rest until he found and installed the right ones, while getting soaking wet under the severe rain.Even though I told him from beginning I had no cash he was just such an angel and did his very best to help me.

Do not shop at this store! Very poor customer service. I placed an order online, for which I received a confirmation e-mail, stating my order was ready for pick up. I drove 20 miles to pick up my order, only to be told the item was sold out and my order was not available for pick up. It would have been nice to have received a courtesy call informing me of this, before I drove 20 miles to the store and got a lame Im sorry but thats sold out.

I went in to buy spray paint to touch up a car. The person behind the counter wouldnt let me take the can out side to check match. Obviously he tought i would steal it. I went next door to Advanced Auto and he called them and told them not to sell me the paint. He had given my truck color and license plate. He said i hit a customers car which wasba lie and he really went out of his way to mess with me. I will tell everyone i know to boycott both stores. These are losers that need to worry about being good at theirjobs not messing with customers Im writing to corporate of both let them see how that feels

This is my favorite Autozone. The employees are always more than willing to help me and make me feel like I am the only person in the world. The manager is so nice and really an overall great guy. I have and Autozone about 15 minutes from my house but idrive the extra 7 minutes to go to this one instead because of their Amazing customer service. Really I mean it. They are great people and have an awesome staff at this Autozone.

I went to purchased an item that was tagged at a discount price. When I went to register it scanned at reg. Price. When I brought it to manager Santiago attention he said scan price is my price and didn’t wanna hear it. Luckily there was another manager that was very helpful and fixed situation. In my opinion Santiago is to missable for public. Santiago sucks.

I went to the store today and was created by an employee that could care less about coustomer service! I stated too him I couldnt use oil and filter that was purchased. I supply him with the phone number & name on the card used. I just wanted the money refunded to the card! He didnt even bother to look up info or anything! He just said no receipt you can only have store credit! How hard would it have been to enter info & confirm! He shrugged his shoulder and walked away! Worst repersation of a business you could put out front! Ill never spend another dime towards his paycheck! Someone needs to make him aware of costumer service! No costumers NO JOB! I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO THE GENERAL MANAGER!

The staff was extremely helpful. My car was driving funny and I knew it had to do with the oil alert that my car has been warning me about. Of course I went in with no clue what oil to get and the staff was extremely helpful. The guy found the oil I needed and put it in my car for me. Told me my oil was dangerously low and black explained I still needed an oil chang despite putting in the new oil because the old gunk is stuck in the motor and will contaminate the new oil. I learned something new and my car wont die before I can get it to s mechanic. Thanks guy I dont remember your name if you read this sorry but you were great and super helpful much appreciated. 😊

Great place always get very good customer service

I always go the one in Naugatuck only because of this auto zone. Theres always a line I mean even when there shouldnt be a line, they always create one. The employees are always huddled in the back, talking laughing (never in English but thats another story) or if one employee goes outside, they all go outside. Its the most frustrating place to go buy any part or whatever, there is no in and out. Its shop around for what you need, stand in line for no apparent reason, listen to the Spanish music in the background until they feel the need to help you cash out. Its the worst auto shop place in Waterbury

Ive gone there multiple times and unfortunately the service is not good. Been given misinformation more than once and the wait for help despite them having s full staff is un acceptable at times will update if things change but i recommend goin across the street

Wait time is long if there are more than 2 customers which is usually the case. In rare occasion Ive seen 3 registers open. Good for quick fixes and building your tool set tho.

I purchased a starter for my Ford Taurus less than a year ago with the warranty, the starter died and when I went to exchange it they told me that I have a warranty for an older model Taurus starter!! Impossible since I have owed only this car for the last 5 years. They did not honor the warranty, Im reporting them to the better business bureau in the morning!

He help me right away i wasnt put on hold for 5 minutes and had to call back 4 times no answer like the other Autozone in Waterbury near Wolcott Ave. Looks like i have to drive outta my way to this autozone to get what i want. From up north but was in this hood town for school and needed to get my engine scanned. Was told to wait a sec. Sat there for 20 minutes with no help so i left. Full of people that can hardly speak english. Extremely slow people but what do you expect from puerto ricans and dominicans. Next time ill just go back up north to the good autozone full of humans.
