Please don’t go to this dealership. They only care about making as much money as possible off their customers. I understand the need to make a profit, but in my case they were robbing me.First they are asking well over the Ford MSRP. I tried to work a deal on a new Bronco and they wanted $680 a month for 60 months with $2500 down. I ended up purchasing a new car at Volkswagen for the same exact sticker price. The terms are $580 a month for 60 months with $0 money down. Clearly, they are not an honest dealership. I have a text message to prove this in case the owners are interested. However, I doubt the owners care.

Have a lease. Possibly wanting to purchase the vehicle. My husband took car on day one. No one inspected vehicle. We got pay off amount and waited till next day to decide what to do. When he went back then they want to inspect it. One way or the other they are responsible for inspecting it. I have to take back a 3rd time. Not efficient.

We bought a new Explorer with the promise of preferred service if we were to have any issues with that would require us to bring it in for any issues. They buy process was smooth, easy, and fast, but that’s where our good experience ended. When we’ve brought it in for maintenance they would offer a shuttle ride home, and every time I’ve ended up waiting hours on the shuttle. The first month after buying we had a battery charging issue and had to take it in to find out what’s wrong with it. Because of work/school schedules I asked about a loaner car. We had to beg for a loaner car. The second issue was with the cross bars we bought from then when we got the vehicle. One of the screws that secures the bar to the roof rails fell out. I called to get a replacement screw, and I’m still getting the run around about get it. Now more recently we’re having issues with the transmission, and they can’t get us in until next week to look at it, and to top it off we would have to rental a car from them in order to have an extra vehicle. The vehicle was over $40,000 which is quite the investment during these times of financial uncertainty. We chose to purchase the vehicle here on the promise of the services that would be provided, and yet we haven’t had them meet their promises since. Fortunately this has persuaded me that I would not ever purchase a vehicle from Southwest because of the empty promises they make in order to make a sale.

I received a notice of recall on my vehicle. I called a week before to make an appointment. I showed up for the appointment timely. I was told it would be ready in 1 or 2 days. I was not gone 15 minutes before they called me to say they had the part but a lot of cars in front of me. So probably looking at next week before it is ready. Why in the world would they not text me to tell me this before I had someone follow me and make arrangements for my 91 year old mother be taken care of while I was gone??? When I called them to say it was unacceptable and I cannot go without my car for that long. I was told that the process of letting you bring in your car and giving you an amount of time you will be without your works for them. REALLY!!! What about the customer? Will NEVER go there again. Is this how senior citizens are treated now??

Once you finally get an appointment everyone there is very nice and the place is very clean. My car was there for 12 days. They did find bad hub bearings and replaced, inspected it and changed the oil and filters. But sadly as soon as I pulled out on the highway the noise I took it in for is still there and my gas mileage still going down. My husband called back the next and and was told Tony had quit, he was put on hold and no one ever came to the phone.

I was promply greeted upon arrival and cheerfully tended to by all of the staff. It was a professional atmosphere and most efficient. The team worked together flawlessly. I will definitely send friends to Southwest Ford.

However, of all the dealers I spoke to in my used vehicle search, I would have gladly drove the 9 hours to buy from these people over anyone else. The salesman I was dealing with, Joe Vance, was genuinely friendly, knowledgeable about the vehicle. The questions he could not answer, he researched. He took picture after picture of the vehicle, trying to make sure I wouldnt drive down for something I wouldnt like. I coild consider him a friend. We drove 2 hours from Abilene to look at a truck that sold before we arrived. They made up for it by working with us on the price of a higher model that checked more of our wants. We ended up paying a bit more than the original truck we went to look at, but got a great deal on our ranger xlt. Their willingness to work with the numbers so everyone was happy, and the fact that they spoke to both of us as an equal unit instead of just my husband is something many dealers are lacking on. They also sent us home with a nice loaner until they can finish the aftermarket work and deliver the truck to us! Very impressed with their service compared to any dealer weve dealt with in our city of Abilene. Worth the drive, for sure.

Southwest Ford was very quick to reply after inquiring about a new Ford Bronco Sport online. They set up an appointment the following day with Jesse Valle. Jesse was informative and kind. I came by myself because my husband was tied up at work. After negotiating on my trade in value and payments they couldnt get the numbers where I wanted them. Bought a used car here in October from Crystal - she was awesome! She wasnt at all pushy and was super knowledgeable about the car. She was friendly but also didnt waste my time at all and made sure I was taken care of once we went to finance. I have told multiple people who are starting their research for a new car to consider Crystal. One thing that set her apart from other salespeople I had dealt with at other dealerships was her promptness in responding to me and her flexibility. For some reason some dealerships insisted on calling me even when I specified wanting to communicate via text or email. Seems like a petty complaint, but my job often has me in a setting where I cant talk on the phone but can text or email. As a result, it was a pain setting an appointment with other dealerships. After emailing Crystal, I had a response via email and a confirmation of an appointment to see the car I was interested in within about 5 minutes of my initial email.For whatever reason the finance department seemed a little all over the place? Some of that was due to issues out of their hands and they handled it professionally. Crystal stuck around and waited for me to wrap up, which totally didnt have to do but really speaks to her level of follow through for the customer. Overall no complaints about finance.I love the car I bought and the 1 time Ive gone back so far for service, everyone in the service department has been the utmost professional and quickly taken care of the issue. I used to work in the corporate office of a high end hospitality geared business and its very obvious to me from that experience that everyone in the service department has been trained extensively in customer service.

In December, I purchased a used 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch from SW Ford, and shortly after purchase, I noticed that the auto-lane assist feature was not working properly, so I decided to ask about having it fixed while taking my truck in for a routine oil change. Theres an olboy working there named Colton who is my service advisor, so I explained to him about my trucks auto-lane assist feature not working and to have the mechanics take a look at it while in the shop. It happened that while my truck was in the shop getting an oil change, the mechanics discovered an oil leak--which turned out to be an oil leak coming from the transmission. So as you can imagine, Im very happy the mechanics paid attention to details while performing an oil change and noticed the oil leak coming from the transmission. I was then able to get the auto lane assist feature and transmission oil leak both repaired--a repair that cost nearly $5000--while my truck was still under warranty. This saved my truck from possible damage to the transmission and also saved me a lot of money in repair.Without a doubt, the service department at Southwest Ford is among the best of its industry. I can tell they work hard at providing a reputable service and strive to be the best in the business (and thats not just lip service). Keep up the god work SW Ford!
