Just be aware you probably wont find any tools that will last generations or anything, but the price is right if you need a one-of tool in the moment or maybe wanted to experiment with different tools before buying a high-end tool. Ive had plenty of tools and equipment last me from Harbor Freight but Im not a professional or an extreme hobbyist.

I needed some jack stands, and there was no way I would buy some at Home Depot (too expensive). I found a really good deal on some jack stands at my nearest harbor freight, which I snagged instantly. I was working on my car later, and next thing I knew, the darn things snapped and my car crushed me to death. While the funeral did end up costing much more than jack stands from another company, I still died happy knowing I saved a few bucks.

Call them before you go looking for something cuz they might not have it but its pretty good service

Bought an electric drill I needed for an outdoor project. I nedded a drill with a little/alot more power than an average battery powered drill to make quick work of augering through some landscape timbers. The drill I purchased here got the job done quickly. It cost me all of $23.00, and since I dont drill through concrete with my regular power tools, I should still be using this one 20 years from now.

Its a great place to buy cheap, throw away power tools that you dont end up throwing away.The tools are a little on the heavy side but the price is usually a half or less of name brand ones.Dont know if I would get cordless there.

Low-cost, often low-quality “Made in China” type tools and hardware. Cheap tarps. You don’t want to buy something here that you plan on using frequently; this is more for items you don’t expect to get a lot of use out of before it breaks. We prefer tools that last a long time, and prefer buying US products when possible, but sometimes money is tight and sometimes these are good enough.Staff are always helpful and know where things are. Cashiers are very friendly. As much as there’s tons of inventory in the store, I’ve never seen it less than clean and orderly. There are almost always discount coupons, and often freebies, if you have the right coupon for that too. Google “harbor freight coupon” plus the month and year and you’ll likely find one. They honor online coupons shown from your phone.

Yeah, cheap tools, but on a cost per use basis they are a good deal. We have a professional fab shop and most of the tools these guys sale do a fine job for us. 4.5 grinder on sale for $19.00, and its the better quality version. AWESOME deals... Gloves and lots of supplies that the quality is there and you just cant beat the price. I bought a 3500 watt generator there that has seen regular usage for 5 years now. With the discount coupon it cost me $249.00. AWESOME deals!!! Highly recommended! A+++

Yet another chain review...Basically a good place to up your tool inventory on the cheap. And while some tools are good for like, maybe three uses, there are definitely some gems in there. Plus most items that wear out anyway like batteries and drill bits and blades are here for the cheap taking also. You have to do your homework with anything power, but the hand tools have basically the same warranty other brand names do. And some stuff may just last your lifetime.

They have okay things at low prices sometimes but the quality isnt the best tho so shopping around or being more educated on tools and equipment helps. Some of the staff isnt very knowledgeable about the different products and values nor difference on tools.

One of my favorite bargain bin stores. Always has a wide selection of items and sales constantly. Always worth a trip for browsing around or to find tools and equipment for anything from automotive to home repair. The staff is always knowledgeable of where just about anything is at. Even though the items are inexpensive, they are not cheap quality...for most part.

This store is small but Ive never visited it and not find what I need. They always have the best sales on tools. Yea most of the things they sell are off-brand but they work just as fine as the big names in tools if not better. I shop here all the time with my husband. Highly recommended for fathers day. Make sure you check out their sales and. Coupons online before coming to the store.

Every tool half the price, but you always roll the dice... this is the discount tool store with just about everything you need to do most of the basic projects out there they have everything from air tools to accessories hoses and woodworking Automotive Construction just about everything however the quality is not necessarily the same as other tools same goes with warranty but most products simply dont require the more expensive version. This is a great place to go if youre going to get a tool to do one job.

Great store. Tools are always cheap. I am always impressed of the price. I do a lot little projects at my home and can same money because I only need the tool to last the short project. I would have not problem agreeing with someone who said you get what you pay for. The workers there are always willing to help you find something.

Awesome tools that are hard to find that other stores

1st time at Harbor Freight Tools. I have seen the ads but had never been there. So much fun! I found a tool chest that I wanted so bad for an office desk. Put a pin in that impulse buy. Did find lots of tools that I never new I needed. My husband bought me a bike rack for my Jeep as an early birthday present. They even sold wheel chairs.The store is well organized and the staff is very nice. Definitely am going back soon. I have a coupon for free batteries .

Somewhat unorganized, but friendly staff.Not the highlight for name branded items, keep that in mind. Handy items to have around the house for quick projects or hobbys.Stay away from power or other electric/gas & tools and youll be fine.

Whats not to like about cheap tools? The staff is helpful and if I know what I want, its in and out. Great place to rummage through the sale bins...when theyre having a sale...which seems like every day. Also, HFT has made the expiration dates on their coupons larger so I dont need a telescope to read them.
