My graphics card crapped the bed and I took it to MVP technologies to diagnose and repair the problem. I asked them if they could fix the graphics card problem and For 90 dollars, they diagnosed the problem. (I assumed this would cover the repair as well, my mistake) 1 day later I was called and told that the graphics card actually wasnt the problem, it was the hard drive and they offered to wipe the hard drive and reload windows for an extra 20 dollars. Being relieved that it wasnt the graphics card, I agreed to the price and they told me it would take 20 minutes to finish.I did not receive a call for the rest of the day so after work I went down to the store assuming that my computer was all set. At that point I was told that it was actually my graphics card (didnt call me when it failed)and needed to be replaced but that the 20 dollar reload fee (Which basically was them clicking one button) was still being charged and that they would call me. 110 dollars so farThey wanted me to pick a graphics card and charge me an additional cost for the installation of the graphics card, which basically was unscrewing 2 screws and plugging it in to the motherboard. Overall a 20 min procedure. It was at this point I just wanted my tower back and I was going to pursue this issue on my own so I told them I couldnt afford the graphics card and I just wanted my computer backThis point the technician told me that she was trusting me to bring it back saying that it would cost a lot more if I didnt. She then said that if I put the broken graphics card back in. That I would fry the other components of my computer (Which is 100% inaccurate). Ended up fixing it myself.110 dollars for a solution that was wrong and a diagnosis that I knew ahead of time. Worst place ever and they seek to exploit those who have very little understanding of hardware and software problems and then telling me that I was getting off cheaply.

They start off good but when I had a problem they said they really dont like to help to much,Jim said he would call back but he Never did,I got Malware bytes from them and then they couldnt provide the purchase information I needed for malwarebytes people to help, and said _ I would never get it back and they dont care about me because they did the same to other customers before me... In the end MVP PEOPLE DID NOT HELP AT ALL,and Malwarebytes people were very helpful and got it fixed,it was the lifetime package, that I had for only 2 yrs and I guess MVP thinks thats long enough...

Great little computer shop. Friendly atmosphere clean and professional.

Took them 20 minutes to find my computer when I went to pick it up, had to go back when I realized they didnt return the power cord with it. Had them replace the screen for me and it only worked for a few months and then after that, every time I wanted to use it I had to move the screen to various angles in order to get it to stay on. After a while it stopped turning on completely. I had my friend look at it and he found a significant amount of debris (broken pieces) from the previous screen that they mustve left in the computer while they were replacing it. Im now going to have to replace my laptop because the broken pieces caused too much damage to fix.
