I can count the number of times Ive trusted a shop to do work for me, and at least half the time the results were unfavorable, so I was glad to find this shop near me. They are not inexpensive, but they do good work, and with quality parts. Recently I called to get a quote to replace the front struts on my old Corolla, and the price quoted was way too high considering I could buy the parts for much, much less and do it myself in 3 hours. But I also found out they were going to use KYB shocks, which are essentially OEM or better (which I ended up using). The catalytic converters they replaced on my Xterra SUV were backed by a 2-year warranty which they upheld! Basel and Mohammed and the guys are very honest. They recently did a radiator flush on my Xterra at a reasonable price.

Please do not go there for Windshield repair. They broke mine. I went there one day and the guy on the counter said he dont know how to do it and asked to come back the next day.I went there the next day another guy on the counter took my car in the repair area. After waiting a while they told me it broke and noticed the guy who told me the first day he dont know how do it, actually try doing it and broke it.They didnt offer any compensation, no disclaimer was given prior to taking my car. Very unreliable and unprofessional place.

These guys run an amazing business. They know what they are doing, treat you with respect, have efficient service, treat your car with care. They are honest about the work needed and very reasonable cost. I feel like they treated me how they would treat a family member coming into their shop. My SUV broke down on Friday night and had it towed here. I was apprehensive at first since I was from out of town and did not know any of the auto repair shops. But after I spoke to the owner Friday night to discuss the issues I was more at ease. They got to work immediately on Saturday morning with a complete and comprehensive diagnostic. They called me that morning and we reviewed the diagnostic report and I authorized the work. I checked average repair costs and they were in line. The owner and his team did a fantastic job repairing my vehicle and getting me back on the road later that day to DFW. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to go over all of my vehicle’s service issues. I trust these guys and would come back no matter what if I ever needed my vehicle repaired again. Great team and highly skilled!

I went in for an oil change, and state inspection, and the crew here was quick, polite, and professional. I watched them take the time to assist an elderly couple in front of me to ensure they knew exactly what they would need to do with their inspection and even let them know where they can go to finish the registration. Kudos to the Team.

Guy agreed to pass inspection even though I had leaking power starting fluid if I bought windshield wipers after purchasing he said it would be another 1100 to get it to pass inspection so he tricked me into buying new wipers when I would t have passed in the first place took it somewhere else got it going and fixed the leak for half the price

This place is ridiculous with their gas prices. It’s always $0.70 more than any other gas station within 10 miles. Makes no sense. I wouldn’t even want to go inside, I’d imagine a can of Coke is probably $5.

I don’t know why anyone would ever go here. Gas is consistently 40-60 cents more expensive than the Shell that is two lights south on Bay Area. It’s also smaller and harder to get to. As I write this station is selling gas at $2.39 and the Shell on Bay Area is at $1.95

I had a serious fuel leakage and they found the problem. Needed to replace my fuel filter. I am so grateful that they are very honest and bright people. My heros. Thank you for saving the day because my beat up suv has to last me a little longer and you all made it happen. ^_^

Went in knowing that the alternator was the issue, shell guy told it was something about the fuel injectors. Got stuck on the highway THREE times before we gave up and took it somewhere else, it was the alternator! Got it fixed for a third of the price it would have been at shell

I explained to the two in great detail of what I was experiencing with my car. They made an assessment, but we were still a little lost at what was going on with the car. I had my car towed to Shell (on a Sat. around lunch time) assuming the starter needed replacement. Mohammed was very receptive and amiable. A short time later, I received a call from Mohammed (shortly after lunch time) confirming said assumption (after running diagnostics). A reasonable price was quoted then accepted. Approximately 2.5 hours later, I received a call stating my car was ready. It was a smooth, friendly, timely transaction. I would absolutely return if I need to (but hopefully not).

I have been bringing my family cars to El Dorado Shell for a long time and plan on continuing to do so. They do great work, have fair prices, have a very knowledgeable staff and are genuinely caring and friendly. I brought our three cars in for oil change this week and they noted to me that one car was due for an inspection. While they were checking the cars tire condition and pressure and checking all fluid levels in the cars they found one car had its brake fluid much lower than normal. Upon a closer inspection they found a leak in the high pressure hose and showed me where it was leaking. I had the inspection done and the high pressure hose replaced. They do a through job. They gave me a veterans discount on all the work. By the way they have good coffee.

Gas prices here are usually 60 to 70 cents more per gallon than gas stations literally two blocks away. Avoid if youre looking for cheap gas. As of date of this posting gas here costs $2.79 while the gas station just two blocks down on El Dorado sells it for $2.07 per gallon. Do yourself a favor dont get gas here.

My 1st trip here and Im so impressed. The people are wonderful. Very friendly. Ive watched customers coming and going and how they people know there customers and past problems. I have been doing business here for years, since Basil took over management. They do all sorts of repairs quickly and accurately, have done my repairs and inspections for years. It is a great place in my opinion. They even repaired a flat for my wife after repair hours when she stopped by on her way out of town and had run over a nail in the road, and didnt even charge her!

One of the most comprehensive and customer oriented place I have been to. I brought my truck for and alignment and they put it on the rack and immediately brought me into the shop and explained to me what was out of alignment and how to fix it. Great customer service.

Basel is an great mechanic that gets work done quickly and at a good price. I thought I would need an AC compressor repair, which would probably be $800+. They checked the system and saw only the lines needed to be fixed, and they were right. Instead of paying $800 for a new compressor it was only $200 to fix the lines. I refer my family and friends here because I know they will be treated well.

I got my car inspected at El Dorado Shell. I walked right in and was finished in about 20 minutes. The manager and staff were very friendly, and even offered me bottled water. I had an outdated insurance card, yet they allowed me to use their personal computer and printer to print out the current card which helped ease the process along. I will definitely go back for future inspections and maintenance.

I had the best time getting my car fixed, which sounds weird but its true. Basel was a hoot and gave me the opportunity to get my alignment free if I beat him in an arm wrestling match. Great experience at the El Dorado Shell. I brought my truck for some repairs and needing a quick turnaround. They were very accommodating and got my truck out the same day. The biggest surprise was when Basel, the owner, told me that since the repairs didnt take as long as expected, he was reducing the labor charge and I got out of there paying $100 less than the original quote. I have 4 vehicles and this is the only place I have taken them for repair in the last 4 years. Great service, great team. Historically, Ive been somewhat skeptical of mechanics, but these guys show me every part that is replaced on my cars. They also show me all the diagnostics, so theres no questions. Initially diagnosed at the parts house as a faulty alternator. Brought the vehicle in to the El Dorado Shell to have the alternator replaced. The owner, Basel, gave me a quote for the alternator replacement and I approved the repair. The next day, I received a call letting me know that they retested the alternator and it was functioning normally and that the issue appeared to be the battery. A battery replacement later and my wife was back on the road. This repair was MUCH cheaper than the expected alternator replacement. I really appreciated the honesty. Highly recommend this shop.

I took my infiniti to them to replace the wheel hubs, tie rods, bearings. They did an excellent job within 3 hours, i have been in business as a general manager for 16 years and i know what a great customer service means. the employees are so friendly and very professional, i spoke with Basel and Zakaria, hope i wrote their names correctly :) and both made me feel so welcomed, these guys know how to treat customers the right way and they are very honest. its hard to find honest mechanics these days. but from now on, Shell at El dorado mechanic will be the only mechanic i will take my vehicles to, i paid about 75 % what i would pay if i took my vehicle to these big chain companies or other mechanics, i just want to say thank you for your excellent service, my vehicle drives so smooth now. Ops I forget the gentlemen at the register who i paid was great also. i believe they have an excellent training program. what a great service from these guys. I will definitely recommend them.

We took our car in to have coolant and freon added and they told us the coolant fan needed to be replaced and it would only cost $68. When we went to go pick it up the bill was $634. How do you go from $68 to $634 on a fan? Well they said it was the whole fan assembly that had to be replaced not just the fan. Needless to say they have lost our business for good.

Its a good gas station also has some necessary groceries but more of that is a good car service stop.
