Worst car shopping experience ever. My wife and I had narrowed the candidates for the car wed be interested in purchasing down to 3 models. We looked online, saw that this dealership had a number of one of those models and decided to come in to take one of them for a test drive. Upon arriving at the dealership we were met by a salesman (Noah). He in no uncertain terms made it perfectly clear that we would not be test driving any vehicles unless we would commit to purchasing a car that day. His excuse was that they couldnt hand out keys to uncommitted prospective customers for fear of depreciating their stock. While in his office he took an outside phone call without an apology for the interruption before or after. In response to an offer that I made after he asked what range Id find acceptable (within market prices found online) he sneered and said nah, Id only maybe be able to give you $100 off, make you feel like you negotiated something, pay for a nice dinner after. No pitching alternative models or redirecting us to other of the several Russ Darrow branches, no actual effort to make a sale that doesnt fall directly into his lap.Altogether, no sense that he would listen to anything my wife and I said unless we were willing to walk that minute with him to the finance table. I can only assume hes retained his sales position due to the inflated sales environment of today. I realize the car market is hot right now but my money works LOTS of places and WILL NOT be spent here.

Over all the experience was tolerable. Everyone did their part to be nice. I was able to test drive a vehicle on my own for the afternoon to have my mechanic look it over but the salesman neglected to fill the tank so I had to dish out my own money to put gas in which was NOT reimbursed. Also the car we chose, we asked to look into a part to be fixed, was told no problem, and then they neglected to discuss it, constantly ignored. Cars buying is not like it once was.

They will not take down the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder S model and it been over a week. I had called Friday last week and had a friend call today only for them to want you to look at other models with high mileage. I will never do business with this dealership.

Although there was a little snafu initially, my service rep made it right. The only thing that I was surprised with was the charge for using a charge card. I was not informed of this in advance of the appointment. This is the first large business I’ve encountered that has implemented that and I think it’s a little ridiculous. When you have large ticket items or service on a vehicle that’s several hundred dollars, most customers would probably like to charge not debit.

Aside from paying the cashier, my recent service was completely contactless. I dropped my vehicle off the evening prior, Roger kept me up to date and informed on the services being performed and his recommendations on how to proceed via the phone. Repairs were completed ahead of the time Roger told me and the final price was even less than the original estimate! Thank you to Roger and the rest of the team for their great work!

I recently purchased a used 2015 Jeep Compass. Within the first few days it started showing issues that were not able to be detected through a test drive or inspection. I can’t tell you enough how grateful and appreciative I am of this team. They went above and beyond to make things right. They took in the jeep to fix it up and gave me a brand new rental free of charge. They were able to pin point the issues right away and get me in a nicer, newer vehicle with absolutely no issues. I was having problems with 2014 Rogue it recently had an update on the CVT module of the transmission and was not shifting adequately and the check engine light came on they were Able to reprogram it with the updates that didnt take. Very prompt and professional

After appt yesterday for routine maintenance service tech spent 15 minutes with to show me how to change multiple settings on the camera and locks that I did not like.Competent techs and great customer service.Would not even consider a different dealer or garage to work on my Armada!

Im happy to say I dont go car shopping often so when I did there was definitely some anxiety about it. My wife and I were searching around at various dealerships for a replacement vehicle for our daughter. We had just had a terrible experience with Hyundai of Gurnee (see my other recent review) and were pretty upset whole car buying experience.We saw a vehicle on Autotrader.com that looked to have the right mileage and be in good condition. It was a 2015 Hyundai Elantra with 96K miles on it. They had listed it at around $7500. This was right t the very end of our budget but we figured we would go see it and see if we could work a deal with the dealership if we liked the car. We contacted the dealership to verify the car was still there and made an appointment.Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Sales Person Patrick Fitzgerald. He was personable and helped us with determining if the car we were interested in was going to be at a price we were willing to spend. After a short time we figured that we were about $500 apart in our budget.Instead of trying to pressure us into forking out the extra money for the car we initially came for he spent the next 30-45 minutes helping us look at other cars in our price range at the other Russ Darrow family of Dealerships. This meant that he would possibly lose the sale if we had to go to the other dealership to get the car, but he took his time and helped us nonetheless. None of the other cars in our price range were quite hitting the mark and we ultimately left the dealership without a purchase.I cant say enough how impressed I was with Patrick and his willingness to continue to help us after we were not able to come to a deal on the Elantra. There was no high pressure sales technique, no bait and switch tactic, just genuine help in assisting us in trying to find the best car for our daughter.After our initial visit my wife and I went to dinner locally as we were about an hour from home. We decided that we like Patrick and the dealership so much that we were willing to throw in the extra $500 bucks for the original Elantra we had come to the dealership to look at.Upon returning we did the paperwork and left with the car.I will say that we went to the dealership with the intent to buy a car. We were very satisfied with Patricks efforts and the dealerships approach to car sales. We would certainly recommend Russ Darrow Nissan of West Bend for another car purchase.

Went with my mom to test drive a new rouge and murano and the sales guy was completely insulting. Asked for our credit score and if we could afford the car...we had already been pre-approved from our credit union and have over a 750 credit score before we could test drive one. I have multiple engineering degrees and work in pharma so beyond insulted- I will take my business some place else that doesnt judge us based on appearance...we came in comfy clothes which I guess equates us to not being able to afford a car from here.Also related to covid- no masks on or social distancing.

I had just bought a used 2017 Pathfinder from Russ Darrow, which was my first Nissan product. A new 2018 caught my eye on the showroom when I was in for some service work. Even though I was way too early into a trade position, the sales managers bent over backward to get me into the new Pathfinder finding any discounts available and without me taking a beating on the trade. I was very happy with the deal, the service and sales of the dealership. My new Pathfinder will be serviced through Russ Darrow Nissan and they will be in the forefront for future purchase considerations.

I’d been shopping for a used Pathfinder for a few weeks when I came across one on their website. At that price, it was an okay deal but I saw that they were advertising an additional $3000 over KBB for trade-in vehicles. I read the disclaimer and it looked like the offer would apply to the vehicle that I was interested in. This was an attractive deal so I called last Friday to get more info and make sure that the trade-in offer would apply. The woman I spoke with told me that she was surprised that there was an offer so generous but that she had seen that deal work for others and saw no reason why it wouldn’t work for me. I called back the following morning to make sure the vehicle was still available and that everything would be in order when I arrived. (I didn’t want to to drive three and a half hours for no reason). I also mentioned to her that I had been debating buying new vs. used, so I would like to see a new pathfinder as well as the used one that we had previously discussed. She told me that the trade-in offer would not apply to the new vehicle because it could not be combined with the offers that were already applied to the new vehicles which I understood. I was told that everything would be ready when I arrived.When I arrived, the person that I was told to ask for wasn’t there so I started from scratch rehashing all the details that I had covered with the woman on the phone. My new salesman indicated that there might be a problem with the trade-in deal, but proceeded to collect all of the details about my vehicle so that they could give me an offer. In the meantime we took one of there new pathfinders for a test drive. He then ran the numbers on the new vehicle (tax & fees).After all this I said that I would still like to drive the used one. They then brought the used model up. When I was done test driving it was time to talk numbers. At this point I was told that I would not qualify for the three thousand above KBB. I explained that I had called ahead for this reason.My salesman then went to speak to his manager, and they listened to the recording of the phone call from the previous evening. My salesman came back and reiterated that I simply did not qualify. At this point I was very frustrated and said that this was unacceptable and unless the manager had anything else to offer, I had no reason to do business with them. His GM then came over and said that he had listened to the recording and he could “understand why I might have gotten that impression”. He explained that the trade-in deal could not be combined with other offers and that the price listed on the website constituted and “offer”. He continued to say that he would be unable to help at all with the price of the used vehicle but he had some wiggle room on the new one and offered an additional $1000 off for my trouble.By this time I was so frustrated, I told them I need to think about it. I ultimately left and drove another three and a half hours home... fuming mad.Then as if all that wasn’t enough, Monday morning I missed a call from West Bend. When I listened to the voicemail it went something like this... “Hi, this is _______, GM at Russ Darrow Nissan. I saw that you asked us for an offer on the vehicle you were trying to sell...”For a second there I thought “maybe he calling to apologize”. Nope. Another sales pitch. Obviously he didn’t remember me. Unbelievable!I don’t usually write reviews, especially not negative ones. I just wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the mess that I went through. I was treated very poorly and believe that this dealership employs deceptive advertising. I also believe that either their employees do not understand their promotions or they flat out lie about them.Actually, my salesman hit the nail on the head, he said “those promotions online are just there to get people in the door”.If you are considering doing business with this dealership I would definitely not recommend it.

Awful communication skills, and lack common courtesy.While dealing with the employees here they failed to communicate anything going on in regards to my vehicle being purchased by Russ Darrow. I left my vehicle there being told that they were purchasing it from me.After a 2 month battle of getting information from them and having to make car payments on a vehicle they had on their lot, my bank advised me to go pick up the vehicle. After me leaving my vehicle and title with them and being told that they’d be buying it and they’d be in touch to finalize paperwork. In that time span they did not call or email me one time. My boyfriend contacted them several times trying to see what was stopping the sale, and all they did was give us the run around. On top of that they sent my boyfriend my full social security number, my bank account information, my address. All personal information which should not be sent to anyone but myself.The staff is not knowledgeable and they do not have basic communication skills. They were rude and not willing to work with us when we were trying to find out what happened with the sale.I would give them zero stars if I could.

We were able to work out a deal with the trade in and get me the new monthly payment to an amount I was comfortable with. He was also able to bring in a black one because that was my preference. Chris Loebel is the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He went above and beyond to make sure I got not only the car I wanted, but I also got the terms I was comfortable with. Chris walked me through all the new gadgets in my car, which took me by surprise. He took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. Although it took longer to complete the repair than we would have liked, so far, so good. Everything seems to be working perfectly. The only improvement I could suggest is that we would have liked an update earlier in the day when we weren’t getting our car back. Since our vehicle was with you 4 days, getting an update sooner than 3 or 4:00 would have been nice. We needed to arrange rides and shuffle schedules a bit with a vehicle missing. Twice we had to make the call at around 4:00 in order to find out the repair would be delayed another day. We felt we should have been notified a bit sooner and without us having to make the call to find out. Thank you for repairing the warranty work.

I was also kinda disappointed that I didn’t receive a complimentary car wash/vacuum after my service like every other dealership Ive ever taken vehicles to for service provides. So overall Ill likely just continue service at the Milwaukee location instead.

I came in looking at a Murano but was totally undecided. Carson greeted me as I was looking at the outsides just outside the front door. He was super great to work with, had my best interests at heart, wasnt a high pressure sale. After driving several vehicles I decided on the Murano. I was there 2 hours past close on a Sat night and he did not seem inconvenienced. This is my first Nissan and I love it!

Buying a new vehicle can be a stressful process, especially if you and the sales rep aren’t on the same page. I have always been apprehensive when walking into a new car showroom.......but this time things were different. We were greeted by the GM Chad who was nice enough but soon handed us off to our sales rep, Carson. Long story short, we clicked right away with Carson and were signing in the dotted line shortly thereafter. He had a great temperament for selling, spoke clearly and was great at anticipating our questions. The dealership itself gave us a great offer that we couldn’t pass up. In for recall service 7/23. Justine notified me of an additional recall we were not aware of. Justine was very courteous, helpful, and made me feel welcome. All three recalls were taken care of in a timely manner. My surprise moment was when they offered to shuttle me to/from home which was a half hour drive. The shuttle driver was fantastic as well. Overall, I had an excellent experience!

I came to leave a review because most time people speak of the bad rather than the good and then I read a review about the person who help me and doesn’t at all speak to her character. Dana was an patient and kind woman and I have been into the dealership several times, and she has never been able to help me yet, but has always pointed me in the right direction. It sounds like the below comment was left out of spite, because what the wanted to happen didn’t happen. And I be disappointed too if someone left a bad review when you knew it wasn’t warranted. Way to go Dana for not letting people say things about you that are not true. I will continue to go back to this dealership because Dana states the truth and let’s you know exactly where you are and doesn’t hide anything, I trust her and her advice has only made my situation better, because it wasn’t good when I first visited her when I received a mailer. This is an excellent place. Friendly, efficient staff. Had some minor work done on my Leaf (EV) recently and it was done quickly and at a reasonable price. Have chatted several times with Patrick (one of the salesmen) about electric cars. In March, 2018, they’ll be certified to service and sell the all-electric Leaf (great vehicle!). They already have two powerful level-2 charging stations outside, and I’ve occasionally charged up there. Thanks for the charge-ups and the excellent service!

Went in for two software recalls, as well as an oil change and 5,000 mile tire rotation. Was able to get in promptly and serviced pretty quickly. I was very happy with my service as well as my interaction with the service departments customer service associates.

We worked with Patrick, he was exceptionally knowledgeable and went into so much detail about each vehicle we looked at. We looked at both the 2018 Murano and 2018 Rouge. The friendliness and service was amazing and they were willing to work with our budget. They were also very timely and fast. We ended up leaving with the car we fell in love with and are extremely pleased with our experience from the very moment we pulled into the lot. We are so impressed at not only the quality of Nissan vehicles but the quality of this dealership. Will definitely be recommending them to anyone we know looking for a car!

They had hot Cheetos. What else could a person ask for? In all seriousness though, the employees were friendly, the drinks were hot, the music was good, and the service was moderately quick. You can’t rush perfection. To top this off, I made a huge mess at the drink station and I asked to clean it up, and the nice man in nice clothes cleaned it up for me.Good job Russ Darrow, keep it up.

I had a great experience with Russ Darrow of West Bend. The people all treated me well, they were kind, they explained everything quite well, they didn’t tack on a bunch of fees, and they didn’t patronize me or act condescendingly.I had been vigilantly looking for a specific type of used Nissan Rogue for over a month in the Wisconsin and Illinois areas. The price was slightly higher than I had been looking for, but they didn’t have crazy fees which offset the listing price. They also had recently dropped it $3k, it was Nissan certified, last years model (so newer than I expected to buy) and everything I wanted. I asked for the out the door price before arriving so I knew there would be a $400 doc/dealer fee, but that was it. That’s a reasonable dealer fee, unlike a $1000-2000 experience or destination fee ON TOP of doc fees at other dealers (like some in Illinois—Napleton and Kunes County Ford of Antioch). Some places will also charge in addition to the listing price for certified vehicles, but this was included in the asking price. It was a very different (good) experience compared to the other dealers I had been dealing with, especially those in Illinois. These guys were honest, upfront, kind, helpful, and the typical wholesome Midwest folk.I will comment that they would not take my vehicle as a trade in, which was a downside. They tried, but my out of state title was complicated for them and my car was old with a lot of miles and not in great condition so if they could take it, they would only give me $100-200. That made a little more trouble for me, but I was fine with it and I plan to use Wheelzy to come pick it up who offered more. They also did not negotiate anything off the vehicle I purchased. I’m not sure it’s as easy to negotiate anymore at dealers since everything is online and they want to list their best asking price to get you in the door, but just be mindful of this, or do better than me!Overall the car I purchased was in great condition, everything I could have wanted and a fair price. It came with 3 included oil changes from Russ Darrow locations and two keys which is also something. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and informative. They were also just kind and nice to work with. From the receptionists (Robin and Becky) to the sales people (Patrick and Carson) to the paperwork (Jeanne), it was a good experience for me. Carson was available via text for all my questions and very pleasant to work with--went through all the features of my car and accommodated a schedule change last minute. From my last experiences over the phone or in person at dealers who were deceitful, rude, difficult to work with, it was refreshing to be treated respectfully and to just have an overall good experience. I almost went with carvana or vroom after a bad dealer experience, but I’m glad I didn’t. They were able to do all title/registration/licensing very efficiently and a normal price even with me moving in the near future. It would almost be worth a couple hundred just for the experience here. Highly recommend!

I realize that things dont always go right in auto repair but this was I dropped my 2012 Pathfinder off on Thursday afternoon for an early Friday appointment. My check engine light was on. I have a code reader so I already knew that it was a catalytic converter. Sure enough, they called me early Friday morning to confirm that and indicated that the repair would be about $1,000. I told them to proceed immediately because I needed the car back.They said they ordered the part immediately but unfortunately it wouldnt come in until Saturday morning. Its didnt. They called again and said it wouldnt be in until Tuesday. Great! Im without my vehicle for the weekend. Oh well. Tuesday comes around and I call early to see when my car will be ready. Oh, sorry. the wrong part came in. We had to reorder it. It will be here later today hopefully Sure enough, it came in later Tuesday but sorry, we cant get it done any more today. It will be done tomorrow.So, I dropped the car off on Thursday for a fairly simple repair which almost any repair shop could do in 24 hours and it took them six days. Dont look for me at a Russ Darrow dealership again, either to buy or have a car serviced.

Our salesperson, Patrick, was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful as were the managers, Carson and Dave. Patrick spent time explaining all the features of the car we were interested in and also answered all our questions. The entire experience was completely favorable and we drove home in our new vehicle. We had a great experience at Russ Darrow of West Bend!
