I started bringing my son here because my boyfriend gets his hair done by manny. And I brought my son whos autistic and he works so well with my son. Hes very conscious of my sons mannerisms and his tendencies. Hes so gentle and talked his way through everything making sure my son felt comfortable. Never had a bad haircut. Manny is top notch!

It was okay. If you don’t know what style you want then coming here is fine for that. I wanted a curtain bang and I even showed the lady what that was but she didn’t really achieve that look. Hair still looks nice but just not at what I really wanted. Also, she was a bit rough with my hair. Drying my hair with the towel, she rubbed in circles instead of scrunching the wet hair into the towel which gave it a bit frizz in the finishing result. Coming for something small is good but I think I’ll just try another place from now on.

Do not recommend. I asked for a simple haircut trim and the older lady they assigned me couldnt even do that. She seemed to be in a rush even though there wasnt many clients (I believe her name was Cindy). Her sectioning was very messy, she didnt wet my hair to ensure an even length, was rude and gave attitude whenever I would ask her a question about my hair.

I went in for to cut my ends and the woman completely ruined my hair. I wanted about half an inch taken off the ends. And I had strands about 6 inches being cut off. The woman completely disregarded what I said all she kept saying was that I should let her put my hair thinner. I loved my thick hair and now she ruined 6 months of progress. At that she didn’t even use a comb to section off my hair. It was a horrible job and I will not be going back. I work in the same mall as this and I will not return. No one please see Vivian as she does not know what she’s doing and she constantly makes her own suggestions against your wishes. Just terrible service

I went in to get my hair done the girl told me my hair was too damaged and told me she saw fresh highlights in it when I just explained to her I was on vacation in Mexico and the pool and water lightened my hair. I had not put conditioner plus I had hair spray in it because I had an event yesterday they put my hair up so it felt dry because I had about 3 cans of hairspray in it she could have just washed and conditioned it.I went to another Salon they took me right in they are doing a treatment in my hair and are doing the balayage.Very disappointed that she didn’t even offer anything else all she did was show me my ends and tell me my hair was too damaged and that it looked like I had just put in fresh highlights…. She was very rude. While I’m not one to write bad reviews I own a business and would at least have listened and not just kept repeating the hair is too damaged when I’m trying to asked her if we should do a treatment she said that wouldn’t help 🙄Bad customer service. They lost about $300 👎👎 because of her

Kevin from C&C was awesome gave recommendations while factoring in budget. He was awesome! I have a real hair issue and this guy considered all of the problems and recommended a plan without selling me more chemicals. If you have a hair concern I’d recommend you talk to him!

I had Cindy she didn’t listen to what I wanted I said a comb over fade with a 1 on the sides and a half of inch off the top she didn’t listen she cut the sides to short and the top to short her clippers broke in the middle of cutting my hair and she completely changed the style I’m never come back here again it’s unbelievable and unacceptable

I went to both of their locations two times they mess up my hair I wanted to try the Waterberry one I called and I asked the lady on the phone if she could recommend me to someone who actually know what they are doing she gave me Jessy Instagram I liked her work and made an appointment for second day ! I went I explained her everything she told me she had to chop my hair because it’s damage I said OK she chopped my hair then I showed her the picture before she chopped my hair ! I showed her the picture what I want in the end nothing came out the way I wanted she did a horrible job took at least five hours she damage more hair ! I had color all over my forehead my ears there a soap still in my ear when I came home I was so unhappy I paid $180 for nothing I would never recommend anybody going here !! They are only good for wash and blow dry

Today was a special day for me and my family. I was not expecting today to go the way it did! My son does not like to cut his hair because he was cut on his ear long time ago. So he goes crazy when its time to cut his hair. So I went first to cut my hair and show him it was not going to hurt him and then it was my sons turn and the barber was so gentle and showed my son the clippers and scissors were not going to hurt him. He kept talking softly to my son and gave him so many complements and made my son smile alot. I was stun not hear my son cry threw the whole time. I recomend C&C unisex hair Design to everyone in CT. Im sorry I can not remember the barbers name but hes is all the way on the left side towards the back and has short black hair towards the front and a short low beard. Thank you C&C. Just came from getting a deep conditioner a blow out cut and flatiron all for $80. My hair didnt even last for 10 min its so frizzy and not worth $80 . This is horrible!!!

I like taking my girls here and letting Tania do their hair. She an excellent stylist and understands my kids hair type.

I have natural hair and I went there to get a deep condition and blow out. Tanya was late frazzled and had my hair smoking and smelling that other customers complained. I have now washed my hair 2 times. My hair is coming out in clumps, my hair has lost its natural curl and straight at the roots. I don’t know if Tanya put chemicals in my hair or caused heat damage, but I do know that I don’t recommend people go there. Especially if they have natural hair. The worse part is that management did not thing about the situation. Just said she washed and did a blow dry which wasn’t the case at all. Beware and choose your hair stylists wisely.

Fast service.Frank does my toddlers hair, he is professional and is very good with young children,he does a fantastic job on my sons hair. He always comes out looking handsome. Frank is very precise when he cuts hair and is very good at his job.My son loves Frank! I’m so great full.The people are nice and kind.If you have a young little boy and he needs a haircut ask for Frank. I highly recommend him.

5 STARS FOR LIZ!!!!!! Liz has been highlighting my hair for years. She is the ONLY hairdresser that has ever listened and made my hair as light as I wanted it to be... WITHOUT FRYING IT! Im not going to lie, I do spend a few hours at each appointment (mainly because my hair takes a while to lighten as I dont sit under the dryer for long to prevent damage) but the end result is ALWAYS WORTH IT!! Liz is HONEST and EXTREMELY PASSIONATE about what she does.... she knows her art!! She has also styled my hair for weddings and let me tell you.... ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I recommend you MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH LIZ if you want your hair done because she is typically booked if you were just to walk in and request her to work her magic on you. She has many long-time clients for a reason... she is THAT GOOD! Oh and p.s.... if you like coffee, ask her for one of her coffee candies ... youll thank me later.

I went into c&c’s early morning today around 10am I asked for a wash and blow out. The lady sent me to a woman named Christine I believe. She was very nice, Had no idea what she was doing though. She cut entirely too much of my hair off after I told her ONLY a dead end trim I lost all my length and my blow out was so frizzy my hair just looked so dry and unhealthy . I really upset she cut my hair so short she was very scissor happy .

My husband brought me here almost a year ago and Im extremely picky on my hair getting cut its very thick and long and I get very nervous with new people but I can honestly say best haircuts ever. I stick to Mariana shes so sweet and absolutely amazing and my husband has been using same barber as well forever I went blank on name OMG but he does have glasses and his chair is in last row at end. And he always cuts hubbys hair to the T perfect . We swear by them. I will there in few days for next cut, cant wait!!

Ive visited several times with different stylists and no one really seems to be properly trained. Vi has done a great job with my hair and understanding what I want. Everyone else, Ive had issues with. Recently went for a female pompadour and undercut. No one knew how to do it, so I was paired with Evren for a shape up...he destroyed my hair and I didnt realize it until I went home and put product in. My hair line was pushed back and the undercut is uneven and way to high on one side. The v cut in the back wasnt even done. I will never go back again. This was the last straw. Its seems none of the stylists/barbers know what theyre doing except Vi and Eric.

This is the place to go for a quick wash and trim and nothing else. Clean and fast, but I’ve always had an issue when receiving any other service. These are clearly home stylists, a good percentage of which do not speak English, making it very hard to communicate what you would like. Do not go here if you are looking to make a major change to your hair: color, bleaching etc. You will not receive the results you want. With Ulta right across the street, I would pay the extra money to have your hair done the way you would like.Just spent $30 to go home and wash/restyle my hair.

I have been going here for a few years now. I dont have not one complaint. There have been times Ive had to call on my way there to make an appointment and they have had availability. My stylist is usually available. Even if she wasnt I would have the option to be seen by someone else. They have every hair service available. Your whole family can now go to one place and get their hair needs taken care of. They are always busy but never turn down a client and always make accommodations.

Honestly the professionalism was out the window!!!! Went from talking about my tattoos, okay fine cool. Then about her relationship problems, cussing, ranting and raving about bad customers, how cutting hair isn’t what she likes to do.... spent so much time talking cut my hair wrong and before I knew it too late, too short!!! Never again! What was supposed to be simple ended up being double the time talking!

I highly recommend hair/color services with LIZ. I colored my hair for the first time in February of this year & loved the way Liz did my ombre. Recently, I had re-touched and lightened and I am even MORE in love with the look.She will not disappoint and recommend all the BEST products to keep the color look bright & your hair healthy.

Horrible customer service! I’ve went a few times to give the place a try and 2 out of 3 times I was so unsatisfied. I went for a hair cut and one side was very obviously too short ! I went for a blow dry and straighten and got a stiff, oily and wavey at the roots mess. When I told them I was not happy the hairdresser tried to blame my hair and then called the manger. I told them I wanted someone who can give me what I want and they said my hair was fine. The owner came and said you pay and you get out. I asked if anyone was going to fix my hair and they told me no. I said I will not pay for something I could have done better myself. I asked them to wet my hair cause I’m not paying and they refused and threatened me with security. Horrible place would not recommend!!!

Tanya is incapable of caring for African American 4A-C hair. She caused severe heat damage to myself, two daughters, and sister. When I spoke with the manager Kim, she denies that anything could have gone wrong. We all have extreme breakage, shedding, and brittle hair. No solution was offered to remedy the problem. If you have African American hair DO NOT go to C&C.

On May 21,2018 I received a trim for $17. They charged $1117 on my credit card. I am trying to reach out to them for it to be returned to be continued.....Update to this debacle...They returned the money. Regarding how they trim hair? I word with Tanya from the DR...what I love about her is she listens to me, and she helps me to reach my hair goals. She trims my hair monthly. Shes the best.

I have a 4year old son who does NOT like to get his hair cut. The woman who cut his hair was very patient and even with my son thrashing and moving around she did a wonderful job. I can only imagine if he sat still the hair cut would be perfect. The salon was busy, as it is right in the waterbury mall. We got right in! No wait time at all!

Never will go here ever again. My hair is finally healthy and past my shoulders for the first time in years of dying my hair. I went here to get a deep conditioning treatment and my hair cut and when I went to get my hair cut I only asked for a trim, barely anything off just to get the dead ends off so it can keep growing in healthy. The lady who cut my hair didnt face me towards the mirror and when she was finish I was ready to cry. $60 in total with an outcome of my hair up to my shoulders with an in even cut. Lots of my hair is very choppy looking I cant even put it down anymore. You can even notice the damage through the ponytail as well. Manager didnt care how upset I was instead said it looked fine. I always got my hair cut here but never again.

After specifically saying to the employee that I didn’t want my 14 year old daughters hair too dark, and after agreeing to a color on a sample, she dyes it Black and then uses the reason that ‘isn’t that the hair color she was born with?’ as her defense! The quality of stylists have plummeted abysmally over the last 4 years and they are rude on top. My last 3 visits were a nightmare, but I chalked it up to walk-in with no one stylist in particular and my hair grows fast so I didn’t worry that much. Been going here almost 20 years, never will they see me again after today.

Had a haircut c & c unisex, Jocelyn’s sister did a terrible job. Very unprofessional, didn’t show me my haircut in the back because it was so awful, very uneven and shape up was even worse. Went in looking better than I came out.

My hair cut went great but I went back to have my hair dyed and paid $140 for highlights and my hair looked exactly the same. I’ll go back for a cut maybe but never a dye again

I suggest you not go here . So I went to the salon and as the girl was sitting me down she started clipping my hair into sections. I showed her the haircut I wanted, then when she was about to start she pulled my mom to the side . She said that I had lice and I know I didn’t because I never had lice my whole life . She embrassed me so much that I wanted to cry everyone was staring . It was dandruff the whole time because my hair is dry they don’t know anything. She didn’t even say sorry never going here again ..... This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star it’s absolutely horrible .

I went here about a year ago for a wash blow dry and trim. 2 weeks later I went in a pool and to my horror after that my hair began falling out. Mind you I normally never use heat on my hair once in A blue moon perhaps. I washed it 5 times in one day but couldnt get the smell of perm out of it.i lost about 6 inches of my hair that has yet to grow back because of the damage and it has severely crippled my confidence I cannot express this enough DO NOT GO HETR.

I want to get my hair bleached to go to a color and they bleached me too much not only that I paid over $200 and for a wash n blow dry n cut! SHE DIDNT EVEN. CUT MY HAIR RIGHT!!! And she didn’t even dry it I left with my hair soaking wet and cut not even even..I am a very loyal customer are used to go every week now I’m never going back I literally cried when I got home from how bad it was my hair looked real bad I couldn’t even go to work.. I had to pay someone else to fix my hair the next day!!!! Im so sad n disappointed!!!

No one at this salon would give any info about a former hairdresser, Sunan. I found out Sunan is working at Sals barbershop, on the 2nd level of Waterbury mall...outside of Sears, across from the food court. Im so happy I found her!
