The employees are very sweet and helpful! The store manager does a great job and it shows through her employees.

I recently entered this hidden gem in my neighborhood. I didnt expect much before entering, but quickly became pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. There is an ample selection of groceries, toiletries, home goods--to name a few. You can pick up your favorite brands while also having a more affordable option (all reasonably priced). I especially appreciate how clean and organized the the store is.I am very happy to have gone in a place where I can quickly pick up everyday items--including items for a last-minute taco night.

I went to this location to get 2 things. When I walked in, there was a cashier. When I was ready to check out, no a single cashier. I waited a few minutes before I left my items at the register. I was in the store for no more than 5 minutes. If someone wanted to walk right out with merchandise, they could have easily done it because not a single employee was up front.

The store is clean, organized and very welcoming. I would always recommend this store to my family and friends. But the store definitely needs a little more TLC and a few more workers. Im available and would love to join the Dollar General family...... Just putting that out there... Lol

Went to pick up some totes for moving with my almost three year old. Went to ask the employee to use the bathroom and he told me we have a rule for that and I said I’m gonna buy some totes but would like to use the bathroom first. And he told me he had to ask his manager and that manager never showed up so went to look for totes and they don’t have anything labeled right and not enough lids. So I left. Not happy. Not coming back.

Very disorganized and chaotic inside, hard to social distance. Hard to figure out where things are inside. When I asked someone, who has been there before, they said it is always this way. Staff talked loudly to each other and hardly spoke to us. One employee (seemed like a manager or lead) had her mask around her chin and her entire face exposed. Other employees had their noses out of masks. Didnt seem very clean either. Would not recommend.

Store is new and very nice (especially in comparison to the older, dumper locations). Employees are hit or miss. Some are pleasant and attentive, others are lazy and impersonal.

I had never really shopped at a DG store until they put one about 3 minutes from my house. I am so glad they did! Great prices and a much bigger variety of items that I expected. They have a little bit of everything. Also, its either every Saturday or every other but they do #5 of of a $25 purchase. There is a coupon with details on every receipt. Definitely recommend!

This is a good store to go and explore dont go here enough to always know what they have. Good for odds and ends

5 stars to the store for wide range of selections and 4, maybe less, stars for the employees because i just now was informed of the untamed behavior and profanity that theyve exhibited towards other customers. find better employees!

First time at this location. Huge selection. Upon entering, the radio was playing WAP and a cashier was wearing their mask on their chin. So I pulled mine down since it seemed to be ok. I seen the other cashier with earbuds in too. Lol- maybe he didnt want to listen to WAP 😂 🙄🙄

So we were excited about this new store. Once we go in the store we were greeted by a female screaming profanities at her children. Nice start. Once that dust settled I was almost ran down by a clerk stocking shelfs with a cart several times. Guess she was running late... Then as we were looking around we heard another round of profanities, this time from the check out and the stocking person. It was about their hours and who was not working. But the most disappointing thing is that they had a lot of nothing. Not at all like other stores. Sorry, but Im not going here again.

Please change store hours on website. Corporate needs to pay a visit to this location. Unprofessional all around. Im disappointed after waiting months for this location to open. Had much higher expectations. Get some new management in there to crack some heads.

So I entered this new location on the evening of Saturday, January 18th, 2020. Now I am adult male 30 years of age who has carried a medium size to small school bag on my back for as long as I can remember. In my school bag, I have things that I always like to have on my person, such as important work documents, lotion, sanitizer, wallet, water, medications, baggy with 24 dollars in quarters for laundry and other emergencies, you name it. Now for as long as I can remember, I have been patronizing retail stores with my school bag in tow no issue whatsoever. However, on this sad night in West Allis, WI, I was shouted at by a heavyset older lady from the front counter, “Take off that bag, set it at the entrance somewhere. You’re not to have it on you if you’re going to be shopping our store.” I did not care to go back outside in the freezing cold and snow to put my bag in my car. Terribly uncomfortable with setting my bag at the front counter out of control of my belongings, i POLITELY inquired with the clerk, “I don’t understand, very confused actually. Why do I have to take my bag and leave it at the front before shopping?!” She snaps back, “You already know the answer to that question. I’m not answering that.” I let her know that she has lost my service and quickly leave the store. The following day, I call back with my complaints. An assistant store manager defended the clerk’s decision to have me take off my bag before entering because of “a rash of thefts” he claimed they were having at this location even though it’s a brand new location and in West Allis (PS Family Video used to exist at this very same space before they moved next door, and they never demanded me to take off my backpack in the many times I patronized them). I inquired on how they treat their many female customers with big purses they bring into the store. The store manager argued with me on and on about how a purse is different from a backpack because of the size and how you could fit only so much into a purse. I explained the size of my backpack is small and that you can still throw things in a purse regardless. Even my FEMALE friend I got on the phone with and told this whole story to raved on how ridiculous what this assistant manager said was. My FEMALE friend said a woman could very easily throw things into her purse, in fact even more easily than a backpack as it’s right on her shoulder. I was argued with on this at every turn during the phone call by this assistant manager. After first claiming he was the manager, he elaborated later on in the call after I said I was going to address this with headquarters that he was only an assistant manager and very little he could do, that I’d have to call later and take my complaints up with a head manager. He also said I shouldn’t shop their store if I need to have my backpack on. Wish is my command, I will never be back.

Why is it 6:15 pm on Saturday, and you guys are closed? The sign on your door and the hours on your website say the store is open till 10. Did you just not feel like opening? We were really excited to have a dollar general so close to our house, but we are really disappointed. Why even open the store there? You guys just do what you want. The icing on the cake is the trashy music you loudly play on the radio behind the counter. Real professional.
