Very good customer service. Unfortunately suppliers are not able to get storm windows to me before winter. I ordered them 4 months ago.And more weeks keep getting added.

I found the product I want on line. Home Depot says they carry this product. I wanted to verify that they do indeed have this item in stock before I drive 20 miles across town. I have been calling on the phone for 90 minutes. Always rings busy. What a way to avoid customers.So sad,

Spent 1,700$ on new whirlpool washer and dryer. The delivery crew didnt take old units until 2 weeks later which they said they would take when they dropped off new units. The new washer broke after 3 cycles. Home depot will not accept a return. The whirlpool washer has a 1 year warranty but the technician cant get parts to fix it. 3 months later I still have a broken washer. 7 plus calls with the tech and no parts. I advise to not buy a whirlpool washer from home depot.

Outstanding service at the garden center with Carole LeFevre. She gives you 100% attention to your needs and makes an effort to ensure all your needs are met. She is very knowledgeable about my inlet garden center information but knows and explains the variety of brands of tools and uses. Gave helpful information on the various weed eater/edgers. She knows her business!!

Went in to buy a refrigerator. Wish I would have caught the staff persons name, but she was amazingly helpful. Patient. Was also very pleased that we were not harassed about mask wearing. We will definitely continue to support Home Depot. Thank you.

Great help when looking at carpet and getting us an estimate on our measurements. Told us about the installation program as well so we got that set up to start. Also we were price checking tub/shower combos and saw one here we really like and are thinking about getting.

Karl was great. We went to Menards, Lowes and Home Depot and Karl was the most informed and helpful person we worked with in search of blinds. We were happy to give him and Home Depot our business.

Went in to buy some 3/4” quarter round, asked the first kid I saw in lumber where it was. He replies with “what? I don’t even know what that is.” I know dimensional lumber is different from trim, but come on kid. Overall fantastic store though, just had to share this kids story. Haha

Went to get gas Generator in Waterloo due to CR being Sold out! They had none but was able to get Gas grill for Cooking! Out of Electricity for 11 days, that Grill has come in VERY handy and it was also a Good value! Staff was very helpful with Our Needs.

Called ahead to see about exchanging a defective snow blower that I had bought at the Ankeny store a few weeks prior. (Due to the snow storm(s) Ankeny didn’t have any in stock, but Waterloo had 3. They held a new one for me up at the service desk which was great as I live an hour away. Was in and out within 5 minutes to exchange it. The process was such a breeze and made the trip so much less stressful. They even took care of getting rid of the box for me! Definitely will come back to this location.

Had a difficult time trying to find help in the tub section. One associate said they would get me help and it took 15 minutes. Another customer found someone to help me.

Im a new resident in Cedar Falls and one of my first stops was the Home Depot, specifically the paint department. And there I met Ellen! My initial order was pretty simple but Ellen was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything I needed to get started on my many projects. Her service was fast, efficient and exemplary. Ive been back several more times and Ellen has offered terrific advice about my less traditional projects. Ive been away from the Midwest for over 20 years but am so glad to be back among the Iowa Nice folk just like Ellen!!

Picked up my new mower and blower here and liked it for the most part. It would have been nice if they helped my load them into the truck though.

I bought the Milwaukee battery kit and the 4-1/2 m-18 grinder. They were running a deal that I can get a 5amo battery with the grinder I bought. At first the lady said I can go grab everything then rescan then and get the battery. So I went to grab battery, and as I come back she says that I can’t do it anymore. Somebody messed up in the sales department and they don’t want to take responsibility for the mistake and take it out on the customers...terrible...I even called shards of time and the hardware section said that it was fine.

We had thw best experience ever! We were looking at carpet. An associate, named Jim, showed us all our options. Explained about free installation, showed us the way they sell pad. (We have family that can do the installation) what would work out best for US! Jim is the best, he was also very modest.

I went to Home Depot in Waterloo Iowa looking to buy a 10x10 gazebo‘ They had one installed as a display I was interested in purchasing one the salesperson said that they had 7 in stock on 4/18/2021 .today is 4/19/2021 I went to the store website and it said that they want have any in stock for another 2 weeks so I guess they sold 7 gazebos in 1 day I’ll take my business to Lowe’s Home Depot just lost $1,000 for lying to me

We were looking for a hard to find item that Home Depot ended up not having. The gentleman who was helping us sent us to a different store where we found everything we needed! Great customer service!!!

Had what I needed and I like their self checkout.

Usually friendly and helpful. Pushed their buzzer several times but no one came outside to answer our questions about their sheds. After 5 minutes of waiting and not even being acknowledged that someone would be coming to help us we left and went to a competitor.

With all of our choices, I rarely choose HD. However, they carry certain products that nobody else does, so they do have their place (Makita tools).

What a huge disappointment- wanted to buy some flooring had someone paged and waited 20 minutes & NO ONE showed up to help! No one seemed to care when I went to customer service. Will most definitely take my business elsewhere-

Its a typical home depot which seems understaffed lime most businesses anymore. You can walk for miles and never see an employee. I have had to cut chain myself several times because I cant find anyone. A little buzzer by the chain cutting area would make sense but I guess the company doesnt think that hard. For the most part they have what I need. Just wish the selection was better. The other stores hours away always seems to carry the big ticket items Im looking for. Had to downgrade my cordless drill selection because they didnt carry the better kit. All in all in a decent place and they allow people under the age of 16 with no mask so thats better then menards.

Ordered online and picked up in store. Quick visit and very helpful staff. Just wish I was closer.

Nice store,good location

No pressure salesmen so much so that when I went in to buy a washing machine nobody came to help me, so I moved over to the desk area where all the employees were, I heard one of the employees say youve got somebody waiting. I eventually just left because even though they saw me standing there nobody acknowledged me. But I guess generally I go to home Depot for most purchases just wish they would be a little more helpful or have more staff on the floor.

Had trouble navigating the website. It kept taking me to places not relevant to what I was searching for- wanted outdoor furniture and it took me to paint, tried again and I got paint.

Very helpful and willing to find a solution to a home improvement problem. Customer service is far better than Lowes. Prices are better as well.

Ive only had one issue with home depot, it involved the app and was during covid19. A waterloo manager was nice enough to help out and got my late order (stuck in IL for over a week) pushed through a second time and i was able to get my order in a timely manner. Every other experience has gone wothout a hitch.

Great place and what I have noticed is that it is getting better. Keep it up Home Depot!

Home Depot has a great variety of items, there to Lyle is awesome I can always find something I need to buy.Not like the other do it yourself or lumberyards there is always someone at Home Depot to help you find what youre looking for.Very clean all the stores in different towns Ive been to are always very clean.They are very competitive on their prices on any item Ive looked at.

Wish they would stock more seasonable items but the staff was reasonable and polite and explained that they carry most of what we were looking for online

I bought some ledger stone by the pallet and then needed a couple of extra boxes. Home Depot wouldnt sell it to me by the case. They wanted me to spend $200 extra on product I wouldnt use rather than provide quality customer service.
